Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to analyze application of the method recitation on learning outcomes in sociology subject to the sciences social XI 1 Islamiyah Senior High School Pontianak. The method used was an experimental method, while the design used was Quasy-experimental designwith One-group pretest-postest design. The populations in this study were 59 students of the XI grade. Samples in this study were 29 students of the XI IPS1 grade. The research instrument was learning test outcomes in form of 10 multiple choice questions. Data collection techniques used in this study was the measurement technique. The Hypothesis test results using t-test obtained t-observed (159,32)> t-table (2.048), with the effect size obtained by 0.96. It can be concluded that there are a significant effect in the application of Make a Match Learning Model toward students’ learning outcomes in Sociology Education Subjects to the XI IPS 1 grade students. Keywords: Application Of The Method Recitation, Learning Outcomes, Sociology Education.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the application of group work methods in improving social science learning outcomes of students grade V elementary school 09 Sujah Bengkayang. The research method used in this research is descriptive, the form of research that is classroom action research, the nature of research is collaborative. Subjects in this study are teachers and students of class V. Data collection techniques in this study is direct observation and measurement. This study was conducted as much as two cycles. The results of the research are (1) The ability of teachers in designing learning cycle I ie 3.43 (good) and cycle II of 3.78 (very good). (2) The ability of teachers in implementing learning in the first cycle is 3.09 (good) and cycle II of 3.86 (very good). (3) Student learning result by using group work method on social science learning in class V SD 09 Sujah on silus I equal to 74,08 and cycle II to 85,35. Conclusion in this research is social science learning using group work method can improve student learning result class V SD 09 Sujah,Bengkayang. Keywords: Group Work, Learning Outcomes, Social Science.

Abstract

  Abstract The general problem of this research is to know whether the use of role playing method can improve the speaking skill of VB students of Elementary School 17 Pontianak Kota. The general purpose of this research is to improve the students' speaking skill by using role playing method in grade V students of State Elementary School 17 Pontianak City. The method used in this research is descriptive method with class action research form. Subjects in this study were 36 students of VB class. The procedure in this study consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this study are direct observation techniques and documentary techniques. Data collection techniques used in this study is the observation sheet. The results of this study: (1) Teaching and learning ability of teachers is very good because in the first cycle I meeting is 3.26, at the second meeting rose to 3.4. On the second cyclu of the first meeting to increase to 3.67 and the second increase to 3.86. (2) Teachers who do the learning ability very well because in the first cycle I meeting is 3.3 at the second meeting 3.43. Experienced an increase in cycle II of meeting I was 3.61 and at the second meeting to 3.97. (3) Improving students' speaking skills using role playing method is good because in the first cycle of meeting I the student's average score is 40,97 experiencing improvement in second meeting become 51,04. In the second cycle of meeting I was 65.80 and at the second meeting the increase became 84.55. Keywords: Keywords: speaking skills, role playing methods

Abstract

AbstractTeaching materials are like the bridge that connect the teacher and the students. They emphasize “teaching” from the teacher and “learning” from the students. In a textbook, the vocabulary has an important role. The vocabulary is the basic material that constructs a textbook which we have to master it if we want to learn a language. To know the writing system of the vocabularies in teaching material《 hanyu kouyu sucheng 》,the writer used literature study method to research the number, the difficulty, and the variety of the vocabularies, such as noun, adjective, and so on. After doing the research, the writer could conclude in general that the writing of teaching material《 hanyu kouyu sucheng 》had been in accordance with scientific principle which had a clear level of vocabulary difficulty, in which every level of the textbook had different difficulty, the higher of the level then the vocabulary in the textbook also became more difficult. After doing this research, the writer hopes that the result of this research can provide reference and suggestion to the Mandarin teacher in closing the textbook or teaching material for teaching a conversation.Keywords: Teaching Material for Conversation, Vocabulary, Hanyu Kouyu Sucheng

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to find out the role of parents with HIV / AIDS as the motivator, facilitator and mediator to children's education in Pontianak city. The research method applied descriptive research which is in the form of qualitative research. Sample of this research was taken from the parents with HIV and companions suffering HIV. Instrument of data collection in this study was guided observation, guided interview and documentation study. The results proved that: (1) the role of the parents with HIV as motivator to children's education to be categorized well by advising their descendants to frequently have worship, to study harder in school and also to keep the way of associating with social environment. (2) the role of the parents with HIV as facilitators in education was categorized good enough, because the parents have been providing children for certain facilities, such as desks, books, stationery and bags. (3) the role of the parents with HIV as mediators to children's education was categorized good, due to the parents keep involving children to socialize with the community.            Keywords: the Role of Parents, HIV / AIDS, Children's Education

Abstract

AbstractThe method used is descriptive method with research form research counseling guidance action, and is collaborative. The research location is located at State Senior High School 10 Pontianak, especially in class XII IPS 2, amounting to 34 students. Tekinik data collection used direct observation techniques, measurement techniques and communication techniques with data collection tool that is the observation sheet and test questions. Data analysis technique used is calculate the result of value obtained and percentage.From the data obtained shows that by using the activities of classical information services can improve students' understanding on the preparation to enter married life in class XII IPS 2 State Senior High School 10 Pontianak.Keyword : collaborative, classical, preparation to enter married

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this thesis is “Whether the application of contextual teaching and learning in natural science learning can improve the process skills of fourth grade students of  Bawamai Pontianak Elementary School ?”. The purpose of general research is to describe the ability of teachers to design and implement learning science and describe the improvement of students  process skills with the application of  contextual teaching and learning. The subject of this research is a teachers implementing the action and Class IV B as much as 36 students The design of this study uses a class action design. Data collection tool used in this research is observation, test and documentation in the form of photo and video during the research. The results obtained are the average score of teacher's ability to plan the learning natural science is very good that is an increase from 78 to 98. The ability of teachers in implementing science lessons with a very good category that is 62 to 84. That is, the application of contextual teaching and learning gave effect the process skills of fourth grade students of Bawamai Pontianak Elementary School. Keywords : Contextual Teaching and Learning,  Process Skill, Science Learning

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research in which there are unique features of property form and clothing used by Balinggang Baga’ dance. Specifically, the problem of this research is how the form property and the meaning of Balinggang Baga’ property Bengkayang Regency.The method used in this research is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. The approach used is semiotics is the science of signs. Sources of data in this study Mr Bujang, Mr. Nadu and Mrs. Niti. Mechanical testing the validity of data in the form of an extension of the observation and triangulation. The results of this study is to analyze the meaning of dance Balinggang Baga’ property ', is meetings with speakers who know the history of dance Balinggang Baga'. Analyzing the form and meaning dance property Balinggang Baga'through interviews with informants.Forms of property that resembles a woman trusted by the community to provide fertility for married couples and safety for a mother who will give birth. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan proses belajar siswa menggunakan media gambar dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam kelas II SDN Nanga Menterap. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif, pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri atas 2 siklus, tiap siklus meliputi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan,obsevasi,dan,refleksi. Hasil penelitian yang dapat peneliti sajikan adalah sebagai berikut: pada siklus I hasil belajar siswa mencapai 61,25. Sedangkan pada siklus II, nilai rata ?rata siswa  mencapai78,75.  Subjek penelitian yaitu murid kelas II SDN 04 Nanga Menterap yang berjumlah 18 orang dan guru kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 04 Nanga Menterap. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi langsung, alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar ilmu pengetahuan alam siswa, menggunakan media Gambar dapat ditingkatkan. Saran yang diberikan adalah guru menggunakan jenis-jenis tumbuhan dan hewan menggunakan media gambar. Kata Kunci: Media Gambar, Hasil Belajar Siswa Abstrak: Research aims to describe the increase in student learning using images media in sains class II SDN Nanga Menterap.the research uses descriptive method,qualitative and quantitative approache to the two cycles,eachcycle includes,planning,action observation, and reflection. The research results can serve researchers are as ensuing:in the first cycle of student learning out comes reached 61,25. While in the second cycle the average value of students reaching 78,75. Reseach subjects are students of SDN 04 class II Nanga Menterap. Data collection tecnigues are direct observation technigues, data colletion tools used were observation sheet. Research and discussion of the results of the study it was concluded that sains students using media images can be enhanced. Abstract

AbstractThe impact of broken home parents’ conditions on students’ learning motivation is the reality that has a negative implication for health personality expansion, and environment factor in personality expansion. However, broken home factor has a big role nowadays. This research used descriptive method and the research form was survey research form. The subject of this research was five students, one guidance teacher, and five students’ friends. This research used qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the result of this research, the impact of broken home parents in students’ learning motivation on grade seventh of SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak influences students’ learning outcomes and also the behavior of students. Impact was divided into two, namely positive and negative. One student had very good learning motivation and four students were experience low learning motivation. Student learning outcomes as well as students influenced in grade VII of SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak  are influenced by the broken impact of student learning motivation.Keywords: Broken Home Family, Impact, Learning Motivation
