Abstract

The availability of therapeutic drugs for diabetes mellitus is one of the factors that determines the success of diabetes mellitus treatment, thus inventory control management is needed that can guarantee the availability of sufficient, safe, and quality drugs. This study will evaluate the Pareto results of drugs for diabetes mellitus therapy and to evaluate the pharmaceutical inventory management system during 2022-2023 at Ngesti Waluyo Christian Hospital. The study collecting data from the pharmacy information system based of medicine name, consumption amount, and selling price. The cumulative percentage from the use value, used to determine categories ABC. The results of the study showed a decrease in category A from 6 drugs (2022) to 1 drug (2023). Pareto data in 2022 contained 6 A drugs and 3 B drugs which were mostly not included in the first line therapy in the hospital formulary, in Pareto 2023 it changed to category C. Pareto data in 2023 showed 1 A drug and 3 B drugs mostly included in the first line therapy. Management of pharmaceutical preparations is still done manually even though there is a pharmacy information system that records patient treatment, so that several drugs were found to be overstocked and during 2022-2023 there was a shortage of stock and empty supplies for some time. The conclusion is that there is an improvement in drug selection for diabetes mellitus therapy based on the hospital formulary. As shown by Pareto data in 2022, there are 9 drugs on A and B category mostly not included in the first line drugs, down to 4 drugs in 2023 almost all are first-line therapy. Drug inventory management has not been able to utilize data from the pharmacy information system so that there are still excess and shortages of stock during 2022-2023.

Abstract

The fak-fak nutmeg plant (Myristica argentea Warb) is one type of spice plant native to Indonesia originating from fak-fak City. This nutmeg is included in the Myristicaceae family which can have secondary metabolite compounds in the form of alkaloids, tannins, flavonoids, saponins, and phenolics which have biological activity as an anti-inflammatory burn. This study aims to determine the anti-inflammatory activity and concentration of effective preparations. This study used test animals consisting of 15 male white rats which were divided into 5 groups, namely group I negative control (ointment base), group II positive control (bioplacenton) group III ointment extract of nutmeg leaves from fak-fak concentration 2%, group IV ointment extract of nutmeg leaves from fak-fak concentration 6% and group V ointment extract of nutmeg leaves from fak-fak concentration 10%. From the results of the research that has been done, the ointment preparation with 2% extract concentration shows inflammation healing activity against rats with wound shrinkage (0.676), ointment with 6% extract concentration (0.374) and for ointment with 10% extract concentration (0.313) while in the positive group shows inflammation healing activity with wound shrinkage (0.508) and negative group (0.755). From the results obtained, it can be concluded that the ointment preparation of nutmeg leaf extract from fak-fak (Myristica argentea Warb) is effective in healing inflammation, the most effective ointment preparation is an ointment preparation with 10% extract concentration.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in maternal and child health services, especially maternity services at RSIA Rosiva. Quality health services are one of the important aspects in ensuring patient safety and satisfaction, especially for mothers who are about to give birth. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and direct observation in the field. The results of the study show that administratively, SOPs have been prepared and socialized to health workers, but in practice there are still several obstacles. These obstacles include delays in medical treatment, a fairly convoluted administrative process, and a lack of coordination between service units. This shows that even though the SOP already exists, its implementation has not been fully effective and consistent. In addition, the satisfaction of maternity patients with the services provided is still not optimal, as can be seen from complaints related to waiting time and lack of information provided by medical personnel. This study concludes that improving the quality of services can be done by strengthening the implementation of SOPs, improving the competence of health workers through training, and improving the administrative system to be more responsive to patient needs. The results of this study are expected to be input for hospital management in efforts to continuously improve the quality of maternity health services.

This study evaluates the implementation of the financial management pattern of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) of the Jatisari Karawang Regional General Hospital. Every year, the Jatisari Karawang Regional General Hospital can be said to be quite slow in implementing the financial management pattern of the regional public service agency as a guideline for financial management. This has an impact on ineffective Financial Planning, causing the Jatisari Regional Hospital's income to be low because the activities carried out do not provide maximum contribution to revenue and also Inefficiency in Cost Management causes inefficiency in resource management, such as wasteful procurement of goods/services or immature planning, causing operational costs to swell. This study uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) Evaluation model. The evaluation was conducted through interviews with key informants, main informants and additional informants. The results of the study indicate that the main obstacles in implementing the implementation of the financial management pattern of the Regional Public Service Agency at the Jatisari Karawang Regional General Hospital include the lack of trained human resources (HR), Limited competent human resources (HR), regulations that are less synchronized between the central and regional governments, late payment of receivables that can disrupt cash flow.
