Abstract

Abstract This research is focused on the semantic field of terminology in paddy farming of Dayak Salako community. Traditional paddy farming is about tools and processes. A common problem in this study 'How does the terminology of paddy farming in the Dayak Salako community in semantic studies?'. The general problem is confined to four subproblems. Those are form of terms, components of meanings, lexical meanings, and cultural meanings. This study aims to describe the form of term, components of meaning, cultural meaning, and meaning of lexical contained in paddy farming terminology of Dayak Salako community. Based on the analysis, it was found that in terms of farming rice Dayak Salako there are 31 data, those were divided into four stages, namely seven terminology: one pre-planting process, seven planting processes, three pasca-planting, 14 harvesting processes, five post-harvest processes, and there are 21 terminology tools, seven terminology place names, one post-harvesting time period, and six terminology. Abstract

  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aspek kesatuan, kepaduan, pengembangan, dan karakteristik dalam menulis paragraf persuasi melalui media poster. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik analisis data adalah dengan menganalisis kesalahan penulisan paragraf persuasi yang dilakukan oleh 27 orang siswa kelas XG SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya  meliputi aspek kesatuan, kepaduan, pengembangan, dan karakteristik paragraf persuasi. Dari hasil dokumentasi, ditemukan 17% paragraf persuasi yang tidak sesuai dengan aspek kesatuan, 43% paragraf yang tidak sesuai dengan aspek kepaduan, 35% paragraf yang tidak sesuai dengan aspek pengembangan, dan 6% siswa yang tidak sesuai dengan aspek karakteristik paragraf persuasi.   Kata Kunci: Menulis, Paragraf Persuasi, Media Poster Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe aspects of unity, cohesion, development and characteristics in writing paragrafs persuasion via the posters. The method used is descriptive method. The data collection technique is the documentation and study of literature. Data analysis technique is by taking a typing error in paragraf persuasion performed by 27 students of class XG SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya include aspects of unity, cohesion, development and characteristics of persuasion paragrafs. From the results of the documentation, found 17% paragraf persuasion that does not comply with this aspect of unity, paragraf 43% which is not in accordance with aspects of cohesion, paragraf 35% which is not in accordance with aspects of the development and 3%  paragraf that does not comply with paragrafs characteristic aspect of persuasion.   Keywords: Writing, Paragrafs Persuasion, Media Poster

Abstract

AbstractThe result of the research showed that students could comprehend narrative text with good comprehension. The problem of the research  was  students got difficulty to find out the meaning of the words, got less information during learning process because they were not active in reading the narrative text and its generic structure. Reading narrative text helped the students in finding the information about the story. The teacher explained the generic structure of narrative text to studying. The student sharing the information in the second group helped them in comprehending a narrative text. This research found out that there was an improvement of students reading comprehension in narrative text  for each cycle by Implementing One Stray Technique in teaching reading comprehension and students’ score improvements was better.Keywords: Reading Comprehension, Narrative Text, One Stray Strategy.

Abstract

                       AbstractIn learning to write poetry in class V Public Elementary School 66 Pontianakthere are still many students who have not been able to write poetry well. This needs to be overcome by updating learning, either through the use of media or learning models. One that has been tested and proven to support students' skills in writing poetry is to apply an outdoor learning model. Based on the analysis of the situation, the problem in this study is "How is the influence of the application of outdoor learning models on poetry writing skills of fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 66 Pontianak?".This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of outdoor learning models on poetry writing skills.The method used is the experimental method, while the form of research used pre-experimental design with the design of the group-pretest-posttest design. The population and sample in this study were all fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 66 Pontianakin the academic year 2017/2018 totaling 36 students. Data collection techniques used in this study are direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. Based on the results of data analysis of the mean value of pre-test 72.19 and post-test mean 77.53. The result of the t test is obtained by t table = 5%, with db = 35 is 2.03. Because t count (4.68)> t table (2.03), then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So that it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying the outdoor learning model to the poetry writing skills of fifth grade students of Public Elementary School 66 Pontianak. Keywords: Influence, Outdoor Learning Models, Poetry Writing Skills

Abstract

AbstractThe thesis discussed “Pengendalian Sosial oleh Waka Kesiswaan Pada Siswa yang Tidak Melaksanakan Shalat Ashar Berjamaah di SMA Islamiyah Pontianak”. The problem of this research was that Social control by headmaster-vice by the student did not practice Ashar prayer in SMA Islamiyah Pontianak with the sub problems how the social control preventif, curative, repressive by headmaster-vice to the student did not practice Ashar prayer in SMA Islamiyah Pontianak. This research used descriptive method in qualitative. The result shoed that (1) preventive social control has been done by headmaster-vice. Before Ashar prayer, the vice-headmaster usually asked to the students and gave instruction to the students to Ashar prayer in the mosque; he gave verbally guidance when in Islam religion subject, and then counseled to his students that never Ashar prayer in the mosque. (2) Curative social control has been done by the vice-headmaster. The evidence that he would gave the warning to the students if they do not Ashar prayer together. (3) Repressive social control has been done by the vice-headmaster. Abstract

AbstractThis researchaim to determine the effect of the role playing method on the social science learning outcomes of social science students in class III of the East Pontianak 04 State Elementary School.The method used wasan experimental design and nonequevalent control group design research design. The population was all students from two classes totaling 54 people, the sample of this study was the III A class students, amounting to 26 people as the experimental class and the class III B students as the contro class, amounting to 28 people. The data collection technique used was a measurement technique and a data collection tool was a multiple choice written test. Based on data analysis, the results of the experimental class post-test 80,04 avarage and the post-test control average of 74,07. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t count = 2,993 while for dk (28+26-2 = 52) with a significant level ? = 5% obtained ttable = 1,676, which means tcount> t table, then Ha was accepted, this prove that there was the influence of the application of the role playing method in learning Social Sciences. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0,57 which is included in the criteria of being, namely 0,57 <0,8. Thus there was the influence of the role playing method on the results of learning social science students in class III of the East Pontianak 04 State Elementary School. Keywords: Influence, Learning,  Learning Outcomes,  Role Playing Method, , Social Sciences.

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui informasi tentang peningkatan kemampuan menyimak melalui metode bercerita  dengan media gambar melalui perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Tunas Bangsa Sanggau Ledo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus terhadap18 anak. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang kemudian dianalisa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa bercerita dengan media gambar dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatan kemampuan menyimak, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, meningkat pada semua aspek yaitu, anak dapat menyebutkan tokoh-tokoh dalam cerita dan menjawab pertanyaan tentang isi cerita, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 86,57%. Ketercapaian tersebut tergolong sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa bercerita dengan media gambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyimak anak.   Kata Kunci: Menyimak, Metode Bercerita, dan Media gambar Abstract: This study aims to find out information about inereasing listening skills throungh storyteling with media image through the planning and implementation of learning in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Tunas Bangsa Sanggau Ledo. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with the form of classroom action research conducted in two cyeles of the 18 children. The result showed that tell the media images in learning to improve listening skill, conducted in two cycles increased at an aspect that is, children can mention characters in the story and aswer questions about the story, an increase 86,57%. The achievement of a very good class. This shows that tell the media images can improve listening skills of children. Keywords: Listening, Storytelling, and Media Images.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi keinginan peneliti untuk menemukan pola ritme yang terdapat dalam musik Jepin Lembut di Kecamatan Tebas Kabupaten Sambas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-eksploratif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) pola ritme alat musik marwas dan rebana dalam musik Jepin Lembut Kecamatan Tebas yakni terdapat motif pola ritme yang berbentuk pengulangan harafiah, pembesaran interval, dan pemerkecilan interval,  2) terdapat fungsi pola ritme musik Jepin Lembut terhadap tari Jepin Lembut Kecamatan Tebas Kabupaten Sambas yakni pada ragam gerak langkah satu, nyiur melambai, mayang mengurai, dan langkah satu tappok. Kata kunci: pola ritme, musik Jepin Lembut Kecamatan Tebas Kabupaten Sambas. Abstrack: The background of this research is the researcher’s longing to find a rhythm pattern of Jepin Lembut music instrument in Tebas Subdistrict of Sambas Regency. Method that is used is descriptive-explorative method in qualitative form. instrument in Tebas Subdistrict of Sambas Regency. The result of this research are: 1) rhythm pattern of marwas and rebana as music instruments in Jepin Lembut in Tebas Subdistric namely the appearance of rhythm method motif in form of a literal repetition, interval magnification, and interval minimization, 2) there is a function of rhythm pattern of Jepin Lembut music instrument in Tebas subdistrict of Sambas Regency, namely at the variety of first movement, nyiur melambai, mayang mengurai, and the first step “tappok”. Key word: rhythm patterns, music Jepin Lembut Tebas Subdistrict Sambas Regency.

Abstract

AbstractThis research entitled “The History of the development of Muhammadiyah in Pontianak from 1990-2000”. The formulation of the problem in this study were: (1)how the background of the establishment of the Muhammadiyah organization in Pontianak, (2) how was the historical development of the Muhammadiyah organization in Pontianak from 1991-2000, (3) how was the role of Muhammadiyah leaders in Pontianak. The research method used in this study was the historicalmethod (historical methodology). The procedures that used in historical method that consist of topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. From this study it was concluded that the establishment of Muhammadiyah in Pontianak City was marked by a visit sent by the PP Muhammadiyah Assembly Tabligh Yogyakarta namely UstadzChatibSyatibi at the end of 1932.The background of the founding of Muhammadiyah in Pontianak is to improve the teachings that are already unreasonable, meaning the teachings that do not enter alak are like superstition too trusting dukuns or inanimate objects. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang komperehensip mengenai kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja wali kelas di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4 Pontianak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitain kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber datanya terdiri dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, wali kelas, guru, dan siswa. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara terstrktur dan mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja wali kelas  di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4 Pontianak telah berjalan dengan baik yaitu dapat dlihat dari kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mempengaruhi, menggerakkan, memberi motivasi kepada wali kelas sehingga wali kelas dapat menjalankan kegiatan kelas sesuai dengan program yang disusun, 2) Kinerja wali kelas di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 4 Pontianak telah melaksanakan program dengan baik seperti membuat program wali kelas, melakukan bimbingan dan pembinaan terhadap siswa, mengelola kelas dan melakukan administrasi kelas dengan baik sesuai dengan tugas yang telah ditetapkan.   Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Wali Kelas Abstract: This study aimed to obtain information komperehensip on school leadership in improving the performance of the guardian class in Vocational High School 4 Pontianak . This research is qualitative descriptive. Source data is comprised of principals, vice principals, homeroom, teachers, and students. Data collection procedures performed through observation, interviews and in-depth terstrktur, and documentation. The results of the following conclusions: 1) Leadership principals in improving the performance of the guardian class in Vocational High School 4 Pontianak has gone well that can be viewed from the principal's leadership in influencing, to mobilize, motivate homeroom so homeroom can run class activities according to the compiled program, 2) performance class teacher at the Vocational School District 4 Pontianak program has been implemented well as making program homeroom, doing counseling and guidance to students, manage the class and administering the class properly in accordance with the tasks that have been set.     Keywords: Leadership Principal, Performance Guardian Class
