Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to know the impact of Word Square Model to the social learning outcomes in Elementary School Number Thirty, Pontianak Selatan. The experimental method was used in this research. The form of the experimental reseach used was quasi exsperimental design which in Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The Sample were the whole students on Five Grade. The result of data analysis showed that mean score of the students’ post-test was 86,89. Based on the t-test analysis, t count was 9,1617 and t table = 1,6836. It mean 9,1617>1,6836; t count>t table. In other word, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The result of effect size (ES) was 2,44 which mean high  criteria on ES>0,8. So, it can be concluded that three was a significant effect of using Word Square Model to the students’s learning outcomes on Five Grade Elementary School. Keywords: influence, Word Square and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is to documenting the companion music of jepin dance, especially jepin keris dance. The general problem in this research are : How is the description of music accompanion of Jepin Keris dance by Yuza Yanis Chaniago?. The purpose of this research are : 1) Describe the music accompanion of Jepin Keris dance by Yuza Yanis Chaniago, 2) Describe the selodang melody on music accompanion of Jepin Keris by Yuza Yanis Chaniago, 3) Describe the beruas rythm pattern on music accompanion of Jepin Keris dance by Yuza Yanis Chaniago, 4) Describe the rebana rythm pattern on music accompanion of Jepin Keris dance by Yuza Yanis Chaniago, 5) Describe the implementation that will used in study process in School. The method that used in this research is explorative descriptive method and musicology approach. The data that contained in this research is the result from observation and interviews with the interviewer which were selodang melody pattern, beruas rythm pattern, and lyrics. The result of this research is music notation of Jepin Keris dance by Yuza Yanis Chaniago. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study to describe : 1) the influence of Conformity to the Pedagogical Competence of teachers, 2)self-efficacy of the pedagogical competence of teachers; 3)conformity and self-efficacy of the pedagogical competence of teachers. The approach used in this study was a quantitative survey method. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and interviews and data collection tool questionnaire and interview guides. Data processing techniques used multiple linear regression techniques. The results of this study indicate that conformity had a significant influence on Competence Pedagogical teacher MGMPs Economy, Self-Efficacy has a significant influence on Competence Pedagogical teacher MGMPs Economics, Variable Conformity and Self-Efficacy jointly significant effect on the dependent Competence Pedagogical teacher MGMPs Economy. The calculations show the coefficient of determination shown Adjusted R-Square value of 0.342. The conclusion that 34.20% of dependent ie pedagogic influenced by two independent ie conformity and self-efficacy, while the remaining 65.80% of pedagogic competence is influenced by other variables Keywords: Conformity, Self-Efficacy and Pedagogic Competence

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the history of silotuang, describe silotuang organology, describe the music system of silotuang and the design of the lesson. Due to this importance, analytic descriptive method in form of qualitative under the approach of ethnomusicology was needed. The sources of the data were three interviewees and one validator with the technique of observation, interview, and documentation. The validity of the data was obtained through three types of tringualation, they were; source, technique, and time, with the technique of the anlysis of Spradley model. The result of this research was in 1985 Silotuang was considered traditional music instrument in Jagoi Dayaknese. Based on shape, Silotuang is still original it has not modificated yet. The basic material of Silotuang is Bamboo Toling Manah Basah. Silotuang is functioned as the to nurturing instrument in rituals of curing and Gawai. The conclusion of this research is Silotuang as origin music instrument of Jagoi Kindau exactly in 1985, which made from Toling Manah Basah and played by rhytmicKey Words: Silotuang, Music Art, Traditional Music Instrument

Abstract

Abstak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keberadaan didaktogenik sejumlah guru fisika tentang konsep gaya dan gerak. Terdapat 12 guru fisika yang terdaftar di Dinas Pendidikan Kota Pontianak berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Para guru diminta memberikan komentar/koreksi tertulis mengenai jawaban soal fisika tentang hukum-hukum Newton yang dibuat secara khusus untuk penelitian ini. Setiap konsep terdapat dua pertanyaan yang ekuivalen disertai dengan jawaban yang salah atau yang benar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komentar/koreksi guru mengandung didaktogenik. Jumlah komentar guru yang mengandung didaktogenik bervariasi. Konsep hukum Newton I dan hukum Newton II masing-masing tujuh (7) komentar. Konsep hukum Newton III dan penerapannya masing-masing empat (4) komentar. Didaktogenik para guru lebih banyak terungkap jika disajikan jawaban yang salah.   Kata Kunci: Didaktogenik, Hukum Newton, Komentar/koreksi guru   Abstract: This study was conducted to describe teachers’ didaktogenic about force and motion. The participants of the study were 12 teachers who officially recorded on The Office of Education Pontianak. Each participant was asked to assess about researcher’s work on several physics problems about Newton’s Law. There were two questions with answers for every concepts, correct and incorrect answers. Results reveals that most of the teacher’s comments have didaktogenic. There are seven (7) comments on Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Second Law, four (4) comments on Newton’s Third Law and the Application. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the errors of students in working on math word problem at 5th grade in SD Negeri 23 Bekut Tebas Sub-district. The method used is descriptive with the case study research form. Subjects in this study were students of 5th grade in SDN 23 Bekut,Tebas Sub-district, there were 23 people, who were selected to be interviewed were 6 people. Data collection tools in the form of written tests in the form of essays (description) with a total of 4 questions. Based on the results of research students' errors include misconceptions, procedural errors, and miscalculation / carelessness. Calculations for high-level mathematical skills include concept errors of 37.50%, procedure errors of 50.00%, and calculation errors / carelessness of 50.00%. For the level of moderate math ability, it includes 67.31% concept errors, 76.92% procedure errors, and 84.62% calculation / carelessness errors. For the low level of mathematical ability include 75.00% misconception, 87.50% procedure error, and 100.00% calculation / carelessness error. So, it can be concluded that at a high level of mathematical ability, the dominant types of errors are procedural errors and miscalculation / carelessness with the same percentage of 50.00%. While the level of moderate and low mathematical abilities, the most common mistakes are calculation / carelessness, with 84.62% and 100.00%. Keywords: Student errors, Math Word Problem, Students Ability Levels.

Abstract

Abstract          This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of conceptual change text assisted teaching aids in remediating students' misconceptions about dynamic fluid in Nanga Mahap 1 State High School. This study was a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample is 30 students of class XI MIPA 2 totaling 30 students selected by intact group. The data collection instrument uses multiple choice diagnostic tests without reason. Based on the results of data analysis obtained the findings, as follows: (1) There is a significant conceptual change (itung_count ^ 2 = 38,025; df = 1; α = 0,05) after being given remediation learning; (2) The level of remediation effectiveness is classified as moderate (DQM = 45.5%); (3) There is no significant conceptual change (itung_count ^ 2 = 0.26; df = 1; α = 0.05) after a certain period of time since remediation learning is given. Based on these results, it is expected that conceptual change text assisted by teaching aids can be used as an alternative to correct misconceptions.Keywords: Remediation, misconception, conceptual change text, props, dynamic fluid

Abstract

AbstractThe research aims to know and describe the effectiveness of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach in the trigonometry topic at class XI of SMK SMTI Negeri Pontianak Mechanical Engineering Department. The aspects that want to be knowand describe are the implementation of the learning process, student’s learning activities, student’s respond and student’s outcomes. The research method is descriptive method. The research subject is students in class XI TP 2. Based on the data analysis from four aspects are: (1) the implementation of the learning process categorized very good with average score 3,73; (2) student’s learning activities categorized active (77,55%); (3) student’s respond categorized positive with 3 student (8%) give a very positive respond and 33 student (92%) give a positive respond; and (4) student’s outcome is not reached classical completness with only 75% of student can achieve the minimum completeness criteria. Because only three out of four aspects that achieved, the coclusion  of this research is the implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning approach less effective in the trigonometry topic at class XI TP 2 SMK SMTI Negeri Pontianak. Keywords:  Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach, Trigonometry Subject, Effectiveness

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effect of using storytelling method towards listening ability based on gender in children aged 5-6 years in Bina 45 Islamic Kindergarten, East Pontianak. The method used in this study was an experiment with a quantitative approach. This study was conducted through a Pre-Experimental Research Design in the form of ?One Group Pre-test Post-test design?. The sample in this study was group B4 with 23 children as the experimental group. Direct observation and documentation techniques were used for the data collection, as well as associative and statistical analysis were applied in data analysis by referring to the t-test result. According to the data analysis, by denoting the average differences between listening ability level of male children with the value of 29,23 (pre-test) and 89,62 (post-test) and the female children with the value of 36 (pre-test) and 90 (post-test), and the influence of the storytelling method towards children?s listening ability based on gender, it revealed tcount of the male children with the value of 5,605 as well as ttable with 5% of significant level for two-party test dk=24, therefore, obtained the value of 2,064. As well as on the other gender, tcount of the female children was 2,852 with the 5% of significant level for two-party test dk=18, therefore, the value of 2,101 was obtained. Based on the calculation, it was found that tcount>ttable hence, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. It concluded that the use of storytelling method was significant towards listening ability based on gender on children aged 5-6 years old in Bina 45 Islamic Kindergarten, East Pontianak. Keywords: Storytelling Method, Listening, Gender

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peningkatan menulis karangan argumentasi menggunakan media Wall Chart dilihat dari kemampuan menulis diksi, kalimat efektif, paragraf, dan langkah-langkah menulis karangan argumentasi pada siswa kelas X SMK LKIA Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan dua siklus. Alur penelitian meliputi perencanaan (planning), pelaksanaan (action), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan media Wall Chart dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis karangan argumentasi siswa kelas X SMK LKIA Pontianak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut kondisi awal keterampilan menulis karangan argumentasi siswa dengan nilai rata-rata yang dicapai hanya sebesar 54,1. Setelah dilakukan tindakan menggunakan media Wall Chart pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata yang dicapai sebesar 68,6. Tindakan dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus I belum mencapai tujuan yang akan dicapai. Nilai rata-rata yang harus dicapai adalah 75. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan tindakan siklus II. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata yang dicapai sebesar 80,1 dalam kategori baik. Hal ini berarti mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11,5 dari siklus I ke siklus II sedangkan, dari prasiklus ke siklus I sebesar 14,5.     Kata kunci: Menulis, Argumentasi, Wall Chart   Abstract: This study aims to describe the increase in write essays using the media arguments Wall Chart viewed from the ability to write diction, effective sentences, paragraphs, and measures the argument essay writing in class X SMK LKIA Pontianak. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. Chronology of research include planning (planning), implementation (action), observation (observing) and reflection (reflecting). The results showed Wall Chart media use can improve the ability to write essays argumentation class X SMK LKIA Pontianak. Based on these results the initial conditions argument essay writing skills of students with average values ​​were achieved only at 54.1. After the act of using the media Wall Chart on the first cycle, the average value reached 68.6. Actions and the average value in the first cycle has not yet reached the objectives to be achieved. The average value to be achieved is 75. Therefore, the action cycle II. In the second cycle the average value achieved at 80.1 in both categories. This represented an increase of 11.5 from the first cycle to the second cycle while, from prasiklus to the first cycle of 14.5.   Keywords: Writing, Argument, Wall Chart
