Abstract

The development of Indonesian language teaching materials requires the application of technology to make it easier for students to receive lessons. This research analyzes the need to develop teaching materials for Indonesian listening skills for foreign speakers (BIPA). The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by filling out questionnaires by 10 BIPA teachers from various institutions and observing relevant teaching manuals. The analysis results show that most respondents have taught BIPA for over five years and use audio and video media in listening learning. They stated that they needed interactive listening media and used materials from the institutions where they taught more often, even though they found several areas for improvement in the quality and suitability of the materials. Most respondents also expressed their readiness to be contacted further regarding this research. Data analysis also revealed respondents' preferences for using digital-based media to learn to listen to BIPA, with most respondents using platforms such as YouTube and Zoom Meet. These findings provide in-depth insight into teachers' preferences and needs in developing BIPA listening teaching materials and the importance of adapting learning materials to students' needs.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka aims to elevate the educational standards in Indonesia, with its success hinging on educators' preparedness. This curriculum challenges teachers, particularly at the elementary school level. The study assesses teachers' readiness to understand and implement Kurikulum Merdeka using a qualitative approach involving interviews, observation, and literature review. Respondents were from six Sekolah Penggerak in East Jakarta, selected purposively. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques. Findings indicate several factors influencing teacher readiness: comprehension of Kurikulum Merdeka’s concepts and principles, ability to design and conduct learner-centered learning, and support from schools and relevant agencies. The study suggests recommendations to enhance teachers' qualifications and readiness, including teacher training and professional development, improving school infrastructure, and fostering collaboration between schools and other relevant parties to support curriculum implementation. These research outcomes are expected to significantly contribute to improving the quality of education in Indonesia within the framework of Kurikulum Merdeka. AbstrakKurikulum Merdeka bertujuan meningkatkan standar pendidikan di Indonesia. Adapun keberhasilan pelaksanaan kurikulum ini bergantung pada persiapan para pendidik. Kurikulum Merdeka menjadi tantangan yang harus dihadapi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesiapan para guru dalam memahami serta menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama di jenjang sekolah dasar. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan penelaahan literatur. Responden penelitian terdiri dari enam Sekolah Penggerak di Jakarta Timur, yang dipilih secara purposif. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menyoroti beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi kesiapan guru dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Faktor-faktor ini mencakup pemahaman tentang konsep dan prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka, kemampuan dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, serta dukungan dari pihak sekolah dan instansi terkait lainnya. Implikasi dari penelitian ini meliputi sejumlah rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan kualifikasi dan kesiapan para guru. Rekomendasi tersebut termasuk pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional guru, perbaikan infrastruktur pendukung di sekolah, serta pembangunan kerja sama antara sekolah dan berbagai pihak terkait lainnya dalam mendukung pelaksanaan Kurikulum Merdeka. Abstract

Clinical supervision is a systematic approach to mentoring professional teachers. This research aims to improve teachers' pedagogical competence at Bintang Laut Telukdalam Private Middle School through the implementation of clinical supervision with a collaborative approach by the school principal. This type of research is school action research. This research used the Kemmis and Tagart model, which is carried out in 4 stages: planning, implementation or action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used by the researcher are interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The results of the research show that the implementation of clinical supervision with a collaborative approach by the principal can increase the pedagogical competence of teachers at Bintang Laut Telukdalam Private Middle School, which can be proven by increasing the average teacher pedagogical competency score, namely: before providing clinical supervision the average competency score teacher pedagogy was 63, after providing clinical supervision it increased to 78 in cycle I and 81 in cycle II which was above the specified success criteria, namely 75. From these results, it can be concluded that implementing clinical supervision with a collaborative approach can increase teachers' pedagogy competency at Bintang Laut Telukdalam Private Middle School. AbstrakSupervisi klinis adalah suatu pendekatan yang sistematis dalam pembinaan profesional guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Swasta Bintang Laut Telukdalam melalui penerapan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif oleh kepala sekolah. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Kemmis dan Tagart yang merupakan sebuah model penelitian yang dilakukan dengan 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan atau tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif oleh kepala sekolah dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Swasta Bintang Laut Telukdalam yang dapat dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai kompetensi pedagogik guru yaitu: sebelum pemeberian tindakan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif rata-rata nilai kompetensi pedagogik guru 63, setelah pemberian tindakan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif meningkat menjadi 78 pada siklus I dan 81 pada siklus II yang berada di atas kriteria keberhasilan yang ditentukan yaitu 75. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi klinis dengan pendekatan kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMP Swasta Bintang Laut Telukdalam.Kata Kunci: kompetensi pedagogik guru; pendekatan kolaboratif; supervisi klinis

Abstract

The development of digital module in Planning and Installation of Audio Systems Subject for grade XI at SMKN 10 Makassar aims: (1) to discover the description of the needs for digital module for planning and installation audio system subject at SMKN Negeri Makassar, (2) to design the product of digital module in planning and installation of audio system at SMKN 10 Makassar, and (3) to measure the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of digital module for planning and installation of audio system at SMKN 10 Makassar. This study is a Research and Development (R and D) type of research, using the development model ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, and (5) evaluation. The number of test subjects was two validators, subject teachers, and class IX students at SMK Negeri 10 Makassar. This research shows that the student's needs are met with the required qualifications. Digital modules are developed according to the needs of students and teachers using Canva and Microsoft. The results of expert validation, teacher responses, limited trials, and small group trials, as well as evaluation of student learning outcomes, are in the very good category, indicating that the digital module for planning and installing audio systems is declared valid and practical (easy to use) and effectively used in the learning process. AbstrakPengembangan modul digital pada Mata Pelajaran Perencanaan dan Instalasi Sistem Audio untuk kelas XI di SMK Negeri 10 Makassar bertujuan yaitu untuk: (1) mengetahui gambaran kebutuhan modul digital perencanaan dan instalasi sistem audio di SMK Negeri 10 Makassar, (2) mendesain produk modul digital perencanaan dan instalasi sistem audio di SMK Negeri 10 Makassar, (3) mengukur tingkat validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektifitas modul digital perencanaan dan instalasi sistem audio di SMK Negeri 10 Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis Research and Development (R and D) menggunakan model ADDIE terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu: (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. Jumlah subjek uji coba yaitu 2 validator, guru mata pelajaran, dan peserta didik kelas IX SMK Negeri 10 Makassar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan tingkat kebutuhan peserta didik berada pada kualifikasi dibutuhkan. Modul digital dikembangkan sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik dan guru dengan menggunakan canva dan Microsoft. Hasil validasi ahli, tanggapan guru, uji coba terbatas, dan uji coba kelompok kecil, serta evaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik berada pada kategori sangat baik sehingga menunjukkan bahwa modul digital perencanaan dan instalasi sistem audio dinyatakan valid dan praktis (mudah digunakan) dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: kreativitas dalam pembelajaran; modul digital; perencanaan dan instalasi sistem audio

Abstract

The Mathematics Learning Grade IV at SD Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu has yet to reach the indicators. Ideally, learning mastery occurs when 76% of students score above the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). This study aims to determine the differences in students' learning outcomes and motivation through teaching using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) and discovery learning models. This quasi-experimental study involved two Grade IV-B and IV-A classes as the research sample. The research instruments used were tests and a motivation questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using t-test and N-Gain analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that students' learning outcomes using the CTL model were higher than those using the discovery learning model. The learning motivation of students in the CTL model class was higher than in the discovery learning model class. Based on the research, the CTL model can improve students' learning outcomes and motivation. AbstrakPembelajaran Matematika di kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Syamtalira Bayu belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Ketuntasan belajar idealnya terjadi apabila 76% dari keseluruhan peserta didik dikatakan tuntas atau mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar siswa melalui pengajaran dengan model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dan model discovery learning. Mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran CTL dan model discovery learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperiment). Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 kelas dari siswa kelas IV-B dan IV-A. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket motivasi belajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik uji-t dan N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh hasil belajar siswa dengan model CTL lebih tinggi dari model discovery learning. Motivasi belajar siswa pada kelas model CTL lebih tinggi dari kelas model Discovery Learning. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model CTL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Hasil belajar, motivasi belajar, model CTL, model discovery learning

Abstract

Elevating pupils' self-assurance can enhance their cognitive capacities, making it a pivotal element in acquiring knowledge. This research aims to ascertain the degree of self-assurance exhibited by undergraduate students specializing in educational technology in their educational communication courses. There were a total of 68 responders, which is similar to the combined number of students in two educational communication learning classes. The research employed a quantitative methodology. The data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. The findings of this study revealed that the level of student self-confidence was classified as suitable for five students (7 percent), good for nine students (13 percent), quite good for 39 students (57 percent), poor for ten students (15 percent), and very poor for five students (7 percent). Therefore, it may be inferred that the variable of student self-confidence falls within the category of being rather satisfactory. It is suggested that developing interactive learning approaches that promote active student engagement is important to enhance their trust in educational communication. AbstrakMeningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa dapat meningkatkan kapasitas kognitif mereka, menjadikannya elemen penting dalam proses memperoleh pengetahuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kepercayaan diri yang ditunjukkan oleh mahasiswa sarjana teknologi pendidikan dalam mata kuliah komunikasi pendidikannya. Sebanyak 68 responden, termasuk seluruh mahasiswa dari dua kelas pada pembelajaran komunikasi pendidikan, yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metodologi kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner skala likert sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa tergolong baik sebanyak 5 mahasiswa (7 persen), menunjukan tingkat kepercayaan diri baik sebanyak 9 mahasiswa (13 persen), memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri cukup baik sebanyak 39 mahasiswa (57 persen), kurang baik sebanyak 10 mahasiswa (15 persen), dan sangat kurang sebanyak 5 mahasiswa (7 persen) memiliki tingkat kepercayaan diri yang sangat buruk. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kepercayaan diri mahasiswa termasuk dalam kategori cukup memuaskan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar pengembangan pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif yang mendorong keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa, karena hal ini dianggap penting untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan mereka dalam komunikasi pendidikan. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan untuk menggali faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kepercayaan diri mahasiswa secara lebih rinci.Kata Kunci: kepercayaan diri; kelas terbalik; komunikasi pendidikan

Abstract

The availability of fertilizer is also a problem experienced by several regions in Indonesia, such as Mrayan Village and Baosan Lor Village, Ponorogo. This availability results in less than optimal quality and quantity of existing harvests. Several stakeholders directed the Association of Farmer Groups (Gapoktan) to optimize existing harvests. This research examines collaboration between relevant stakeholders such as the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Tourism, Perhutani, Extension, and LMDH in overcoming existing problems. One of the efforts is processing household organic waste into eco enzymes or alternative fertilizers that can be used when fertilizer availability is limited. This management requires stakeholders to guide and direct Gapoktan and Gapoktan Perempuan in managing waste and converting it into alternative fertilizers. Based on the program already running, creating a training module that the community can use to continue managing organic waste is necessary. The research was conducted using soft system methodology with the results of a farmer organization governance model through community empowerment. The results show stakeholders' role in providing guidance and direction to farmers through counseling by separating organic and inorganic waste and then processing it into eco enzymes that can be used as alternative fertilizer. Through this research, it is hoped that waste can be processed into alternative fertilizer, but its management requires extension workers and local community leaders. AbstrakKetersediaan pupuk turut menjadi problematika yang dialami oleh beberapa daerah di Indonesia, seperti Desa Mrayan dan Desa Baosan Lor, Ponorogo. Ketersediaan ini menyebabkan kurang optimalnya hasil kualitas dan kuantitas hasil panen yang ada. Menyikapi hal tersebut, beberapa stakeholders mengarahkan Gabungan Kelompok Tani (Gapoktan) untuk mengoptimalkan hasil panen yang ada. Penelitian ini mengkaji kerjasama antara stakeholders terkait seperti Dinas Pertanian, Dinas Pariwisata, Perhutani, Penyuluh hingga LMDH dalam mengatasi problematika yang ada, salah satu upaya yang dilakukan ialah pengolahan sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi eco enzym atau pupuk alternatif yang dapat digunakan dikala ketersediaan pupuk sedang terbatas. Pengelolaan ini membutuhkan peran dari stakeholders untuk membimbing dan mengarahkan Gapoktan dan Gapoktan Wanita dalam mengelola sampah menjadi pupuk alternatif. Adapun berdasarkan program yang telah berjalan, perlu dibuat suatu modul pelatihan yang dapat digunakan masyarakat untuk melanjutkan pengelolaan sampak organik. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode soft system methodology dengan hasil berupa model tata kelola organisasi petani melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat. Hasil yang didapat, adanya peran dari stakeholders dalam memberikan bimbingan dan arahan kepada para petani melalui penyuluhan dengan memisahkan sampah organik dan anorganik untuk kemudian diolah menjadi eco enzym yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pupuk alternatif. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan sampah dapat diolah menjadi pupuk alternatif, namun dalam pengelolaannya dibutuhkan adanya peran dari penyuluh dan tokoh masyarakat setempat.Kata Kunci: modul pengembangan masyarakat; model tata kelola; stakeholders

Abstract

Ghana's schools face a severe teacher retention crisis, with only 36 percent of teachers in a district survey planning to stay in their roles. Researchers conducted a comprehensive survey of 138 teachers to investigate their reasons for wanting to leave the profession. Common themes emerged, including low pay, poor working conditions, and overwhelming workloads. Additionally, concerns about teacher well-being and the declining status of the teaching profession were highlighted as significant issues. The study sought to identify strategies to keep teachers engaged, employing a theory about employee turnover to guide the analysis. Researchers carefully examined the survey responses and pinpointed key strategies to address the crisis. These included reducing teacher workloads, improving working conditions, and enhancing the prestige and status of the teaching profession. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers seeking effective solutions to Ghana's teacher retention problems. The findings underscore the urgent need to address the factors driving teachers away and implement strategies to maintain a stable, motivated, and highly skilled teaching workforce, which is crucial for advancing Ghana's educational system. AbstrakSekolah-sekolah di Ghana sedang menghadapi krisis retensi guru yang parah, dengan hanya 36 persen guru dalam survei distrik yang berencana untuk tetap menjabat. Peneliti melakukan survei komprehensif terhadap 138 guru untuk mendalami alasan mereka ingin meninggalkan profesinya. Tema-tema umum muncul, termasuk gaji rendah, kondisi kerja yang buruk, dan beban kerja yang sangat berat. Selain itu, kekhawatiran mengenai kesejahteraan guru dan menurunnya status profesi guru juga disoroti sebagai permasalahan yang signifikan. Studi ini berusaha mengidentifikasi strategi untuk menjaga keterlibatan guru, dengan menggunakan teori tentang pergantian karyawan untuk memandu analisis. Melalui pemeriksaan yang cermat terhadap respons survei, para peneliti menunjukkan strategi utama untuk mengatasi krisis ini. Hal ini termasuk mengurangi beban kerja guru, memperbaiki kondisi kerja, dan meningkatkan prestise dan status profesi guru. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi para pembuat kebijakan yang mencari solusi efektif terhadap masalah retensi guru di Ghana. Abstract

The limitations in short story writing skills in Indonesian language learning include students' compositions being too short, their ideas or concepts not being well-developed, limited vocabulary to string together their ideas, difficulties in organizing sentences, and lack of direction in their writing forms. Therefore, guidelines are needed to gather ideas and arrange them into coherent and cohesive paragraphs, thus improving students' writing skills. By enhancing writing skills, students can think creatively, communicate with readers, and deepen their understanding. This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of short story writing teaching materials in the form of a website that has been developed. This research is developmental research using the ADDIE development model with the research subjects being fourth-grade students at UPT SDN 060866 Medan. The research instruments used are validation questionnaires and response questionnaires. The results of the validity test by material experts showed a percentage of 94.59% with the conclusion of being in the "very valid" category. The average percentage of teacher responses to the practicality of the website-based teaching materials reached 86.11%, and the percentage of student responses was 85.88%. These results indicate that the quality of the media can be categorized as "Very Practical." Thus, it can be stated that the website-based teaching materials developed meet the criteria of being very valid and very practical and can be used and implemented in elementary school learning activities.

Abstract

The teaching materials used do not facilitate students' metacognitive skills, causing students' metacognitive skills to be low. The research aims to produce products in the form of valid, practical, and effective learning modules on the metacognitive skills of grade V students. Teaching materials are developed using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. This research developed Mathematics teaching materials with PBL models for grade V elementary school students. The subjects of this study were grade V students of SD Negeri 060874 Medan, which consisted of 27 students. Teaching materials that have been developed meet the validity criteria shown by using validation sheets on aspects of material, language, and design, with each aspect with very valid categories. The teaching materials developed also meet the practical criteria indicated by the questionnaire response given to students after the application of teaching materials with the criteria obtained is very practical. Furthermore, the teaching materials developed also meet the effective criteria, this is shown from the results of the comparison of Pre-test and Post-test tested with N-Gain with the acquisition of N-Gain scores, metacognitive skill questionnaires, and student learning outcomes with moderate categories with effective criteria. AbstrakBahan ajar yang digunakan kurang memfasilitasi keterampilan metakognitif siswa sehingga menyebabkan keterampilan metakognitif siswa rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menghasilkan produk berupa modul pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efektif terhadap keterampilan metakognitif siswa kelas V. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (RD). Bahan ajar dikembangkan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini mengembangkan bahan ajar Matematika dengan model PBL untuk siswa kelas V siswa Sekolah Dasar. Subjek penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 060874 Medan yang terdiri dari 27 siswa. Bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria kevalidan yang ditunjukkan dengan menggunakan lembar validasi pada aspek materi, Bahasa dan desain dengan masing-masing aspek dengan kategori sangat valid. Bahan ajar yang dikembangkan juga memenuhi kriteria praktis yang ditunjukkan dengan angket respons yang diberikan kepada siswa setelah penerapan bahan ajar dengan kriteria yang diperoleh adalah sangat praktis. Dan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan juga memenuhi kriteria efektif hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil perbandingan Pre-test dan Post-test yang diuji dengan N-Gain dengan perolehan skor N-Gain angket keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar siswa dengan kategori sedang dengan kriteria efektif.Kata Kunci: bahan ajar; keterampilan metakognitif; Matematika; PBL
