Abstract

This study aims to find out how Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), minimum wage, and poverty rate affect the unemployment rate in Central Java during the period 2021-2023. Using secondary data from 35 regencies / cities. The most appropriate analysis method used is the random effect model (REM).The results show that GRDP has a significant negative effect on unemployment, on the other hand, the minimum wage shows a significant positive effect, although there are indications that the poverty rate can affect unemployment, the effect is not significant. Overall, the independent variables explain the unemployment rate by 79.7%. These findings emphasize the importance of GRDP and minimum wage policy in the effort to reduce unemployment in Central Java, providing valuable insights for policy makers in formulating more effective strategies to address unemployment problems.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economic growth, contributing significantly to GDP and employment. Despite their potential, MSMEs in rural West Java face challenges such as limited market access, inadequate entrepreneurial capacity, and insufficient infrastructure. This study examines the rural entrepreneurial ecosystem and proposes a business incubation model focused on stimulation, support, and sustainability to enhance MSME growth. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with MSME operators, Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) managers, and local government representatives. Thematic analysis identified key barriers, including a subsistence-oriented mindset, limited financial access, and weak institutional support. To address these challenges, this research proposes a tailored business incubation framework emphasizing entrepreneurial mindset development, mentorship, financial literacy, and infrastructure support. The model also integrates strategies for innovation, market expansion, and stakeholder collaboration. This study contributes to understanding rural entrepreneurial ecosystems and provides practical recommendations for policymakers and stakeholders to support sustainable MSME development in West Java.

Abstract

Mediators can help both employers and workers understand each other's positions and find a fair compromise in accordance with legal provisions. The issues addressed in this study are: 1) What is the role of Industrial Relations Mediators in resolving disputes related to the termination of employment (PHK) between employers and fixed-term workers (PKWT) not registered with the Manpower Office in Palembang?; and 2) What are the legal consequences of termination of employment (PHK) for PKWT workers who are not registered with the Manpower Office in Palembang? This research is a normative-empirical study based on primary data (field research findings) and secondary data (literature sources). The study results show that: 1) The role of Industrial Relations Mediators in resolving PHK disputes between employers and PKWT workers who are not registered with the Manpower Office in Palembang can be viewed from three perspectives: first, the normative role, where the mediator enforces existing legal norms; second, the ideal role, where the mediator seeks to resolve disputes in a fair and ideal manner; and third, the factual role, where the mediator adapts solutions to the actual conditions in the field. In this context, mediators play a crucial role in ensuring justice for workers and ensuring that employers understand the importance of registering contracts to avoid future issues; 2) The legal consequences of PHK for PKWT workers not registered with the Manpower Office in Palembang include: first, unclear legal status regarding the employment relationship, which can make it difficult to prove workers' rights, potentially rendering the PKWT contract void by law; second, harm to workers, as they do not receive optimal legal protection; third, sanctions for employers, who may face administrative penalties; and fourth, unlawful PHK procedures, where workers are entitled to claim their rights through legal channels.

Abstract

This study examines the strategies employed by market players in monopoly and oligopoly systems and their impact on business competition dynamics. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that in monopolies, market players leverage dominance to control prices and resources, whereas in oligopolies, collaborative and selective competition strategies are adopted to maintain market stability. These strategies significantly affect innovation challenges, market access inequality, and the need for effective regulatory policies. This research provides recommendations to enhance market balance and consumer protection through strengthened regulation and policy monitoring.

Abstract

The problem of narcotics in Indonesia is currently a challenge for all levels of society, not only for law enforcers in terms of the police to prevent drug abuse but also a challenge for all parents in Indonesia so that their children are not involved in drug abuse, because the number of drug abuse in Indonesia always increases from year to year, as in decision Number 500 / Pid.Sus / 2024 / PN Plg. So the problem is what are the judge's considerations in passing his verdict using alternative charges against drug intermediaries in verdict Number 500/Pid.Sus/2024/PN Plg? Then what are the sanctions against drug intermediaries in Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics? Abstract

Information Systems (IS) and Industrial Resource Planning (IRP) play a critical role in the optimization and management of industrial operations in today's fast-paced and technology-driven environment. Information Systems encompass a range of technologies and practices designed to collect, store, process, and distribute information within an organization, facilitating decision-making and process automation. Industrial Resource Planning, on the other hand, is an integrated approach to managing the resources required in manufacturing processes, including raw materials, human resources, machinery, and financial assets. The primary objective of IRP is to ensure that industrial operations are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively, with minimal waste and maximum productivity. The integration of IS and IRP allows organizations to better track resources, improve production schedules, and enhance supply chain management. By utilizing data analytics and advanced information technologies, companies can predict demand fluctuations, optimize inventory management, and reduce downtime. Furthermore, IS and IRP systems often incorporate real-time monitoring tools, enabling managers to make informed decisions based on up-to-date information about the production process. This leads to improved overall performance and the ability to respond to challenges quickly and effectively. An essential component of IRP is its ability to forecast and plan for future resource needs based on historical data and industry trends. By leveraging IS tools, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, manufacturers can automate their resource allocation and streamline production processes. The alignment of IS and IRP contributes to achieving sustainability goals, as resource utilization can be carefully monitored and adjusted to minimize environmental impact. As industries continue to evolve with the advent of Industry 4.0 technologies, the role of IS and IRP systems will only grow in significance, shaping the future of manufacturing and industrial operations. The paper highlights the importance of these systems in modern industrial settings and explores their impact on operational efficiency, resource management, and strategic decision-making..
