Abstract

Abstract The  aims of this research  to examine and analyze the Effect of Interpersonal Communication Ability and Self-Efficacy on the Critical Thinking Ability of Class XI Students in Economic Subjects at SMAN 01 Sekadau. The method used is an associative quantitative research method with a form of causal relationship research. The population in this study were students of class XI IIS totaling 123 students, taken by simple random sample that is obtained 55 samples. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear regression analysis with the  SPSS version 22.00.  The results of the analysis revealed that there was a significant influence on interpersonal communication skills and self-efficacy on students' critical thinking skills, with a value of Fcount> Ftable (32.535> 3.18) and a probability value (sig) smaller than the significant degree (0,000 <0, 05). Then simultaneously the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.556, it can be stated that the coefficient of determination KD = R2 x 100% or KD = 0.556 x 100% = 55.6%. So interpersonal communication skills and self-efficacy have a close relationship with students' critical thinking skills of 55.6%.  Keywords:   Interpersonal Communication Ability, Self Efficacy, Ability Critical Thinking

Abstract

 AbstractConjunctions are an important part of Chinese grammar.Conjunction is a kind of function words, its role is to connect two words, phrases and clauses.In conjunction with the word "no matter" and "no matter" for example, the two words in the semantics and usage there is a difference and the same.Therefore, students on the?no matter?and?no matter " prone to error. In order to understand the mastery and difficulty of?no matter?and?no matter?students of the Chinese language majoring in Teachers College of Tanjung Pulai National University, the author used the test method to test the students.Test results showed that students have a better grasp of?no matter?than?no matter?."Regardless of" the correct rate of 73%, and?regardless of " the correct rate of 55%.Analysis of difficulties, the author found that students for "whether" to add "or, with, and" grasp the situation is not good.  Keyword: buguan, conjunctions, the analysis of mastery,wulun

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap tanggungjawab belajar dan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa pada materi Fungsi Logaritma di kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 3 Singkawang yang menerapkan Engaged Learning Strategy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experiment (Eksperimen Semu) dengan rancangan one-group pre-test post-test design, dimana kemampuan koneksi matematis 37 siswa dalam pembelajaran diukur sebelum dan setelah pembelajaran yang menerapkan Engaged Learning Strategy. Dalam penelitian ini siswa yang memiliki tanggung jawab belajar dicirikan dengan 4 indikator yaitu (1) Inisiatif, otonomi dan kendali belajar (2) Berpartisipasi Aktif, (3) Orientasi Positif terhadap Sekolah, (4) Manajemen Sumber Belajar. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan secara umum tanggung jawab belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 6 % dimana peningkatan terbesar adalah indikator Berpartisipasi Aktif. Sedangkan untuk kemampuan koneksi matematis dibatasi dalam penelitian ini hanya untuk koneksi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan antar konsep matematika. Secara keseluruhan kemampuan koneksi matematis mengalami peningkatan skor ratarata sebesar 1,5%.Kata Kunci : Engaged Learning Strategy, Tanggung Jawab Belajar, Koneksi MatematisAbstract : This study aims to investigate the responsibility of learning and the mathematical connections of students XIPA at SMAN 3 Singkawang learning that apply Engaged Learning Strategy. The study method is Quasi Experiment with one-group pre-test post-test design, where the learning responsibility and mathematical connections of 37 students are measured before and after applying Engaged Learning. In this study, students who have the learning responsibility characterized by four indicators: (1) Have initiative, autonomy and control of learning (2) Active Participation, (3) Have a positive orientation towards school, (4) Management of Learning Resources. The results showed that the learning responsibility has increased by 6% with largest contributions occurred in the Active Participation. As for the mathematical connections is limited in this study only for : (1) to connect with everyday life and (2) to connect between mathematical concepts. Overall the mathematical connections average scores increased of 1.5%.Keywords : Engaged Learning Strategy, Learning Responsibility, Mathematical Connections

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is the researcher's interest in Malay dance art especially the history of Jepin Lembut dance village   of Teluk Keramat Sekura Sambas district. The goal is to find out the history of dance Jepin Lembut by documenting the form of writing supported by photographs associated with a Jepin Lembut Dance. So the history of Jepin Lembtu dance can be known by the wider community.The method used is historical method, with qualitative research form. The approach in this research is interdisciplinary approach with the history as disciplines of sciences. Sources of data in this study are some of speakers who know the history of the existence of Jepin Lembt dance and documents the writing of scientific papers on dance Jepin Lembut. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interview and documentation study. Techniques test the validity of data using source triangulation and extension of observation.The history of Jepin Lembut dance in the village   of Teluk Keramat Sekura Sambas district since 1950s, created by an artist named Abdullah. This dance arise in Tri Mandayan village. Firstly this dance showed in the marriage party as a society entertainment. Jepin Lembut dance in the village   of Teluk Keramat Sekura district have a glorious and decrease experience periods in the development era. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang pengaruh strategi pembelajaran aktif index card match terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial murid kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Pontianak Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Eksperimen jenis eksperimen semu dengan desain eksperimen Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh murid Kelas V yang terdiri dari tiga kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah murid kelas VB (kelas Kontrol) dan VC (kelas eksperimen) yang masing-masing berjumlah 37 orang. Instrumen berupa tes dengan bentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 30 soal dan bentuk menjodohkan 10 soal. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik pengukuran. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test diperoleh thitung > ttabel (2,27 > 1,6684), dari perhitungan effect size (ES), diperoleh ES sebesar 0,52. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi pembelajaran aktif index card match terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial pada murid kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Kata kunci: Index Card Match, Hasil Belajar,  Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Abstract: The purpose 0f this research to obtain information on the influence of active learning strategies index card match the learning outcomes of Social Sciences student public elementary school class V 03 Pontianak City. This study uses a kind of experiment Experiment Method quasi experimental design Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of Class V consists of three classes. The sample was grader VB (control class) and VC (experimental class), each of which amounted to 37 people. Instruments such as multiple choice test with 30 questions and 10 questions form match. Data collection techniques using measurement techniques. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained t> t table (2.27> 1.6684), from the calculation of the effect size (ES), obtained ES 0.52. Thus, it can be concluded that there are significant active learning strategy index card match the learning outcomes of Social Sciences at Elementary School fifth grade students. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan pengenalan rasa melalui metode demonstrasi pada anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Flora Kecamatan Singkawang Barat. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi. Subjek penelitian satu guru dan anak usia 4-5 tahun yang berjumlah 10 orang. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat persentase aktivitas peningkatan kemampuan anak mengenal empat rasa dasar sebesar 40%, kemampuan anak mengelompokkan makanan yang memiliki rasa yang sama sebesar 80%, dan kemampuan anak menunjukkan letak rasa pada bagian gambar indera pengecap (lidah) sebesar 100%. Ketiga indikator menunjukkan kriteria baik karena memiliki rata-rata 73%. Kata Kunci: kemampuan, pengenalan rasa, metode demonstrasi. Abstract: The study was undertaken to describe the escalation ability of the introduction on taste through demonstration method to children ages 4 to 5 years at Flora kindergarten, west Singkawang sub-district. A classroom action research was employed by applying demonstration method. The subject of this study consisted of one theacherand 10 children ages 4 to 5 years. The result of identify four basic tastes was 40%, children's ability to agglomerate foods of similar taste was 80%, and children's ability to show the exact location of the taste picture (tongue) was 100%. Three indicators as mentioned above above indicating good criteria due to its average of 73% Keywords: ability, introduction on taste, demonstration method.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi kompetensi sosial guru mata pelajaran sosiologi dalam berkomunikasi dengan peserta didik. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kemampuan guru dalam bersikap inklusif, yaitu bersikap terbuka dengan menggunakan bahasa yang jelas dan mudah dipahami serta bersikap rendah hati dengan menunjukkan sikap sabar. Guru dapat membangun komunikasi dialogis terhadap peserta didik dengan membuka jalan untuk selalu bertanya dan menanggapi saran atau pendapat, (2) kemampuan guru dalam bertindak objektif, yaitu bersikap bijaksana dan adil, menghargai setiap saran ataupun pendapat serta selalu menerapkan nilai-nilai moral saat pembelajaran, (3) kemampuan guru untuk bersikap tidak diskriminatif, yaitu guru menyayangi dan mengasihi dan memposisikan diri layaknya orangtua dan anak. Guru memperlakukan semua peserta didik sama rata tanpa memandang latar belakang.   Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Sosial, Komunikasi, Peserta Didik   Abstract: This research aims to understand the implementation of competence social subject teachers sociology in communicate with school tuition. The form of research used is research qualitative with the methods descriptive. Technique data collection used that is observation, interview, and study documentation. The research results show that (1) the capability of teachers in be inclusive, namely be open with use of language clear and easy to understand and be humble with demonstrate the attitude of patient.Teachers can establish communication dialogis for participants students with paved the way for the always ask and respond to advice or opinion, (2) the capability of teachers in acting objective, namely be wise and fair, appreciating advice or opinion and always apply moral values when learning, (3) the capability of teachers to be not discriminating, consisting of the love and love and position self like a parent and a child.Teachers treats all school tuition levelled without looking at background.   Keywords: Social Competence, Communication, Students

Abstract

 AbstractThe problems of this research were the lack of motivation and the low achievement of students in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Purposes of this research were to determine: 1) whether there was a significant difference of achievement beetwen students who were taught using CIRC Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model and conventional method on koloid materials, 2) effect size of applying CIRC Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition  model toward achievement on koloid materials, 3) whether there was a significant difference of motivation beetwen students who were taught using CIRC Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model and conventional method on koloid materials. Quasi-experimental with nonequivalent control group design was used as research method. The sample were students XI IPA 3  as control class and XI IPA 1 as experimental class that were determined with random sampling technique. Motivations and achievement were analyzed using U-Mann Whitney. The result of data analysis showed that there were  significant difference motivations and learning achievement beetwen students who were taught using CIRC Cooperatif Integrated Reading and Composition model and conventional method. CIRC Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model gave effect of 43.0%  influence on student achievement. Abstract

 AbstrakThe purpose of this study is to determine the different of problem solving ability before and after applied problem solving learning model with booklet and the effect of the learning model to student class XI MIA MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. The study method that used is a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest posttest design. The study subject are students of class XI MIA MAN 2 Filial Pontianak. The data are collected by test and interview. Percentage of problem solving ability after learning with problem solving model with booklet show that student with very bad category 19,23%, bad category 46,15%, good category 30,77%, and very good category 3,85%. The result of analysis data using Shapiro-Wilk test show that the different problem solving ability before and after applied problem solving learning model with booklet. The effect size value result is shown that the effect of problem solving learning model with booklet through the problem solving ability in the amount of 5,2 with high category. Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Problem Solving Model, Buffer Solution

Abstract

AbstractLearning with realistic approach is one of the approach that relevant with prevailed curriculum. There is no teaching material that appropiate with local students characteristic. To fulfil it, the researcher did the research with the purpose to develop mathmatic teaching material in cube and beam subject. This research used ADDIE model, which has 5 steps namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The quality of teaching materials was developed by three aspects, which were validation which was obtained from the questionnaire’s module score of the material’s and media’s masters,  the effectiveness which was obtained from student’s score of post test, and pratical aspect based on the student’s result of their respon on the questionnaire. The result of this research showed three modul’s quality based on three aspects. From the validity, the researcher obtained the mean score was 3,9 which categorize as valid. From the effectiveness, it was obtained the class mean score was 76,77 and 73 % of their learning test result which categorized as good. Based on the practical aspect, the mean score was 4,44 which categorized as a very good. It conclude that the module which was used in this research was valid, effective, and practice. Keywords :  teaching material, cube and beam, RME
