Abstract

thesis entitled "The Influence of Education Quality, Education Costs and Location on Student Satisfaction at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School" is the result of quantitative research which aims to answer questions about the influence of education quality, education costs and location on student satisfaction at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School. The research methodology used is quantitative research using a sampling technique using simple probability sampling with a total of 85 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire processed using SPSS version 25. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. Based on partial research results, the variable quality of education has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 3,638 > t table 1,664 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, education costs has no significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 0.652 < t table 1,664 and a significant value of 0.516 < 0.05 and location has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 2,599 > t table 1,664 and a significant value of 0.011 < 0.05 at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School. And simultaneously shows that the variables of education quality, education costs and location have a significant and positive effect on student satisfaction with a calculated f value of 62,852 > f table 2.72 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes on the topic of fractions through the implementation of the cooperative learning model, Jigsaw type. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in a 4th-grade elementary class consisting of 16 students. The study was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and field notes. The results showed an improvement in students' learning outcomes. In cycle I, 9 students (56.25%) achieved learning mastery with an average class score of 72. In cycle II, the number of students who achieved mastery increased to 13 students (81.25%) with an average class score of 85. This improvement indicates that the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model is effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes on the topic of fractions. This study recommends the application of the cooperative learning model as an alternative teaching strategy to improve students' learning outcomes, especially on topics that require a deep understanding of concepts, such as fractions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran orang tua sebagai pendidik, pengasuh, dan penanggung jawab dalam membentuk sikap tanggung jawab anak usia 5-6 tahun. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua memiliki tiga peran utama: (1) sebagai pendidik, melalui pembelajaran nilai-nilai tanggung jawab, (2) sebagai pengasuh, dengan memberikan perhatian dan bimbingan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, serta (3) sebagai penanggung jawab, memastikan anak memahami konsekuensi dan pentingnya peran tanggung jawab dalam kehidupan.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the problems which were found by the researcher at the seventh grade of SMPN 1 Ampek Angkek. First, teacher difficulties in understanding and creating syllabus. Second, teacher difficulties challenges in comprehending the content of the new textbooks merdeka curriculum. Third, the delayed arrival of books at school leads teacher to use the previous curriculum books, eventhough the merdeka curriculum has been implemented in the school. The study aims to determine how teacher the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum in class and to find the teacher’s problem during the implementationn of the merdeka curriculum in English subject at seventh grade of SMPN 1 Ampek Angkek.This research was Descriptive Qualitative research. The instruments of this research were observation checklists and interviews. The informant of this research was teacher who taught at the seventh grade in SMPN 1 Ampek Angkek. The data were obtained from two class observation in four meeting from seventh grade and interview with English teacher. To analyzed the data, researcher used the theory of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results of the research show that the implementation of the merdeka curriculum learning includes planning learning by identifying the availability of effective weeks, analyzing allocated learning outcomes to effective weeks, determining learning objectives and learning objective flow, and formulating teaching modules. The problem faced by Planning include difficulties in creating teaching modules, implementation challenges involve applying teaching strategies, evaluation challenges students learning outcomes remain low even though the material has been studied repeatedly.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan dalam organisasi pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan suatu lembaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalis konsep kepemimpinan, terkhususnya gaya kepemimpinan, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya serta pengambilan keputusan dalam konteks pendidikan. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka, dimana data yang diperoleh dari berbagai literature seperti jurnal, dan buku yang terkait topic pembahasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang efektif memerlukan pemahaman mendalam tentang gaya kepemimpinan, faktor pendukung, serta kemampuan pengambilan keputusan. Dengan menerapkan pendekatan kepemimpinan yang tepat, organisasi pendidikan dapat mencapai tujuannya secara optimal dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pemimpin pendidikan dalam mengembangkan strategi kepemimpinan yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the application of the Merdeka Curriculum through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in making tumpeng to increase student creativity in the production process material in class X SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta. The independent curriculum focuses on student-centered learning. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, documentation and interviews. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The object of this research is student creativity in production process material in class X SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta for the 2024/2025 academic year with a total of 286 students. The results of this research show that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model increases student creativity through making tumpeng in the production process material in class X SMA Negeri 4 Surakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejauh mana model pembelajaran Discovery Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada program Language and Cultural Exchange (LCE). Model discovery learning yang mengutamakan keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses belajar melalui eksplorasi dan penemuan mandiri, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman bahasa dan budaya secara lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus yang melibatkan peserta program LCE. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning mampu meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa peserta, khususnya dalam aspek berbicara dan mendengarkan, serta memperkaya pemahaman mereka tentang budaya. Selain itu, model ini juga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi intrinsik peserta melalui pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Discovery Learning merupakan pendekatan yang sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada program LCE, dengan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih relevan dan menyenangkan bagi peserta.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high interest and attendance of students in participating in the implementation of learning activities at the Abituren Mustafawiyah Family Tutoring Studio. This study aims to determine the implementation of Non-Formal Education learning activities at the Mustafawiyah Abituren Family Tutoring Studio Malaysia. Qualitative research approach with case study research type. Case studies are conducted to be carried out intensively, in detail and in depth on the implementation of learning activities at the Abituren Mustafawiyah Family Family Guidance Studio . The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation obtained from the community at the Abituren Mustafawiyah Family Tutoring Studio. Data were analyzed by reducing relevant data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of learning activities at the Abituren Mustafawiyah Family Family Tutoring Studio runs well by using game methods such as playing characters and utilizing learning media, especially audio-visual media.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of the SPADA UNPRI platform on student engagement in English classes at Universitas Prima Indonesia. The objectives are to analyze the platform’s effectiveness in fostering cognitive, emotional, and behavioral engagement and to identify factors influencing its implementation. This research uses a mixed-methods approach, the research uses a sequential explanatory design, beginning with quantitative data collection through surveys from 100–150 students, followed by qualitative data from interviews and focus group discussions involving 10–15 participants. The findings reveal that SPADA UNPRI significantly enhances cognitive engagement, with 78% of students reporting an improved understanding of English materials. Emotional engagement is also supported, as 65% found quizzes and interactive features motivating. Behavioral engagement is evident, with 72% of students actively participating in forums. However, challenges such as limited internet connectivity and insufficiently structured social interactions were noted. The study recommends enhancing technical infrastructure to ensure equitable access and incorporating more collaborative activities to strengthen relatedness among learners. By addressing these areas, SPADA UNPRI can further its role as an effective tool for improving student engagement and achieving meaningful learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Teaching Factory-based learning method on students' understanding in the Industrial Chemistry course. The Teaching Factory method is a learning approach that integrates industrial practical experience with the theory taught in class, allowing students to acquire skills relevant to the workforce. This study uses an experimental design with two groups: the experimental group, which follows the Teaching Factory-based learning method, and the control group, which follows the conventional learning method. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure students' understanding. The results show that the experimental group, which followed the Teaching Factory method, experienced a significant improvement in understanding, with an average difference in pre-test and post-test scores of 19.80 (p-value = 0.000), while the control group only showed a small improvement with a score difference of 5.85 (p-value = 0.020). Practical observation indicated that students in the experimental group were more skilled in performing industrial process simulations compared to the control group. Additionally, the results of the questionnaire showed higher satisfaction levels in the experimental group (average score of 4.2) compared to the control group (average score of 3.4). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Teaching Factory-based learning method has a positive and significant impact on improving students' understanding in the Industrial Chemistry course and the practical skills relevant to the industrial world. This study recommends implementing this method more widely in higher education, especially in courses directly related to industrial processes.
