Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the strategy developed by SD Shopos Indonesia in dealing with opportunities and threats of the external environment on a micro basis based on the results of Porter's Five Forces Analysis. This type of research is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and study documentation. From the research results on Porter's five strengths, currently, SD Shopos Indonesia has a high threat of new entrants, a low threat of substitute products, an increased threat of bargaining power of buyers, low bargaining power of suppliers, and high competition between SPK institutions. From the results of the analysis, several strategies used to maintain the existence of the institution are to apply consistent strategy, namely: (1) Providing learning using national and foreign curricula; (2) Applying national values ??and regional culture through various programs; (3) Forming small classes (less than 20 students/class) so that supervision is good; (4) Providing educational services and teaching of international standards at affordable costs; (5) Developing national, global, and environmental insights in each lesson; and (6) Providing a holistic learning experience. The conclusion is that SD Shopos Indonesia is in a position of high external environmental threat; a small opportunity is exploited with a consistent strategy in maintaining the organization's existence.

The research method in this study was a quasi-experimental method, taking samples using a simple random sampling technique. The sample of this research was students in semester 2 of class A as an experimental class who were treated with a learning model based on blended learning and students in semester 2 of class B were given a conventional approach. The results of the research in this study are the learning outcomes of the Experiment class of 84 and the Control class of 70. The results of the t-test in this study obtained a tcount of 2.99 and table at a significant level of 5% of 2.00, then tcount > ttable based on this shows that the Blended Learning-Based Learning model influences student learning outcomes in the Invertebrate Animal Taxonomy course.

Abstract

Education opens up numerous opportunities to record economic expansion worldwide, with specific reference to developing countries. Progress in educational indicators has been inadequate over the past few decades. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) has recently garnered significant attention in Indonesia. OBE is employed in education because it clearly focuses and organizes everything in the education system around what all students need to be able to do by the end of their learning journey. OBE proposes influential and engaging choices to transform and organize medical education. Therefore, the fundamental objective of this review is to highlight the higher education system and the need to transition from a teacher-centered system to an outcome-based education system. This review also discusses the key factors that influence student learning outcomes. The search strategies were designed by combining Boolean operators and key terms relevant to the review objectives. Five studies were included in the paper regarding the effectiveness of Outcome-Based Education in various educational disciplines. The findings suggest five important factors from the literature that influence student learning outcomes, including assessment strategies, learning objectives based on complexity levels, preferred learning styles of students, English language proficiency, and industry requirements.

Abstract

Schooling is one of the most important variables that may shape and drive the development of an individual's moral and character traits, particularly during the period of schooling known as elementary education. The instillation of moral principles and a good character in primary school kids is a very significant part of the attempt to fulfill the Golden Indonesia vision 2045. Educators play a very important role in this. This research intends to explain why the role of educators is highly important in shaping the moral values and character of students, as well as how it can contribute to the goals of Indonesia Emas 2045. The study also wants to explain why this role is very crucial in developing the moral values and character of students. The method of searching the existing literature and conducting an analysis of the collected data led to the conclusion that educators play a role in the formation of moral and character in basic education in the following ways: (1) laying the groundwork for moral and character development; (2) fostering the development of positive values; and (3) fostering the growth of robust personalities. As a result of their significant role, educators have the power to assist in the development of young people who possess high moral standards, solid character, and the capacity to contribute to the realization of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
