Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengendalian sosial perilaku menyimpang anak kos oleh tokoh masyarakat di lingkungan RW 01 Kelurahan Bansir Laut Kecamatan Pontianak Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Alat pengumpulan data adalah panduan observasi, panduan wawancara, Buku catatan dan arsip-arsip. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengendalian sosial perilaku menyimpang anak kos oleh tokoh masyarakat telah melakukan pengendalian terhadap anak kos dengan teguran, hukuman dan dikeluarkannya anak kos jika melakukan pelanggaran yang berat seperti melakukan tindakan asusila. Kata Kunci:    Pengendalian Sosial, Perilaku Menyimpang Anak Kos, Tokoh Masyarakat Abstract: This research was to know social control for deviant behavior of  children boarding by public figures in RW 01 urban village Bansir Laut of Pontianak Southeast district. This research used qualitative approach to descriptive method. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview and the study of documentation. The research instruments were the observation, interview, books and archival records. This research showed that  the social control of deviant behavior by children boarding by public figures have been performing control on children boarding with reprimands, punishment and issuing a children boarding  if violations are severe like immoral actions.  Keyword: Social Control, Deviant Behavior Of  Children Boarding, Public  Figures

 AbstractThe influence of self-concept of academic to student result of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan, with problem formulation is there influence of academic self concept to result of student learning of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. The Method used is associative method with ex-postfacto research, the sample taken is the whole of teh population amounted to 67 student. Date were teken with indirect communication technique(quetionnaire), direct communication(interview), and documentary study(ducument). The test requirements used are validity test and rebility test. Data processing techniques using sample linear regression with the help of SPSS program version 16.0. The results showed that there is a significant influence between self-concept academic on student learning outcomes XI IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan. This can be seen from correlation table which shows that value of significance =0,000 meaning <0,05 with this means there is influence between academic self-concept of student learning outcomes. The persentage of influence of self-concept of academic toward learning result is 55,1% which means student’s learning result is determined by student’s own academic self concept, while the rest 44,9% is determinet by outherfctor which not discussed in this research. Keywords : Academic Self Concepts, Learning Outcomes, Economic SubjectsÂ

Abstract The influence or function of the referring word to the learning of Mandarin characters is to explain the meaning of the Chinese characters. "referring" is to use the sign to point, and explain the object of the Chinese characters. Using that way for the creation of Chinese characters is called "referring word?. When learning Chinese characters, students easily forget the shape and meaning of Chinese characters. So author uses this method to assist and facilitate of second-grade students Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum in learning the form and meaning of Mandarin characters and prove the effect of the use of " referring word" in recognizing the meaning of Chinese characters. Through three times teaching process, the author provides the ultimate test to students. After the study, the results obtained by the author is "referring word" clearly can enhance students' knowledge in recognizing the shape and meaning of Chinese characters, it also can improve student test scores . The student's final test score is higher than the initial test score. The students initial test scores is 43.33%, and after using the referring word, the average value of the student's final test increased be 83.98%. The author takes the value of school graduation competency standard (75)/ his indicates that the use of "referring word" affect the students are able to understand the content of teaching and also know the meaning of letters Mandarin faster. Therefore, after using "referring word" to teach students the results obtained that there is an increase in learning the meaning of Mandarin characters. AbstractThe term of costum ceremony in Dayak Bakati? community at Segiring Village is seen from the inventory, the lexical meaning, and the cultural sense. The research method was descriptive linguistics. The research approach was semantic approach. The source of research was the speech of Dayak language Bakati? Segiring dialect spoken by native speakers of Segiring village, Tujuh Belas Subdistrict, Bengkayang Regency. The technique of research was interview, record, notebook, and documentation. The tool of data collection was voice recorder and notebook. Based on the research, the researcher collect 64 terms in the nyabakng ceremony. The data was obtained from the interview and recording process. The terms of the traditional ceremony in the study consisted of 12 tool terms, 48 material terms, 3 terms of offender, and 1 place term. The term of ceremony consist of two terms, 39 terms of monomorfemis (single word) and the 25 terms of phrases. The term in the costum ceremony has a 64 terms of lexical meaning, and 50 terms of cultural sense.Keywords: Terminology, Nyabakng traditional ceremony, Dayak Bakati?.

 AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of inquiry method on student learning outcomes in science lessons in class V SDN 16 Pontianak Kota. The experimental research used quasi experimental design type Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this research is class V A totaling 27 students. The technique used in data collection is measurement. Data collection tool used is a test with the type of written test in the form of objective amounted to 40 questions. Based on calculation of mean statistic of control class learning result 60,76 and average result of experiment class study 75,85, result of hypothesis test of data (t-test) obtained t_hitung (5,959)> t_tabel (2,054), significant level (α = 5%) of 2.054, then Ha is accepted which means there is influence of inquiry method toward student learning outcomes in science learning in class V SDN 16 Pontianak Kota. From the calculation of effect size (ES) obtained by 1.41, it means that the learning with the inquiry method gives a high influence on the students' learning outcomes in science lesson in class V SDN 16 Pontianak Kota.      Keyword : Inquiri Method, Study Result, Natural Science

AbstractThe general problem of this research was the analysis of the value of character education in the novel Anak Rantau by Ahmad Fuadi. Novel Anak Rantau tells the story of a child named Hepi who was abandoned by his father in Tanjung Durian village and lived with his grandparents. The problems of this research are: (1) the value of honest character education, (2) the value of hard work character education, (3) the value of sincere character education. The purpose of this research is to describe the value of character education and reader responses. This study uses a description method with qualitative research forms. Data from this study are sentences that show the value of honest character education, hard work, and sincerity. The technique used in this study is documentary study, and the data collection tool is the researcher himself as a key instrument. Based on the results of data analysis there are 36 data values of honest character education, 22 data on the value of character hard work education, and 35 data on the value of sincere character education.Keywords: Value of Character Education, Anak Rantau

AbstractThis research aims to find the effectiveness of the realistic mathematics education approach in learning cube and rectangular parallelepiped materials at SMP N 7 Pontianak. The method used in this research is pre-experimental method with one-shot case study design. The aspects that be used to determine the effectiveness of the realistic mathematics education approach are student?s activity, teacher?s realization lesson plan, student?s responses, and student?s learning outcomes. The used data collection technique are observation and indirect communication techniques. The used data collection tools are the student?s learning outcomes test, which contains 4 essay questions, the observation sheet of student?s activity, the observation sheet of teacher?s realization lesson plan, and student?s responses questionnaire. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results that obtained are student?s activity is classified as active, teacher?s realization lesson plan is classified as very good, student?s learning completeness classically is not fulfilled ( of 34 students are not complete), and positive responses by the student. So the learning using the realistic mathematics education approach in learning cube and rectangular parallelepiped materials at SMP N 7 Pontianak is not effective.                         AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the use of teaching method in teaching sociology at MAS mambaul ulum 2 korek. The method of this research was descriptive method. The collecting data was used observation, interviewing, and documentation. The data source was the teacher of sociology at Mas mambaul 2 korek. The result is showed that teacher had been used any other methods. The teacher only used Leatoring method, ask and answer tehcnique, discussion and assignment. However, the teacher used to teach leatoring method and ask and answer tehcnique. According to teacher those methods Were not taking much time and it is easier to diliver the material to student. Cause the students were less responsive and also less attention in academic. The enviroment of school was less support to teaching variation. Therefore, the result of learning with teaching method is not really satifying.. Key method: Teaching Method, Sociology Learning

AbstractThe general problem in this study is "Is it related to motivation and discipline with learning outcomes in learning Citizenship Education class V 15 South Pontianak State Elementary School?". This research uses a descriptive method with a form of relationship study research. The population as well as the sample are all grade V students issued by 23 people consisting of one class. Sampling uses Nonprobability sampling technique with saturated sampling type. Data collection techniques and tools used are indirect communication with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documentary study techniques, which are data collection tools in the form of even semester report cards on Civics Education subjects. The results showed that motivation in South Pontianak 15 Elementary School was classified as very good at 88.17%, discipline in 15 Pontianak South Elementary School was classified as very good at 87.52%, and learning outcomes in the Civics Education lesson obtained an average value of an average of 82.83. The average between motivation and discipline of learning with student learning outcomes of 0.483 then the value compared with rtable at the level of 5% for N = 24 is 0.404. Thus r count> from r table or 0.483> 0.404, then Ha is accepted. Significant learning between motivation and discipline with learning outcomes in learning Citizenship Education class V 15 Primary School South Pontianak. Keywords: Citizenship Education , Discipline, learning outcomes, Motivation.

Abstract In this study the authors will examine whether School Principal Supervision and Climate School organization affect the performance of teachers (PNS) in SMA Negeri in Sub-Rayon 2 Sambas District. The number of respondents from 10 SMA Negeri in Sub-Ryon 2 was 102 respondents. The research approach used quantitatively with descriptive and parametric analysis techniques. The results showed that Supervision performed by headmaster in Sub-Rayon 2 Sambas District was in good enough category with an average acquisition of 82,27. The results of the hypothesis of supervision of principal (X1) on teacher performance (Y) in obtaining the value of P value of 0.027 ˂ 0.05.It is an acceptance of Ha (alternative Hypothesis), so it is concluded that there is influence of School Supervision on teacher Performance. Ther esult of test of second hypothesis Climate of School Organization (X2) to performance (Y) obtained p value 0,007 ˂ 0,05. This shows the acceptance of Ha(Alternative Hypothesis) so it can be concluded that the Climate School organization (X2) affects the performance of teachers (Y).  Keywords: Headmaster Supervision, School Climate Organizations, Teacher Performance.
