Abstract

Students have unique learning styles. Understanding students' learning style profiles enables teachers to design differentiated learning with more effective teaching strategies that cater to individual needs, enhancing comprehension and retention of material. The aim of this research is to determine the Student Learning Style Profiles for Differentiated Learning in the Merdeka Curriculum in Elementary Schools. This is motivated by the distinct differences among students influenced by environmental factors and brain dominance, shaping learning styles towards visual, auditory, or kinesthetic preferences. This qualitative descriptive research employed a case study approach, involving all second-grade students (Class IIB) of elementary school 44 Bengkulu city in the academic year 2023/2024, totaling 24 students. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research findings reveal diverse learning styles among second-grade students, with 31% being visual learners, 32% auditory, and 37% kinesthetic. These differences pose a challenge for teachers to implement differentiated teaching strategies. The goal of differentiated learning is to facilitate meeting the diverse learning needs of students. This study anticipates that students' learning styles in elementary school 44 Bengkulu city may differ in auditory and kinesthetic aspects, and understanding these learning styles can assist teachers in adapting their teaching approaches to meet students' needs and potentials.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the superior intellectual, emotional, and spiritual intelligence of the Prophet Muhammad Rasulullah SAW. Literature research is used by various hadiths to explain the intelligence of Rasulullah SAW, such as his ability to remember or memorize revealed revelations and his kindness and respect for non-Muslims at that time, which made him a figure admired by the world—not only Muslims but also non-Muslims. . The Prophet rose to the position of being the most perfect intelligence because he possessed the highest intelligence, namely his spiritual intelligence, which he demonstrated through his piety to Allah, submission to Him, and the ability to see things deeply and essential. According to history, the Prophet Muhammad SAW prepared Allah SWT to become a Messenger not only for the apathetic Arab people of his time but also for the whole world until the end of time. All of the Prophet's intelligences are equated with intelligence in psychological research.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to describe how do figurative languages reflect the cultural values in Toba Batak Saur Matua Ceremony. This research was conducted by using qualitative descriptive design. The data were the utterances gathered from umpasa that are delivered by Hula-hula, boru, and dongan tubu of 3 Toba Batak saur matua ceremonies in Rantau prapat and Tarutung. The data analyzed by using theory of descriptive analysis. It began from identifying the data that are needed for this research, classifying the data based on the theory of figures of speech and analyzing the data based on the theories that were used. The findings are (1) there were 7 out of 10 kinds of figure of speech were found in the umpasa of Toba Batak saur matua ceremony which were simile, metaphor, personification, symbol, allegory, overstatement/hyperbole, and irony, (2) The most dominant figure of speech in Toba Batak saur matua ceremony was simile (3) Toba Batak people tent to deliver umpasa through simile which compared between two dissimilar things by using the comparative term (like, as) and described to the first qualities of the second of invest the first with connotations inherent in the other. In addition, the figures of speech which were uttered by the speakers such as Hula-hula, boru, and dongan tubu used in Toba Batak saur matua ceremony as a blessing.

Abstract

Penelitian membahas peran filosofis dalam membentuk berbagai tipe guru dan dampaknya pada pengalaman belajar siswa. Pendidikan dianggap sebagai pilar utama dalam membentuk masyarakat yang berbudaya, dengan filsafat pendidikan sebagai fondasi yang mengarahkan tujuan, arti, dan metode pendidikan. Guru tidak hanya sebagai pemegang pengetahuan tetapi juga sebagai arsitek pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran guru sebagai pengajar, pembimbing, dan contoh teladan, dengan menyoroti berbagai tipe guru seperti fasilitator pembelajaran, motivator, dan pembimbing etika, serta menganalisis implikasi filosofisnya. Melalui metode penelitian yang mencakup konsep filsafat pendidikan, definisi, dan sejarahnya, jurnal ini juga menekankan pentingnya etika guru dalam praktik pendidikan, termasuk integritas, keterlibatan, tanggung jawab, keadilan, dan keterbukaan. Diharapkan penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang hubungan antara filsafat pendidikan, peran guru, dan pengalaman belajar siswa, serta memberikan panduan praktis untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di ruang kelas.

Abstract

Education contributes to improving human quality, which is highly related to the development of a regency. In general, the HDI or IPM in Sampang Regency has increased, according to data from BPS, the Human Development Index (HDI) of Sampang Regency in 2022 reached 63.39, an increase of 0.59 points (0.94 percent) compared to the previous year's achievement (62.80). During 2010-2022, the HDI of Sampang Regency increased by an average of 1.36 per cent per year from 54.49 in 2010 to 63.39 in 2022. This study aims to analyze the IPM in Sampang in order to find out what leverage factors can be used as a basis for factors that can increase HDI in Sampang Regency. The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) only counts students who continue their studies in the Sampang Regency area as IPM data in the education sector. This problem makes the Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) numbers low in Sampang Regency. Meanwhile, the issue of Average Years of Schooling (RLS) will be expected to increase with the Paket C program. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for various parties who will analyze the Human Development Index (IPM) in the field of education. In particular, it is expected to be a reference for parties involved in the formulation of IPM in the field of education in Sampang Regency.

Abstract

The research aims to test and determine empirical data regarding the relationship between social interactions and increasing students' emotional intelligence at Al-Azhar Elementary School, Serang City. The method used is a survey with a correlational approach. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive analysis with simple regression analysis tests. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a positive and significant relationship between social interaction and the emotional intelligence of Al-Azhar Elementary School students in Serang City with a positive value of 3.332 and a sig value of 0.035. Thus, the results of this research can be a reference regarding the important role of education that involves emotional intelligence and social interaction in student learning components.

Abstract

The output of learning activities is the achievement of the minimum competencies that have been determined. To achieve minimum competency, students' interest and curiosity need to be developed. This research aims to find out how big the impact of implementing the Hands On Activity (HoA) learning model is in increasing students' curiosity about Hajj material in class V of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 7 Boyolali. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method with data collection, data processing, data analysis and data interpretation from student assessment results before and after using the HoA method. Achievement of daily assessment results on students' curiosity about Hajj material. A total of 19 students or 82.61% of students have reached the KKM while those who have not reached the KKM are 4 students or 17.39% of students with a KKM score in the Fiqh subject in this class of 65 The average overall assessment result is 75.91, with the highest score obtained by students being 95 while the lowest score was 55. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Hands On Activity model can increase students' curiosity about Hajj material in class. V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 7 Boyolali.

Abstract

A Writing feature news based on interview text using the questionnaire method is one aspect of learning Indonesian in class X MAS.sFemale students are expected to be able to write feature news based on good and correct interview texts. This research aims to describe the ability to write feature news based on interview text using the questionnaire method. The population of this study were all class X MAS students at the Ar-Radhatul Hasanah Islamic boarding school in Medan, totaling 191 female students. The sample for this research was taken from 25% of the total population, namely forty-six female students who were randomly distributed in each local class X. The method used in this research was the descriptive method. This method is used in accordance with the problem and research objectives which are to describe the ability to write feature news based on interview text using a questionnaire method for class X MAS students at the Ar-Raudhatul Hasanah Islamic boarding school in Medan. Judging from the percentage distribution of scores, of the forty-six female students/students who were sampled, it was found that 34 (74%) female students were in the 80-100 range, including the very good category, and 12 (26%) female students were in the 70-79 range. included in the good category

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keterlaksanaan pembelajaran IPA kelas VIII di SMPN 6 Siak Hulu Tahun Ajaran 2023/2024. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Dua sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sumber data primer yaitu wawancara langsung yang dilakukan dengan guru IPA dan sumber data sekunder berasal dari dokumen-dokumen jurnal. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII, dengan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 42 siswa menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi yang telah divalidasi oleh validator. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara guru IPA dan penyebarkan angket kepada 42 siswa. Untuk angket hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan skor akhir senilai 70,4% dalam kategori “tinggi”.

Abstract

Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII. Dengan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 20 siswa menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi yang telah divalidasi oleh validator. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara guru IPA dan penyebaran angket kepada 20 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan skor akhir senilai 65,5% dalam kategori “Tinggi” untuk angket siswa
