Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the low mathematical problem-solving ability and learning outcomes of grade II students of SD Negeri 1 Banjarsari Kulon. In the mathematics learning process, where students are less able to understand the material delivered by the teacher, and in doing problems do not use the solution steps, causing low students' ability to solve problems so that learning outcomes are not optimal. The research conducted during these 3 cycles aims to improve the ability to solve mathematical problems in measurement materials. Data on problem-solving skills and activities of teachers and students using observation sheets and through written tests were both quantitatively analyzed. This success indicator with an average percentage of overall mathematical problem-solving ability reaches 75%. The results of this study show that the average percentage of problem-solving ability in cycle 1 is 43% (less) to 82% (very good) in cycle III. In the aspect of completeness, learning outcomes were shown at an average of 68% completeness in cycle I and to 84% in cycle III.

Abstract

Corporate income tax payable fluctuates, and therefore, corporate income tax payable in Indonesia is in a state of national economic recovery, and corporate income tax rates are decreasing. This study aims to determine the influence of Capital Structure, Profitability and Operating Costs on Corporate Income Tax Payable in Pharmaceutical Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the IDX for 2019-2023. The research method used is an associative method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is pharmaceutical subsector companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2023 period. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, so the samples obtained were seven companies and 5 years of observation. The analysis used was classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study state that the capital structure variable (X1) obtained a cal value = |-2.457| > ttable = 2.039 with a significant level of 0.020 < 0.05, then H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted, the profitability variable (X2) was obtained a cal value = 4.065 > ttable = 2.039 with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 was rejected, and H2 was accepted, and the operational cost variable (X3) was obtained a tcal value = |-2.875| > ttable = 2.039 with a significant level by 0.007 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted. Simultaneously, the value of Fcal was obtained at 11.175 > 2.91 Ftable and significant for LDAR, ROA and Operating Costs, was 0.000 or less than 0.05, then Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted. The conclusion of this study shows that capital structure, profitability, and operational costs affect Corporate Income Tax Payable simultaneously

Abstract

One of the low cognitive and affective abilities of students is mathematical communication skills and self-confidence. This study aims to determine the difference in mathematical communication skills and students' confidence between those who use the Collaborative problem-solving model with the Geogebra application and those who use the lecture method. The research design used in this study is actual experimental design. Sampling in this study was carried out randomly, namely classes VIIIA and VIIIB. The data collection technique uses a mathematical communication ability test and a student confidence questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out by prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity tests), hypothesis tests, and t-tests. From the results of the t-test data posttest of students' mathematical communication skills, a score of sig. (2-tailed) 0.047 < 0.05, so it was concluded that there was a difference in the mathematical communication ability of students in the experimental and control classes. The average result of the confidence questionnaire of students in the experimental class was 75.75, while in the control class, it was 55.80, so it was concluded that the student's confidence in the experimental class was better than that of the control class
