Abstract

Abstract : Penelitian ini mengamati bagaimana siswa meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara mereka menggunakan teknik role play yang diterapkan didalam kelas melalui skrip percakapan relaying the telephone messages. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 18 Pontianak kelas 8 (delapan) dengan menggunakan metode classroom action research (CAR). Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 32 orang siswa terdiri atas 2 (dua) cycle. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan role play dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa terutama dalam percakapan relaying telephone messages. Pada cycle 1, masalah-masalah yang dihadapi oleh siswa dalam berbicara nampak jelas terlihat. Siswa banyak membuat kesalahan terutama dalam aspek pronunciation contohnya pada kata-kata seperti “could”, “right”, “message” serta aspek kosakata dan ekspresi. Namun siswa belum memenuhi nilai KKM pada cycle 1 dimana pencapaian siswa hanya 48,2. Oleh karena itu, penulis melanjutkan penelitian cycle 2 agar kemampuan berbicara siswa dapat ditingkatkan. Pada cycle 2, penulis dibantu oleh kolaborator dalam menyiapkan lembar simulasi siswa atau lembar contoh percakapan yang bertujuan memudahkan siswa dalam menghafal informasi yang tertera pada lembar kosong yang disesuaikan dengan informasi masing-masing siswa. Ternyata dengan strategi ini cukup efektif dan suskes. Siswa akhirnya dapat mencapai nilai 66,9. Disamping itu permasalahan siswa pada aspek pronunciation, vocabulary and expression dapat teratasi. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Berbicara Siswa, Menyampaikan Pesan Bertelepon Abstract : This research investigated how the students had improved their speaking skills when the role play technique was applied into the classroom through the scripted conversation of relaying the telephone messages. It was conducted in SMPN 18 Pontianak on the eighth grade students using classroom action research method.  There were 32 students which was done into two cycles. The result of the research proved that using role play could improve the students’ speaking skills especially in relaying telephone messages. In cycle 1, the students showed their issues in speaking. They made mistakes particularly on pronunciation for example the words of “could”, “right”, “message” etc as well as vocabulary and expression aspects. The class was noisy and some were active talking but some were less paid attention. The students did not fulfill KKM on cycle 1, it was only 48,2. Therefore, the writer would conduct cycle 2 to make the students get improved on speaking. In cycle 2, the writer was assisted by her collaborator to provide the student the simulation or sample conversation sheets. It was intended to make the students would memorize easily since the information on the blank sheet as accordance with their own information. Result of it that there was effective and worked successful. The students finally reached mean score of 66,9. Moreover, their issues about pronunciation, vocabulary and expression could be solved as well.   Key Word: Speaking Skills, Role Play

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Card Sort dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional pada materi koloid kelas XI SMAN 10 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Exsperimental Design) dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “Nonequivalent Control Group Design”. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dan XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diperoleh dengan teknik  Purposive Sampling. Tes hasil belajar dan angket motivasi siswa digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data. Berdasarkan analisis data posttest dan angket motivasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan uji U Mann Whitney (α = 5%) diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig(2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 dan 0,000. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar antara siswa yang diberi pembelajaran  menggunakan strategi pembelajaran Card Sort dengan siswa yang diberi pembelajaran  menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Pembelajaran  menggunakan  strategi  pembelajaran Card Sort pada materi koloid di SMAN 10 Pontianak memberikan pengaruh sebesar 34,38 % dengan kategori tinggi terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Strategi Pembelajaran Card Sort , Hasil Belajar, Motivasi Belajar, Koloid Abstract: The aims of this study was to determine whether motivation and learning outcomes of students have a significant difference after being taught using Card Sort  and conventional strategies on colloidal material class XI SMAN 10 Pontianak. Form of the study was "Nonequivalent Control Group Design". Samples were students of class XI IPA 2 as the control class and XI IPA 1 as  experimental class. They were selected through simple random sampling technique. Pretest, posttest and questionnaire were used to collect data. According to test result, and questionnaire data analysis using U Mann Whitney test (α = 5%), Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) were 0.000 and 0.000 respectively. These meant that there was a significant difference in learning outcomes and learning motivation among students who were taught using Card Sort and conventional strategies. Learning using Card Sort strategy had 34.38% influence on increasing students learning outcomes on colloidal properties of matter at SMAN 10 Pontianak. Abstract

AbstractThis research is aimed to overcome  the lack of  the studying results of  the writing poem subject in the class V SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan,by using picture and picture method it can make them easier in  writing  poems. The method that using in this research was Descriptive  method in form Classroom Action Research and colaborative by refered to  the Classroom Action Research as, planning, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research was students of class V SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan in this research were 25 students of class V semester 2 academic year 2017/2018. Data collecting techniques in this research were observation,data analysis, and averege. This research result found there was improvement,  (a ) teacher ability in make a palnning to writing  poem by using pictures and pictures model on cycle 1 is 2,28(good enough). In  cycle 2  is 3,28 ( good ), then in cycle 3 is 3,55 ( very good ). (b) the teacher ability in implementing write poem by using picture and picture poem in cycle 1 is 3,15 (good enough), cycle 2 is 3,28 (good ), cycle 3 is 3,70 ( very good ). ( c ) increasing students’ ability in write poem by using picture and picture model we can see in cycle 1 average = 67 (good enough), cycle 2 average = 71(good ),cycle 3 average = 80 ( very good ). In the other words, picture and picture model in this research in Bahasa indonesia  in class V of SDN 20 Pontianak Selatan is success.Keywords: Writing Skill, Pictures and Pictures Model, Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstractCareer maturity is the succes of  learners to complete the ask of development in accordance with the stages of career development. This  study aims to analyze of career maturity student  XI of SMK Negeri 01 Belimbing Hulu Kabupaten Melawi  Year 2017. The method used is descriptive method and the form of  research is survey form. The population in this study as many as 31 students. This research uses quantitative research. Data collection techniques used are direct communication in the form of interviews and indirect communication techniques in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. Based on the results of data analysis  career maturity service research about readiness to achieve the score in the category of "Good". This proves that learnes have a good career maturity for choices in the future.   Keywords : Career Maturity

Abstract

 AbstractThe problems in this research is the implementation of attainment concept learning with scientific approach towards student learning activity in economics subject at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak.The form of this research was a quasy experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. About 38 students on experiment class, XI IPS 1 that is the lowest student learning activity given treatment use the attainment concept learning with scientific approach. In this research, data is collected by observation sheets of student learning activity, observation sheets of learning, interview teachers and students, and documentation learning. Analysis techniques the data used the descriptive analysis. The result showed that in general the application of attainment concept learning with scientific approach is going well, and increased of student learning activity from meeting 1 namely 58,64 % category sufficient and 67,90 % at a meeting 2 category good. It means attainment concept learning with scientific approach increased student learning activity on grade XI IPS 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pontianak.Keywords: Attainment Concept Learning, Scientific Approach, Student Learning Activity

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research is whether there is any influences of problem solving strategy to the acquisition of learning by word problems of Mathematics in Pontianak State Elementary School. This study aims to see whether there is influence of problem-solving strategies on the acquisition of mathematics learning in Pontianak Elementary. The method used is experimental with Pre-Experimental type of One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. The population is Elementary School 11 Pontianak with the sample used is students of class IIIB who consists of 39 learners. The technique used is the measurement technique. Data collection tools in the form of learning acquisition test in essay are 4 questions. Based on statistical calculation from mean Post-Test experimental class 69,34 obtained t_count equal to 41,3070615 and t  (α = 5% and dk = 39 - 1 = 38) equal to 2,0252. Thus count (41.3070615)> t_table (2.0252), then Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence in the use of problem-solving strategies on the acquisition of learning word problems of math in Elementary School 11 Pontianak. From the calculation of the effect size (ES), obtained 1.77137939 (pertained high). This means that learning by using problem solving strategies by word problems has a high influence on the acquisition of mathematics learning in the students of third grade of Elementary School 11 Pontianak. Keywords: Problem Solving Strategy, Acquisition of Learning, Mathematics

Abstract

Abstract: This research was intended to create interactive multimedia  with multirepresentation approach to gain study result of student class X MIPA at SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak on the concept of Archimedes theory equipped with using manual. The method of research that was applied in this research was developmental research with procedural model which referred to research and development of Borg and Gall. There were 62 students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak who took part in this research. The study result of concept of Archimedes theory was shown by the increasing numbers of students who could solve problem related to Archimedes theory. The problem solving was shown by giving test about concept of Archimedes theory to students to be done precisely. The concept of Archimedes theory used in this research was comparing the mass of an object in the air and water, sinking event, floating event and flying event. Based on the research result there was significant increasing of study result of students in doing test for all indicators, that was 53.45%. In conclusion, interactive multimedia with multirepresentation approach was effective to decrease the numbers of students who could not solve problem on the concept of Archimedes theory. Keywords: development, interactive multimedia, multirepresentation, study result, Archimedes theory Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan multimedia interaktif pendekatan multirepresentasi untuk perolehan belajar pebelajar kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak pada konsep hukum Archimedes dilengkapi dengan buku panduan penggunaannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan dengan model prosedural dengan berpedoman kepada penelitian dan pengembangan Borg and Gall. Sebanyak 62 pebelajar kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Perolehan belajar konsep hukum Archimedes ditunjukkan dengan semakin banyaknya pebelajar yang dapat memecahkan masalah-masalah berkaitan dengan hukum Archimedes. Pemecahan masalah ditunjukkan dengan cara memberikan soal-soal konsep hukum Archimedes untuk diselesaikan dengan betul oleh pebelajar. Konsep Hukum Archimedes yang digunakan yaitu membandingkan berat benda di udara dan di air, peristiwa tenggelam, peristiwa mengapung dan peristiwa melayang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terjadi perubahan perolehan belajar pebelajar yang signifikan dalam menyelesaikan soal untuk semua indikator soal tes, yaitu sebesar 53,45 %. Dengan demikian, multimedia interaktif pendekatan multirepresentasi efektif untuk mengurangi jumlah pebelajar yang tidak dapat memecahkan masalah pada konsep hukum Archimedes.   Kata kunci: Pengembangan, Multimedia Interaktif, Multirepresentasi, Perolehan Belajar, Hukum Archimedes

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to determine the effect of cooperative learning model on STAD type on students’ absortion in learning pianika ensemble Grade VIII of SMPN 1 Ledo.This research was an experimental study using research design of one group pretest-posttes design. The independent variable in this research was the cooperative learning model of STAD type while the dependent variable was students’ absorption. The subjects of this research were students of Grade VIII A as many as 33 students. The data collection techniques used were interviews and tests. The data analysis techniques consisted of three stages. Those were  the stage of data description, the stage of analysis requirement test and the stage of hypothesis test. The stage of data description included the distribution of students’ absorption data. The stage of analysis requirement test included normality test. While the stage of hypothesis testing used Paired T-test with a significance level of 5%. The calculation process used the computer of SPSS program version 17.0 for windows. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model of STAD type had a better performance towards increasing the students’ absorption in the learning of pianika ensembles in Grade VIII A of SMPN 1 Ledo.Keywords: model of STAD, absorption, pianic ansemble.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of self efficacy on entrepreneurial motivation on FKIP UNTAN economic education students. The research method used is descriptive with a form of relationship study. Respondents of this study were all students of the economic education FKIP UNTAN class of 2015, 2016 and 2017 Regular / class: A / Morning. The number of population in this study was 191 people, with a total sample of 89 people. The sampling technique in this study uses simple random sampling technique. For data collection using indirect communication techniques (questionnaire), the results showed that there was an effect of self efficacy on entrepreneurial motivation on FKIP UNTAN economic education students which was shown at the significance of α 0.05> 0,000. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination in this study amounted to 22.6% while the remaining 77.4% was influenced by the independent variables that not examined in this study Keywords:  Self Efficacy, Entrepreneurial Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this research was "Is there any influence of realistic mathematic education to learning result of FPB and KPK of fourth grade student of State Elementary School 09 Pontianak Barat?". The research method used in this research was the experimental method with quasi experimental design (Quasi Experimental Design), with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design experiment design. The sample selection was done by simple random sampling technique. Data collection tool in the form of observation sheet, document of learning result, and test result of student learning in the form of essay matter with 10 question. Based on the statistical calculation of the average learning result of the final test of the experimental class 79,20 and the mean of final test result of control class 67,68 obtained the final test data counted 2,549 and ttable (?= 5% and dk 32 + 33 -2 = 64) of 1.670133, because tcount (2.549)>ttable (1.670133), then Ha is accepted. From the calculation of effect size (ES), obtained ES of 0.583 (medium criterion). This means the use of realistic mathematic education on learning FPB and KPK gave a moderate effect on student learning outcomes in grade IV State Elementary School 09Pontianak Barat. Keywords:Influence, Learning Outcomes, Realistic Mathematic Education.
