Abstract

AbstractThe objective want to be achieved in this research is to improve the ability to recognize geometry through the traditional Malay house structure in children aged 3-4 years in Southeast Pontianak Bina Insan Play Group. The method is descriptive with Classroom Action Research consist of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. Data collection using observation guidelines, interview guides and documentation. Based on the research and data analysis, concluded that the increase in the ability to recognize geometry could through the structure of Malay traditional house in children aged 3-4 years in the Southeast Pontianak Bina Insan Play Group, can be concluded as follows: (1). Lesson plan to improve the ability to recognize geometry through the traditional Malay house structure is categorized very well; (2). Implementation of learning process to improve ability recognizing geometry through the structure of Malay traditional house considered very well. Means that the implementation of geometry learning has been done based on the learning plan that was made; (3). The results of increasing the ability to recognize geometry through the traditional Malay house structure can be stated well, because every aspect of the ability to recognize the geometry of each children has increased with very high categories.  Keyword : Geometry, Traditional House

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Fungsi Partai Politik dalam Pendidikan Politik Terhadap Partisipasi Masyarakat Pada Pemilihan Umum Legislatif di Kecamatan Meliau Kabupaten Sanggau. Metode penelitian ini adalah Kuantitatif dengan bentuk Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik angket, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan alat pengumupulan data adalah angket, panduan wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 33.548 masyarakat Meliau yang terdaftar pada DPT dengan jumlah Sampel penelitian adalah 395. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Fungsi Partai Politik dalam Pendidikan Politik berkategori baik (73,34%) dan Partisipasi Masyarakat Pada Pemilu Legislatif berkategori baik (68,39%). Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh fungsi parpol dalam pendidikan politik terhadap partisipasi masyarakat dengan nilai r hitung (9,279) > r tabel (0,795). Nilai determinan R2 = 0,692 yang berarti sumbangan pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa adalah 69,2% dan sisanya 30,8% ditentukan oleh variabel lain. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Politik, Partisipasi Politik Abstract: This research goals to determine the influence of politic party function on political education toward the society participation on legislative general election in Meliau municipal Sanggau regency. This research method is quantitative with descriptive form of research. The techniques of data collection are questionnaire, interview, and documentation study, while the data collection tools are questionnaire, interview guide, and documentation. The population in this research is 33.548 people of Meliau society that registered on  DPT with the sample is 395. The findings show that the party function on political education is good (73,34%) and society participation on legislative general election is good (68,39%). The hypothesis test results there is an influnce of politic party function on political education with r calculus (9,279) > r table (68,39). Determinant value R2= 0,692 means the influence of politic party function on political education toward the society participation on legislative general election is 69,2% and the remain 30,8% is influenced by other variables. Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to find out on students’ behavior in learning Social Studies subjects in class VII Pontianak 10 Public Middle School. The research method is usedthe descriptive, with a form qualitative research. Resources of the data in this study were VII grade students. Thedata were observation, documentation and the results of interviews with class VII students. The results of the study showed that the learning behavior carried out by class VII students were not good, because there were still students who behaved improperly such as daydreaming, chatting, going out of class, not taking notes, and not listening to the teacher when the learning process was good. However, from several aspects that have been examined in student skills there were some categorized as good enough but there were also students’ skill that cannot be categorized as good, namely reading skills, students lack the desire to read known from their lack of knowledge. Keywords: Learning Behavior, on Students

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis motivasi siswa yang paling dominan dan tingkat motivasi siswa dalam belajar bahasa inggris. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 34 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh dari kuesioner dan interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 91.2%  motivasi siswa dalam belajar bahasa inggris masuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Dari hasil kuesioner ditemukan 58.8% memiliki motivasi intrinsik to experience dalam belajar bahasa inggris. Hal ini diperkuat oleh hasil inteview bahwa alasan siswa belajar bahasa inggris karena bahasa inggris sebagai bahasa internasional sangat penting untuk dipelajari dan dikuasai. Walaupun mereka memiliki hambatan ketika mempelajarinya, mereka tetap memiliki keinginan untuk mempelajarinya. Kata Kunci       : Motivasi siswa, Belajar bahasa inggris.   Abstract: This is a descriptive-survey research of third grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. It was conducted to figure out the type of motivation that students mostly have and the level of students’ motivation in learning English. In this study, there were 34 students participating in ths research. The data were derived from questionnaire and interview. The data showed that  91.2% of the students’ motivation in learning English mostly was qualified in average to good level. From the questionnaire, it was found out that 58.8% of the students had intrinsic motivation to experience as their motivation in learning English. In addition,  the interview showed that students learned english because they thought Englsih as an international language, English is important to be learnt and mastered. Even though they had obstacles while learning, they had motivation to learn English. Keywords         : Students’ motivation, Learning English.

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial menggunakan Model Kooperatif tipe Make A Match Kelas V SDN 17 Pontianak Utara.  Dalam metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas dan kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian 31 siswa. Hasil penelitian  yang diperoleh adalah 1) kemampuan guru merancang pembelajaran IPS menggunakan model kooperatif tipe make a match dari siklus I, yaitu 3,07, siklus II, yaitu 3,38 dan siklus III yaitu 3,73, 2) kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran IPS menggunakan model kooperatif tipe make a match mulai dari siklus I, yaitu 2,75, siklus II, yaitu 3,05 dan siklus III, yaitu 3,63, 3) peningkatan rata-rata belajar siswa mulai dari siklus I, yaitu 75,69, siklus II, yaitu 77,63, siklus III, yaitu 80,86. Dengan menggunkan model kooperatif tipe make a match hasil belajar siswa dengan kriteria sangat baik Kata Kunci : Make A Match, Hasil Belajar, IPS, Kelas V. Abstract : The purpose of this research is improving the learning outcomes of students in the Social Sciences using Model Cooperative type Make A Match Class V SDN 17 North Pontianak. In a descriptive method to form a class action and collaborative research. Subject of the study 31 students. The results obtained are: 1) the ability of teachers to design learning social studies using a model of cooperative make a match of the first cycle, which is 3.07, the second cycle, the third cycle are 3.38 and 3.73, 2) the ability of teachers in implementing the learning IPS uses a model of cooperative make a match from the first cycle, which is 2.75, the second cycle, namely 3.05 and the third cycle, ie 3,63, 3) an increase in average student learning from the first cycle, which is 75, 69, the second cycle, namely 77.63, the third cycle, ie 80.86. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pendeskripsian peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi menggunakan media kartu data bergambar pada siswa kelas VIII B  SMP Negeri 1 Tayan Hilir Kabupaten Sanggau tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif meliputi dua siklus. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah proses belajar dan hasil belajar menulis puisi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru. Alat pengumpulan data berupa kegiatan nontes. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini berupa deskripsi dalam bentuk kata-kata. Berdasarkan analisis data, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan media kartu data bergambar dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran menulis puisi. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa 66.91 dengan nilai terrendah 41.67 dan nilai tertinggi 83.33. Setelah melakukan perbaikan, pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 73.28 dengan nilai terrendah 58.33 dan nilai tertinggi 83.33.   Kata Kunci: kartu data bergambar, kualitatif, deskriptif. Abstract: The purpose of this research is expose increased skill wrote poems using media card pictorial data on a student VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Tayan Hilir Sanggau regency in 2014 / 2015 . The research is research action classroom with the methodology descriptive , the research that included use is qualitative with two cycle. Data in research is learning process and writing poetry study results . The data the research is students and teachers .  A data collection of nontest activities. Research conducted analysis techniques it will be description in the form of words. Based on data analysis, concluded that the media card pictorial data can improve lessons writing poetry. In cycles first , student gets the average value of 66.91 with the lowest 41.67 and the highest score 83.33. After making a comeback , on the cycle second gets students average value of 73.28 worth the lowest 58.33 and the highest 83.33.   Keywords: pictorial card data, qualitative, descriptive.

Abstract

AbstractThe implementation of academic supervision is done routinely and continuously will enable the improvement of teacher performance which ultimately have an impact on improving student's learning achievement also. Factors influencing teacher performance in this research are academic supervision and Teacher Work Motivation of principal. The problems in this study are as follows: 1) What is the description of the principal academic supervision, teacher work motivation, and teacher performance? 2) Does the principal's academic supervision affect teacher performance? 3) Does teacher work motivation affect teacher performance? 4) Does the teacher's academic supervision and work motivation jointly affect teacher performance?This research generally aims to reveal the influence of academic supervision and teacher work motivation on the performance of SDN teachers in Kecamatan Selakau Sambas District. This research uses quantitative approach. The data used is quantitative data. The population in this study amounted to 215 teachers. While the sample amounted to 140 teachers. Data were collected using questionnaires by measurement model using Likert scale. The collected data is tabulated. Then performed an analysis using the help of computer application program, namely SPSS version 16 for Window. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The first step in conducting hypothesis testing, namely test requirements regression analysis (normality test and linearity test). After the analytical requirements test is met, the next is hypothesis testing. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. Abstract

AbstractThis study was to examine the use of mnemonic loci method in developing student’s vocabulary acquisition. This classroom action research design conducted to the 27 students of second grade SMP Negeri 3 Ketungau Hulu in academic year 2018/2019. Two cycles of classroom action research were conducted to help the researcher achieve the objective. The data were collected and analyzed in qualitative and quantitative form.  The findings showed that there were positive improvements on students’ vocabulary acquisition. This result was exactly supported by the process in teaching and learning, which indicated that students’ interest in learning vocabulary increased. The use of mnemonic loci method combined with picture was useful in assisting students to memorize vocabulary target in the learning process. In conclusion, the researcher was highly recommended that mnemonic loci method combined with picture as aids may be applied in teaching vocabulary. The use of mnemonic loci method was not simply improving students’ vocabulary acquisition but valuable to encourage students in learning vocabulary. Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Mnemonic Loci Method, Teaching Vocabulary

Abstract

  Abstract The problem in this research is whether there is influence and how big the influence model of Problem Based Learning towards a learning outcomes The Nature Of Science students in class IV elementary school 12 South Pontianak Country?. This research aims to demonstrate the influence and how big the influence model of Problem Based Learning towards a learning outcomes IPA students in class IV elementary school the country 12 South Pontianak. This research uses experimental methods. Experimental research on form used is a quasi experimental design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design types. The population in this research is the whole grade IV elementary school 12 South Pontianak Country consisting of 50 students. The techniques used in the collection of data is the measurement techniques. Data collecting tool used is reserved in the form of 25 multiple choice question. Research results are obtained, the average value of the post-test control class of 67.50 and average value of post-test experimental 77.4 class. Based on the analysis of the hypothesis test using the test-t obtained t_hitung = 2.314 and substitute price t_tabel (α = 5%) of 2.021, which means t_hitung (2,314) > t_tabel (2,021), the Ha received and the calculation of effect size obtained ICE of 0.75. So, it can be concluded that there is a Problem Based Learning model of influence against the results of learning The Nature Of Science students in class IV elementary school 12 South Pontianak with medium categories. Abstract

AbstractThe development of an interactive module based on the low learning outcomes of students as well as students has difficulty in developing speaking skills due to lack of exercise and the material in the package book is not complete, so that students are not used to skilled in speaking. The purpose of developing an interactive module to produce instructional media used independently by students. The development research procedure taken from Borg and Gall consists of 10 steps: data collection, planning, product development, expert validation, revision of expert comments, trials, revisions of comments, and final product improvements. Data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documents. The research instruments are observation sheet, interview guide, and questionnaire. Data analysis using qualitative and quantitative. The result of the module has been constructed through research and development, has been tested able to improve students' speaking ability. This is evidenced by the increase. Improving students' speaking skills using interactive module shows improvement, this is seen from pretest result 68,63 while posttest result 77,22. The increase can also be seen from the 2 paired sample t test that shows the value of t arithmetic> t table (11,09> 1,708), it means there is improvement of student's speaking skill using interactive module.This module can be used for Indonesian language speaking aspectKeywords: interactive module, speaking skill, skill enhancement
