ADMA: Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, with Electronic ISSN 27237370 published by Universitas Bumigora. Abstract

Students with disabilities are special students who have equal opportunities to be independent and able to develop themselves. Through learning and increasing creativity and innovation, students with disabilities will be able to compete and contribute to progress and development of self-ability in the community environment. The rapid development of technology requires children to learn from an early age. The first step to foster children's interest in learning about technology is to create technology-based learning media. Therefore community service is carried out with the aim that students with disabilities can learn about technology and can create a work that is used as a medium for learning about technology. The PkM method used is the experimental method. The result of the PkM that has been implemented is that students can enthusiastically learn about technology such as making led circuits and water pump circuits. Six deaf students were able to successfully make LED circuits and water pump circuits for a miniature garden.

Abstract

In the world of beauty service business, the increasingly competitive competition encourages entrepreneurs to improve the quality of their services and products so they can compete in the market. Salon Bricela, a beauty salon specifically for women, offers various types of grooming services to attract consumers. However, with the emergence of many salons and spas in the city of Mataram, Bricela Salon needs to find a different way to promote its products and increase its presence. One of the solutions chosen is to make promotional videos that use cinematic techniques to attract consumer interest. The purpose of this thesis is to make a promotional video that introduces Salon Bricela's Spa care products that are not well known in the wider community. The result of this research is a promotional video using Cinematic Techniques as a Media for Digital Promotion which displays the types of treatments and beauty products used in the Bricela salon. It is hoped that by using this technique, the promotional video for Bricela Salon will become more attractive and easily understood by consumers, so it can increase the existence of Bricela Salon in the city of Mataram.

Abstract

Imitations of officers in analyzing and visualizing data in Tabing Banda Gadang Village Head. Most of these problems are caused by the lack of knowledge and expertise of the apparatus as well as the limited number of computers. The data at the Tabing Banda Gadang Village Head are not stored properly, the data is stored in Excel and there is no technology-assisted data management and data presentation. Implementation method by providing training and mentoring. The training provided is in the form of basic skills in using Python in data visualization. Its activities include training and mentoring Data Visualization and data processing using the Python program at Tabing Banda Gadang Urban Village. The implementation of community service conducted interviews and administered questionnaires to find out the extent to which the trainees understood the use of Python software. The service team explains data visualization accurately and concisely. District employees are assisted in understanding and processing data using this Anaconda Jupyter Python Notebook. District officers find it helpful in their work with the applications taught.

Abstract

Capacity building and development, both in the form of Strengthening Bookkeeping (due to changes in UPK officers, adjustments to existing activities and problems), so that UPK reporting as a form of accountability and transparency to the public can be maintained. Strengthening the capacity of UPK-LKM can also be related to the ability to provide guidance and assistance to community business groups that receive loans, this is so that KSMs as beneficiaries/loans of capital are not only asked to pay in installments but also provide guidance on the business being carried out and fostering existing group cohesiveness. The service method is carried out by first coordinating with the local manager and then carrying out the implementation of the financial management unit. The results of this study hope that they will be able to make their own financial reports when the Cities Without Slums empowerment program is completed. Later they will still be able to report the finances they manage to the community and village government. This training was welcomed by the UPK, they asked that this form of activity be held continuously/sustainably so that they could immediately feel the benefits.

Abstract

Financial management has an important role in the success of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). MSME owners face challenges when improving their business performance due to difficulties in managing their financial resources effectively. One of the factors contributing to this challenge is the mix of their business and personal operating funds. Because of this, a free licensed financial management system start-up called aksyaa.com was developed. Aksyaa.com has features for recording general journals, reporting sales and purchases, and ledgers. Output documents include sales reports, purchases, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and income statements. Aksyaa.com on a web and android basis has been selectively implemented and simulated for several MSMEs as part of community service activities from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mataram. One of the user partners, MSMEs engaged in selling furniture products in the city of Mataram, managed to use the system by inputting transaction data, so that there were 798 transactions recorded within one month. Output documents are consistently aligned with the list of accounts provided in the system, categorized by transaction type, and when testing the system no bugs were detected.

Abstract

The information of technology is important role as a solution to overcome problems in the field of product marketing. The presence of technology as a means of digital marketing today is helping people's needs, how much activity is spent using digital technology to fulfill their daily needs. The participants are required to be able to adjust to the conditions and developments of current transactions. The aim of this PKM program is to socialize technology as a means of product promotion so that the participants in PondokKemuningKecamatanLangsa Lama can increase the number of sales through digital marketing, and participants can adapt to new habits, namely digital marketing. The method used in this PKM uses 3 stages, namely the planning stage, the discussion stage, and the implementation stage. The results of the PKM activities regarding digital marketing socialization to participants in PondokKemuning, KecamatanLangsa Lama, it can be seen from the participants actors who were very enthusiastic about the presentation of digital marketing materials and training. This activity has a positive impact on participans actors, to increase the knowledge and understanding of participant actors about digital product marketing and increase confidence in marketing their products online.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is: to provide counseling, socialization, and understanding of the importance of education for children given to the people of Salut Kendal Hamlet, Salut Village, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency. the socialization activity was a collaboration between the Non-Governmental Organization Selaksa Sejahtera Foundation (YASERA) Mataram and Bumigora University. Participants were residents of Salut Kendal Hamlet, 40 people out of the planned 70 people carried out in one day. The method of implementing this service is the preparation and socialization stage which is packaged in the form of a workshop at the location of the savings for life family meeting. The results of the implementation of Community Service show that the level of understanding of community service participants is more aware of the importance of education for children in efforts to fulfill children's rights and prevent child marriage and to build parents' commitment to send their children at least to high school graduation.

Abstract

Critical thinking has a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of thinking of humans. It is because it has impact on their quality of life. Consequently, encouraging and stimulating students is crucial in schools. This community service activity aims to eliciting the students’ critical thinking through critical reading method. Several steps were conducted in implementing this community service activity namely pretest, critical reading implementation, and posttest. The results of the activity show that critical reading pursue the students to more non-judgmental; therefore, they might be wiser to perceive differences. The students were encouraged to read deeply to the texts and interpret the story both explicitly and implicitly. The interpretation process is correlated by the phenomenon of society. Interpretation in literature works in more flexible that it depends on the knowledge and experiences of the readers. The students respect to the difference through the diversity of the interpretation. This activity is expected to be conducted continuously to drill students’ critical thinking.

Abstract

The objectives of this activity are: to provide an understanding of the assumptive of education in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 towards the era of the industrial revolution 5.0 for children in an effort to prevent early marriage and to build parental commitment to guide and monitor the use of gadgets for children in Dusun Salut Kendal, Desa Salut, Kecamatan Kayangan, North Lombok. This socialization activity is a collaboration between the Mataram Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Selaksa Sejahtera Foundation (YASERA) and Bumigora University. The target of this devotion of people is around the Dusun Salut Kendal amount 40 people out of the planned 70 people which will be carried out in a day. The method of implementing this service is socialization which is the form of a workshop. Methods of socialization delivery of presentation and discussion techniques. The results of the implementation of Community Service show that the level of understanding of participants is more aware of the use of gadgets and the internet in facing the 4.0 industrial revolution era towards the 5.0 industrial revolution era for children in an effort to prevent early marriage.

Abstract

English is a foreign language in Indonesia. Learning English at the elementary school level means equalizing the country’s education quality. English as an international language should be a skill that every student should have. Foreign language learning methods usually used in schools are less effective, where the teacher's role is only to explain without any other actions that can attract students' interest and curiosity in learning. Therefore, teachers must be able to use methods or techniques that are appropriate and more interesting so that elementary school students, who incidentally are children, can enjoy the learning process more and process the content of the material properly. The service team will carry out work programs that can positively impact the teaching-learning environment, namely implementing English for Fun in learning English at the elementary school level. This activity aims to teach elementary school students the importance of learning English from an early age. Apart from that, to introduce them to what English is and how it is used, of course, in the right way. The socialization of learning English at the elementary school level is expected so that students can understand English early and play an active role in the learning process.
