Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of Representational System Sort (RSS) technique to teach English reading comprehension of narrative texts to Year-10 students of “SMAN 3 Pontianak” in Academic Year 2014/2015. The research method is a quasi-experimental research with one group as experimental group and another group as the control group. The research findings show the mean score interval of pre-test and post-test for experimental group is 9.63. The mean score interval of pre-test and post-test for control group is 3.46. It means that the interval score of experimental group is higher than the control group, and the students’ ability increased significantly after the treatments. The obtained effect size is 0.60 and be categorized as moderate. Therefore, the effectiveness of RSS technique to teach English reading comprehension of narrative texts to Year-10 students of “SMAN 3 Pontianak” in Academic Year 2014/2015 is moderate. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menemukan tingkat efektifitas dari teknik Representational System Sort (RSS) untuk mengajarkan membaca komprehensif teks naratif dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas 10 “SMAN 3 Pontianak” tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi-eksperimen dengan satu kelompok sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok lainnya sebagai kelompok kontrol. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interval nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test kelompok eksperimen adalah 9,63 sedangkan interval nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test kelompok kontrol adalah 3.46. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai interval kelompok eksperimen jauh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai interval kelompok kontrol, dan kemampuan para siswa meningkat setelah treatmen dilaksanakan. Tingkat keefektifitasan yang diperoleh yaitu 0,60 dan dikategorikan sedang. Maka dari itu, tingkat keefektifitasan dari teknik RSS untuk mengajarkan membaca komprehensif teks naratif dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas 10 “SMAN 3 Pontianak” tahun ajaran 2014/2015 adalah sedang.   Kata Kunci: RSS, Membaca Komprehensif, Teks Naratif.

Abstract

AbstractThe abstract thing, rote and counting are the fundamental things that become the difficulties in understanding the PKn for the students. Thus it requires learning media in the form of Computer Assisted Instruction to help the students improving their skill in PKn learning process and the PKn learning result especially on the stoichiometry subject. This study aimed to produce the design, the final product, the implementation, and the result of Computer Assisted Instruction in PKn learning at kelas XII paket C di PKBM Enggang Gading Pontianak. This study was a tiered training media development study by using the development stage of Borg and Gall, with the subject of study was the class XII students consist of 25 students. The number of students who passed the test was increased in the posstest result taken after the learning process by using Computer Assisted Instruction which was showed that 80,4% students passed the test and only 50,2% students did not pass the test. It means that there were differences in learning outcomes between learning PKn by using Computer Assisted Instruction and not. Thus a tiered training media in PKnlearning could help the students to learn PKn material easily.Key Words: Pengembangan, Computer Assisted Instruction, PKn

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran word square dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial di kelas VB Sekolah Dasar Negeri 03 Pontianak Kota. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak IV siklus dan terjadi peningkatan setiap siklusnya dengan hasil yang diperoleh adalah (a) kemampuan guru merancang pembelajaran  mulai dari siklus I yaitu 3.49, siklus II 4, siklus III 3.82, dan siklus IV 3.87, (b) kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran mulai dari siklus I 3.01, siklus II 3.9, siklus III 3.82, dan siklus IV 3.87, dan (c) hasil belajar siswa siklus I 44.82%, siklus II 79.31%, siklus III 75.86% dan siklus IV 82.14%.   Kata Kunci: hasil belajar siswa, model word square   Abstract: The purpose of this research generally to describe improving student learning outcomes using word square model in teaching social sciences in the class VB State Elementary School 03 Pontianak City. The method used is descriptive method with the type of classroom action research. This research was conducted as IV cycles and an increase in each cycle with the results obtained are (a) the ability of teachers to design learning from the first cycle is 3.49, Second cycle  is 4,  third cycle is 3.82, and last cycle is 3.87, (b) the ability of teachers to implement the learning from the first cycle is 3.01, second cycle is 3.9, third cycle is 3.82 and fourth cycle is 3.87, and (c) the results of student learning first cycle is 44.82%, the second cycle is 79.31%, the third cycle is 75.86% and the fourth cycle is 82.14%. Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem in this research is the utilization of the Internet as a medium of learning by students on the subjects in class X Online Marketing Marketing Department of SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. Source of the data that the class X as many as five people, Chairman of the Department as much as one person, and Online Marketing teacher as much as one person. Data collection techniques used in this study were (1) direct communication techniques with the tools interview, (2) direct observation techniques with the tools of observation guidelines, and techniques of documentary studies with the appliance documents. Technique of determining the credibility of the data there are 2 of triangulation and triangulation techniques. Data analysis technique consists of four, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The findings are Utilization of the Internet as a medium of learning by students on the subjects in class X Online Marketing Department of Marketing SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak already done but not optimal. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan pelaksanaan bermain suku kata dalam mengembangkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada anak usia dini.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah: deskriptif bentuk kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Semua guru terlibat dalam perencanaan bermain suku kata, bahan main dibuat sendiri dan seminggu sebelum digunakan guru sudah mempersiapkan bahan main. Pelaksanaan bermain suku kata berlangsung enam kali pertemuan, anak-anak berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan.Metode yang digunakan guru dalam pelaksanaan bermain suku kata adalah; metode bercerita, bercakap-cakap, demonstrasi, pemberian penugasan, dan bermain. Media yang digunakan yaitu; buku cerita bergambar, berbagai alat permainan, kartu suku kata, puzzle suku kata, balok, papan tulis, dan sebagainya. Guru melakukan penilaian kepada semua anak untuk mengetahui apakah kemampuan membaca permulaan anak berkembang setelah pelaksanaan bermain suku kata. Kendala yang dihadapi guru adalah waktu yang terlalu singkat. Kata kunci:Bermain Suku Kata, Membaca Permulaan.  Abstract: This study aims to reveal the implementation of syllables play in developing reading skills beginning in early childhood. The method used is: a qualitative descriptive form. The results showed that: All teachers involved in the planning of syllables play, play materials and made himself a week before teachers use materials already prepared to play. Implementation of syllables play lasted six sessions, the children actively participate in the activities. Methods used by teachers in the implementation of the syllable is playing; method of storytelling, conversation, demonstrations, giving assignments, and play. Media used, namely picture books, various games, card syllable, syllables puzzle, block, board, and so on. Teachers assess all of the children to determine whether the child's ability to read the beginning of the play progressed after implementation syllables. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk Peningkatan Aktivitas  Peserta Didik Dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Menggunakan Pendekatan Kooperatif di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 21 Jelai Hulu Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode dekriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas dan berkolaborasi dengan guru teman sejawat. Setting dilakukan di dalam kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah peneliti sebagai guru dan peserta didik kelas V SDN. 21 Jelai Hulu yang berjumlah 8 orang. Hasil penelitian:1)Aktivitas fisik peserta didik pada pengamatan awal 43,75% dan pada siklus II 87,5%, peningkatan aktivitas fisik sebesar 31,25% dengan kategori cukup tinggi; 2) Aktivitas mental dari pengamatan awal 35% dan siklus II 80%, peningkatan aktivitas mental sebesar 45% dengan kategori cukup tinggi, dan 3) Aktivitas emosional dari pengamatan awal yaitu 54,17% dan siklus II 91,67%, peningkatan aktivitas emosional sebesar 37,50% dengan kategori cukup tinggi.   Kata Kunci : Aktivitas, Pembelajaran Tematik, dan Pendekatan Kooperatif   Abstract : This research aims to in creasethe activity of learners in thematic learning cooperative approach in fifth grade  of elementary school 21 Jelai Hulu Ketapang. The method used it descriptive method to form a class action research and collaboration between researchers with teacher coleagves setting is done in the classroom whit the research subjects were theacher and learners amovnting to eight people.Research is : 1)learners increased physical activity from the beginning to the two cycles is equal to 43,55 % with a fairly high  category. 2)  learners increased mental activity 35 % of the initial observations and the observations of two cycles of 80 % increase mental activity from initial observations up to cycles was 55% with a fairly high category and 3) . Learners increased emotional activity from the initial observation is 45,83 % and the observation of two cycles 91,67 %. Increase the emotional activity of the initial observaton to ofservation of two cycles is equal to 45,84% with a fairly.   Key words: activity, thematic learning, and cooperative approach.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peristiwa tutur, pemakai bahasa dan pemakaian bahasa penjual dan pembeli di pasar tradisional flamboyan Pontianak Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah penjual ikan, sayur, sembako, daging ayam dan daging sapi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa adanya peristiwa tutur di pasar tradisional flamboyan. Variasi bahasa berdasarkan pemakai ialah adanya percampuran bahasa indonesia, melayu, madura dan cina. Variasi berdasarkan pemakaian bahasa ialah adanya aktifitas jual beli di pasar tradisional flamboyan yang dilakukan oleh penjual dan pembeli berupa bahasa lisan. Kata Kunci: Register, Pasar Tradisional Flamboyan, Sosiolinguistik.   Abstrac: This research was aimed to know the speech aet, users and the usage of indonesia language in Flamboyan, the traditional market on jalan Gajah Mada Pontianak west Kalimantan it was descriptive reseach methwal. The samples taken wer the sellers of fish, vegetables, staple foods, chicken and beef. The result of data awadysi’s therwed that speech act has occured in flamboyan traditional market. The variety of language produced by the specdeers was mixiure of indonesia language. It was intheneed by the aculturation of malayan, maduranese and chinese ethnies. The varieties of language produced was commeenicated in business activities in flamboyan traditional market. The speakers of the buyers/consumers. Kata Kunci: PencocokanKartu Index, PemahamanMembaca Abstract:This research entitled the use of index card match collaborated with group discussion to improve students reading comprehension of recount text. The purpose of this research is to solve the students problem which was their difficulty in comprehending the recount text. The subject of this research was class VIIIF; which consisted of 31 students. This research was done in three cycles. The researcher used short answer tests, observation checklist tables, and field notes as the tools of collecting data. The research finding showed that the students reading comprehension improved from the first cycle to the last cycle. It is showed by the number of the students who passed the Standard of minimum score in the last cycle (87,10 % or 27 students). As the target of this research is to make 80 % of students passed the KKM (70). While, it is supported by the mean score of students achievement improved from 62.42 to 81.45. As the result, the writer concludes that Index Card Match collaborated with Group Discussion improved students reading comprehension of recount text very well. Abstract

AbstractThis research was motivated by the demands of the 2013 curriculum where students are required to be able to think critically, so that a learning model was needed that can improve students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning model to critical thinking skills of class XI IIS 2 Muhammadiyah Senior High School Pontianak. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach and a quasi experimental design method with the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design and the sample in this study was a class XI IIS student of Muhammadiyah 2 High School Pontianak. The results of prettest and posttets analysis of data on sociology subjects in class XI IIS of Muhammadiyah 2 High School in Pontianak showed that 1) the Gain calculation results obtained increased by 16.53 points, between the matter of the pretest and Posttest. 2) the average result of the posttest question of the first meeting is 64.20 and the second meeting is 74.67. 3) the results of the percentage of completeness of students in working on the problem of the first posttest meeting 73% with 22 students completing from 30 students and the second meeting amounting to 90% with 27 students completed from 30 students. 4) the results of the Wilcoxon first meeting with a significance value of 0,000 and the second meeting with a significance value of 0,000, with a significance level of 0.05. Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Thinking Ability Critical

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku menyimpang yang dilakukan, faktor penyebab dan upaya warga sekolah dalam menangani perilaku menyimpang siswa kelas X. Metode penelitian yaitu metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian: 1) Perilaku menyimpang yang dilakukan: baju dikeluarkan, datang terlambat, alpa, mencontek, bergurau saat pembelajaran, main HP saat pembelajaran, sepatu tidak hitam, ikat pinggang tidak sesuai, rambut panjang (laki-laki), kaos kaki tidak sesuai, kuku panjang, kekantin jam pembelajaran, makan saat pembelajaran, tidak ikut upacara senin dan bolos. 2) Faktor penyebab: faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. 3) Upaya warga sekolah yaitu: diberi peringatan, memberikan sanksi yang mendidik, sanksi dalam penilaian, melakukan razia, penahanan barang pelanggaran, dicatat dibuku pelanggaran, membuat surat pernyataan, menguatkan peran guru BK dan panggilan orang tua siswa. Kata kunci: Perilaku Menyimpang, Siswa, dan Sekolah Abstract: This study aims to determine the aberrant behavior that was done, the causes and the efforts of the school community in dealing with the deviant behavior of class X students. The research method is descriptive. The results: 1) aberrant behavior done: wearing clothes inappropriately, coming late, being absent, cheating, playing with friends while studying, using mobile phone while studying, not using black shoes, using prohibited belts, long hair (boys), wearing inappropriate socks, long nails, eating in canteen when the class is running, eating while studying, not taking part in Monday Flag Ceremony. 2). Causal factors: internal and external factors. 3). Efforts of the school, namely: giving warning, penalizing and advising, sanctions in scoring, conducting raids, seizuring things of violations, recording the violations on the black book, asking the students to make statements, reinforcing the role of the BK Teacher and calling students parents.
