Abstract

Waste management in developing countries still uses burning and open dumping methods. Likewise, in the City of Semarang, with an area of 373.7 Km2, 16 Districts, and 177, 1,200 tons of waste are released every day, and 438,000 tons of waste production every year. Regarding the volume of waste, the Head of the Semarang City Environment Service appealed to the people of Semarang City to be able to manage waste and activate the Garbage Bank in the city of Semarang. The research use quantitative methode, the sample of this study was 171 with  multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 21 software. The results of research include there are significant effect between knowledge and attitudes to the engagement of community in the waste bank program. Moreover, there are no significant effect between education level, employment, attitudes, facility and benefit to the engagement of community in the waste bank program. Factors of knowledge, attitudes, education, employment, facilities, and important benefits in the engagement of community in the waste bank.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors affect the performance of employees at the Finance Department of Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all employees of the Finance Section of Unnes, amounting to 75 people. The sampling technique carried out in this study uses probability sampling with a proportional random sampling technique. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula with 63 people. The method of collecting data is the questionnaire method. The data analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The analysis results show that the factors that influence employee performance are employee competence, work discipline, organizational communication, and work facilities. These variables have a significant value of less than 0.05, which is 0.000. For this reason, the four variables proved to affect employee performance significantly. Of the four variables, the organizational communication variable occupies the lowest position, so for employee performance to increase in the Finance section of Unnes, employees are expected to communicate well with superiors or other employees.

Abstract

Retribution functions as a natural source of income for the region, as a budget to finance all daily government needs, and also helps in regional development. If the budget is sufficient, all economic activities can run well. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of building permit fees, cleaning fees, parking fees, motor vehicle inspection fees, and costs of using the regional property on the main regional income. The survey was conducted in 26 provinces/cities in Central Java during the 2019-2021 period. This survey method uses panel data regression and is estimated using Eviews 10. The study shows that the FEM estimate was chosen as the best estimate. Cleaning fees, building permit fees, and some parking fees have a positive impact on local revenues. On the other hand, from 2019 to 2021, in 26 regencies/cities in Central Java, BUMN PPh and PKB Tax have no impact on local revenue

Abstract

This study aims to examine the correlation between entrepreneurship knowledge, family support, and entrepreneurial motivation, and the interest in becoming young entrepreneurs among the alumni of the Faculty of Economics at UKI Toraja. A sample of 51 alumni who have already initiated their own business ventures participated as respondents in this research. This study adopts a quantitative research approach, employing a questionnaire with Likert-scale items for data collection. The data analysis technique utilized in this research is path analysis, with the support of SPSS 26 software and the Sobel Test. Partially, the findings indicate that entrepreneurship knowledge and family support exert a direct and significant impact on entrepreneurial motivation and the interest in becoming young entrepreneurs among the alumni of the Faculty of Economics at UKI Toraja. Entrepreneurial motivation has a direct and significant influence on the interest in becoming young entrepreneurs among the alumni of the Faculty of Economics at UKI Toraja. Entrepreneurship knowledge has an indirect and significant influence on the interest in becoming a young entrepreneur through entrepreneurial motivation among the alumni of the Faculty of Economics at UKI Toraja. Similarly, family support also has an indirect and significant influence on the interest in becoming a young entrepreneur through entrepreneurial motivation among the alumni of the Faculty of Economics at UKI Toraja

Abstract

The existence of parties who have an interest in a tourist destination is vital because of its function as a controller for the diversity and complexity of the tourism industry, including in tourist villages. Therefore, it is necessary to review how far stakeholder involvement is as a form of actualization of an institution in tourist destinations, especially rural tourism. This study uses a qualitative method that is adapted to the concept of descriptive research by collecting data from semi-structured interviews with several related parties. The results of the discussion and discussion indicate that from the case study in the Cibuntu Tourism Village, the implementation of tourism activities is centralized to stakeholders who are key players, namely the Cibuntu Village Government, Pokdarwis, and BUMDES which regulate all policies and programs. Meanwhile, other stakeholders are divided into subject categories, crowd and contest setters whose existence and functionality need to be maximized.

Abstract

The significant roles and functions of community participation in management are a critical basis for the urgency of reviewing the performance of tourism village managers. This study was conducted at the Pandanrejo Tourism Village (Dewa Pandan). Through the performance indicators of tourism village management, it can be studied how these indicators are applied to the Pandanrejo Tourism Village, to find out the strengths, weaknesses, and factors that influence the performance of the Pandanrejo Tourism Village Pokdarwis. The study was carried out descriptively with a qualitative approach. Based on observations, interviews, and secondary data collection, it was found that Dewa Pandan had implemented management performance indicators well. However, there are still weaknesses in institutional performance as well as conservation performance.

Abstract

MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) is the main occupation in Lontong Village, Kupang Krajan Village, Surabaya City. The resulting product is rice cake, which is sold through online and offline marketing. This study aims to determine the application of shariah marketing values ​​to the MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Primary data sources were obtained through interviews with sellers. Secondary data is the people in Kampung Lontong Surabaya. Based on the research results, the sellers in Lontong Subdistrict, Surabaya City, have applied the shariah principles of marketing value through the values ​​of Use A Spiritual Brand Character (Brand), Services Should Have the Ability to Transform (Service), Practice A Reliable Business Process (Process). With the application of Shariah Marketing Values ​​for MSME Lontong (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in the Kupang Krajan Village, Surabaya City, the quality, cleanliness and halalness of the products they sell are guaranteed, they can increase sales through online and offline marketing, the products they sell will continue to grow. Grow so that the profits you get will be even more significant, and also, the demand for this lontong product will increase so that the sellers can be better known in the community.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the important roles in the Indonesian economy. This study aims to find out how the knowledge and readiness of the place that the author examined, namely the Hj. Vera furniture store, in preparing financial statements based on EMKM financial accounting standards (SAK). The research method is by using qualitative methods, which are case studies. Data collection is carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted to identify obstacles that occur in Hj. Vera furniture MSMEs and to prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable financial accounting standards. The results of this study show that MSMEs have problems in preparing financial statements, namely limited thinking about managing financial statements and limited inadequate human resources (HR) in preparing financial statements. Financial statements based on SAK EMKM, namely the statement of financial position, income statement, and notes to financial statements. This research is expected to contribute to MSME actors in Karawang district in order to understand how to prepare financial statements based on SAK EMKM.

Abstract

The purpose of this research conducted at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre I North Sumatra is to determine the effect of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance with employee engagement as an intervening variable. the effect of talent management and knowledge management on employee performance simultaneously and partially, as well as the effect of employee engagement on employee performance in part, and to find out how these factors affect employee engagement. The participants in this study were. By using the census method, which turns the entire population into a sample, this sample can be identified. Data collection used questionnaires, and multiple linear regression and path analysis were used to analyze the results. Talent management has an effect on employee engagement, knowledge management has an effect on employee engagement, talent management and knowledge management have an effect on employee engagement, and talent management and knowledge management have no effect on employee performance, according to the findings of this study. Through employee engagement, talent management has a greater direct impact on employee performance than it does indirectly through talent management. And ast is employee engagement has a smaller indirect impact on employee performance than knowledge management directly affects employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyzeThe Green Construction Model in the Construction Industry to Support a Sustainable Green Economy. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. This research also includes quantitative research that is correlational in nature. The population in this research is the Medan City construction management company. The sample in this research was construction projects in the city of Medan which were taken using a random sampling method with the acquisition of 50 construction projects in the city of Medan. This study consists of independent variables namelygreen constructionwhile the dependent variable isgreeneconomyas well asgreen social workas a moderating variable. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis, variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis (Partial Least Square). The research results show that the implementation of green construction in construction companies in Medan City has an impact of 72.6% on achieving a sustainable green economy. with the involvement of social workers (Green social work) gives an increase of 18.4%. This increase can be achieved due to the various roles carried out by social workers in efforts to preserve the environment as well as with the aim of sustainable social welfare, one of which is as a facilitator, educator, motivator, mediator and initiator in environmental conservation.
