Abstract

This research aims to improve the quality of competency of Islamic religious education teachers through the important role of evaluation in the learning process. The method used in this research is library research by critically and in-depth reviewing library materials that are relevant to paper materials such as books and journals that are suitable as references. This data collection uses the source search method and constructs it from various sources, for example books, journals and research that has been carried out. Based on the research process, evaluation is very important in efforts to improve the quality of teacher competence, so this process must be carried out regularly in order to create quality educators. This can be done through several aspects, namely; transparency and openness, assessment instruments, evaluator training, follow-up and support.

Abstract

The article analyze of the teachers’ strategy of islamic religious education in instilling the character of peace and love at state junior high schools 22 bandar lampung. The teacher uses qualitative descriptive that conducted at State Junior High School 22 Bandar Lampung. The result showed that the strategy applied by educators in cultivating a peace-loving character is using role model strategies, habituation and classroom conditioning. The peace-loving character that has been instilled; (1) working in groups; (2) share with friends; (3) respect other people's opinions; (4) empathy for others; (5) don't want to win alone; (6) likes to discuss; (7) doesn't like making a fuss or bothering other people; (8) likes to help other people; (9) able to intervene when someone is fighting; (10) interact well according to the norms that apply to peers and even adults.

Abstract

Adolescent career maturity has an important role in achieving their goals. Teenagers who have a good career understanding can help determine their career choices. Career understanding is obtained by understanding themselves and looking for various information that is used to support career alternatives. This research was conducted at Kartika Padang High School. This research aims to increase the career maturity of teenagers using information services with a muhasabah approach. The research method used was an experiment in the form of a one group pre-test post-test design. The population was 355 people and the sample was 33 people. The instrument for this research is the Adolescent Career Maturity Scale which is proposed using a Likert scale measurement. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS version 25.00. The research results showed that the career maturity of teenagers before being given treatment was in the low category, while after being given treatment was in the high category. There was an increase in teenagers' career maturity before and after being treated with information services using a muhasabah approach. Thus, information services with a muhasabah approach can facilitate optimal youth development to increase youth career maturity. This is evidenced by the increasing planning, exploration and realization of teenagers' career decisions in the future.

Abstract

A novel, as one of literary works, frequently depicts the real life situation. One of the conditions is cultural. This study aims to demonstrate how Bugis-Makassar marriage culture represented in Mahar dari Langit novel. It is crucial to be analyzed because by finding Bugis culture through novel, people do not need to experience it directly by themselves associated with the real condition there, whether it is good or negative. The researcher analyzes the data using a qualitative method and representation theory. The results indicate that the Mahar dari Langit novel represents Uang Panai' which can be paid by the prospective bride's father. Furthermore, this novel represents the progress of getting married in Bugis in five steps only; they are Mammanu' manu', Mappese' pese', Mappetu Ada, Mappaere Botting, and Mapparola.

Abstract

his study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the process of making a Sundanese cultural literacy decodable book, which aims to improve Sundanese cultural literacy in students who are included in the category of early readers in elementary school. The study involved 90 students in grades four to six in elementary school, who were included in the early reader category. This research resulted in a book that is considered to have internalized Sundanese cultural values in the scope of elementary school education which was tested to two early literacy experts by producing an average score of 88.1% in the Very Feasible category and obtained evaluation results with a score of 80.75% in the feasible category from students and 87.5% in the Very feasible category from teachers. Therefore, this research is expected to contribute to increasing the quantity and quality of decodable book that contain Sundanese cultural values.

Abstract

This study delves into Joe Biden's use of the personal pronouns "I" and "We" in his presidential campaign speeches, analyzed through the framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). By examining how Biden presents himself and the nation, the research uncovers the narratives crafted to promote a sense of unity and leadership. The SFL framework provides a detailed description of the linguistic choices that shape Biden's self-representation and his depiction of America, highlighting the strategies used to connect with voters on both personal and national levels. The results reveal Biden's portrayal of America, his vision for the future, and the specific policies he advocates. Such portrayals are expressed through six processes of Ideational metafunction: Material, Mental, Behavioral, Verbal, Existential, and Relational. Relational process is the highest process found in the data. It implies Biden’s inclusivity as common American people and his effort to resonate with a diverse audience. In short, this analysis enhances the understanding of the rhetorical tools utilized in political discourse to create impactful narratives.

Abstract

The study aims to explore practical and effective approaches to cultivating the spirit of creative leadership in students at Assalam Students High School in Sukoharjo. With a focus on the Islamic-based school context, this approach integrates religious principles with concepts of creative leadership. Through a combination of theory and practice, this article discusses concrete steps that can be implemented by teachers and school staff to build creative leadership skills in students. Using observation methods, interviews, and documentation analysis, this study highlights the success of certain strategies that have been implemented at PPMI Assalam Sukoharjo. Research results show that practical approaches involving project-based learning, teamwork, and empowering students in decision-making have successfully improved students' creative leadership skills. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for the development of curricula that support the growth of creative leadership, training for teachers in the application of innovative teaching methods, and collaborative efforts between schools, parents, and communities to create an environment that stimulates creativity and leadership in high school students. Thus, this article contributes to a practical understanding of how to cultivate the spirit of creative leadership in middle school students with an approach appropriate to the context of Islamic schools.

Abstract

This research explores the application of futuristic leadership in SD Surakarta to build a golden generation. Futuristic leadership here refers to an approach that integrates technology, innovative curricula, sustainable teacher training, and community participation to create an adaptive and innovative educational environment. Research methods used include in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), participatory observations, and documentation analysis. Research results show that the application of technology in learning improves student engagement and motivation. Curriculum that combines project-based learning (PBL) and STEM approaches successfully enhances student creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Active participation of parents and communities creates strong support for student holistic development. Facilities and classrooms designed to support interactive and collaborative learning create an environment conducive to the development of students' skills and creativity. The impact of this application is a significant improvement in the academic achievement and skills of 21st century students, teacher satisfaction, as well as parental involvement. The research concludes that futuristic leadership in SD Surakarta is effective in building a golden generation and can serve as a model for other schools that want to adopt a similar approach.

Abstract

This research reveals the impact of using Instagram social media on the morals and achievement of students at SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung. A quantitative survey method was used with a population of 1012 students, and a sample of 91 respondents was selected using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The results of data analysis using SPSS 16.0 show that the use of Instagram has a significant negative influence on student morals by 12%, which is influenced by the potential for cyberbullying and content that does not comply with ethical values. The use of Instagram also has a negative impact on student learning achievement by 5.5%, caused by impaired concentration and negative social-emotional influences. However, good morals make a positive contribution of 12.3% to student learning achievement, indicating that high discipline and learning motivation can improve academic results. The practical implication is the need for moral education and parental supervision to direct positive social media use for students.

Abstract

This research analyzes character education policies to realize Pancasila's values in elementary school students. Using qualitative methods with case studies at some primary schools in Surakarta, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Research results show that character education policies are implemented through the integration of Pancasila values into curricula, extracurricular activities, and teacher training. Collaboration between schools and parents is also effective in supporting student character education. However, challenges such as resource constraints and different understandings of character education remain. In conclusion, a character education policy based on Pancasila can effectively shape the character of elementary school students, with sustained support from all sides.
