Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted to improve the learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau on Archimedes law through the application of a pictorial riddle-assisted inquiry model. The form of this research was quasy experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design, which involved 24 students of class VIII C (control class) and 24 students of class VIII D (experimental class) of SMP Negeri 2 Putussibau. Learning outcome data obtained through 10 essay test questions and analyzed using independent samples test with a significance level of 5% preceded by analysis prerequisite tests, obtained sig values. (0.012 <0.05) these results indicated that there were differences in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class. Improved learning outcomes in the experimental class were analyzed using the N-Gain score and an increase of 0.47 (moderate category) was obtained. This research is expected to be an alternative for teachers to improve learning outcomes in science-physics learning, especially in conceptual material. Keywords: Archimedes Law, Learning Outcomes, Pictorial Riddle-Assisted   Inquiry Model

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to develop learning using Ular Tangga Fisika learning media using Ular Tangga Fisika in SMP Negeri 1 Sejangkung and Mts Muhammadiyah Sejangkung, and determine the feasibility level of development using Ular Tangga Fisika as a physics learning media in SMP Negeri 1 Sejangkung and Mts Muhammadiyah Sejangkung. This type of research and development (R&D) with development methods using the Borg & Gall model. Development of learning media for Ular Tangga Fisika with 10 stages: (1) research and initial information gathering, (2) planning, (3) initial product format development, (4) initial trial, (5) initial product revision, (6) field trials, (7) product revisions, (8) field tests, (9) final product revisions, and (10) dissemination and implementation. Determination of the level of media feasibility based on the validation expert test. The percentage achieved by material experts conducted by Untan physics education lecturers at 84.375% can mean that dynamic electrical material is in a very feasible category. The percentage achieved by media experts is 81.25%, which means that the snake ladder physics learning media is in a very feasible category. The percentage achieved by science teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Sejangkung and Mts Muhammadiyah Sejangkung by 96.875% can mean that the media is very feasible. The learning media developed is used for conceptual change of students by using the McNemar test. X2 the price of 9.234 for SMP Negeri 1 Sejangkung and 18.7805 for Mts Muhammadiyah Sejangkung. Keywords: Learning Media, Feasibility

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of the integrated social studies teacher (ISST) social studies activities on the professional competence of junior high school integrated social science teachers in Mempawah Regency. This study uses a quantitative method with two variables, they are Integrated Subject Teacher (ISST) social studies (X) and professional competence (Y). Determination of the sample used is the Slovin formula. The data source of this research is Integrated Social Sciences teachers who teach in Mempawah District with a sample of 55 people. Data collection techniques used consisted of: 1. questionnaire, 2. interview, and 3. documentation. Data obtained from the results of respondents' questionnaires and from the results of interviews with MGMP administrators and interviews with Integrated Social Studies subject supervisors from the District Education Office in Mempawah. Then do the validity and reliability test, the analysis prerequisite test using the normality test and linearity test. Next test the hypothesis using simple regression analysis. From the regression results obtained by the equation Y = 30,803 + 1,186 x. Test the significance of the regression equation with the t test obtained t arithmetic = 11.92 and t table 2.006 which means significant (t arithmetic> t table), then obtained significance value 0,000 <0.05 which means there is a positive and significant effect. Obtained results there is a relationship between ISST activities (variable X) with a level of professional competence (variable Y) of 0.851 and the magnitude of the contribution of the influence of ISST R2 (square) activities of 0.725 or 72.5% on professional competence. So there is an influence between ISST activities with the professional competence of Junior High School Integrated Social Sciences teachers in Mempawah Regency. Keywords: Influence, ISST activities, Professional Competence

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to describe the correlation between independence and study habits with learning outcomes in the thematic learning of class V Elementary School Cluster X Sungai Kakap Kubu Raya. The research method used is descriptive in the form of correlational study research. The population in this study was the students of Elementary School Cluster X Sungai Kakap numbering 92 students. The samples in the study were 48 students who were determined by sample random sampling technique, namely the VB class 18 Elementary School Sungai Kakap totaling 22 students and the VA class 27 Elementary School Sungai Kakap totaling 26 students. The results of the study showed an average independence learning of 78.88, study habits of 80.79, and learning outcomes of 78.31. Statistical calculations using the product moment correlation formula namely learning independence with learning outcomes obtained rhitung of 0.514 and study habits with learning outcomes obtained rhitung of 0.376. For independence and study habits with learning outcomes using the multiple correlation formula obtained by 0.514 included in the category of moderate relations with Fhitung at 8.08 and Ftabel α = 5% at 3.205 which means Fhitung (8.08)> Ftabel (3,205), then Ha is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between independence and study habits with learning outcomes in the thematic learning of class V Elementary School Cluster X Sungai Kakap Kubu Raya. Keywords: Correlation, Learning Independence, Study Habits, Learning Outcomes, and Thematic Learning
