Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang telah memenuhi kelayakan aspek materi dan aspek media. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan produk dengan langkah-langkah penelitian ini adalah (1) penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, (2) Perencanaan, (3) Pengembangan Produk Awal, (4) Validasi produk, (5) Revisi Produk, (6) uji coba produk berkali-kali, (7) Revisi produk (8) Produk akhir. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Rancangan pembelajaran media puzzle memuat tugas belajar, perolehan belajar, isi belajar dan skenario pembelajaran dimana evaluasi menyatu dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. (2) Profil storyboard memuat pola dasar media puzzle yang telah dinilai oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. (3) Perilaku belajar pebelajar menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle menunjukkan peningkatan kinerja pebelajar dengan penilaian tuntas. (4) Ketuntasan belajar pebelajar dalam menggunakan media puzzle.   Kata kunci     : Media puzzle, kecakapan membaca peta buta.   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the use of media that has met the eligibility material aspects and aspects of the media. A model study is a product development research with research steps are (1) research and information gathering (2) plan, (3) early product development, (4) product validation, (5) product revision, (6) product trials many times, (7) product revision, (8) the final product. The result of this study are: (1) media learning design puzzle includes the task of learning, the acquisition of learning, learning contents, and learning scenarios where evaluation integrated into learning activities, (2) storyboard profile contains archetypal media puzzle that has been assessed by expert media and subject matter experts, (3) learning behavior of learners shows that the use of media puzzle showing improved performance of learners with a thorough assessement, (4) mastery learning kearners in using media puzzle.   Keywords       : Media puzzle, blind map reading skills.

Abstract

AbstractReduplication in a collection of Kompas Chosen Short Stories 2014 Di Tubuh Tarra, dalam Rahim Pohon.This research is focused on the field of morphology, which is reduplication in a collection of Kompas Chosen Short Stories 2014 Di Tubuh Tarra, dalam Rahim Pohon. The main problem is limited to two sub-problems concerning the description of the form and the meaning of reduplication.The method used in this research is study documenter method in qualitative form. The source of data in this research is the collection of Kompas Chosen Short Stories 2014 Di Tubuh Tarra, dalam Rahim Pohon. The date in this research are the observations on words which contain forms and meanings of reduplication.Based on the results of the data analysis, it is concluded that in a collection of Kompas Chosen Short Stories 2014, there are 134 words and 134 words denote the meaning of reduplication. Keywords: Reduplication, Collection Kompas Stories.

Abstract

Abstract This research concentrates on specific relevant questions, those are how blog helps as learning tool for writing activity and the difficulties of using blog as learning tool for writing activity. Based on the research problem, the design of this research is case study. The subject of this research is one student (Miss X) who has some criteria of having the experiences in using blog, being at least a second semester student(if the student does not have any experience about blog), and having their own blog. The data were collected through interview and observation. From the findings, the researcher finds out that blog helped Miss X learning tool for writing activity by providing a journal or as a media for writing, providing motivational feedback and creating critical thinking environment. The research findings also show that there are some difficulties which faced by Miss X including some difficulties in managing time, lack of Writing skill, programming skill, Multimedia devices, readers and low internet connection.                                                                               Key Words: Analysis, Student?s Experience, Using Blog as Learning Tool, Writing Activity.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether there is an influence and how much its influence the pedagogic competence of teachers to the motivation to learn Xi Ips4 Class Students on Economics Subjects at SMAN 01 Sungai Raya in Academic Year 2018/2019 which amounted to 34 students. The method used is descriptive method. Data collected with questionnaires that have been tested validity of its reliability. The data analysis technique used is SPSS program version 17.0. the results of this study showed that after doing a simple linear regression test on the variables X and Y said that the pedagogic competence of teachers have a positive effect on students' learning motivation with the regression equation Y = 27.424 + 0.609X and has an influence of 25%. By doing hypothesis test compare significant value with 0,05, while obtained significant value equal to 0,03 <0,05 so it can be concluded that (Ha) accepted (H0) is rejected, then do hypothesis test compare value t arithmetic with t table obtained t count is 3.268> 16938 t table so that (H0) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted which means there is influence between "Teacher Pedagogic Competency on Student Motivation Motivation Class Xi Ips4 In Economic Subject At SMAN 01 Sungai Raya.  Keywords: Teacher Pedagogic Competency, Student Motivation

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyse the effect  of model Teams Games Tourgames in the learning of Science against the results of the learning learners class fifth grade ofNortht Pontianak Elementary school 25. The method used is an experiment with the form of a Quasi Experimental Design draft non equivalent control group design. The population of the entire learners from two classes totalling 46 people, the sample of this research is the learners class VB totalling 23 persons as class experiments and learners as a class VA class a control that add up to 23 people. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data-collecting instrument is the written test multiple choice-shaped.  Based on the analysis of data obtained average results post-test class experiment 77,11 and average post-test control of 73.37. Hypothesis test results using a t-test (Polled Variance) thitung = 1,989 obtained as for dk (23 + 23-2 = 44) with significant level α = 5% obtained ttabel = 1.676. The calcullation result show that thitung 1,989 > ttabel 1,676  Ha is accepted. That is, learning to use model Teams Games Tournamentin the learning Sciences learning outcomes. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size (ES) getting ES = 0.45 which includes secondary criteria. Keywords: Effect, Teams Games Tournament,Science, Results.

Abstract

Abstrack       The purposes of this study were to find out the reason of school –aged beggars in doing begging activities, the way they did begging, and their daily activities for they were not going to school as they should. This research used descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. The subject of this research were school-aged beggars who did begging activities in nusa indah III, Pontianak City. Tools of data collection in this research were observation guides, interview, and documentation studies. The results of this study showed that (1) the main reason of school-aged beggars doing begging activities was to earn money, so they could help their parents to fulfill the family’s needs. (2) School-aged beggars used techniques of pity in order to take advantages of people’s compassion so they were willing to give them money. (3) It was alsoproved that school-aged beggars, who did begging activities every day without any other activities, tend to have negative mindset.Keywords : school-aged beggars, educatinal sosiology perspective

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menfokuskan pengamatan pada objek bahasa, yaitu leksikon nama penyakit. Leksikon nama penyakit yang dimaksudkan adalah nama penyakit yang dikenal dan diketahui masyarakat Melayu Sekadau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan BMDS (bahasa Melayu dialek Sekadau) yang dituturkan oleh penutur asli masyarakat Melayu Sekadau. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu leksikon nama penyakit. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik libat cakap. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan yaitu bertanya jawab dengan mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan, mencatat dan merekam pengucapan informan, mentranskripkan, menerjemahkan, dan mengklasifikasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terhimpun 101 terdiri dari 7 leksikon nama penyakit perempuan, 5 leksikon nama penyakit laki-laki, 7 leksikon nama penyakit anak-anak, dan 83 penyakit umum yang bisa diderita oleh perempuan dan laki-laki pada usia anak-anak dan dewasa. Kata kunci: Leksikon, Nama Penyakit, Komponen makna, Antropolinguistik Abstract: This research focuses on the observation of the language object, i.e. the lexicon of disease names known to the Sekadau Malay community. The research data were collected in Peniti Village, Subdistrict of Sekadau Hilir, Sekadau Regency. The method used in this research was the descriptive method with qualitative approach. The source of data in this study is the speech of Sekadau Malay Dialect spoken by speakers of Malay community of Sekadau. The data in this study are the lexicon of disease names. The technique used in this study is the involved conversation technique. The data collection tool used was a set of questions, note-taking and recording the pronunciation of informants, transcribing, translating, and classifying it. This research managed to collect 101 words as research data consists of 7 names of women's, 5 names of men’s, 7 names of children's, and 83 common diseases that can infect women and men both during childhood and adulthood.Keywords: Lexicon, Disease Names, Meaning Components, Anthropo-linguistics

Abstract

AbstractThis quasi experiment research aimed to know the effect of realistic mathematic education approach to student’s conceptual understanding and problem solving ability in linear inequality of one variable subject. There were two class as samples of this research, there were experiment class and control class. Experiment class had 37 students and control class had 38 students. Based on result of Independent Samples T Test, the signifficant score was 0,0000. The score showed that there was difference of average score between realistic mathematic education approach and conventional approach to student’s conceptual understanding and problem solving ability. So that the effect size’s score of conceptual underpstanding was 0,78 and categorized as medium. Then, the effect size’s score of problem solving ability was 0,73 and categorized as medium. Based on these result, we can conclude there was more positive effect to student’s conceptual understanding and problem solving ability using realistic mathematic education approach in linear inequality of one variable subject than conventional approach.Keyword :Realistic Mathematich Education, conceptual understanding, problem solvng.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 55 orang dengan bentuk penelitian populasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 6,188 dan t tabel sebesar -2,006, ini menunjukan bahwa t hitung > t tabel (6,188 > 2,006) sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sedangkan besarnya pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat dapat dilihat dari nilai koefisien determinasi, yaitu sebesar 0,419 yang berarti besarnya pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 41,9% sedangkan sisanya 58,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara lingkungan keluarga terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IPS di SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak. Kata Kunci: Lingkungan Keluarga, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research aims to determine the effect of family environment on learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak . The method used is descriptive method . These samples included 55 people with the study population . Based on the results obtained by t-test t calculate of 6.188 and t table amounted to -2.006 , this shows that t calculate > t table ( 6.188 > 2.006 ) so Ho refused and Ha is received. While the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable can be seen from the coefficient of determination , that is equal to 0.419, which means the influence of family environment on student learning outcomes by 41.9 % while the remaining 58.1 % is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. So it can be concluded that there is influence between family environment on student learning outcomes on economic subjects in class XI IPS SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak Keyword: Family Environment, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis research proposed to improve students’ reading comprehension on romance narrative text by using jigsaw in which the subject was students of the eleventh grade of MAS Darul Ulum Kubu Raya in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research was conducted based on the problems found in the classroom. First, students could not comprehend the specific information from the text. Second, students were not able to identify the generic structure of the text. Third, the students learned to be passive during the teaching and learning activities. This research was conducted through a Classroom Action Research in two cycles, each cycle consisted of six stages, they were problem statement, data collection, analysis and feedback, action planning, taking action, and evaluation and follow-up. The participants of this research were the English teacher and 25 students in class eleven. The writer used observation checklist, field notes and assessments to collect the data. The writer elaborated the result of observation checklist, field notes, and students’ assessment to get the research findings.In the first cycle, the students’ mean score was 65.4 and it increased into 72.8 in the second cycle. Base on the research findings, Jigsaw could improve students’ reading comprehension on romance narrative text. Keywords: Improve, Jigsaw, Narrative Text, Reading Students.
