Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe the dominant external factors influencing students’ English learning achievements and to investigate how is the correlation of external factors toward students’ English learning achievements of eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap in academic year 2013/2014. The researcher applied descriptive quantitative study using a correlation study in conducting this research. The data in this research were collected by using questionnaire with Likert-scale and the document of the students’ English learning achievements in the first semester in the academic year 2013/2014. The result of research finding shows that the dominant external factors are teacher factor and classroom interaction factor. The percentage of teacher factor is 80.3% and classroom interaction is 74.3%. The computation also found that the correlation between external factors and English learning achievement was categorized as high to very high (2.56). It means that the alternative hypothesis “There is a significant influence of external factors toward students’ English learning achievement” is accepted. Keywords: External factors, students English learning achievements Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan faktor eksternal dominan yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris dan untuk mengetahui bagaiman korelasi antara faktor eksternal terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris pada siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Sungai Kakap di tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Peneliti menerapkan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode korelasi. Data-data dalam penelitian ini diambil menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi rapor siswa kelas XI semester 1 tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal yang dominan adalah faktor guru dan faktor interaksi kelas. Persentase faktor guru sebesar 80.3% dan persentase faktor interaksi kelas sebesar 74.3%. Hasil peneitian juga menunjukkan korelasi antara faktor eksternal dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris dikategorikan dalam korelasi yang sangat tinggi yaitu mencapai angka 2,56. Itu berarti alternatif hipotesis, yakni “Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari faktor eksternal terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris” dapat diterima. Abstract

Abstract : This reasearch focus on the use video conversation in teaching speaking at seventh grade students in SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak in academic years 2014/2015. This research raise because the researcher interested to described how a English teacher teaching by using video conversation. The researcher used descriptive qualitative research with direct and indirect data as teachnique of data collecting. The reseacher conducted interview, participant observation and documentation as tool of data collecting. The research results show that it was more efective using video conversation in teaching speaking at SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. The students were  easier to understand what the teacher teach and explain. The students more interest and active in the class. The teacher provided materials based on texts, such as textbooks and LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) and the teacher searching the videos appropiate with the material in internet. In addition, the teacher provided  the  students with assessment  that emphasizes  the measurement of learning outcomes in the form of students’ competencies to do something.   Keywords : Video conversation, Teaching speaking   Abstrak : Penelitian ini fokus pada penggunaan vidio percakapan didalam mengajar berbicara pada siswa SMP Negeri 6 pontianak kelas 7 tahun akademik 2014/2015. Penelitian ini diangkat karena peneliti tertarik untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana seorang guru Bahasa Inggris mengajar menggunakan vidio percakapan. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian diskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik langsung dan tidak langsung sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Peneliti melakukan wawancara, observasi peserta dan dokumentasi sebagai alat pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lebih efektif menggunakan vidio percakapan dalam mengajar berbicara di SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. Siswa lebih mudah untuk mengerti apa yang guru ajarkan dan jelaskan. Siswa lebih tertarik dan aktif di dalam kelas. Guru menyediakan materi berdasarkan teks seperti buku-buku dan LKS (Lembar Kerja Siswa) dan guru mencari vidio yang sesuai dengan materi di internet. Sebagai tambahan, guru menyediakan penilaian siswa untuk mengukur hasil pembelajaran dalam bentuk kemampuan siswa melakukan sesuatu.   Kata Kunci : Vidio percakapan, Mengajar berbicara

Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to see the effect of the implementation of model student team achievement division on civics lesson scores and analyze how much the effect of student teams achievement division model implementation on civics lesson scores for third-grade students of Public Elementary School 34 Pontianak Kota. This study used a quasi-experimental experiment method, with an experimental design of Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study is all third-grade students of Public Elementary School 34 Pontianak Kota. Subjects in this study are whole students of the third class of E which are 32 students as an experimental class and third class of A which are 31 students as a control group/class. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques, with data collection tools in the form of 35 objective tests. Then the analysis is done using the t-test. Based on the results of the analysis obtained t_count (3,391)> t table (1,676) then Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there are differences in civics lesson scores between students who used the Student Teams Achievement Division Model and students who did not use the Student Teams Achievement Division Model. From the calculation of the effect size obtained ES of 0.62 (medium criteria). It means learning by implementing the Student Teams Achievement Division Model gives moderate effect on student civics lesson score for third-grade students of Public Elementary School 34 Pontianak Kota. Keywords: The Effect, Theory Of Model Student Team Achievement Division, Civics Lesson Scores.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the civics learning  outcomes by using numbered heads together in the fourth grade public elementary school 56 West Pontianak. The method that used in this research was descriptive method with a form of classroom action research. The subject in this research were teacher and 30 students of class IV. The procedure in this research consists of four step: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data collection technique that used in this research were direct observation technique and scrutiny documents. The data collection technique that used in this research were observation sheets and sheets of scrutiny documents. This research result: 1) the ability of teacher to plan learning in cycle 1, with an average score of 3,45. In cycle 2 and cycle 3 becomes 3,77 to 3,85. 2) the ability of teacher in implementing the learning in the first cycle, with an average score of 3,57, in cycle 2 to 3,72, in cycle 3 to 3,75. 3) An increase in the average learning outcomes of class IV at first cycle is 79,67 the second cycle increase to 87,67 and in cycle 3 into 89,67. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Civics Learning, NHT

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tematik menggunakan pendekatan saintifik  kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dan sifat penelitian bersifat kolaboratif, subyek penelitian yaitu guru dan peserta didik kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang yang berjumlah 14 orang. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi langsung, teknik dokumenter, dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan observasi melalui pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang menyatakan penerapan pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran tematik di kelas I Sekolah Dasar Negeri 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik, diterima. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the learners' learning activities by using scientific approach in thematic learning at the first grade students in the Elementary School 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang. This research method is descriptive, in classroom action research, and the nature of this research is qualitative research, the research subjects are teacher and learners elementary school first grade students in the Elementary School 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang which consisted of 14 people in whole. The techniques used in this research were the technique of direct observation, documentary technique, and data collection tool were used as observation guidelines. The result based on observation by using scientific approach had improved learners' learning activities. This shows that the hypothesis that stated the application scientific approach in thematic learning at the first grade in the Elementary School 14 Benua Kayong Ketapang can improve learners' learning activities, accepted. AbstractThe making process of Sape’ Ting Dua’, shortly, the instrument’s structure of Sape’ Ting Dua’ and its teqnique of Sape’ Ting Dua’ from Kayaan Mendalam tribe in Desa Datah Diaan that is the background of this writing. Specifically up to this point, this research is about how the structure of Sape’ Ting Dua’ instrument, how the process of making it, and how the technique of the instrument of Sape’ Ting Dua’ of Dayak Kayaan Mendalam tribe.The method of this research is descriptive with qualitative method and etnomusicology approach. The data of this research is the result of observation, documentations, the note book relates to the making process of Sape’ Ting Dua’. The resource data of this research is Dasius Simu’, Siprianus Gunung, Tarsisius Alel Sano. The data collection technique of this research is observation, interview, and documentations. The instrument of data collection of this research is the researcher as the main instrument. The validity data of this reserach is extended observation and triangulation technique. The technique of analisys data of this research is the analysis data during the collecting and after the analysis of collecting data. The result of this research is to describe how the short history of Sape’ Ting Dua, the making process of it, and the technique instruments of Sape’ Ting Dua’ of Dayak Kayaan Mendalam tribe.Sape’ Ting Dua’ is the instrument that has been a habit of people in Dayak Kayaan Mendalam sub tribe. In the process of making Sape’ Ting Dua’, this instrument uses the basic material of Medaang. The process of making this instrument was quite difficult because it uses tradtional method. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian tindakan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV pada pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi pada materi Rangka manusia pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Pemuatan batu dengan rumusan masalah umumnya, yaitu : apakah dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi Rangka manusia dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN 12 Pemuatan Batu ? Bentuk penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyeknya guru dan 20 orang siswa kelas IV SDN 12 Pemuatan batu . Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dilakukan dalam dua siklus tindakan. Dengan tahapan setiap siklusnya terdiri dari : tahap perencanaan tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Dalam pelaksanaan setiap siklus tersebut digunakan teknik observasi langsung dengan alat pedoman observasi dan teknik pengukuran dengan alat tes dan penilaian aktivitas belajar siswa. Selanjutnya dari data yang terkumpul diolah dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis data. Kata Kunci : Metode Demonstrasi , Aktivitas belajar, Pembelajaran IPA Abstract : Action research was conducted with the aim to improve students' learning activities in the fourth grade science lesson by using the method of demonstration in the framework of human material in grade IV Elementary School 12 stone Loading the general formulation of the problem , namely, " whether by using demonstration method in teaching science in the framework of human material can increase the activity of students in learning science in the fourth grade at SDN 12 Stone Loading ? Form of research is Classroom Action Research . The subject teachers and 20 fourth grade students of SDN 12 stone Loading . Classroom Action Research (CAR ) is done in two cycles of action . With each cycle consisting of phases : planning phase implementation stage , the stage of observation , and reflection phase . In each cycle of the implementation techniques used direct observation by means of observation and measurement techniques by means of tests and assessment of student learning activities .   Abstrak :Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kedisiplinan belajar siswa di kelas XI Teknik Otomasi di SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak Utara. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan belajar siswa di kelas XI Teknik Otomasi di SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak Utara sebagaian siswa sudah memiliki kedsiplinan belajar yang baik namun masih ada beberapa siswa yang kurang memiliki kedisiplinan belajar yang baik. Hal ini dilihat dari beberapa aspek dalam penelitian yaitu kedisiplinanbelajar dalam kehadiran siswa di kelas XI Teknik Otomasi masih adanya siswa yang sering absensi atau alpa di dalam kelas, kedisiplinan belajar dalam mengikuti pelajaran di kelas XI Teknik Otomasi sebagian siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran tidak serius, berbicara dengan temannya, tidur-tiduran saat guru menjelaskan materi pembelajaran, kedisiplinan belajar dalam mengerjakan tugas sebagaian siswa tidak mengerjakan tugas yang telah diberikan guru baik dikerjakan dirumah maupun disekolah.   Kata kunci :Kedisiplinan Belajar Abstract :disciplinary research purposes to determine student learning in clas XI Automation Engineering at SMK Negeri 2 North Pontianak. The approach used  in this study is a qualitative approach with  descriptive methods. Research results show that the discipline learned in class XI Automation Engineering School 2 North Pontianak most student already have a good discipline, but there are some studentwho lack a good learning discipline. This can be seen from several aspects in the study of the presence of student in clas XI Automation Persistence of student who frequent absences or negligent in the classroom, discipline in following the lessons learned in class XI Automation majority of student in participating classes are not serious, talking  with friends, sleeping-sleeping while the teacher explains the learning materials, discipline learned in doing the majority of student do not di the work that has been given a good teacher is done at home or at school. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik dalam pembelajaran tematik terpadu dengan  menggunakan pendekatan saintifik di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Simpang Hulu Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif Bentuk penelitiannya adalah survey studies. Jenis penelitiannya tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidik dan peserta didik yang berjumlah 17 orang. Aktivitas fisik dari penelitian awal (baseline) dengan rata-rata 35,29% pada siklus 3 meningkat dengan rata-rata 94,12%, terjadi peningkatan 58,83%. Aktivitas mental mengalami peningkatan dari penelitian awal (baseline) dengan rata-rata 16,18% pada siklus 3 meningkat dengan rata-rata 73,53%, terjadi peningkatan 57,35%. Aktivitas emosional mengalami peningkatan dari penelitian awal (baseline) dengan rata-rata 32,35% pada siklus 3 meningkat dengan rata-rata 97,06%, terjadi peningkatan 64,71%. Dengan menggunakan media realia menunjukkan kegiatan pembelajaran pada peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Simpang Hulu Ketapang  lebih menarik, membangkitkan kreativitas, menyenangkan dan bermakna bagi peserta didik.   Kata kunci : Peningkatan aktivitas, tematik terpadu, saintifik.   Abstract : The purpose of this study to describe the increase in the activity of learners in an integrated thematic learning by using the scientific approach in Public Elementary School fifth grade 10 Simpang Hulu Ketapang. The method used in this research is descriptive method of research is a survey studies Form. Type class action research. Subjects in this study were educators and learners who totaled 17 people. Physical activity from initial research (baseline) with an average of 35.29% in the third cycle increased by an average of 94.12%, an increase 58.83%. Mental activity has increased from the initial study (baseline) with an average of 16.18% in the third cycle increased by an average of 73.53%, an increase 57.35%. Emotional activity increased from the initial study (baseline) with an average of 32.35% in the third cycle increased by an average of 97.06%, an increase 64.71%. By using realia media showed students learning activities in class V Elementary School 10 Simpang Hulu Ketapang more interesting, inspire creativity, fun and meaningful for learners.   Keywords : Increased activity, integrated thematic, scientific.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai perbandingan antara model cooperative learning tipe make a match dan metode diskusi terhadap keterampilan menulis siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas IV Sesolah Dasar Negeri 24 Pontianak Tenggara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan bentuk quasi exsperimental design. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik dari rata-rata nilai siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 77,68 dan kelas kontrol 79,95 diperoleh thitung sebesar -1,18 dan ttabel (α = 5% yaitu 2,018 dengan dk = 42) ini berarti t hitung < t tabel (-1,18 < 2,018) maka Ha ditolak dan Ho diterima. Hal ini berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan keterampilan menulis siswa antara model cooperative learning tipe make a match dengan metode diskusi pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia elas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 24 Pontianak Tenggara.   Kata kunci: Cooperative Learning Tipe Make A Match, Metode Diskusi.   Abstract: This study aimed to obtain information on the comparison between the model of cooperative learning match the type and method of make a discussion on the writing skills of students in learning Indonesian Public Elementary fourth grade Sesolah 24 East Pontianak. The research method used is a form of quasi-experimental method with exsperimental design. Based on the statistical calculation of the average value of the experimental class students and grade control for 77.68 79.95 -1.18 obtained tcount and ttable (α = 5% is 2.018 with df = 42) this means that t <t table (-1.18 <2.018) then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.
