Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa ditinjau dari number sense pada materi bilangan di kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 33 orang siswa kelas VII B SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis berbentuk essay dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memiliki number sense kelompok tinggi memperoleh rata-rata skor 69% dengan kategori tinggi. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memiliki number sense kelompok sedang memperoleh rata-rata skor 26% dengan kategori rendah. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memiliki number sense kelompok rendah memperoleh rata-rata skor 22% dengan kategori rendah.   Kata kunci :   Pemecahan Masalah Matematika, Number Sense, Materi  Bilangan Abstract : The purpose of this research is to describe mathematical problem solving ability of students that reviewed by number sense on numbers in 7th grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang. The method of this research is descriptive with the form of case studies. The research subjects were 33 students of grade VII B SMP Negeri 8 Singkawang. The instrument that used is written test and unstructured interview. The research result shaw that students’ mathematical problem solving ability had number sense as high classified get score rate 69% with high category. The students’ mathematical problem solving ability had number sense as medium classified get score rate 26 % with low category. Abstract

AbstrakThe purpose of the research is to find out and to describe the students? skills of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang in planning, arranging schedule and presenting the  water purifier products, as well as to find out whether the water which is produced has met the criteria of odorless, colorless, tasteless and unclouded. This research use pre-experiment method with one shot case study design. The technique of data collecting which being used is direct observation technique by using group skill sheet and direct communication through interview. The population of this research is class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. Since the sample is homogenous, the research sampling is determined by using random sampling and it is obtained that class XI IPA 1 which consist of 30 students has been chosen as the sample of the research. The result of the analysis shows that the students? skill on making plan and arranging schedule is on very good category, meanwhile the students? skill on presenting the product is on enough category. The analysis also finds out that 33,33 % of the water which was produced by the water purification has been fulfilled the quality of clean water..Keyword:Project Method, Water purification, colloid

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kelayakan flipbook sub materi upaya pencegahan pencemaran udara sebagai media pembelajaran kelas X SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap pembuatan, perbaikan, dan validasi media flipbook. Validasi media flipbook dilakukan melalui dua tahap. Tahap pertama validasi flipbook dilakukan dengan memvalidasi instrumen penilaian media flipbook yang dilakukan oleh dua orang dosen dan satu orang guru biologi SMA. Instrumen penilaian ini berupa angket yang terdiri dari 5 aspek (format, isi, bahasa, praktis, dan efektif) dan 14 kriteria. Tahap kedua dilakukan validasi media flipbook. Adapun validasi media flipbook dilakukan oleh lima orang validator  yang terdiri dari dua orang dosen dan tiga orang guru biologi SMA. Hasil validasi media menunjukkan bahwa media flipbook sub materi upaya pencegahan pencemaran udara layak digunakan dan diperbaiki dengan nilai rata-rata total validasi 3,73. Kata Kunci: Flipbook, upaya pencegahan pencemaran udara, validasi.  Abstract: This study was aimed to test the flipbook feasibility of sub material prevention of air pollution as a learning medium for 10th grade of senior high school. The research method that used was descriptive. The study consisted of three phases: creating, repairing and validating of media flipbook. Validation of media flipbook was done in two stages. The first phase was done by validating assessment instrument flipbook media conducted by two lecturers and one high school biology teacher. The instrument in this research was the questionnaire that consisted of 5 aspects (format, content, language, practically, and effectiveness) and 14 criterias. The second phase was validated media flipbook. The flipbook media validation was done by five validators consisting of two lecturers and three senior high school biology teachers. The tests showed that the media flipbook sub material air pollution prevention was feasible and need repair to be used as a media in teaching and learning process with validation?s average value was 3.73. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of facebook social media utilization on the behavior of teenager dating to students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Year 2017. The method used was descriptive method in form of  correlations study . The population in this study is all students of class VIII. Then the sample was 68 students. Data collection techniques used is  technique indirect communication and data collection  tools are questionnaires. Data analysis technique using the formula percentage and poduct moment using SPSS version 16 then continued with coefficient of determination. From data analysis the researcher found that the utilization of social media facebook reached 77.19%, included in the good category. While dating behavior reached 74.85% in the category of enough. So the influence of utilization of facebook social media on dating behavior was 49.84%, meaning 51.16% dating behavior was influenced by others variable that was not found in this study. Keywords : Social Media, Facebook, Dating Behavior

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan LKS terstruktur terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dan bentuk penelitiannya quasi-experimental dengan rancangan NonEquivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian adalah 31 orang siswa kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 16 Pontianak sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 32 orang siswa kelas VIII H sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perubahan yang positif dari hasil pretest ke posttest. Berdasarkan uji tanda didapat nilai chi kuadrat sebesar 24,04 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan LKS terstruktur terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa, dengan effect size kategori tinggi. Motivasi belajar siswa di kelas dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD tergolong “Sangat Tinggi”.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Motivasi Belajar SiswaAbstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of the cooperative learning using STAD model assisted by structured student’s worksheet on problem-solving ability and students' learning motivation. The method was experiment and the form of research was quasi-experimental with Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample were 31 persons of the VIII G students as the experimental class and 32 persons of the VIII H class as the control class. The results showed a positive change from pretest to posttest result. Based on the sign test, the result of chi square was 24,04 which indicates that there was a positive effect and significantly impact of cooperative learning using STAD model assisted the structured worksheet on students' problem-solving ability, with the effect size was classified as a “high” category. The students' motivation in experimental class was classified as "Very High".Keywords: Cooperative Learning Using STAD Model, Problem Solving Ability, Student’s Learning Motivation

 AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe Analysis of Utilization of Demonstration Method in Giving Motivation Learning In Child Age 5-6 Year in Kindergarten Pertiwi Sanggau Regency. The method used is descriptive with qualitative research form. The subjects of the study were classroom teachers and group 1 companion teachers, and 5-6 year old children in group B 1 in TK Pertiwi sanggau district. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, and documentation. In testing the validity of the data the researchers used the technique of triangulation.From general research results can be edited. Analysis of Utilization of Demonstration Methods in Giving Motivation Learning In Children Aged 5-6 Years in Kindergarten Pertiwi Sanggau District conducted by teachers is quite good. Learning methods in providing teacher assistance is done in accordance with the existing stages, the implementation of learning methods in providing motivation to learn, teachers invite children to pay attention to teachers, then do activities with the method of demonstration, taking themes and activities with demonstration methods in the accompanying the original media.Evaluation method to provide teacher learning aid for 5-6 year students, the teacher reflects by asking the children and learning the children in the learning with the method of polishing done by the teacher is good. Teachers should be more often to do learning using agar-agar methods can increase the motivation of children.Keywords: utilization of demonstration methods, motivation to learn child

Abstract

Abstrak:  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektif atau tidaknya media permainan monopoli terhadap peningkatan keaktifan siswa pada pembelajaran akuntansi di SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental Design. Berdasarkan hasil test pada materi sebelumnya didapatkan kelas XI IPS 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar pengamatan observasi, pedoman wawancara dan lembar catatan dan dokumen (post-test). Berdasarkan analisis data skor pengamatan menggunakan uji T (? = 5%) diperoleh nilai Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.005, menunjukkan adanya perbedaan skor pengamatan pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol pada pembelajaran akuntansi. Hasil effect size pada skor pengamatan aktivitas adalah senilai 0,61 menunjukan efek yang ditimbulkan penggunaan media permainan monopoli terhadap keaktifan siswa tergolong sedang. Kemudian effect size dari data hasil belajar siswa adalah 0,94, menunjukkan efek yang ditimbulkan penggunaan media permainan monopoli akan hasil belajar siswa kategori tinggi.   Kata kunci: Permainan Monopoli, Keaktifan Siswa, Pembelajaran Akuntansi Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the media monopoly game to the increased involvement of the student in accounting learning in high school of St. Francis of Assisi Pontianak. Forms of this study was Quasi Experimental Design. Based on test results obtained in the previous material in class XI IPS 2 as an experimental class and class XI IPS 4 as the control class. Data collection tools used consisted of sheets of observations observation, interview and record sheets and documents (post-test). Based on data analysis using test scores observation T (? = 5%) values ??obtained Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) of 0005, shows the differences in scores observations on the experimental class and control class in accounting learning. Effect size results in a score of observation activity is worth 0.61 shows the effects of the use of game media monopoly over student activity moderate. Then the effect size of the data of student learning outcomes was 0.94, showing the effects of the use of media monopoly game will be the result of students' high category.   Keywords: Monopoly Game, Students Activities, Learning Accounting

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to improve student learning activities in thematic learning by using a scientific approach to first grade students of Sibau Hilir 08 Public Elementary School. The research method used is descriptive method with the form of classroom action research. The subject of this study are teacher as researchers and first grade students totaling 14 students. Data collection technique in this study are observation technique and documents analyze technique. The research instrument used is observation sheets and documents analyze sheets. This result of this study indicate that the use of scientific approach in thematic learning can improve the learning activities of first grade students of Sibau Hilir 08 Public Elementary School.This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of students learning activities in thematic learning using a scientific approach that is in the 1st cycle by 50,00%  with good enough criteria increased by 12,88% in the 2nd cycle to 62,88% with good criteria, then increased againby 12,83% in the 3rd cycle to 75,71% with very good criteria. Keyword : Learning Activities, Scientific Approach, Thematic Learning

Abstract

Abstrack Abstract: aim of this study is to obtain data and description about personal and education value in Melayu AH fairy tale and SBPR folklore. This study using descriptive, qualitative, and objective approach method. Based on analysis of data, it can be concluded that in the collection Melayu AH and SBPR folklore, can be found. 1) Personal value in Melayu AH dan SBPR folklore are analysis on emotional gain, including expression of anger, fear, sadness, and happiness that shown by attitude and behavior. On intellectual gain, found learning about causes and effects of problems that commonly found in daily life. On imagination gain, found imaginative views which can stimulate creativity of children. On social gain, found many interaction between people and community, except in SBPR, not found social meaning. On ethical and religious, found learning about assessment of human behavior quality and belief in God. 2) Education value in Melayu AH dan SBPR folklore including analysis on exploration and inventory. Found many inventions such as origin of living things, except in SRMSRB, not found exploration and inventory. On language gain, found Malay uses, except in SBPR, the language that used is Dayak. On beauty value, found the meaning of beauty, included by sentence structure. On multicultural views, found thing which can add children views about the culture of a region, except in SRMSRB and SBPR, the thing was not found.  Keywords : value, children?s literature, folklore

Abstract

Abstract The general problem of this research was "How were the motivation, discipline and learning outcomes of students who take sports extracurricular activities at vocational high school 5 Pontianak?. This study aimed to reveal: motivation, discipline and learning outcomes of students who take sports extracurricular activities at vocational high school 5 Pontianak.The research method used quantitative types with descriptive methods in the form of surveys. The population of class X students was 343 with a sample of 186 students. Data collection tools were questionnaires, observation and documentation.The results of this study can be concluded: 1) Learning motivation of students who take extracurricular sports at Pontianak State Vocational High School was  categorized enough with a percentage of 61.83%, 2) learning discipline students who take sports extracurricular at Pontianak State Vocational High School were  categorized less by percentage 58 , 89%, 3) the learning outcomes of students participating in sports extracurricular at Pontianak State Vocational High School were the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 65 with the average students' learning score of 74.27 including a good category with completeness of 39.24%. Keywords: Discipline, Learning Outcomes, Motivation.
