Abstract

Background: Recent animal studies revealed the decreased amount of retinal ganglion cells after treatment with ethambutol. The aim of this study was to evaluate the changes of peripapillary retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickness in patients receiving ethambutol therapy, as well as to know the correlation of RNFL thickness changes with the changes of visual function.Methods: This was a cohort study on 29 subjects at one tuberculosis treatment center, Jakarta. Subjects underwent RNFL thickness measurement using optical coherence tomography (OCT) and several visual function parameters (visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, color sensitivity and visual field) before and two-months following ethambutol therapy. Statistical comparison between pre- and post- ethambutol measurements were done using either paired T-test or Wilcoxon test. Correlations between anatomical and functional changes were assessed with Spearman correlation test. Results: There were significant changes of peripapillary RNFL thickness in superior (147 and 141 μm, p = 0.001), nasal (92 and 88 μm, p = 0.045) quadrants and average RNFL thickness (116.77 and 112.65 μm, p = 0.001). No significant correlation between RNFL thickness changes and the changes of visual function parameters (p > 0.05).Conclusion: Ethambutol consumption for two months in recommended dose is still considered safe to human retina and visual status.

Abstract

Abstract In this study the authors will examine whether School Principal Supervision and Climate School organization affect the performance of teachers (PNS) in SMA Negeri in Sub-Rayon 2 Sambas District. The number of respondents from 10 SMA Negeri in Sub-Ryon 2 was 102 respondents. The research approach used quantitatively with descriptive and parametric analysis techniques. The results showed that Supervision performed by headmaster in Sub-Rayon 2 Sambas District was in good enough category with an average acquisition of 82,27. The results of the hypothesis of supervision of principal (X1) on teacher performance (Y) in obtaining the value of P value of 0.027 ˂ 0.05.It is an  acceptance of Ha (alternative Hypothesis), so it is concluded that there is influence of School Supervision  on teacher Performance. Ther esult of test of second hypothesis Climate of School Organization (X2) to performance (Y) obtained p value 0,007 ˂ 0,05. This shows the acceptance of Ha(Alternative Hypothesis) so it can be concluded that the Climate School organization (X2) affects the performance of teachers (Y).  Keywords: Headmaster Supervision, School Climate Organizations, Teacher Performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to determine the gambir agribusiness and analyze the prospects of financial development of gambier sap in Toman Village. Determination of location is done intentionally (purposive). The research method used in this study is (Case Study) and the sampling method used is Purposive Sampling. Field research was conducted from March to May 2019. In agribusiness, gambier plants carried out by farmers are as follows: Subsystem procurement of production facilities such as seeds, fertilizer, Farm subsystem starts from the nursery, planting, maintaining, and harvesting. The processing subsystem in general still applies traditional technology, even though it uses a gambier leaf shredder. Marketing subsystem includes players, from middlemen / collectors. Base on finansial feasibility a positive NPV value of Rp. 517.118.868,5, and IRR of 27,962 % is greater that discount rate of 12 % of loan interest rate. It can be concludedthat the prospect of developing gambir sap in the village of toman is quite good and worth developing. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sistem agribisnis gambir dan menganalisis prospek pengembangan getah gambir secara finansial di Desa Toman. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah (Case Study) dan metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2019. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode wawancara langsung.. Secara agribisnis tanaman gambir terdiri dari Subsistem pengadaan sarana produksi seperti bibit,pupuk Subsistem usahatani dimulai dari persemaian, penanaman, pemeliharaan, dan panen. Subsistem pengolahan secara umum masih menerapkan teknologi tradisional, meskipun sudah menggunakan mesin penghancur daun gambir. Subsistem pemasaran melibakan mulai dari petani, tengkulak/ pedagang pengepul. Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan finansial yang telah dilaksanakan diperoleh NPV yang bernilai positif sebesar Rp. 517.118.868,5, IRR sebesar 27,962 % lebih besar dari tingkat diskonto sebesar 12 persen dari suku bunga pinjaman dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara prospek pengembangan getah gambir di Desa Toman cukup bagus dan layak diusahakan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to look at how the area of land area, education, experience, and age in influencing the decisions of farmers in corn farming and also wanted to find out how much money is corn farmers in Rantau Durisan 1 Village, Lempuing Jaya District, Ogan Komering Ilir District. This research was conducted in Rantau Durian 1 Village in September - November 2019. The method used was a survey method. While the method, the example used  is  Simple  Random  Sampling.  The  data  collection  method  uses  the  method  of observation and interviews. Analysis of the data used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of  research are  known  about  the  decision of  farmers in trying for  corn  farming simultaneously by factors of land area, education, experience and age. And the partial factor that opposes the decision of farmers in trying for corn farming is experience and the factors that are contrary to the results of farmers in cultivating corn farming are land area and education. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana luas lahan, pendidikan, pengalaman, dan umur dalam mempengaruhi keputusan petani dalam usahatani jagung serta ingin mengetahui seberapa besar pendapatan petani jagung di Desa Rantau Durisan 1 Kecamatan Lempuing Jaya, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Rantau Durian 1 pada bulan September – November 2019. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Sedangkan metode, contoh yang digunakan adalah Simple Random Sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diketahui tentang keputusan petani dalam mencoba usahatani jagung secara simultan oleh faktor luas lahan, pendidikan, pengalaman dan umur. Dan faktor parsial yang menentang keputusan petani dalam mengusahakan usahatani jagung adalah pengalaman dan faktor yang bertentangan dengan hasil petani dalam membudidayakan usahatani jagung adalah luas lahan dan pendidikan.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, information technology is one of the technologies that is currently developing rapidly. Information technology has now played a very important role in the world of business or business. Besides, the presentation of a good information system is very helpful in making decisions by the management appropriately and is very helpful in improving information systems within an institution. UPTD Pegandon Public Health Center as one of the public service institutions requires the existence of an information system that is fast, accurate, effective and efficient, to improve its services to patients and the related environment in it. With such a wide scope of services, of course, there are many complex problems that occur in the service process. The number of variables also determines the speed of information flow needed by users and the Puskesmas environment. The registration process, recording payment transactions, searching for patient data and patient payment reporting systems that still use manual methods, are of course also very prone to errors. To improve patient services, it is necessary to implement an Administrative Information System and the Pegandon Public Health Center UPTD is also expected to take on a role as a facilitator in developing patient services to improve and facilitate serving and providing information through Information Technology. With the Web-Based Administrative Information System, it is hoped that the performance of the Pegandon Health Center UPTD can be improved, so that the quality and quality of service increases.

Abstract

Education is a system, namely goals, educators, students, materials, methods or learning media, and the educational environment. Each component has a unique function, and each component benefits other components. In today's world, there are many problems caused by various changes, such as social and religious changes, as well as technological changes, all of which harm education. The method in this article uses library research, namely collecting data by understanding and studying theories from various literature related to the research. There are four stages of library study in research, namely preparing the necessary equipment, preparing a working bibliography, organizing time, and reading or recording research material. This system describes real events and entities, such as places, objects, and people that exist and occur, Input to the Education System The input system for education has been divided into three categories: general input, instrumental input, and local input, The educational process is always influenced by the surrounding environment, Islamic education whose function is as a transfer of valueGlobalization has brought many positive and negative impacts to people from all over the world. The positive impact of the virus can be seen in advances in information and communication technology. Abstract

This study aims to increase students' active learning in science subjects by using an artificial model based on Information Technology. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in class V with a total of 6 male students and 5 female students. This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle held two meetings. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activeness in science subjects by using a mock model from cycle I to cycle II. The increase in student activity occurred because students had understood the concept of learning science through the steps contained in the Information technology-based artificial learning model, and students were more enthusiastic in participating in the learning process. The percentage of student activity in cycle II increased from 73.8% to 82.9% classically.

Abstract

The effectiveness of learning in shaping student performance has been a primary concern in educational research. This study examines the influence of changes in teacher attitudes and teaching methods on student performance in secondary education. This issue is driven by the evolution of the education landscape, where traditional teaching methods meet the need for more dynamic and student-centered methodologies. The research problem focuses on understanding how teacher attitudes toward learning change with innovative teaching methods, affecting learning outcomes. This reflects the increasing concern among educators about the gap between traditional teaching practices and the diverse needs of today's students. Using a quantitative approach by distributing surveys to students and teachers in different schools, this research explores the relationship between teachers and teaching methods and student activities. The results show a significant relationship between positive changes in teacher attitudes, the introduction of interactive and adaptive teaching methods, and improvements in student performance metrics. The conclusion drawn from the study emphasizes the importance of teacher attitudes and teaching methods in shaping student success. It underscores the importance of creating a positive, student-centered classroom environment where teachers can adapt and respond to individual learning needs. Additionally, the findings emphasize the need for continuous professional development initiatives to enhance teacher competencies in innovative pedagogical practices. The novelty of this scholarly work lies in comprehensively examining the correlation between teacher attitudes, teaching methods, and student performance

Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh perubahan sikap guru dan metode pengajaran terhadap kinerja siswa di pendidikan menengah. Masalah ini dilatarbelakangi oleh evolusi dunia pendidikan, dimana metode pengajaran tradisional memenuhi kebutuhan metodologi yang lebih dinamis dan berpusat pada siswa. Masalah penelitian ini berfokus pada pemahaman bagaimana sikap guru terhadap pembelajaran berubah dengan inovasi yang inovatif. Metode pengajaran, mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Hal ini mencerminkan meningkatnya kekhawatiran di kalangan pendidik tentang kesenjangan antara praktik pengajaran tradisional dan beragamnya kebutuhan siswa saat ini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan mendistribusikan survei kepada siswa dan guru di sekolah yang berbeda, penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara guru dan guru . . metode pembelajaran dan aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan penting antara perubahan positif sikap guru dan pengenalan metode pembelajaran interaktif dan adaptif serta peningkatan metrik kinerja siswa. Kesimpulan yang diambil dari penelitian menekankan pentingnya sikap guru dan metode pembelajaran dalam pembentukan . siswa ' kesuksesan Hal ini menekankan pentingnya menciptakan ruang kelas yang positif dan berpusat pada siswa di mana guru dapat beradaptasi dan merespons kebutuhan pembelajaran individu. Selain itu, temuan ini menekankan perlunya inisiatif pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam praktik pedagogi inovatif. Kebaruan karya ilmiah ini adalah mengkaji secara komprehensif korelasi sikap guru, metode pengajaran, dan kinerja siswa. . Dengan memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang hubungan dinamis ini, penelitian ini memberikan informasi berharga bagi para pembuat kebijakan pendidikan, pemimpin sekolah, dan guru yang berupaya meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman belajar mengajar di lingkungan pendidikan pasca sekolah menengah.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi sekarang ini setiap perusahaan harus siap untuk menghadapi perubahan-perubahan agar dapat mempertahankan keunggulan bersaingnya. Konsumen mempunyai banyak pilihan produk yang dapat mereka beli. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan harus mampu berinovasi agar konsumen tetap memilih produk mereka. Artikel ini mereview Literature Review Keunggulan Kompetitif, yaitu: Pengaruh Inovasi, Kreativitas dan Kepuasan Konsumen, suatu studi literatur Sistem Informasi Manajemen. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini guna membangun hipotesis pengaruh antar variabel untuk digunakan pada riset selanjutnya. Hasil artikel literature review ini adalah: 1) Pengaruh Inovasi berpengaruh terhadap Keunggulan Kompetitif; 2) Kreativitas berpengaruh terhadap Keunggulan Kompetitif; dan 3) Kepuasan Konsumen berpengaruh terhadap Keunggulan Kompetitif.
