Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pola tabuhan ugal-ugal dan sarame, bentuk ritual Otar-Otar, dan bentuk seni pertunjukan Otar-Otar. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analitik dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian adalah narasumber yang memahami dan mengetahui kesenian Otar-Otar. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat dua pola tabuhan yang digunakan untuk mengiringi kesenian Otar-Otar, yaitu ugal-ugal menggunakan birama 4/4 dan sarame menggunakan birama 3/4. Pada pola tabuhan ugal-ugal dan sarame terdapat motif pola tabuhan yang berbentuk pengulangan harafiah pada alat musik gendang panjang, canang, tawak-tawak dan aggong. Bentuk ritual sajian Otar-Otar terdapat tiga ritual. Bentuk pertunjukan Otar-Otar terdiri dari kuntau, tari, dan silat. Iringan musik pada bagian kuntau menggunakan pola tabuhan ugal-ugal, sedangkan pada bagian tari dan silat menggunakan pola tabuhan sarame. Saat ini pertunjukan Otar-Otar hanya menggunakan pola tabuhan sarame. Kata Kunci: Otar-otar, Sarame, Ugal-ugal Abstract : The purpose of this research is to describe beat pattern of ugal-ugal and sarame, ritual of Otar-Otar, and forms of Otar-Otar art performance. The method in this research is descriptive analythic method with qualitative research form. The source of the data in this research is from the people who know about Otar-Otar art as interview. The result of this study includes two beat patterns of Otar-Otar arts music background, there are ugal-ugal that use 4/4 time signature and sarame that used 3/4 time signature. In the beat pattern of ugal-ugal and sarame there is motive of beat pattern that have literally repetition stuff on gendang panjang, canang, tawak-tawak and aggong instrument. Otar-Otar has three rituals. The beginning of the show opened with kuntau, then followed by dance, and closed with silat. The backsound music on the kuntau part using ugal-ugal beat pattern, while on the dance and silat part use sarame beat pattern. Nowdays Otar-Otar performance just using sarame beat pattern for all the part. Key words: Otar-otar, Sarame, Ugal-ugal.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran metematika dengan media konkrit di kelas VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 28 Pontianak Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (class action research). Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa: 1) kemampuan guru dalam menyusun RPP berada pada katagori baik; 2) kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran berada pada katagori baik; 3) aktivitas belajar siswa yang dilakukan meningkat setelah tindakan pada siklus 2; 4) Setelah dilaksanakan pembelajaran pada sisklus 1 dan siklus terjadi peningkatan pada aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus 1 ke siklus 2 sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajarnya.   Kata Kunci: Aktivitas Belajar, Pembelajaran Matematika, dan Media Konkrit   Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim to improve the learning process of the learning activities of students in learning metematika with concrete media in Public Elementary School sixth grade 28 East Pontianak. The method used in this study was descriptive, in the form of a Class Action Research (class action research). The results showed that: 1) the ability of teachers in preparing lesson plans that are in the good category; 2) the ability of teachers in implementing the learning is in the good category; 3) students' learning activities undertaken to increase after the action in cycle 2; 4) After the study carried out on 1 and cycle sisklus an increase in the activity of students in cycle 1 to cycle 2 so that the impact on learning outcomes.   Key Word: Learning Activity, Learning Mathematics, and Media Concrete

Abstrak: Permasalahansiswadalammenulisadalahmerekatidaktahubagaimanacaramenemukan ide danmengembangkan ide tersebutuntuktulisanmerekadanbagaimanamenggunakanpendapatmerekaterhadapsebuah ide tersebut. Untukmembantusiswadalammemecahkanpermasalahantersebut, penulismenggunakanteknikpenekananbimbingandalamtahappra-menulisdenganmemberikanmerekapertanyaan-pertanyaanterkaitdenganteks model yang telahdisiapkanuntukmembantusiswamenemukan ide untuktulisanmereka.Untukmembantumerekamenggunakanpendapatmerekasendiri di dalamtulisnmereka, penulismemilihteksberbentuk hortatory exposition.Penelitianinidilakukandenganmetode pre-experimental desainsatukelompok pretest-posttest yang bertujuanuntukmengetahuiapakahpenekananbimbingan  yang menggunakanpertanyaan 5WH dapatmeningkatkankemampuansiswakelassebelas di SMA Negeri 6 tahunakademik 2012/2013 dalammenulisteksberbentuk hortatory exposition. Kelas yang dipiliholehpenulisadalahkelas IPA A yang terdiridari 27 siswa.Teknikpengumpulan data yang digunakanadalahpengukurandanalat yang digunakanuntukmengumpulkan data adalahtestertulis.Penelitianinimenunjukkanbahwapenekananbimbingandenganmenggunakan 5WH dalamtahappra-menulisefektifdalammeningkatkankemampuansiswadalammenulisteksberbentuk hortatory exposition.Hasildarianalisis data menunjukkanpeningkatan yang signifikansebesar 21.85 dengannilai rata-rata pretest yaitu 55.19 yang tergolongdalamkriterianilai rata-rata dannilai rata-rata posttest yaitu 77.05 yang tergolongdalamkriterianilaibaik. Efekpengukurandariperlakuanmenunjukkanbahwapenekananbimbingandenganmenggunakanpertanyaan 5WH dalamtahappra-menulissangatefektifdalammeningkatkankemampuansiswadalammenulisteksberbentuk hortatory exposition.   Kata Kunci: PenekananBimbinganPadaTahapPra-Menulis, TeksBerbentuk Hortatory Exposition Abstract: Most of students’ problems in writing are that they do not know how to generate and develop the idea for their writing and how to express their opinion of an idea. To help the students to overcome their problems, the writer used emphasizing guidance technique in prewriting stage by giving the students 5WH questions provided by the writer to help the students to generate the idea for their writing. To help them to use their own opinion of an idea in their writing, the writer chose hortatory exposition text.This research was conducted in a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design and purposed to investigate whether the emphasis of guidance by using 5WH questions can improve students’ skill in writing hortatory exposition text to eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak in academic year 2012/2013. The class which was taken by the writer was science class A which consists of 27 students. The technique of data collecting was measurement and the tool of data collecting was written test.It was found that emphasizing guidance by using 5WH in prewriting stage is effective in improving students’ skill in writing hortatory exposition text. The result of data analysis showed significant improvement of 21.85 with mean score of pretest 55.19 which is qualified as average and mean score of posttest 77.05 which is qualified as good. The effect size of the treatment (1.91) is more than 0.8 and categorized as high. The effect size of treatment shows that emphasizing guidance by using 5WH questions in prewriting stage is highly effective in improving students’ skill in writing hortatory exposition text.   Keywords: Emphasizing Guidance in Pre-Writing stage, Hortatory Exposition Text

Abstract

Abstrak: Upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui pemanfaatan alam sekitar dilingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas IV SDN 27 Sungai Kakap. Dari hasil observasi awal yang dilakukan pada kegiatan pembelajaran IPA dikelas IV SDN 27 Sungai Kakap, rendahnya hasil belajar siswa tes awal menunjukkan rata-rata hanya 3,8. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut perlu dilaksanakan perbaikan pembelajaran guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Salah satunya memanfaatkan alam sekitar dilingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 27 Sungai Kakap. Adapun rancangan penelitian meliputi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Studi pendahuluan dilakukan untuk memperoleh refleksi awal selanjutnya tindakan perbaikan pembelajaran dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus tindakan diamati secara langsung oleh peneliti. Setelah diadakan penelitian adanya perubahan peningkatan dari siklus 1, siklus 2 dan siklus 3. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diambil kesimpulan, disarankan pada guru untuk memanfaatkan alam sekitar dilingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran IPA. Kata kunci : Lingkungan sekolah, tindakan kelas, hasil belajar Abstract: Efforts to improve learning outcomes through the utilization of the natural surrounding environment of the school as a learning resource in learning science in the fourth grade at SDN 27 Gammon River. From the initial observations on science learning activities in class IV SDN 27 Gammon River, lower students' initial test showed an average of only 3.8. Relative to the improvement of learning need to be implemented in order to improve student learning outcomes. One of them take advantage of the natural surrounding environment of the school as a learning resource. The research was conducted in the fourth grade students of SDN 27 Gammon River. The study design includes the introduction, planning, action, observation and reflection. Preliminary studies conducted to obtain early reflections subsequent study conducted corrective action as much as 3 cycles of action directly observed by researchers. Subsequent to the study of changes increased from cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3. Based on the results of the study be concluded, suggested the teachers to take advantage of the natural surrounding environment of the school as a learning resource in learning science. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to test the effectiveness of Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual (SAVI) model to improve students learning result about heat in SMP N 22 Pontianak. The method of this research was quasi experimental nonequivalent control group. The samples of this research were all VII A students as experimental class and VII C students as control class that were selected through intact group technique. The instrument that was used consisted of 8 objective questions and 3 essai questions. The results of this research were: (1) The participants of the experiment class have improvement on the results of the study 31.17, higher compared with the control class of 17.58 . (2) There are differences of the study results from participant of experiment class and control class (.Sig 0.012<0.05] after the learning activities. (3) The SAVI learning effectiveness is 0.73 (category is moderate) in improving the study results of the participant compared to conventional learning. The implementation of Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual (SAVI) is expected to become an alternative in improving the results of the study from the participants on other physics teaching and learning materials.Keywords: Heat, Results study, Somatic Auditory Visual Intellectual

Abstract

AbstractThe aimed of this research was to knowed how the effectiveness of mind mapping learning model with heuristic strategy Krulik and Rudnick in problem solving on probability materials in SMA. The method used is pre-experiment method, while the subject are 32 students of class XI IPA4 SMAN 5 Pontianak. The technique used in data collection is a measurement technique. Data collection in the form of observation sheet for learners. Data were collected and analyzed by calculating percentages and mean values. This study was conducted 3 times of meetings. the result of the data analysis showed that student activity during the learning process obtained an average of 64,91% which is categorized as quite and posttest result of students' math problem solving ability obtained 61,13 which is categorized well. Based on the research finding, it can be concluded that mind mapping learning model with heuristic strategy of Krulik and Rudnick was effective in teaching on probability material in class XI IPA4 SMAN Pontianak. Keywords:  Mind Mapping Learning Model, The Krulik and Rudnick Heuristic strategies, Problem-Solving

Abstract

Abstrak: Keluhan tentang rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di Kelas VI Sekolah Dasar banyak faktor belum maksimalnya hasil belajar siswa. Dalam hal ini yang menjadi faktor utamanya adalah guru jarang menggunakan media dalam proses pembelajaran dan penyampaian materi dominan secara ekspositor/ceramah pada saat mengajar didalam kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan penggunaan metode demonstrasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.   Kata kunci :  metode demonstrasi, hasil belajar siswa, konduktor dan isolator    panas.   Abstract: Complaints about low student learning outcomes in study Natural Scienc Grade VI Elementary School many factors not maximal student learning outcomes. In this case the main factor is the teachers rarely use the media in the learning process and delivery of content dominant expositor / lecture when teaching in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning outcomes with the use of methods of demonstration. This study used a qualitative approach with the design of classroom action research. The subjects were teachers and students. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of methods of demonstration can improve student learning  outcames. Key words: method of demonstration, student learning outcomes, heat conductors and insulators.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aiming to find profil of student’slearningmistakein 10th Grade SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak on vectormaterial, beforeandafter remediation through booklet that given with feedback. 27 students of SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak were selected to be population group by intact group method. The instrument of data is using diagnostic test. After remediation,  the student’slearningmistakewasdecreasedby 18,13 %. Besidethat, the effectivity of remediation through booklet with feedback, reaching Effect Size by 0,55 with “medium” criteria. Further more, the results of this research can be alternative way for teacher to give remediation in case to resolving student’slearningmistake on vector material. Keyword: remediation, vector, booklet, feedback Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui profil kesalahan belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak pada materi vektor sebelum dan setelah diberikan remediasi dengan pemberian booklet disertai umpan balik. Sebanyak 27 orang siswa kelas XC SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak yang dipilih secara intactgroup berpartisipasi dalam penelitian. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes diagnostik. Setelah dilakukan remediasi, terjadi penurunan kesalahan siswa sebesar 18,13 %. Selain itu efektifitas remediasi bookletdisertai umpan balik diperoleh EffectSize 0,55 dengan kriteria “sedang”. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan alternatif bagi guru dalam melakukan kegiatan remediasi untuk mengatasi kesalahan belajar siswa pada materi vektor. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research problem is the interrogative utterance of the Sanbas Malay language in the film Jembatan Jodoh as a syntactic study. The problem in this study is how the types, markers, and interrogative sentence patterns in the film Jembatan Jodoh and drama text lesson plans in learning Indonesian in junior high school class 8. Descriptive method. Data collection techniques refer to note taking techniques and note taking techniques. Laptop data collection tools and stationery. Based on the results of the study found five interrogative utterances, namely interrogative sentences asking for acknowledgment of answers, asking for information about one of the elements (functions) of the sentence, asking for reasons, asking for opinions or ideas of others, and presenting. Two markers were found namely -lah and -kah. Four interrogative sentence patterns were found namely Intr + FN, Intr + FAdj, Intr + FNum, Intr + Adver. Abstract

Abstract This research aims to analyze the influence of implementanting Teams Games Tournament in thematic learning on student learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students 56 pontianak barat. Experimental method is in the form of pre experimental design research with one grup pretest-postest design. Population in this research consists of 39 students. Sampling teqnique used is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were measurement techniques, with data collection tools in the form of multiple choice. Based on statistical calculation obtained an average pre-test value of 61,67 and an average post-test value of 81.76. T test results obtained that tcount= 51,55 dan ttable ? = 0,01 (with dk= 39-1= 38) =39,80 it means tcount= 51,55 > ttable =39,80. Then alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. Based on the N-Gain analyze obtained value of 0,50 wich is categorizes as medium criteria. It can be concludes that there is an influence of implementanting teams games tournament in thematic learning on student learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students 56 pontianak barat Keywords: Influence, Teams Games Tournament, Student Learning Outcomes
