This study aims to evaluate the development of Bukit Kandis tourist destination located in Durian Demang Village, Central Bengkulu Regency. The evaluation focuses on three main aspects: infrastructure, socio-economic impact on the local community, and environmental-cultural sustainability. A qualitative descriptive method was applied, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving members of the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) and surrounding residents. The findings reveal that the development of Bukit Kandis tourism site has had a positive effect on increasing local income and creating new employment opportunities. Economic activities such as food stalls, parking services, and recreational facility rentals have grown significantly. However, several challenges remain, including inadequate tourism service training, limited supporting infrastructure, and insufficient promotional efforts. Continuous support from the local government and multi-stakeholder collaboration is required to ensure the site's sustainability. The study concludes that community-based participatory management is the key to successful and sustainable rural tourism development.

This study used a quantitative method, with a population of all employees of PT Ganendra Wijaya in Lampung Province totaling 148 people. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, where all members of the population were used as respondents in this study. Data collected through observation and questionnaires were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis tests. The results of the validity test showed that all statement items were declared valid, while the reliability test indicated that all variables had reliable properties. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that work discipline (X1) had a positive effect on employee performance (Y) with a regression coefficient of 0.658, while work motivation (X2) also had a positive effect with a coefficient of 0.305. The coefficient of determination test (R2) revealed that 85.2% of the variation in employee performance could be explained by work discipline and work motivation. the results of the hypothesis test show that both work discipline and work motivation have a significant influence on employee performance, with a significant value of 0.001. This study emphasizes the importance of work discipline and work motivation in improving employee performance at PT Ganendra Wijaya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the influence of principal leadership on student achievement in talent-based sports schools, emphasizing the framework of transformational leadership. The primary focus is to determine how the principal’s role contributes to creating a supportive learning environment, fostering students' intrinsic motivation, and cultivating a sustainable culture of excellence. A quantitative approach was employed using a simple linear regression model, supported by qualitative data from students’ open-ended responses. The findings revealed a significant impact of the principal’s role on student performance, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.58 and a t-statistic value of 8.143 (p 0.05). This indicates that 58% of the variance in student achievement is attributable to the principal's leadership, while the remaining 42% is influenced by other factors such as training quality, parental involvement, and individual student conditions. Qualitative insights reinforce the statistical results, showing that students perceive the principal’s emotional support, personal attention, and active involvement in training and competitions as highly impactful. The principal is viewed not merely as an administrator, but as a motivator, facilitator, and central figure in the development of student achievement. The study underscores the importance of strengthening leadership competencies, especially in interpersonal communication, motivation strategies, and the cultivation of adaptive school environments. This research offers both practical and theoretical contributions to the development of effective educational leadership models in talent-based schools.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the aviation industry also presents significant challenges regarding environmental impact. In Indonesia, airports are facing pressure to reduce their carbon footprint and improve overall sustainability. This research aims to provide a clear picture of the policies and challenges of implementing sustainable airports in Indonesia. A systematic literature review was carried out using PRISMA guidelines, which aims to analyze knowledge regarding sustainability at airports. This research uses the Google Scholar database, Scopus from Elsevier, the Web of Science database from Clarivate, and the 2023 PT Angkasa Pura I and II sustainability reports. The results of the research show that sustainable airport policies focus on developing environmentally friendly airports by prioritizing environmental management and collaborating with various stakeholders. Environmentally sustainable airports have been implemented, but they are limited to large airports in Indonesia.

Abstract

Bengkulu Province in resolving land disputes, focusing on mediation as a non-litigation dispute resolution mechanism. Land disputes in the region are triggered by various factors such as public ignorance of legal land status, low legal literacy, and weak land administration systems. Mediation is considered an effective method as it offers a faster and more amicable solution than formal litigation, emphasizing mutual agreement and efficiency. The research applies a juridical-empirical approach and descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews, literature review, and document analysis. The findings reveal that BPN acts not only as a neutral mediator but also as a legal educator and facilitator in clarifying land ownership issues. Despite these efforts, the implementation of mediation still faces significant challenges, including the absence of standardized technical guidelines, a lack of certified mediators, and limited public engagement. Therefore, this study recommends that BPN enhance its human resource capacity in mediation, develop clear and standardized procedures, and conduct ongoing public outreach and legal education campaigns. Strengthening these aspects is essential for positioning land mediation as an effective tool in achieving social justice and legal protection in the agrarian sector.
