Abstract

Physical violence within the domestic sphere remains one of the most prevalent forms of criminal offense, causing significant adverse impacts on victims as well as on family life. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to the occurrence of physical domestic violence and to examine the criminal liability of perpetrators based on Decision Number 329/Pid.Sus/2025/PN.Gns. This research employed both normative juridical and empirical juridical approaches. The data were collected through library research and field research, including interviews with investigators from the Central Lampung Regional Police, public prosecutors at the Central Lampung District Attorney’s Office, and judges of the Gunung Sugih District Court. The data were analyzed using a qualitative juridical method. The results indicate that physical domestic violence is influenced by psychological factors, the family environment, patriarchal culture, as well as social and economic factors that encourage perpetrators to commit acts of violence against victims. The criminal liability of the perpetrator is established based on the fulfillment of the elements of the criminal offense as stipulated in Article 44 paragraph (1) of Law Number 23 of 2004 on the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Based on the facts revealed during the trial, the defendant was legally and convincingly proven guilty of committing physical violence against his wife and was therefore sentenced to imprisonment in accordance with the court's decision. The judgment reflects the application of the principle of criminal liability, which is based on the existence of the perpetrator’s culpability and the fulfillment of lawful evidence in accordance with the Indonesian Code of Criminal Procedure.

Abstract

Performing Loan/NPL) on firm value (Price to Book Value/PBV) in state-owned banks (Bank BUMN) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020–2025. The research is motivated by fluctuations and disparities in firm value among state-owned banks despite operating in a relatively homogeneous sector and regulatory environment, along with inconsistencies in prior studies. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sample comprises five state-owned banks (BBRI, BMRI, BBNI, BBTN, BRIS) over six years (2020–2025), yielding 30 observations from annual reports. Data were analyzed using panel data regression with EViews 13, including model selection (Chow Test, Hausman Test), multicollinearity testing, and hypothesis testing (t-test, F-test, coefficient of determination). Results show the Random Effect Model (REM) as the best-fit model. Partially, CAR has a significant positive effect on firm value, while NPL has no significant effect. Simultaneously, CAR and NPL significantly affect firm value, with an R-squared of 28.52%. These findings support Signaling Theory, whereby high capital adequacy signals financial strength to investors, thereby increasing the bank's market valuation.

Abstract

Quantity Take-Off (QTO) is an essential process in construction projects as it directly influences cost estimation and project planning. Conventional quantity calculation methods often require more time and are prone to errors due to the manual interpretation of construction drawings. This study aims to compare the Quantity Take-Off results obtained using the conventional method and the Building Information Modeling (BIM) approach through Cubicost software in the construction project of SMPN 2 Megaluh. The BIM model was developed based on architectural, structural, and mechanical-electrical drawings using the Take-off for Architecture and Structure (TAS), Take-off for Reinforcement Bar (TRB), and Take-off for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (TME) modules. The quantities generated by Cubicost were then compared with those obtained through conventional calculations. The results indicate that most work categories produced relatively small deviations, demonstrating a good level of agreement between the two methods. The largest deviations in the TAS module were observed in ceiling works (15.93%) and earthworks (15.71%), while several work categories produced identical results. Quantity differences in the TRB and TME modules were generally influenced by modeling details, drawing interpretation, and calculation procedures. Overall, the BIM-based approach using Cubicost proved to be more efficient, integrated, and consistent in generating Quantity Take-Off data, making it a reliable alternative to conventional methods for construction quantity estimation.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the healthcare sector has driven the adoption of a cashless payment system through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) to improve administrative efficiency and service quality. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of QRIS implementation as a digital payment method at Eye Clinic X Surabaya and identify factors that support and hinder its implementation. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Informants were purposively selected, consisting of one financial manager, four cashiers, and five QRIS patient users. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis assisted by NVivo 14 software. The results showed that QRIS implementation was able to improve the effectiveness of administrative services through faster, easier, more accurate, and more efficient transaction processes. The use of QRIS also helped reduce queues, simplify transaction recording, and increase patient convenience in making payments. However, implementation still faces several obstacles, including internet network instability, delays in transaction notifications, low digital literacy among some elderly patients, and suboptimal standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training for staff. Based on Campbell's effectiveness framework, QRIS implementation has met most of the organizational effectiveness indicators, although further strengthening of technological infrastructure, improving human resource competency, and organizational support are still needed for sustainable digital transformation. This research contributes to enriching the study of digital payment implementation in healthcare facilities, particularly at the clinic level, as a basis for developing policies and strategies for digital healthcare services in Indonesia.
