FOCUS AND SCOPE Enggang adalah jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Enggang dipilih sebagai nama jurnal ini karena kehidupan masyarakat Kalimantan Tengah tidak jauh dari alam, termasuk kedekatannya pada burung yang bernama enggang. Burung enggang merupakan simbol kebesaran dan kemuliaan suku Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Burung enggang juga melambangkan perdamaian dan persatuan, sayapnya yang tebal melambangkan pemimpin yang selalu melindungi rakyatnya. Ekor panjangnya dianggap sebagai tanda kemakmuran rakyat suku Dayak. Kaitannya dengan jurnal ini, tidak lain adalah mengambil makna filosofis kebesaran burung enggang agar jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya ini, nantinya menjadi besar yang akan dikenal secara lokal, nasional, dan internasional. Jurnal Enggang sebagai jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya merupakan salah satu wadah untuk mengumpulkan dan melestarikan kekayaan kita yang tidak ternilai harganya. Tentunya kekayaan yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Jurnal ini hadir untuk siapa saja yang mencintai dan ingin berkarya di bidang pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Selain itu, kami sebagai pengurus jurnal ini bersedia memberikan bimbingan dan pelatihan untuk siapa saja yang ingin maju dan berkompeten dalam hal menulis karya fiksi maupun nonfiksi. Melalui bimbingan dan pelatihan pasti gairah menulis para calon pendidik, para pendidik, dan para pecinta pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya bangkit dengan semangat membara. This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of busy book learning media in learning themes 6 sub-themes 4 learning 1 class III at SD Negeri 10104481 Alur Baung, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. This type of research is research and development using 4D mode by Thiagarajan. The instruments used were questionnaire validation sheets, test validation sheets, material expert validation sheets, media expert validation sheets, interview sheets, education specialist (teacher) questionnaires, as well as pre-test and post-test. The results of research related to feasibility show that the results of material experts give an average value of 86% which is categorized as "Very Eligible" and the results of media experts get an average value of 96% which is categorized as "Very Eligible". The results of research related to practicality show that the average value is 94% and is categorized as "Very Practical". While the results of research related to effectiveness to see student learning outcomes that the results of the pre-test trials showed that students completed only 4 students. Meanwhile, the results of the post-test trial showed that 30 students out of 30 students who completed the N-Gain score of 76% and were categorized as "Effective".

The problem in this study is the low learning outcomes of students. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a positive influence of the picture and picture learning model on student learning outcomes in theme 8 subtheme 1 in class V SD Negeri 173206 Sibingke. The research used is quantitative research, with a type of quasi-experimental research. The sample of this study was all class V students consisting of two classes, namely class Va as an experimental class and class Vb as a control class. The data collection tool used to determine student learning outcomes is an objective test with a total of 20 questions that have been tested for validation and reliability. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test using t-test formula. The results showed that student learning outcomes in theme 8 subtheme 1 increased with picture and picture learning models, namely pretest by 41.25 and posttest by 8. Based on the prerequisites tested first, namely normal and homogeneous data. The results of the normality test and homogeneity test show that the resulting data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of the normality test calculation using the Liliefors test obtained student learning results in the experimental class using the picture and picture learning model, namely in the Pre-Test Lcalculate = 0.0926< Ltabel = 0.190 and in the post-test results Lcalculate = 0.155< Ltabel = 0.190 which shows that the data in the experimental class are normally distributed. In the control class using conventional learning models showed that the normality test results in the pre-test were Lcalculate = 0.106< Ltabel = 0.200 and the post-test results showed that Lcalculate = 0.195< Ltabel = 0.200 then the data in the control class were normally distributed. The calculation results of the experimental class and control class pre-test homogeneity test were obtained Fcalculate = 1.194 and the results of the experimental class and control class post-test homogeneity test Fcalculate = 1.115 with Ftable (α = 0.05) obtained 2.243. So Fcalculate< Ftabel concluded that the variance of pre-test and post-test data of experimental and control groups came from homogeneous samples. Furthermore, a hypothesis test was carried out using a t test at the level of α= 0.05, namely Tcalculate > Ttabel or 3.008>1.688 thus Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected so that it can be concluded that: "there is an influence of the picture and picture learning model on student learning outcomes in theme 8 subtheme 1 grade V SD Negeri 173206 Sibingke T.A 2022/2023.

Technological developments already influence children, so they are more focused on their gadgets. This is very influential with children's interest in folk tales conveyed by parents. The folklore of Kilat Tempilar is a story originating from Lubuklinggau, South Sumatra. The archipelago has past stories of various unique stories with heritage sites. Children, as early as possible should know their identity. Every child is born from diverse ancestry and different ethnicities. Each ethnic group in the archipelago has different customs or cultures. With the folklore-themed dance performances, it is hoped to revive Indonesian folklore that is not widely known by the public. Performing arts can be a medium for implementing folklore which is more easily imprinted in the audience's minds, and children will be more interested in performing arts which tell folk stories rather than listening to them orally from their parents without any examples in visual form. Implementing the Kilat Tembilar folklore into a dance performance uses several dance elements in general, namely accompaniment music, stage setting, fashion make-up, and lighting. Archipelago folklore requires much inheritance to preserve and continue from generation to generation. Folklore-themed dance performances also contain moral, social, and other educational values.

This research was made with the aim of knowing the reading difficulties faced by students from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a case study method. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were 6 students in class III of SD Negeri Kembaran in 2023. The results of this study are reading difficulties experienced by students such as not recognising some consonant and vowel letters, difficulty distinguishing letters that have the same shape, reading is still spelled out, stammering, slow reading, difficulty in stringing words, omission and change of letters, reading does not pay attention to punctuation and does not understand the content of the reading text. Factors causing reading difficulties such as intellectual factors or students' ability to read, environmental factors such as students' background and experience and socio-economic factors. As well as psychological factors in the form of student motivation, interest, emotions and student confidence. Teachers' efforts to overcome reading difficulties experienced by students by using the repetition method with visual media such as reading books and reading cards.

The song Asmalibrasi is one of the songs from Soegi Bornean. The song's lyrics use a lot of diction that is rarely used in everyday language. There is an assumption that terminology and the song flow become a sign and carry a particular message, so further study is needed. Among several theories related to symbols and meanings, Roland Barthes' theory of Semiotics which has the concept of connotative meaning and myth, is considered appropriate to be used as an analytical knife in this study. It is because there is a meaning in the second stage that can help reveal a connotative message and its myth. This research looks for the sign system's shape and the myths that appear in the song. Analysis of this study revealed that the music expresses the phenomenon of love and affection that lovers are experiencing. This song is considered revolutionary because some expressions describe the meanings in the form of the value of kindness and happiness in a romantic relationship, represented by beautiful lyrics. Some of the connotative meanings in the data indicate the existence of one myth that influences the song's narrative and becomes the main ideology, namely loyalty.

This research discusses the image of Russian women in the short story entitled Вера/Vera by Evgeniya Nekrasova. The aim of this research is to determine the image of Russian women in the Soviet era through analysis of the characters in the short story. This research uses descriptive analytical methods. Then it is complemented by an approach to intrinsic and extrinsic elements. The theories used are character-characterization and existentialist feminism. The author sees that the short story entitled Вера/Vera by Evgeniya Nekrasova presents a new view regarding how the younger generation of Russians view the image of Russian women in the Soviet era. Thus, this research shows the image of Soviet women through the female characters in the short story Вера/Vera, namely Vera and Tonya who are intelligent, hardworking, strong, adaptive, firm, disciplined, and caring in getting through the conflicts in their lives that occurred during the Soviet era.

Central Kalimantan as part of the province that has the second largest peatland in Indonesia is currently facing the threat of extinction of the land. Therefore, peat ecosystem conservation needs to be continuously carried out by all levels of society, including the next generation who are currently still studying at elementary, middle and high school levels. Participation in peatland conservation activities can be started in a simple way and closely related to the lives of children and adolescents, one of which is through writing literary works such as short stories. Literary works can be an educational medium that is full of messages for its readers. The objectives of this community service activity; (1) to improve the ability of junior high school students in Palangka Raya City in writing creative literature, especially short stories based on the wealth of peatlands in Palangka Raya, (2) to improve the knowledge and insight of junior high school students in Palangka Raya City regarding the wealth of peatlands in Palangka Raya City, and (3) to maintain literature based on the wealth of peatlands in Central Kalimantan. The method used in this community service activity is a process method that includes three stages, namely; (1) preparation, (2) implementation and (3) evaluation. The result of this activity is a product, namely the Anthology of Short Stories Uncovering the Mystery and Wonders of Central Kalimantan Peatlands, which is the work of the participants of this training activity. This product also shows that this writing training activity is able to improve the ability of junior high school students in Palangka Raya City in writing creative literature.

The Bakumpai community also has written literature that has been published, but according to informants, no results have been obtained from oral literature during the research period. This study examines one of the oral traditions of the Bakumpai community through the expression of taboos in the form of community beliefs as ancestral heritage that is still believed and applied by the community. The expression of taboos is an oral tradition that is still very familiar in the Bakumpai community group who live on the outskirts of the Barito river basin, precisely in Pendang Village, Dusun Utara District, South Barito Regency. This study aims to identify and analyze the existence of pemali as a cultural wealth of the Pendang Village community, Dusun Utara District, South Barito Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research which aims to describe empirically through verbal interaction with stages of data analysis. The study is expected to achieve specific objectives and produce mandatory outputs, namely articles published in the Sinta journal and documents published in books published by HKI, by collecting data on expressions of taboos studied in the field of Anthropolinguistics.

The Dayak Maanyan culture has traditional values that can be seen in the Popular Fables of the Dayak Maanyan Tribe. These values are introduced from generation to generation, so that the values in the Dayak Maanyan tribe are not destroyed. The childhood of the Dayak Maanyan tribe is built through the storytelling of the Popular Fables of the Dayak Maanyan Tribe. Parents in the Dayak Maanyan tribe are important agents in educating their children regarding the values of the Dayak Maanyan tribe that can be conveyed through the Popular Fables of the Dayak Maanyan Tribe. This study will examine the intrinsic and extrinsic elements contained in the Popular Fables of the Dayak Maanyan Tribe. The intrinsic values that will be studied are the cultural values and cultural identity of the Dayak Maanyan tribe in the Popular Fables of the Dayak Maanyan Tribe. While the extrinsic values that will be studied are efforts to maintain cultural values and increase understanding and appreciation of the culture of the Dayak Maanyan tribe in the popular fable book of the Dayak Maanyan Tribe. The method used is qualitative descriptive, where all data is qualitative data that is studied and analyzed in the form of descriptions. The expected results are to provide understanding, show roles, identify strategies and preservation efforts, and provide recommendations related to the popular Dayak Maanyan fable book.

The purpose of this study was to determine the process and feasibility of developing interactive Microsoft PowerPoint-based film review text material for Grade VIII students at SMPN 35 Medan. The approach employed is the method of research and development (Research and Development/R&D). Sugiyono has modified the research method with a design according to the needs and limitations of this study. The researcher then simplified it into six stages, namely: (a) potential and problems, (b) data collection, (c) product design, (d) product validation, (e) product revision, and (f) testing of respondents. The feasibility value of a product can can be assessed using a Likert scale based on the validation outcomes provided by experts in the field of content and media..The process of developing this material was carried out to add some of the contributions of existing material to make even better film review text material. T The outcomes revealed that the product emanating from the study "Development of Material on Interactive Microsoft Powerpoint-Based Film Review Text for Class VIII Students of SMPN" was included in the "very good" category. Based on the results of validation by material experts, a percentage value of 90% was obtained and validation by media experts obtained a percentage of 89%. Therefore, It can be affirmed that the product is appropriate for utilization in educational activities
