Abstract

This research aims to: (1) produce interactive multimedia learning based on Google Site that is suitable for use in teaching and learning. (2) Produce practical and easy-to-learn interactive multimedia learning based on Google Site. (3) Determine the effectiveness of interactive multimedia based on Google Site. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the ADDIE model. The study was conducted on 10th-grade students of State Islamic Senior High School 1 in Langkat. The method used in this model is Quasi-Experimental. The research sample consisted of 72 students, with 36 students as the experimental group taught using interactive multimedia based on Google Site and 36 students as the control group taught using picture media. The results of the study prove that there is a significant difference between the English learning outcomes of students taught using interactive multimedia based on Google Site and those taught using picture media. This is indicated by the obtained data, where the significance value obtained is 0.003. The significance value (sig) < 0.05, thus is rejected and is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that interactive multimedia based on Google Site is better than picture media.

Abstract

Net profit margin is important to be able to increase company profits. Net profit margin is a comparison that shows the company's net profit on the results of buying and selling, the higher the value of the net profit margin the higher the organization's ability to earn net profit from sales. The purpose of this study is to understand and measure the impact of Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DER) on net profit margin for plastic and packaging sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020-2022. This study used a quantitative approach with a total of 36 research samples. The sample selection technique uses purposive sampling. The test was conducted using multiple regression analysis, research data obtained through financial reports sourced on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Liquidity as measured by CR does not significantly affect net profit margin. While another factor is that leverage measured by DER has a significant positive impact on net profit margin. The limitations of this study are the lack of samples and the low adjusted R square number of 0.439, meaning that the independent variable is only able to describe its effect on the dependent variable as much as 43.9%. Suggestions for future research are to add samples and other variables including (1) company size; (2) sales growth; (3) total asset turnover and so on that can explain the effect on net profit margin.

Entrepreneurship is one of the driving factors in economic development and entrepreneurial ability requires education, both formal and non-formal, to develop individual knowledge and experience in carrying out entrepreneurial activities. This research aims to determine the implications of education for entrepreneurial abilities: formal vs non-formal education through the responses of business actors, as well as the differences in entrepreneurial abilities between individuals who have attended formal education and individuals who have attended non-formal education. This research uses a quantitative research design with case studies in Indonesia. Sample selection using purposive sampling. The data used is primary data (demographic data, attitudes, and views of business actors) and secondary data in the form of sales volume or income from business. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out using the ANOVA test. The research results show that non-formal education has a more significant influence on entrepreneurial abilities compared to formal education. Through direct experience, practical skills, and the flexibility of non-education, it can encourage entrepreneurial abilities and offers opportunities to adapt to the dynamics of the business world which are changing rapidly in line with the needs of the business world which continues to develop. Through non-formal education, we can gain practical skills, direct experience, and readiness to face real business challenges.

Abstract

The incidence of sexual violence is on the rise, impacting both adults and children, posing a significant societal threat. Rooted in power dynamics, this violence extends beyond educational campuses to various societal contexts. This study endeavors to investigate the influence of power dynamics on sexual violence. Utilizing normative legal research techniques and surveys, the study aims to yield insightful conclusions. It is evident that power dynamics often culminate in violent acts. Sexual violence within educational institutions has profound repercussions for both victims and the institutions themselves. Furthermore, power imbalances exacerbate the trauma experienced by victims. Implementing stringent regulations is essential for prosecuting perpetrators of sexual violence. Ultimately, this contributes to enhancing legal awareness regarding power dynamics in the context of sexual violence, fostering a safer environment for all individuals.

Abstract

The study used an experimental method with a quantitative approach. This study has variables (X) namely learning styles, attitudes, and interests and variables (Y) namely learning outcomes in mathematics subjects. This study used a population of all students in the elementary school and one class, namely the experimental class, which was sampled using Purposive Sampling technique. The design used in the one group design, the research subjects were given pre-test and post-test treatment. The data collection technique in this study was a test. And test the instrument by carrying out the validity test and reliability test. The data analysis techniques in this study are using normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results of the F test hypothesis test show that if the sig value <0 and F table, then there is a relationship between variable X and variable Y. If the sig value is greater than 0.05 or F count is greater than F table, then there is no impact of variable X on variable Y. In the F test with a value of 19.131 which is greater than 3.89, we can conclude that the relationship between variable X and variable Y together has an important impact. In addition, with a (sig) value of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05, we can conclude that there is a significant effect of variable X on variable Y simultaneously. Thus, Ha is accepted while Ho is rejected. It can be concluded "there is an influence of learning styles, attitudes, and interests on learning outcomes in mathematics subjects in elementary schools".

Abstract

This study was conducted to understand the effect of word search learning media in Indonesian language learning on learning outcomes of fifth grade students. This research uses an experimental method involving a quantitative approach with the type of Quasi Experimental Design. The variables in this study consisted of independent variables (X), namely learning media looking for words in Indonesian language learning and dependent variables (Y), namely student learning outcomes. The population of this study were all grade V elementary school students with a total of 168 students, and the sample in this study was class V.A with a total of 28 students as an experimental class. Data collection techniques using tests and documentation. The implementation of the research implementation is to conduct an initial test (pretest), carry out treatment, and conduct a final test (posttest). Before using the word search learning media, the completeness rate only reached 71.4%. However, after using the learning media, the completion rate increased to 100%. From the t-test results, the sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 > 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis or Ho is rejected and the alternative hypothesis or Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that "there is a significant effect of learning media looking for words in Indonesian language learning on the learning outcomes of grade V elementary school students".
