Abstract

Etnomatematika sangat penting untuk memberikan pembelajaran kontekstual. Riset ini bertujuan menggali dan mendeskripsikan etnomatematika Historical Building di Taman Mayura dan mengetahui pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar. Desain riset ini menggabungkan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui metode observasi, deep interview, dokumentasi, dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Milles dan Huberman dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil riset menyatakan, terdapat 6 bangunan bersejarah di Taman Mayura, yakni bale kambang, kolam (telaga), bale pererenan, bale lodji, pura jagat nata, dan pura kelepug. Berbagai jenis bangun datar ditemukan pada struktur bangunan tersebut, seperti bangun datar segiempat, segitiga dan segibanyak. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis, dibuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan implementasi etnomatematika Historical Building “Taman Mayura” terhadap perkembangan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas 4 SDN 38 Cakranegara. Ethnomathematics is essential for providing contextual learning. Therefore, this research aims to explore and describe the ethnomathematics of the Historical Building in Mayura Park and determine the influence of ethnomathematics on the numeracy ability of elementary school students. This research design combines qualitative research and quantitative research through observation methods, deep interviews, documentation, and tests. The data analysis technique was carried out based on the opinions of Milles and Huberman and the paired sample t-test. The results of the research stated that there are 6 historical buildings in Mayura Park, namely bale kambang, pond (lake), bale pererenan, bale lodji, jagat nata temple, and kelepug temple. Various types of flat buildings are found in these building structures, such as quadrilateral, triangular and polygonal flat buildings. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is proven that there is a significant influence of the ethnomathematics implementation of the Historical Building "Taman Mayura" on the development of numeracy skills of grade 4 students of SDN 38 Cakranegara.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis peningkatan literasi matematis dan self-confidence siswa yang memperoleh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dengan pembelajaran ekspositori, serta korelasi antara literasi matematis dan self-confidence siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Bandung, dengan simple random class sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah uji-t dan uji Korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan literasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh model PBL lebih tinggi, self-confidence siswa yang memperoleh model PBL lebih baik daripada yang memperoleh pembelajaran ekspositori, dan terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara literasi matematis dan self-confidence. This research aims to analyze the increase in mathematical literacy and self-confidence of students who receive the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model with expository learning, as well as the correlation between mathematical literacy and student self-confidence. The method used is quasi-experimental. The research population was class VIII students of State Middle Schools in Bandung, with simple random class sampling. The analysis techniques used are the t-test and Pearson Correlation test. The research results showed that the increase in mathematical literacy of students who received the PBL model was higher, the self-confidence of students who received the PBL model was better than those who received expository learning, and there was a significant positive correlation between mathematical literacy and self-confidence.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Guided Discovery Learning berbantuan GeoGebra dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, dengan fokus khusus pada rasa percaya diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi Sistematic Literature Review (SLR) yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, peninjauan, dan dokumentasi, dengan pengelompokan, analisis, dan penarikan kesimpulan dari data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan guru dapat memanfaatkan pendekatan Guided Discovery Learning dengan bantuan GeoGebra untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan tetap memperhatikan tingkat kepercayaan diri. Siswa yang menggunakan model Guided Discovery Learning berbantuan GeoGebra mempunyai kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang lebih baik. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the Guided Discovery Learning model assisted by GeoGebra in improving students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, with a special focus on self-confidence. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology which includes planning, reviewing, and documentation stages, grouping, analysis, and concluding the data. The research results show that teachers can utilize the Guided Discovery Learning approach with the help of GeoGebra to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities while still paying attention to their level of self-confidence. Students who use the Guided Discovery Learning model assisted by GeoGebra have better mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses transposisi didaktik materi persamaan garis lurus dari scholarly knowledge ke knowledge to be taught. Penelitian menggunakan framework didactical design research dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan desain fenomenologi hermeneutik. Sumber data adalah scholarly knowledge berupa buku geometri analitik di perguruan tinggi dan dokumen knowledge to be taught berupa kurikulum dan buku pelajaran matematika SMP kelas VIII. Beberapa temuan permasalahan yang dapat menjadi potensi munculnya hambatan belajar yaitu pernyataan bentuk umum persamaan garis lurus , pendefinisian gradien sebagai rasio jarak atau rasio perubahan, serta penggunaan konteks yang tidak memenuhi asumsi realitas matematika. Temuan ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi noosfer agar lebih berhati-hati dan melakukan antisipasi dalam merancang kurikulum dan buku pelajaran tentang persamaan garis lurus. This research examines the didactic transposition process of straight-line equation material from scholarly knowledge to knowledge to be taught. The research uses a didactical design framework with a qualitative approach and hermeneutic phenomenological design. The data sources are scholarly knowledge in the form of analytical geometry books at universities and knowledge-to-be-taught documents in the form of curriculum and grade VIII middle school mathematics textbooks. Some of the problem findings that could potentially create barriers to learning include stating the general form of the straight-line equation y=mx+c, defining gradient as a distance ratio or change ratio, and using contexts that do not meet the assumptions of mathematical reality. These findings can be a reference for the noosphere to be more careful and anticipate when designing curricula and textbooks about straight-line equations.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh Pengetahuan Konten Pedagogis Teknologi (TPACK) terhadap kemampuan matematika calon guru dalam mengajar matematika. Desain penelitian adalah tinjauan pustaka, dan subjek yang disertakan adalah penelitian yang tersedia dari situs web jurnal daring. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kriteria inklusi penelitian, dan sebagai hasilnya, enam artikel dipilih untuk analisis TPACK terhadap kemampuan matematika. Data dianalisis dalam meta-analisis berdasarkan ukuran efek. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa TPACK memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan matematika calon guru sebagaimana ditunjukkan dari ukuran efek rata-rata sebesar 1,06. Hasil tersebut juga menunjukkan bahwa efek keseluruhan TPACK terhadap kemampuan matematika adalah 1,06 dan dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai efek yang tinggi. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) on the pre-service teachers' mathematical ability to teach mathematics. The research design is a literature review, and the subject included is research available from online journal websites. The research subject was selected based on the research inclusion criteria, and as a result, six articles were selected for the analysis of TPACK on mathematical ability. Data were analyzed in a meta-analysis based on the effect size. The findings suggested that TPACK has a significant impact on the pre-service teachers' mathematical ability as shown from the mean effect size of 1.06. The results also indicated that the overall effect of TPACK on mathematical ability is 1.06 and can be classified as a high effect.

Abstract

Penggunaan bahan ajar matematika berbantuan live worksheet dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika namun masih jarang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan pustaka terkait bahan ajar matematika berbantuan live worksheet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) yang terdiri dari 38 penelitian bahan ajar matematika berbantuan liveworksheet di rentang tahun 2019 – 2023 yang diambil dari jurnal terindeks SINTA 2 dan 3. Pertanyaan kunci dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana artikel-artikel tersebut didistribusikan berdasarkan tahun penerbitan, jenjang pendidikan, topik matematika, dan metode penelitian yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian terkait bahan ajar matematika berbantuan live worksheet paling banyak dilakukan pada tahun 2023 dan mengalami tren peningkatan, penelitian paling banyak dilakukan pada jenjang SMP, pada topik geometri, dan menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development. Using mathematics teaching materials assisted by live worksheets can increase students' interest in learning mathematics but is still rarely used. This research aims to conduct a literature review regarding mathematics teaching materials assisted by live worksheets. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which consists of 38 studies of mathematics teaching materials assisted by live worksheets in the period 2019 – 2023 taken from indexed journals SINTA 2 and 3. The key question in this research is how these articles are distributed based on year of publication, level of education, mathematics topic, and research methods used. The research results show that most research related to mathematics teaching materials assisted by live worksheets will be carried out in 2023 and is experiencing an increasing trend, most research will be carried out at the junior high school level, on geometry topics, and using the Research and Development research method.

Abstract

Kemampuan koneksi penting sebagai bagian dari keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS berbasis budaya Jambi. Penelitian studi kasus ini melibatkan 32 siswa dengan tipe kepribadian sensing dan intuiting. Instrumen penelitian mencakup tes kepribadian MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), lembar tes soal HOTS, dan wawancara. Data dikumpulkan melalui triangulasi sumber dan waktu, dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan tipe kepribadian sensing lebih baik (70%) daripada tipe intuiting (56,25%). Temuan ini mengindikasikan siswa dengan tipe sensing lebih efektif dalam mengaitkan dan menerapkan konsep matematika pada soal HOTS berbasis budaya Jambi, sementara siswa dengan tipe intuiting menghadapi kesulitan dalam membangun koneksi matematis, yang mempengaruhi akurasi jawaban mereka. Dengan demikian, tipe kepribadian memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam mengintegrasikan dan menerapkan pengetahuan matematika dalam situasi kompleks. Connection abilities are important as part of higher order thinking skills. This study aims to explore students' mathematical connection skills in solving HOTS problems based on Jambi culture, with a focus on the Kajang leko traditional house and the padamaran cake typical of Jambi. This research used a case study approach involving 32 students with sensing and intuiting personality types. The research instruments included MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) personality tests, HOTS question test sheets, and interviews. Data were collected through triangulation of sources and time, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that students with sensing personality type had better mathematical connection ability (70%) than students with intuiting type (56.25%). This finding indicates that students with the sensing type are more effective in connecting and applying mathematical concepts to Jambi culture-based HOTS questions, while students with the intuiting type face difficulties in building mathematical connections, which affects the accuracy of their answers. Thus, personality type has a significant influence on students' ability to integrate and apply mathematical knowledge in complex situations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kemampuan TPACK dosen di Universitas Negeri Makassar dalam mengintegrasikan pengetahuan konten, pedagogi, dan teknologi ke dalam praktik pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif untuk menggambarkan tingkat penguasaan TPACK dosen. Data diperoleh dari 35 dosen melalui kuesioner yang dirancang untuk mengevaluasi tiga komponen utama TPACK, yaitu pengetahuan konten (CK), pengetahuan pedagogis (PK), dan pengetahuan teknologi (TK), serta kemampuan dalam mengintegrasikan ketiga komponen tersebut dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosen memiliki tingkat penguasaan TPACK yang baik, dengan 51% responden berada dalam kategori tinggi dan 49% lainnya dalam kategori sedang. This study aims to examine the TPACK abilities of lecturers at Makassar State University in integrating content knowledge, pedagogy, and technology into teaching practices. The research employs a quantitative approach with a descriptive design to describe the level of TPACK mastery among lecturers. Data were collected from 35 lecturers using a questionnaire designed to evaluate the three main components of TPACK: content knowledge (CK), pedagogical knowledge (PK), and technological knowledge (TK), as well as the ability to integrate these three components into the planning and implementation of mathematics teaching. The results show that lecturers have a good level of TPACK mastery, with 51% of respondents categorized as high and the remaining 49% categorized as moderate.

Abstract

Dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, gaya belajar siswa harus diperhatikan agar guru dapat menentukan strategi pembelajaran yang tepat untuk memenuhi semua kebutuhan belajar siswa, Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan melakukan pengecekkan terhadap gaya belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. disimpulkan bahwa gaya belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Banyuresmi didominasi oleh gaya belajar visual. Hasil pengumpulan angket, wawancara, dan observasi dilakukan sebagai cara untuk melakukan pengecekan (klarifikasi) atas hasil tes gaya belajar yang dilakukan pada laman akupintar. Ternyata ketiga siswa yang diambil sebagai objek penelitian menunjukkan hasil dominan gaya belajar visual, padahal menurut hasil tes pada laman akupintar siswa tersebut memiliki gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Tes gaya belajar ini perlu dilakukan agar guru dapat mempersiapkan strategi pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar siswa sesuai dengan gaya belajar yang berbeda-beda. In differentiated learning, students' learning styles must be taken into account so that teachers can determine appropriate strategies to meet all students' learning needs. This research aims to describe and analyze students' learning styles. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings indicate that the learning styles of Class VII students at SMP Negeri 3 Banyuresmi are predominantly visual. Questionnaires, interviews, and observations were conducted to cross-check and clarify the results of the learning style tests administered on the Akupintar platform. The analysis revealed that the three students selected as research subjects exhibited dominant visual learning styles, even though the test results on the Akupintar platform indicated that these students possessed a combination of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Conducting learning style assessments is essential for enabling teachers to design suitable differentiated learning strategies that address the diverse learning needs of students.

Abstract

Kemampuan spasial merupakan salah satu kemampuan matematis yang sangat penting dimiliki siswa khususnya dalam menyelesaikan masalah geometri. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis perlu diterapkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai, yaitu model Problem-Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas model PBL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metod quasi experimental dan desain penelitian adalah pre-experimental. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, peneliti mengambil sampel siswa kelas VIII-I dari salah satu sekolah yang ada di kabupaten Garut. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Hasil uji-t, uji-z dan uji gain dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model problem-based learning efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematis siswa. Spatial ability is one of the mathematical skills that is very important for students, especially in solving geometry problems. To improve mathematical spatial ability, it is necessary to apply an appropriate learning model, namely the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the PBL model in improving mathematical spatial ability. This study is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method and the research design is pre-experimental. With the purposive sampling technique, the researcher took a sample of students in grades VIII-I from one of the schools in Garut district. Data collection uses tests and observations. The results of the t-test, z-test and gain test can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model is effectively used to improve students' mathematical spatial ability.
