Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of experimental science methods among students at TK Perjuangan Jalanjang, Bulukumba Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method (pre-experimental), specifically a one-group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study consists of 18 individuals from TK Perjuangan Jalanjang, Bulukumba Regency, which includes 11 females and 7 males. The instrument used in this study is an observation guide for science skills. The data analysis technique employs inferential statistics, which includes normality tests and non-parametric statistical tests. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that the application of the science experiment method has an impact on improving the science skills of children at TK Perjuangan Jalanjang, Bulukumba Regency. The average score for the pre-test is 7.7 and the average score for the post-test is 22.7. It can be seen from the results of the Wilcoxon sing rank test that there is a significant difference with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The implications of the research indicate that the application of the science experiment method affects the science skills of children

Abstract

Constructing effective sentences is a crucial skill that university students must possess as future academics. This skill significantly influences the effectiveness of both oral and written communication. The purpose of this research is to produce a digital teaching module on effective sentence construction, supported by the Kotobee application, for university students. This study is a research and development (R&D) project employing the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Research data were obtained through observations and questionnaires involving experts in language, subject matter, and digital module design. The instruments used for data collection were observation sheets and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques based on the scores provided by validators and users. The design aspect of the module was evaluated on several components: (1) visual appeal received 54% 'very appropriate' and 37% 'appropriate'; (2) readability received 70% 'very appropriate' and 25% 'appropriate'; (3) layout received 62% 'very appropriate' and 33% 'appropriate'; and (4) image quality received 63% 'very appropriate'. Meanwhile, the content aspect was assessed through: (1) completeness and clarity of material, with 66.7% rated as 'very appropriate'; (2) presentation of examples, 59.8% 'very appropriate'; and (3) provision of practice questions, 56% 'very appropriate'. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the digital teaching module on effective sentence construction meets the feasibility criteria in terms of both design and content

Abstract

This research aims to understand the Role of Customer-Focused Strategies in Achieving Sustainable Competitive Advantage in the Indonesian Outsourcing Industry. This study adopts a qualitative research approach, conducting in-depth interviews with senior executives and managers from leading outsourcing companies in Indonesia. The interviews are focused on understanding the customer-focused practices of the companies, the challenges they face, and the perceived impact on their competitive position. The collected data is then analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key themes and insights. This research also reviews relevant academic literature and industry reports to contextualize the findings and identify best practices from other countries and sectors. The analysis results indicate that the key elements of a successful customer-focused strategy are a deep understanding of customer needs, the ability to tailor service offerings, effective employee engagement and empowerment, and the development of a company-wide culture that prioritizes customer focus and innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically analyze the factors that influence capital structure include profitability proxied by return on assets/ROA, asset structure, liquidity as proxied by current ratio/CR, and company size in coal mining subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014 to 2018. The research sample was taken using the purposive sampling method, so that 10 companies were selected that met the specified criteria. The data analysis applied was panel data regression, with the selected model being the Random Effect Model. From the regression results, the Adjusted R-square (R²) value reached 0.434760, which means that the independent variables were able to explain 43.47% of the variation in the dependent variable, while the rest, which was 56.53%, was explained by other factors outside the study. The F test also showed a value of 0.00000, smaller than the significance level of α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that simultaneously the independent variables have a significant effect on capital structure. Meanwhile from the results of partial testing, the liquidity variable was proven to have a significant negative influence on capital structure, while profitability, asset structure, and company size do not have a significant impact.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of ethnomathematics through the traditional game of engklek as a medium for learning flat shapes in elementary schools. The method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, structured interviews, and tests. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions to determine the effectiveness of learning. The research subjects were fourth-grade students at Al-Irsyad Al-Islamiyyah Elementary School. The results showed that students were more enthusiastic and active when learning using the engklek game. After the learning process, 90% of students experienced an increase in their understanding of flat shapes. The engklek game helped students understand geometric shapes in a concrete and enjoyable way, as well as fostering an interest in learning mathematics. Additionally, this approach preserves local culture and improves social skills. Learning becomes more contextual and meaningful. Traditional games have proven to be effective as an alternative learning medium for mathematics, especially in abstract subjects such as geometry.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between the perspective of fallibilism and mathematics learning in the 21st century. The method used is a literature review, with data sources consisting of 11 scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025. The articles were obtained through searches using the Publish or Perish tool and the Google Scholar database, with keywords "fallibilism", "philosophy of mathematics", and "21st-century mathematics education". The data collection process involved selecting articles based on relevance criteria. The collected data were then analyzed qualitatively using content analysis techniques, focusing on identifying main themes and the interconnection of concepts. The analysis results are presented in two main tables depicting the integration of philosophy, curriculum, and technology in mathematics learning, and active learning strategies that align with the principles of fallibilism. The study's findings indicate that fallibilism views mathematics as knowledge that develops socially and is open to revision. This perspective is in line with contemporary educational principles that emphasize the importance of critical thinking skills, reflective thinking, and mastery of numerical literacy. Additionally, technology-based learning approaches such as Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning are considered suitable with the principles of fallibilism because they encourage the exploration of ideas, problem-solving, and active student participation.

Abstract

ADHD is a condition that causes difficulty in controlling impulses and maintaining concentration, thus affecting the learning process and social interactions of children. This study aims to identify the main characteristics of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and to formulate literature-based and applicable treatment strategies in an inclusive school environment. A total of 9 out of 15 articles were reviewed in depth to identify the core characteristics of children with ADHD, such as inability to concentrate, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. This study is a literature review study with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources were obtained from scientific articles published in reputable journals between 2015 and 2024 that discussed ADHD in the context of education. Data collection techniques were carried out through systematic searches using specific keywords in online databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and ERIC. The selected articles were selected based on certain inclusion criteria, such as topic relevance, suitability to the educational context, year of publication, and full accessibility. The data analysis technique used was content analysis, by identifying the main themes of the selected articles, so that patterns of characteristics and ADHD treatment strategies that were relevant to the inclusive school environment were obtained
