Abstract

This research aims to determine the Montessori method's influence on early childhood literacy development. The main problem in this research is whether the Montessori method influences students' reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities in the Bdi PAUD KB Permata Hati Way Kanan group. The aim to be achieved in this research is to find out how much influence the Montessori method has on the Calistung abilities of group B students at PAUD KB Permata Hati Way Kanan. This type of research isPre-Experimental. The experimental design that will be used is the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This design exists as a pretest before being treated and a posttest after being given treatment. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and tests. The subjects in this research were 15 students from the Bdi PAUD KB Permata Hati Way Kanan group. The research results showed that after being given the Montessori method treatment, the Calistung abilities of group B students at PAUD KB Permata Hati Way Kanan increased. This is based on results post-test with a high percentage of the assessment of developing according to expectations (BSH}. The use of the Montessori method affects the Calistung ability of group B students at PAUD KB Permata Hati Way Kanan, as evidenced by the average difference of 25% for pretest results and 36% for posttest results. There is a difference between using the Montessori method and the Montessori method before using the Montessori method on the Calistung ability of group B students at PAUD KB Permata Hati Way Kanan. The Wilcoxon test proves that the calculated Z value is 3.4 and the Z table is 1.635 Z table (1.635). Based on the results of this research, the Montessori method influences the Calistung ability of group B students at PAUD KB Permata Hati Way Kanan. Abstract

This research aims to reveal the contribution of out-of-school education in forming Christian character in early childhood. In the context of child development, out-of-school education has great potential to strengthen the foundations of Christian character through various activities and social interactions outside the formal school environment. The research method used is literature study and content analysis, with a focus on out-of-school education programs which have been proven effective in forming Christian character in early childhood. The research results show that activities such as religious activities, moral development, and providing Christian values through stories and games can make a positive contribution in shaping children's character. An interactive and participatory approach in out-of-school education has also been proven to be able to develop positive attitudes, morality and Christian values in early childhood. These findings emphasize the important role of out-of-school education as a complement to formal education in forming Christian character in young children, so that it can help them grow into individuals with integrity and responsibility in the context of Christian values. The practical implication of this research is the need for further attention to the role of out-of-school education in early childhood character development, as well as providing recommendations for educators, parents and related parties in designing educational programs that support the formation of Christian character in the early stages of a child's life. Abstract

The learning media in school affects less learning. That's why specialists promote stories that are interpreted by the media. In this review, the experts developed techniques that use innovative work (research and development) using the ADDIE model. Date collection techniques include observations, interviews, documentation, and lifting. Data analysis used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis (uji validasi dan uji angket respon siswa). Learning with software articulate storyline that got an average of 95.5% of the material expert validation test results and 95.2% of the media expert evaluation results with a very valid category. The analysis of the elevation needs of students obtained a presentation of 34.10% that students are still having difficulties in the subject of IPAS. The results of the validation of materials 1 and 2 in terms of material compatibility, language suitability, usability, and suitability with the pupils are very valid, so they can be used to structure the story line. We obtained a maximum r value of 0.998 > 0.349 and a rehabilitation test with a cronbac alpha value of 0,687 > 0.6, so the validity test results indicate that the data is valid. So that the Media Articulate Storyline can be used by teachers for innovative media. Keywords: Articulate Storyline, Human Respiratory System, Learning Media

Abstract

This research discusses the scale analysis of multicultural guidance instruments on students at Madrasah Aliyah Al Huda Cikalongwetan. West Bandung Regency. The following are the results of the Validity Test and Reliability Test of the research instrument scale regarding multicultural counseling. This Validity Test uses Pearson Correlation to determine the extent to which each item in the measurement instrument correlates with the total score. In the table presented, 67 items (X1 to X67) were tested. The Pearson Correlation value for each item ranges from 0.738 to 0.881, indicating that each item has a strong relationship with the total score. The significance value for all items was 0.000, which is well below the significance level of 0.05. This indicates that the correlations found do not occur by chance and are highly statistically significant. Based on the validity test results, all items (X1 to X67) were declared valid. This is indicated by the high Pearson Correlation Value and the very low significance value (0.000). Thus, the measurement instrument used can be considered valid to measure the intended construct. The Reliability Test results show that the measurement instrument consisting of 67 items has a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.991. This value is very high and close to 1, which indicates that the instrument has excellent internal consistency. In other words, the items in this instrument consistently measure the same construct, so they can be relied upon to produce stable and accurate data. This high Cronbach's Alpha value provides confidence that the instrument can be used with confidence in research to measure the variable in question Keywords: Multicultural, Multicultural Counseling, Multicultural Guidance

Abstract

The objective of this study is to find out the difficulties faced by the students in the skill of reading comprehension at TOEFL Proficiency subject at the seventh semester of Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar. Descriptive qualitative approach was implemented in this research. Students of seventh semester from English Department in the academic year of 2023/2024 were as the subject of the research, and reading comprehension test as the object of the research. The researchers collected the data from the students’ final exam from their TOEFL subject. The result showed that there were some problems/difficulties faced by the students/participants after analysing the data and collected the interview from some participants, they were: 1) lack of vocabulary, 2) lack of time and losing focus in the reading comprehension, 3) unfamiliar text and lack of practising, and 4) lack of motivation. From the problems faced by the participants, the researchers also found the results of their test achievement were categorized as satisfied since 46,75% (36 students) got the score range 80-100. From the findings obtained, the researchers concluded that more practices need to be taken if the students/participants want to get a better result of the TOEFL test in the future. Abstract

Inspection is the activity procedures of an appraiser identical with survey to the location of the object of assessment. Considering efficient KJPP ANA & Rekan Gianyar is important for determining the best route in order to reduce overtime. This research focused in optimizing the inspection case route to the location using Linear Programming (LP) and Nearest Neighbor (NN) for Traveling Salesman Problem cases. In addition, analyzing the comparison of the initial route and the new route with both methods after optimizing travel time to reduce overtime. This research combined set theory and distribution & transportation concepts in the optimization. The data in this research used primary data including initial route along with the coordinates and secondary includes company profiles, LP and NN algorithms collected through interviews, documentation and literature study. The collected data were processed with Microsoft Excel and Google Colaboratory software. The results found that the LP method minimized travel time savings by an average of 12%, while the NN method is 8%. The LP method minimized the average overtime and costs by 16 minutes (Rp. 13,000, -) while the NN method is 11 minutes (Rp. 9,000, -).
