Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of oil and gas exports, Domestic Investment (PMDN), and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on poverty levels in Indonesia during the period 1998–2023 using the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach. The objective is to examine both the short-term and long-term relationships between these macroeconomic variables and their impact on poverty reduction. The results show that all three variables have a negative and significant effect on poverty levels. Oil and gas exports reduce poverty by 0.11% in the short term and 0.19% in the long term. PMDN contributes to a 0.06% decrease in poverty in the short term and 0.10% in the long term. Meanwhile, GDP helps reduce poverty by 0.11% in the short term and 0.17% in the long term. The adjusted R² value of 97.21% indicates that the model explains the variation in poverty levels very well. These findings affirm that increasing oil and gas exports, domestic investment, and economic growth are effective strategies for poverty alleviation. Therefore, the government should strengthen and sustain economic policies supporting these three sectors to ensure equitable and sustainable poverty reduction.

Abstract

Credit card hacking (carding) constitutes a form of cybercrime in which offenders unlawfully access and use another person’s credit card for payment transactions without the owner’s consent or knowledge. This study aims to examine and analyze: (1) the legal framework governing the theft of credit card information that causes financial losses to customers through cyberspace; (2) the scope of criminal liability for such offenses; and (3) judicial considerations in Decision Number 240/Pid.Sus/2021/PN.Dps. The research focuses on relevant provisions in Indonesian law, specifically Article 30 paragraph (1) of Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE), which prohibits unauthorized access to another person’s computer or electronic system. In conjunction with Article 46 paragraph (1) of the ITE Law and Article 55 of the Criminal Code, these regulations form the legal basis for prosecuting carding offenses. Decision Number 240/Pid.Sus/2021/PN.Dps reflects the application of these provisions, where the court imposed penalties on perpetrators consistent with statutory mandates. This research underscores the significance of robust legal enforcement to address the evolving challenges of cybercrime and to safeguard public trust in electronic transactions.

Abstract

The traditional distinction between competitive and cooperative strategies is becoming less relevant in today’s complex and dynamic global business environment. This article offers a new perspective by integrating both approaches through the concept of coopetition—a combination of collaboration and competition—as an adaptive and sustainable strategy. Drawing on a literature review and conceptual analysis, the study examines how firms can simultaneously cooperate and compete within the global business ecosystem, considering contextual factors such as the growth of emerging economies, political dominance, technological disruption, and social demands. The findings indicate that a well-balanced application of coopetition can enhance innovation, share risks, optimize resources, and strengthen long-term competitive advantage. This study contributes to the theoretical development of strategic management and provides practical guidance for business practitioners in designing strategies that are responsive to global environmental changes.

Abstract

BTN Syariah KCP Setia Budi Medan is one of the Islamic financial institutions involved in implementing the government's Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) program, offering the KPR BTN Sejahtera Syariah iB product based on a murabahah bil wakalah contract. In practice, the financing of housing units that are not yet deemed habitable, as they lack essential infrastructure, facilities, and public utilities (PSU) as required by prevailing laws and regulations. This study aims to analyze the conformity between applicable regulations and field practices, examine the legal consequences of such violations, and assess the legal protection available to affected customers. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the murbahah bil wakalah contract at BTN Syariah KCPS Setia Budi Medan violates OJK Regulation Number 13/POJK.03/2021 concerning the Implementation of Bank Products and the DSN- MUI Fatwa Number 04/DSN- MUI/IV/2000 on Murabahah. The legal implications of implementing FLPP subsidized housing financing through murabahah bil wakalah contracts for uninhabitable housing constitute an unlawful act, as it contravenes Article 14 of Government Regulation No. 12 of 2021, Article 21 of BP Tapera Regulation No. 9 of 2021, and Articles 16 and 18 of OJK Regulation Number 6/POJK.07/2022. Moreover, the contract clauses in the murabahah bil wakalah agreement contain exoneration clauses that violate Article 18 of Law Number 8 of 1999. According to Article 20 of the murabahah bil wakalah agreement with BTN KCPS Setia Budi Medan, customers may pursue their rights through deliberation involving the bank, the customer, and the developer. If no agreement is reached, the matter may be resolved through litigation.

Abstract

This study intends to assess the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and work discipline on employee performance at PDAM Tirtajati Cirebon Regency. The research adopts a quantitative approach in its methodology that is associative in nature. Data were obtained using a questionnaire given to 119 employees who have worked for at least five years. The data processing process involved validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption checking, and multiple linear regression analysis. The outcomes of this investigation reveal that OCB and work discipline, when analyzed individually, have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Together, these two variables also contribute significantly to performance with the coefficient of determination (R²) reaching 78.9%. These findings indicate that strengthening voluntary behavior and maintaining high work discipline are crucial strategies to improve employee performance, especially in public service organizations such as PDAM Tirtajati.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the synergy between local culture and public policy in the packaging of local wisdom-based tourism in Tomohon City, North Sulawesi. The study focuses on identifying supporting and inhibiting factors across three main dimensions: (a) political aspects, related to regulations, permits, and budget allocation; (b) socioeconomic aspects, concerning community empowerment, job creation, and micro-enterprise development in the tourism sector; and (c) environmental aspects, including nature conservation, tourist area security, and ecotourism development. Using a qualitative approach through case studies, this research reveals that culture-based tourism packaging requires integration between the government, tourism operators, and local communities. The findings indicate that although local wisdom has significant potential in shaping destination identity, policy implementation is often hampered by weak inter-agency coordination, budget constraints, and low ecotourism literacy at the community level. Therefore, synergy between community-centered public policies and the preservation of local culture is key to realizing sustainable, inclusive, and equitable tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing strategies and word of mouth on marketing performance at Manani Shop, a thrift fashion MSME in Tegal City. Facing increasingly fierce business competition and shifting consumer behavior toward digital media, utilizing digital marketing strategies and the power of word of mouth (WOM) is crucial for increasing competitiveness and customer loyalty. This study employed a quantitative approach, using a survey method with 120 respondents who were active Manani Shop customers. The analysis techniques used included validity and reliability tests, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that both digital marketing strategies and word of mouth, both partially and simultaneously, had a positive and significant impact on marketing performance. Effective digital marketing strategies through social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have been shown to increase brand awareness and customer interaction. Meanwhile, word of mouth, particularly in the form of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), plays a crucial role in building trust and driving purchasing decisions. These findings provide theoretical and practical implications for MSMEs in designing more adaptive and sustainable marketing strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) at higher education institutions has become a strategic step to enhance the effectiveness of internal quality audits (IQA). This research aims to analyze the implementation of a digital-based IQAS information system at Mulawarman University and assess its impact on the effectiveness of internal quality audit implementation. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in the form of a case study, with data collection techniques including interviews, documentation, and observation. The results show that the developed cloud-based spreadsheet information system has improved timeliness, transparency, efficiency, and participation of work units in the IQA process. The digitalized audit process facilitates collaboration between auditors and auditees, supports document tracking, and speeds up decision-making. Although the system is not yet fully automated, this implementation has reinforced a data-driven quality culture and sustainability. The main recommendation from this study is the development of an integrated web application system, enhanced user training, and further studies to evaluate the long-term impact on institutional quality. These findings contribute theoretically to the literature on the digitization of education quality and offer practical benefits for strengthening quality management policies in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Learning discipline is a mental attitude to obey rules, regulations, self-control, while adapting to external rules, even those that are restrictive and show awareness of responsibility for tasks and obligations. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services in improving learning discipline in high school students. This study is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental research type with a one-group pretest and posttest design. The subjects in this study were 10 students of SMA N 7 Padang with certain criteria. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire, while the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with the help of the SPSS 22 application. The results of the study showed a significant increase in learning discipline scores after being given group guidance services. The results of the Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.005 (p <0.05), which means there was a significant difference between before and after treatment. Thus, group guidance services are proven to be effective in improving learning discipline in high school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon that shows symptoms of stress in adolescents, such as the inability of students to control emotions, irritability, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, difficulty getting along with peer groups and decreased social skills. One factor that influences stress is peer social support. This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and stress in adolescents. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational research type. The population in this study were students of grades XI and XI at SMA Negeri 2 Batang Anai registered in the 2025/2026 academic year, with a sample of 228 students using a simple random sampling technique. The results of the study show that peer social support is generally in the fairly high category and stress in adolescents is generally in the fairly high category. The results of the product moment correlation test obtained rxy = -0.300 indicating a negative relationship with the level of the relationship being in the weak category.
