Abstract

Bengkayang as a border area often faces structural challenges in various sectors of economic development and infrastructure, especially in the food entrepreneurship sector. This research aims to analyze the role and revitalization of social capital as  a strategic asset in developing food entrepreneurship in border areas. However, the potential of local entrepreneurship can be developed through the revitalization of social capital, the optimization of supply-demand mechanisms, and the strengthening of the food supply chain. This research aims to examine how these three elements can synergize as strategic assets in encouraging entrepreneurial growth in border areas, especially in Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan. The research method uses a qualitative approach with case studies and data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results of the study show that the revitalization of social capital can increase access to market information, facilitate collaboration between business actors, and strengthen local institutions. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration between social capital and an adaptive food supply chain system is able to create a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in border areas.

Bank Artha Graha Internasional utilizes these reports to showcase their sustainability initiatives, such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and green financing, which directly contribute to improving the company's positive image among stakeholders. The results also show that stakeholders, particularly investors and regulators, consider sustainability reports an important indicator in their decision-making processes. The study concludes that sustainability reports play a significant role in building closer relationships with stakeholders through increased transparency, accountability, and corporate communication. Furthermore, a well-prepared sustainability report can strengthen the company's legitimacy in society and provide a long-term competitive advantage.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the performance of the Secretariat staff of the Bengkulu City General Election Commission (KPU) in the implementation of the 2018 Regional Head Election (Pilkada). A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research focused on five effectiveness indicators according to Hasibuan: job performance, responsibility, discipline, honesty, and teamwork. The findings indicate that KPU Secretariat staff carried out their duties in alignment with these indicators, although several technical challenges were encountered. The election schedule was implemented according to the planned timeline, and inter-staff cooperation was notably high. Therefore, the staff's performance is categorized as effective and contributed significantly to the successful execution of the Pilkada in Bengkulu City. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the importance of professionalism and accountability among election administrators as a foundation for local democratic governance.

Abstract

This study specifically examines the manipulation of election recapitulation documents by election officials in Tanggamus Regency (Decision No. 120/Pid.Sus/2024/PN Kot). This case violates fundamental principles of election administration, highlighting the need for strict law enforcement. The research uses a normative juridical approach, focusing on statutory regulations, legal doctrines, and court decisions. Primary data include relevant laws such as the 1945 Constitution, Election Law No. 7 of 2017, and the Criminal Code, while secondary data comprise court rulings and related literature. Data were collected through document analysis and processed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The study concludes that criminal law enforcement is essential to uphold justice, protect human dignity, and ensure compliance with election laws. The manipulated votes meet the elements of a criminal offense, with the defendants deliberately violating election regulations by altering official vote recapitulation records. The court imposed penalties, including imprisonment and fines, emphasizing no justification or excuse for the offenses. Thus, vote manipulation is a serious crime requiring firm sanctions to deter violations, maintain electoral justice, and guarantee legal certainty in election administration.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of the implementation of the Omnibus Law (UU Cipta Kerja) on the position of women in the tourism sector in Bali, focusing on the social and cultural risks faced by female workers due to changes in labor policies. This study explores the role conflicts between traditional duties and job demands arising from labor deregulation. Using a qualitative methodology approach, data were collected through a literature review, document analysis of legal texts, academic articles, government reports, and news articles. The data were then analyzed using content analysis to identify key themes, such as the dual burden faced by women, social tensions, and the impact of policy changes on the well-being of female workers in Bali's tourism sector. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Omnibus Law worsens the social and economic conditions of female workers in the tourism sector by removing key labor protections such as menstrual leave and maternity leave. Challenges, such as the lack of gender-sensitive policies and cultural considerations continue to hinder the full potential of these workers. The study concludes that the Omnibus Law negatively impacts women's well-being, highlighting the need for labor policy reforms that are more inclusive of gender and culture to reduce inequalities and better support Balinese women in balancing their professional and traditional roles. Recommendations for future policy changes include implementing protections for female workers, ensuring cultural sensitivity, and providing better support systems for women in the workforce.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate employee competencies and their impact on performance at the Regional Office of the National Land Agency of Bengkulu Province. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observations, structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results indicate that the five indicators of competency—motivation, character, self-concept, knowledge, and skills—have been fulfilled and significantly contribute to employee performance. Employees demonstrate high work motivation, professional character, positive self-concept, strong technical knowledge, and relevant administrative and technical skills. The limitation of this study lies in its narrow scope, focusing on a single regional agency with a limited number of informants. This research contributes to the development of human resource management policies in the public sector, especially in designing competency-based training programs and holistic performance evaluation systems.

Abstract

This study aims to propose a risk-based budgeting framework for non-profit organizations, particularly zakat institutions, with a case study at Rumah Amal Salman (RAS). This study was conducted because there is no integration between risk management and the budgeting process. As a result, risk management is only administrative in nature, and the programs developed do not consider the uncertainties that may occur systematically. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach combined with financial and budget analysis. Data was collected through various documents such as financial reports, work plan and budget documents (RKA), internal risk analysis documents, and through unstructured interviews with a key internal informant of the institution. Data was analyzed through two approaches, such as financial analysis and risk analysis. Financial analysis was conducted through financial ratio analysis and trend analysis. Risk data was analyzed through a risk management process adapted from elements of ISO 31000. This process yielded several findings. First, most of the risks were found in the Program and Marketing Department. In terms of risk categories, the majority were compliance, strategic, and operational risks. Second, the results of mapping risk mitigation action into program proposals indicate that RAS needs to prioritize programs focused on system and database development. This finding aligns with the results of the analysis from the opposite direction, where identified risks are mapped into budgeted programs. This demonstrates the consistency of the need to strengthen digital systems as a strategic step in risk control. Finally, this study generates a risk-based budgeting framework and workflow that can be implemented as a standard operating procedure (SOP) or budget planning flowchart. In general, the proposed budget planning process flow is similar to the existing one. Previously, the process began with the establishment and targeting of budget allocations. Now, two additional processes have been added before that, running in parallel, such as reviewing previous financial performance and reviewing, updating, and establishing risk profiles.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of product and service quality on customer loyalty at CV Anugrah Jaya Abadi in Bandar Lampung. Latar belakang penelitian ini was based on the importance of maintaining customer loyalty in a robust business environment. Good product quality and customer service that is always helpful are the two main factors that encourage customers to continuously buy products and recommend businesses to others. The research methodology that is being used is a quantitative approach using survey data. Data is collected through questionnaires given to 100 CV Anugrah Jaya Abadi respondents. Analisis data dilakukan dengan using regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh simultan dan parsial antara variabel independen (kualitas product dan kualitas pelayanan) terhadap variabel dependen (loyalitas pelanggan). The study's findings indicate that product and service quality simultaneously have a significant impact on customer loyalty. For example, when it comes to fostering customer loyalty, product quality has a greater impact than service quality. This highlights how important it is for businesses to continuously monitor and improve their product quality while providing customers with first-rate service. Therefore, it is hoped that CV Anugrah Jaya Abadi will be able to be used as a guide in developing strategies to improve product quality and customer loyalty in a comprehensive manner.
