Abstract

AbstractThe general problem in this research is how analysis of the application of character education by sociology teacher to students in class x of SMAN 2 sungai raya. In this research the method used  is descriptive method with qualitative research form. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, direct communication techniques and documentary study techniques, while the data collection tools used are observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of the research it can be concluded that the analysis of the application of character education by sociology teacher to student in class x it is good enough. This can be seen from the application of religious values carried out by the teacher by guiding and directing students to carry out the routine of reading the scripture according to the beliefs held, and the application of tolerance values conducted by teacher to teach students to be more respectful of teachers and fellow students, As well as the application of disciplinary values to discipline students firmly, teachers do this in providing learning such as providing motivation, advice, direction, and strict sanctions so that students have good behavior. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana guru dalam mengkomunikasikan kehidupan sosial masyarakat dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan bagaimana mengukur keberhasilan guru dalam mengkomunikasikan kehidupan sosial masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran sosiologi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik wawancara observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah panduan wawancara, panduan observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dalam hal menyampaikan materi sudah dengan baik dan afektif karena pada saat proses pembelajaran sosiologi berlangsung siswa-siswi sangat bersemangat dan berperan aktif dipelajaran sosiologi sehingga tercipta suatu proses pembelajaran yang baik dan dengan itulah keberhasilan seorang guru dalam dapat bisa dilihat dan diukur.   Kata Kunci : Mengkomunikasikan, Kehidupan Sosial Masyarakat Abstract : This study aims to determine and describe how teachers in communicating the social life of the community in Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), and how to measure the success of teachers in communicating the social life of the community in the implementation of teaching sociology. The method used is descriptive method with data collection techniques are observation interview techniques, and documentation study. The data collection tool in this research is interview, observation guidelines, and documentation. The results showed that teachers in terms of conveying the material has been properly and affective because during the learning process of sociology in progress the students are very excited and active role in lessons sociology so as to create a good learning process and that the success of a teacher can be seen and measured.   Keyword :Communicating, Social Life Society

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model on mathematical logic material in class X Pontianak Graduation High School. The method used is descriptive method. The chosen subjects were 29 students of class X Graduation High School Pontianak. The aspect used to determine the effectiveness of learning using the STAD type cooperative learning model was student learning activities, the implementation of the teacher managing learning, student responses and completeness of student learning outcomes. The data collection techniques and tools used were direct observation techniques using observation sheets of student learning activities and the implementation of teachers managing learning, indirect communication techniques using student response questionnaires and measurement techniques using student learning outcomes tests. The research data obtained that student learning activities amounted to 49.88% with fairly active criteria, the implementation of the teacher managing learning was 3.31 with good criteria,student responses amounted to 73.08% with good criteria and completeness of results student learning in classics is 48% classified as unmet criteria. The effectiveness of learning using the STAD type cooperative learning model on mathematical logic material in class X Pontianak Graduation High School was said to be ineffective.  Keywords: Cooperative, Effectiveness, STAD

Abstract

Abstrak: Adanya ornamen-ornamen atau motif-motif Dayak yang terdapat di Kalimantan Barat terutama di Pontianak, diantaranya motif Pakis, Bunga Terong, Pucuk Rebung, dan Kamang, Maka dibuatlah karya tari yang bertujuan agar masyarakat umum yang menyaksikan mengetahui dan mengerti arti dari berbagai motif dayak yang ada di Kalimantan Barat sebagai bahan materi pengetahuan dalam media visual yang berbeda. Telah menjadikan inspirasi bagi penggarap untuk mengangkat judul garapan bernama Motif Dayak. Penggarap menggunakan metode diantaranya eksplorasi, improvisasi, pembentukan, evaluasi dan komposisi dalam proses pembuatan karya Motif Dayak. Dalam proses eksplorasi, penggarap berimajinasi, berfikir, merasakan dan merespon ornamen dan corak motif-motif dayak yang ada. Pada proses improvisasi penggarap mencoba dan mencari gerakan-gerakan yang pas sesuai dengan masing-masing motif yang ada. Dalam proses pembentukan penggarap menggabungkan gerakan-gerakan dari hasil eksplorasi dan improvisasi sehingga menjadi satu kesatuan dalam karya. Dalam proses evaluasi penggarap menilai dan menyeleksi ragam gerak yang ada dalam proses eksplorasi, improvisasi dan pembentukan yang dirasa sesuai dengan garapan. Dan pada proses komposisi penggarap menyusun dan menata gerak tari, pola lantai, kostum, properti, tata penggung, tata musik dan tata cahaya, yang dirasa sesuai dan selaras dengan garapan karya Motif Dayak. Dengan menentukan judul garapan beserta metode yang digunakan yaitu eksplorasi, improvisasi, pembentukan, evaluasi dan komposisi maka terciptalah sebuah karya tari yang berjudul Motif Dayak. Kata Kunci : Motif Dayak, Gerak Tari, Metode Abstract: Those existing Dayak motives in West Kalimantan, especially in Pontianak such as Pakis, Bunga Terong, Pucuk Rebung, and Kamang. Then let the work of dance which aims to the general public know and understand the meaning of the various motives Dayak that is in West Kalimantan as a matter knowledge in visual media different. Inspired the writer to compose a dance entitled Motif Dayak. The writer applied exploration, improvisation, formation, evaluation and composition as the methods in a dance creation process. During exploration, the writer?s works deal with those existing Dayak ornament and motives for collecting the choreographic ideas. Improvisation process required the writer to search for movements that figure out the motives. Whilst in forming, the writer combines some movements developed from previous steps into a complete dance. The next cycle served as evaluation process to value and review all those movements that fit best to the theme. Finally, in composition process the writer arranged other artistic components such as costume, property, stage, music and lightning. By determining the title of the dance including the methods applied, the writer successfully created a dance composition named Motif Dayak. Keywords : Motif Dayak, dance, Method

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan media audio terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar Negeri 32 Pontianak Tenggara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen jenis eksperimen semu (quasy eksperiment), dengan desain eksperimen Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IIIA (kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas IIIC (kelas eksperimen) yang berjumlah 32 orang. Instrument untuk mengukur kemampuan berbicara berupa tes lisan sebanyak 1 soal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol adalah 52,4 dan  rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen adalah 60,3. diperoleh thitung sebesar  3,6931 pada tahap signifikansi ? = 5% diperoleh ttabel 2,0194 yang berarti thitung > ttabel (3,6931 >2,0194) berarti Ha diterima. Dari perhitungan effect size (ES), diperoleh 0,88 (kriteria tinggi). Hal ini berarti pembelajaran dengan media audio memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas III SD Negeri 32 Pontianak Tenggara. Kata Kunci : pengaruh, media audio, kemampuan Berbicara.   Abstract: This study aims to analyze how much influence the use of audio media the ability of third grade students speak State Elementary School 32 Southeast Pontianak. This study used a quasi-experimental type of experiment (quasi) with experimental design Nonequivalent Control Group Design.  Samples of this research is class IIIA (control group) amounted to 32 people, and students in grade IIIC (experimental class) totaling 32 people. Instruments to measure the ability to speak in the form of an oral test as much as 1 matter. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the average post-test control group was 52.4 and the average post-test experimental class was 60.3. obtained t count equal to 3.6931 at the stage of significance ? = 5% was obtained ttabel 2.0194 which means thitung> ttable (3.6931> 2.0194) means Ha accepted. This means learning with audio media provide a high influence on the ability to speak third grade students of SD Negeri 32.        Keywords: Influence , Audio Media , Speaking Ability .

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to examine the Music of the Eight Immortals of the Singkawang Tionghoa of West Kalimantan. This study uses the discriminative method. The form of research conducted was qualitative. The approach used in this research was ethnomusicology approach with data collection techniques used are observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. Furthermore, in this study the researchers became the key instrument, which was then assisted with other tools such as recorder, interview guide and field notes. This study used source triangulation, which is collecting data from some informants is Tjin Nen Shin, Tai Siuk Jan, H. Norman, Tjit Tji Hui and Phang Khim Thin. The results of this research are: (1) Presentation form of Music of Dewa Kecapi that was played by eight people with eight musical instrument that is Jong Khim, Thew Hian, Nyi Fu, Jai Ko Yan, Cheng, Flute, Tok and Pui. At the time of the show, the players used the costumes of the Gods. Songs played on the Eight Dewa Music Performances were traditional Chinese songs and mandarin pop songs. The main function of Music of the Eight Immortals Music as entertainment. Email: roxas113@rocketmail.com Abstract: The purpose of this research is to investigate whether the use of manga as a media is able to improve students? vocabulary of eleven grade of SMAN 3 Singkawang in academic year 2015/2016. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research that give attention to the cycle of teaching and learning in classroom to measure the improvement made from the treatment. The sample of this research was 30 students of eleven grade of Social 2. The researcher used the measurement technique to collect the data and the tool of data collecting was test and questionnaire. The researcher used the mean score for analyzing both the test result and the questionnaire result. The test result is improved from 60.17 to 68.3 while the questionnaire result is 84.85 which categorized as moderately positive. The result of test and questionnaire in this research able to satisfy the standard minimum in the school. It proves that the use of Manga is able to improve students? vocabulary. Key Words: Manga (Detective Conan), Improving Vocabulary Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pengunaan manga sebagai media mampu meningkatkan kosakata siswa kelas sebelas di SMAN 3 Singkawang tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang berfokus pada siklus pengajaran dan pembelajaran di kelas untuk mengukur peningkatan yang berasal dari treatment. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 30 siswa kelas sebelas ips 2. Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengukuran untuk mengumpulkan data dan alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah tes dan angket. Peneliti menggunakan nilai rata rata untuk menganalisa baik hasil tes maupun hasil angket. Hasil tes mengalami peningkatan dari 60.17 menjadi 68.3 sedangkan hasil angket adalah 84.85 yang dikategorikan sebagai positif menengah. Hasil dari tes dan angket dalam penelitian ini mampu mencapai standard minimal yang ada disekolah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan manga mampu meningkatkan kosakata siswa. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe and assess the correlation of academic supervision and motivation to work with the school's head teacher performance in the National High School District of Sanggau. This study uses a quantitative approach to the correlation technique. Data were obtained from 64 samples of school teachers in the National High School District of Sanggau. Data was collected by questionnaire and analyzed using multiple regression techniques. The results of correlation analysis of single and multiple regression showed that; (1) there is a positive and significant correlation academic supervision by the school head teacher performance, (2) there is a positive and significant correlation motivation to work with the school's head teacher performance. The results of multiple correlation analysis showed that the academic supervision and motivation to work together principals positively and significantly correlated with the performance of teachers in the National High School District of Sanggau. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the research was to find out the effectiveness of Four Square Writing Method in teaching analytical exposition text writing. This research used pre experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The writer used cluster random sampling in determining the sample of the research and XI MIA 1 was chosen. The data collection used writing test. The analysis of the students? results used t-test and effect size formulas. The findings showed that the t-test was higher than the ttable (13.15 > 2.750). The alternative hypothesis (Ha) ?the use of Four Square Writing Method in teaching analytical exposition text writing at the eleventh grade students is effective? was accepted. In addition, the effect size result was 2.24 (ES >0.80). Therefore, teaching analytical exposition text writing by using Four Square Writing Method was highly effective in improving students? writing achievement.   Keywords : Four Square Writing Method, Analytical Exposition Text Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari keefektifan metode Four Square Writing dalam pengajaran menulis teks eksposisi analitis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pre experimental dalam bentuk one group pre-test post-test desain. Penulis menggunakan sampel acak kelompok dalam menentukan sampel penelitian dan kelas XI MIA 1 terpilih. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes menulis. Analisis hasil siswa menggunakan rumus t-test dan efek size. Penemuan memperlihatkan nilai t-test lebih tinggi dari ttable (13.15 > 2.750). Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) ?penggunaan metode Four Square Writing dalam pengajaran menulis teks eksposisi analitis pada murid kelas sebelas adalah efektif? diterima. Sebagai tambahan, efek size perlakuan adalah 2.24 (ES >0.80). Oleh karena itu, pengajaran menulis teks eksposisi analitis menggunakan metode Four Square Writing sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil kemampuan menulis siswa.   Kata Kunci : Metode Four Square Writing, Teks Eksposisi Analitis

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is titled "The Effect of Cooperative Revenues on Members' Welfare. (Case Study in the West Kalimantan Regional Police Cooperative in Pontianak). The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques and documentary study techniques. The data collection tool uses interview guidelines, questionnaires and data.  The results of this study are as follows: 1) based on the results of a simple regression analysis between Cooperative Income items (variable X) as a whole to Member Welfare (variable Y) shows that Cooperative Income has a positive influence. 2) From the results of hypothesis testing, it is shown by the results of the calculation of the F test that shows the value of 144,882 with a probability level of 0,000 which is far below the alpha of 5%. That means that together the independent variable Cooperative Income affects Welfare. 3) The results of the analysis of the influence of items Cooperative Revenue (variable X) as a whole to the Members' Welfare (variable Y) shows that Cooperative Revenue has a positive influence, so it is usually said to have an influence, or Cooperative Income (variable X) has an effect on the Welfare (variable Y) member of the West Kalimantan Regional Police Cooperative (POLDA), namely the effect of Pearson. 787. This means that the influence between Cooperative Income (variable X) as a whole to Welfare (variable Y) is 0.787 (the relationship between the two variables is quite strong).  Keywords: Income, Welfare of Cooperative members
