Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi yang akurat tentang peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe talking stick pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas III SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan Provensi Kalimantan Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Setting penelitian di kelas  III D SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas III D yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik, menggunakan tiga siklus setiap siklus berisi satu kali pertemuan yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Aktivitas belajar  peserta didik pada base line sebesar 39.71% mengalami peningkatan sebesar 30.79 %  menjadi 64.71 % pada siklus I, pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14.30% menjadi 79.12% dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan sebesar  9.11 %  menjadi 88.23 %, Sedangkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada base line sebesar 65.15  mengalami peningkatan sebesar 11.32  menjadi 76.47  pada siklus I , pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 7.79  menjadi 84.26 dan pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan sebesar  4.12  menjadi 88.38. Dengan demikian kooperatif tipe talking stick ternyata dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Kata Kunci : Aktivitas, hasil, IPS, Talking Stick. Abstract: This study aimed to obtain accurate information about the increase in student learning activities dan outcomes using cooperative models talking stick the type of learning social studies in class III SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan  province Kalimantan Barat. The method used is descriptive method. The study forms were used that study to a Classromm Action Research. Setting research at III D grade SDN 03 Pontianak Selatan district. The subjects were students III D classes totaling 34 students, using three cycles each cycle contains one meeting that consist of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Student learning activities at baseline by 39.71 % increased by 30.79% to 64.71%, on the second cycle increased by 14.30% to 79.12% and in the third cycle increased by 9.11% to 88.23%. Whereas Student learning outcomes at base line by 65.15 increased by 11.32 to 76.47, on the second cycle increased by 7.79 to 84.26 and in the third cycle increased by 4.12 to 88.38. Thus cooperative learning type talking stick it can increase student learning activities and outcomes.Keywords: Activities, Outcomes, IPS, Talking Stick

Abstract

AbstractPronoun is an important part in Mandarin grammar. ?Ren Jia? and ?Bie Ren? are include as pronoun of person. Can be seen from the word the meaning of the words and the usage , there are similarities and differences. Therefore, students who learn Mandarin in process learning of these two words often make mistakes in understanding which is can create a misuse the words. To find out how the mastery codition of student from Mandarin education study program of FKIP UNTAN toward the pronoun words which are ?Ren Jia? and ?Bie Ren? , the writer use research test method to know the mastery condition of students and analyze student difficulties toward those two words. The result shows that the mastery condition of students toward ?Bie Ren? is better than ?Ren Jia?. ?Bie Ren? the percentage is 68% and ?Ren Jia? only 59%. In the analysis of the type of difficulty, the writer found the students mastery is in ?Ren Jia? used for the first person pronouns and in ?Bie Ren? for use with ?Zi Ji?. Keywords: ?Ren Jia?    ?Bie Ren?   Understanding Condition

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level literasi matematis siswa pada konten Quantity di kelas VII SMP Negeri  Pontianak dan mendeskripsikan kompetensi yang mampu dicapai siswa. Studi kasus dengan subjek sebanyak 6 siswa di kelas VII SMP Negeri Pontianak yang memiliki kemampuan berbeda. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa 2 siswa berkemampuan atas dapat mencapai level 5 literasi matematis (memiliki kompetensi refleksi), 1 siswa berkemampuan tengah dapat mencapai level 4 literasi matematis (memiliki kompetensi koneksi), 1 siswa berkemampuan tengah lainnya hanya dapat mencapai level 1 literasi matematis (memiliki kompetensi reproduksi), 1 siswa berkemampuan bawah dapat mencapai level 3 literasi matematis (memiliki kompetensi koneksi), dan 1 siswa berkemampuan bawah lainnya hanya dapat mencapai level 1 literasi matematis (memiliki kompetensi reproduksi). Hasil ini menyiratkan bahwa ada siswa yang mampu mencapai di atas level 1 literasi matematis. Kata kunci: Literasi Matematis, Level Literasi Matematis, Konten Quantity   Abstract: This research is aim to know level of student’s mathematical literacy on Quantity content in grade VII SMP Negeri Pontianak and describe competency which is student can reach. The case study with 6 subjects in grade VII SMP Negeri Pontianak who has differences capability. The result of data analysis indicated that 2 students who have upper capability can reach level 5 (have reflection competency), 1 student who has middle capability can reach level 4 (have connection competency), 1 other student who has middle capability can reach level 1 (have reproduction competency), 1 student who has lower capability can reach level 3 (have connection competency), and 1 other student who has lower capability can reach level 1 (have reproduction competency). Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to analyze the extent of the influence of the use of video media learning geography learning material on hydrosphere dynamics of hydrosphere and its impact on the lives of student learning outcomes against X-grade IPS School Intermediate A bag Interior 2 Pontianak. The research method used was the method of experiments with forms of research quaisy experiment design with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research was to grade X IPS high school 2 Pontianak. The sample in this research was the class. The technique of sampling probability sampling was used. Data collecting tool in the form of test results of student learning that was a matter of objective amounted to 30 items. Calculation based on the results of the research of the control class and classroom experiments obtained thitung of 3.089 and ttabel with a = 5% and dk = 1.998 was 65. Thus thitung (3.089) > ttabel (1.998), thus Ha was received. So, it can be concluded that there was an influence of the use of video media on learning the geography of the hydrosphere learning towards a learning outcomes grade X IPS high school 2 Pontianak. Based on the results of the calculation of Effect Size obtained ICE of 0.81 (criteria). This means learning by using learning video media hydrosphere on learning geography gives the influence to student learning outcomes grade X IPS high school 2 Pontianak.Keywords: Learning Results, Media Influence Learning The Hydrosphere, Video

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this thesis is the analysis of the factors causing dropouts in the whole village of tebas in the district of Sambas, Sambas, The purpose of this study was to find out the factors that cause dropouts in the whole village of the tebas sub-district of Sambas district. This research was conducted with descriptive research methods using qualitative forms. The research technique used was direct communication techniques and documentary study techniques with the results of the research as follows: 1) internal factors causing school dropouts. Based on the results of research on internal factors that cause school dropouts in this study because there is no willingness in the child himself to continue his education as children prefer to work. 2) external factors causing school dropouts. Based on the results of the research, the external factors that cause child dropouts are where the economic parents of children cannot finance because income from parents is only sufficient for their daily needs and lack of encouragement or motivation for children to continue their education.   Keywords: Causes of School Dropouts,External Factors, Internal  Factors

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out the translation procedure used by the Semester-6 students of English Language Education Study Program at Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Tanjungpura University in Academic Year 2014/2015 in translating idiom in form of narrative text. The research method used in this reseach was descriptive study. The descriptive study was used to describe and find out the translation procedure used by Semester-6 students in their translation. The sample of this research was 24 students. The result of this study showed that there were eight procedures that students used in their translations and there are three procedures that students tend to use. They are equivalence procedure that was used 57 times (26.39%), paraphrase procedure that was used 43 times (19.91%), and literal translation procedure that was used 35 times (16.20%).   Keywords: Translation, Translation Procedure, Idioms, Narrative   Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan prosedur penerjemahan yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa semester enam Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Tanjungpura Tahun Ajaran 2014/2015 dalam menerjemahkan idiom dalam bentuk teks narasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian deskriptif digunakan untuk menguraikan dan menemukan prosedur penerjemahan yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa semester enam dalam terjemahan mereka. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 24 mahasiswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat delapan prosedur yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam terjemahan mereka dan terdapat tiga prosedur yang cenderung lebih sering digunakan. Prosedur-prosedur tersebut adalah prosedure ekuivalen yang digunakan sebanyak 57 kali (26.39%), prosedur parafrase yang digunakan sebanyak 43 kali (19.91%), dan prosedur penerjemahan literal yang digunakan sebanyak 35 kali (16.20%).   Kata Kunci: Terjemahan, Prosedur Terjemahan, Idiom, Naratif

Bengkayang and discribing the students’ learning desire in art learning, then applying the make-match model to the VIIIA students of the SMP Negeri this researchis the number of students who do not raech: the completeness of the class is based on VIIIA Which s mre then the old class. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine the design of thematic learning modules, thematic learning module profiles, and learning outcomes on thematic learning of colonialism national events used modules in grade V elementry schools. This research is a development research use 4D model with 4 stages consist of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results showed the development of thematic modules used range of 0-4 obtained an average value by material experts, media experts, and design experts are 3.58 with valid criteria. Student responses to thematic modules obtained an average 3.31 with valid criteria. The thematic module profile includes introduction, content and evaluation section and fulfilled the characteristics of self instruction, self contained, adaptive and user friendly. Learning outcomes of students cognitive aspects use thematic modules obtained percentage of completeness is 88%. Learning outcomes of student attitudes and skills aspect after use thematic learning modules are included good categories.Keywords: Thematic module, National events of colonialism, 4D Model.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to design a story book based on West Kalimantan folktales to support teaching reading narrative text. In this research, the method was developmental research that used ADDE instructional design as the phase in developing the materials.  The story book is intended to be supplementary materials in teaching reading narrative text. The story book was assessed by the experts according to several aspects. Total score of the expert assessment of the content was 95.83% by the maximum score was 100% and total score of the expert assessment of the illustration design was 95.45% by the maximum score was 100%.The experts assessment result showed that the story book was suitable and in good quality to be used by the teacher and students as supplementary material to support teaching reading narrative text.Keywords: Local Folktales, ADDIE Approach, Reading Materials Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang sebuah buku cerita berdasarkan cerita daerah Kalimantan Barat untuk mendukung pengajaran membaca teks naratif. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan materi yang menerapkan ADDE sebagai prosedur. Buku cerita di gunakan sebagai materi tambahan dalam mengajarkan membaca teks naratif. Buku cerita telah di nilai oleh dua orang ahli berdasarkan beberapa aspek. Nilai total dari penilaian ahli berdasarkan isi buku cerita adalah 95.83% dengan nilai maksimal 100% dan nilai total dari penilaian ahli berdasarkan bentuk ilustrasi adalah 95.45% dengan nilai maksimal 100%. Hasil dari penilaian ahli menunjukan bahwa buku cerita yang di buat oleh peneliti sesuai dan memiliki kualitas yang baik untuk digunakan oleh guru dan siswa sebagai materi tambahan untuk mendukung pengajaran membaca teks naratif.Kata kunci: Cerita Daerah, Pendekatan ADDIE, Materi Reading

Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa melalui Problem Based Learning (PBL) Berstruktur Metakognisi. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan bentuk desain dengan Kelompok Kontrol Tak-Setara. Kelas eksperimen diterapkan model PBL berstruktur metakognisi dan untuk kelas kontrol diterapkan model PBL saja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh hasil bahawa (1) Kemampuan awal problem solving dan penalaran matematis mahasiswa kedua kelas sebelum diberi perlakuan adalah sama, (2) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan awal problem solving dan penalaran matematis mahasiswa kedua kelas setelah diberi perlakuan,  (3) Peningkatan kemampuan problem solving pada kelas yang diterapkannya PBL berstruktur metakognisi dengan rerata skor 2,97 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang hanya diterapkan PBL saja dengan rerata skor 1,10. (4) Peningkatan kemampuan penalaran matematis pada kelas yang diterapkannya PBL berstruktur metakognisi dengan rerata skor 3,58 lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kelas yang hanya diterapkan PBL saja dengan rerata skor 1,93. Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Metakognisi, Kemampuan Problem Solving, Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis   Abstract: This research aimed at improving students ' mathematical reasoning ability through Problem Based Learning (PBL) Structured Metacognition. This form of research is quasi experimental research with form design with an equivalent control group. Classroom experiments applied Metacognition and structured model of PBL for the control class is applied to a model of PBL course. Based on the findings of this research, the researcher found that (1) The ability of mathematical reasoning of the university student from two different clases were equaly before the implematation of the action. (2) After the implemantation of the action the researcher found different ability of mathematical reasoning in both classses. (3) The students ability of mathematical problem solving improved as well in experimental class.
