Abstract

This research aims to analyze in depth the transformation of teaching practices of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers at Pautan Hati Kindergarten after participating in the Continuous Professional Development Program (PKB) implemented through the Lesson Study model. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects of the research are ECE teachers at Pautan Hati Kindergarten who actively participated in the Lesson Study-based PKB program. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of lesson plans and teachers' reflective journals, both before, during, and after the intervention. Research findings indicate a significant positive transformation in teachers' teaching practices, including enhanced quality of child-centered lesson planning, more interactive and varied learning implementation, more authentic and formative assessment practices, and strengthened culture of collaboration and reflection among teachers. Factors such as teachers' motivation, support from school principals, and the quality of Lesson Study facilitation are the main supports for this transformation, while time and resource limitations serve as obstacles. The main conclusion emphasizes that Lesson Study-based professional development is effective in holistically transforming the teaching practices of early childhood education teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the research plan on improving students' learning motivation in Science subjects using Wordwall learning media. This study was conducted using the Quasi Experiment method and using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This study was located at SMP Negeri 1 Lebakwangi and involved two classes as research samples, namely class VII D with 34 students and class VII E with 34 students. The data collection technique in this study was using a questionnaire. The results of this study were that the average learning motivation of students in the class using Wordwall media (62.32) was higher than the class without Wordwall (38.88). This difference of 23.44 points was statistically significant (p = 0.000), which indicated that the use of Wordwall was effective in improving students' learning motivation in Science subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Lebakwangi. Based on the results of the Independent Samples T-Test.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the Directed Practice learning approach on the motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics students in grade XI Phase F at State High School 1 Candung for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used is pre-experimental with a Static Group Comparison design. The research sample consists of 54 students selected through random sampling techniques from a population of 79 students. The XI Phase F3 class is designated as the experimental group that receives instruction with the Directed Practice approach, while the XI Phase F2 class serves as the control group that receives conventional instruction. The instruments used in this study include learning outcome tests and motivation questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using the t-test with the help of SPSS software. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group, both in terms of learning motivation and mathematics learning outcomes. For learning motivation, a calculated t-value of 3.1656 was obtained > table t = 1.63756 with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05. Meanwhile, for mathematics learning outcomes, a calculated t-value of 2.234 was obtained > table t = 1.63756 with a significance value of 0.03 < 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the Directed Practice learning approach has a significant effect on improving the motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of the XI Fase F students at SMA Negeri 1 Candung

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low learning motivation of 5thgrade students at SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), specifically on the digestive system material. Low motivation hinders the learning process and students’ competency achievement. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ learning motivation through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model combined with a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. This classroom action research (CAR) involved 25 fifthgrade students of SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia as subjects. Data were collected using observations, motivation questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The results show a significant increase in students’ motivation from the preaction phase to the second cycle. Initially, only 12% of students had very high motivation and 20% had high motivation; by the second cycle, very high motivation rose to 56% and high motivation to 44%, while students with low and very low motivation were completely eliminated. The implementation of PBL combined with CRT proved effective in creating a more active, creative, and meaningful learning environment that aligns with students’ cultural contexts. This study recommends the continuous use of this learning model to enhance educational quality at SD Negeri 101766 Bandar Setia

Abstract

This research aims of this study is to use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method and the differentiation strategy to improve Pancasila Education learning outcomes on the cooperation material between city/district government and the community in grade 5 students of SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya in 2024/2025. The Project Based Learning (PjBL) method and the differentiation strategy are used to improve students' understanding by doing on projects through the differentiation. The collection methods used namely documentation method. The data analysis technique used is the descriptive percentage analysis technique. The percentage of learning outcome completion during the pre-cycle was 58%, cycle 1 was 82.75% and cycle 2 was 100%. The application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method and the differentiation strategy that have been carried out provide more optimal learning outcomes than during the pre-cycle. However, the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) method and the differentiation strategy are something that very challenging for teachers, because teachers must prepare a mature learning design to accommodate various characters of students in the classroom

Abstract

This research aims to enhance students' understanding and engagement through the development of interactive e-learning materials based on Moodle in the course of Parallel and Distributed Computing. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The final product of this research consists of a digital module, interactive videos, threading simulations, and assessment instruments. A limited trial involving 30 students showed that the use of interactive media can improve learning outcomes by 28%. Validation by experts places the media's feasibility level in the very valid category with a score of 92%. Through the presentation of interactive and visual materials, this media is considered effective in helping students understand complex concepts. Therefore, this research concludes that interactive e-learning is a potential and effective learning tool to support learning in technical and challenging subjects
