Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the suitability of the Lesson Plan (RPP) with the learning implementation of Social Studies teacher of SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak in class VIII A, VIII B, and VIII C. This research was conducted from April to May 2019. The method of this research was the qualitative descriptive method. The techniques of this research were observation, interview, and documentation. The result of the research on the first problem showed that in the implementation of the lesson plan with learning, it was carried out with the percentage of 86.6%, it categorized as very good. While the second problem regarding to the components of the Lesson Plan made by the teacher which consists of 13 components was very good, based on the Curriculum 2013 that applied, with the percentage of 85%, and the result of the third research problem about constraints experienced in the implementation of the lesson plan in learning Social Studies to the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak related to facilities and infrastructures, improper of the time allocation, the different characteristics of students and schools, and the certain other unexpected conditions.Keywords: Analysis, Implementation of Lesson Plan (RPP), Social Studies (IPS).

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between audio-visual media and oral language skills in children aged 5-6 years at Immanuel Christian Kindergarten Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample of this research data is children aged 5- 6 years in Immanuel Christian Kindergarten as many as 106 samples taken using simple random sampling method. The data taken were in the form of an assessment sheet for the child's oral language skills by the teacher and a questionnaire filled out by the parents of the students with the help of a google form. Data analysis used the product moment correlation formula and the results showed the rcount value of 0.633 > rtable of 0.195 at the significance level (α) = 0.05, so the conclusion of this study is that Hα is accepted and H0 is rejected, so there is a strong positive influence between the use of audio-visual media. with oral language skills of children aged 5-6 years in Immanuel Christian Kindergarten Pontianak.Keywords : Audio Visual, Learning Media, Oral Language, Skills.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how students who are addicted to pornography. Using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data source of this research is two students of class X SMK Negeri 7 Pontianak who are determined through a questionnaire. The method used is descriptive method with direct communication data collection techniques. Data analysis uses an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing stages. The results showed that the characteristics of pornography addiction are anti-social, forgetting time, often talking dirty, declining academic grades, wasting money, and often masturbating. Internal factors of pornography addiction are curiosity, curiosity and lack of activities to fill empty time. External factors are being influenced by friends, being influenced by the internet and social media, lack of love and role models. The impact of pornography addiction is difficult to control lust, often lying, fantasizing dirty things. The role of parents in helping students who are addicted to pornography has not been implemented. The role of Guidance and Counseling teachers for students who are addicted to pornography has not been implemented. Thus it can be concluded that students who are addicted to pornography have distinctive signs, causes both from internal and external factors, and has a negative impact on students.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the application of the concept sentence modelto the writing skills of third grade students of Elementary School 03Pontianak Kota. The experimental method is a quasi experimentaldesign, and the design is nonequivalent control group design. The studypopulation was 59 students. Data collection techniques usingmeasurement techniques. The instrument used was a 3-question essayresult test sheet. Based on the calculation, the average post-test result forthe control class is 72.88 and the average post-test result for theexperimental class is 79.30 so that the post-test data tcount is 3.587 witht table for significance level α = 5% and dk = 60 is 1.673, becausetcount> ttable, then Ha is accepted, this proves that there is an effect ofthe concept sentence model on the writing skills of third grade students ofPublic Elementary School 03 in Pontianak City. The effect size is 0.66, sothe concept sentence model has a moderate effect on the writing skills ofthe third grade students of Elementary School 03 Pontianak Kota.Keywords: Concept Sentence Model, Influence, Paragraphs, Writing Skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to observe the effect of age, marital status, employment status, education level and income on the intention to return to work in Malaysia in the Beduai sub-district community, Sanggau district (2018-2022 period). The applied research method is associative with a causal form. The data source in this study were former migrant workers from Malaysia who returned from 2018-2022 with a total sample of 67 respondents. The technique used is nonprobability sampling with census sampling method. The data analysis technique applied is multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study reveal that: The variables of employment status, education level and income variables have a significant effect on the intention to return to work, while the variables of age and marital status have no significant effect on the intention to return to work in Malaysia.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of contextual approaches on student learning outcomes in learning citizenship education in grade V elementary school. The research method used was an experimental, non-equivalent group design type Quasi Experimental form. The study population is all fifth grade elementary school students 56 West Pontianak. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The technique used is direct observation and measurement techniques. The data collection tool used is a multiple choice test. The results of data analysis namely, the average score of the control class post-test was 68.06 and the experimental class was 74.83. Based on the results of t-test calculations obtained tcount 2.830> t table 2,000, then Ha is accepted. This shows that there are differences in the learning outcomes of control class students with the experimental class. Calculation of effect size of 0.79 with medium criteria. The conclusion of this research is that there is an effect of the Contextual Approach on Student Learning Outcomes in the Learning of Citizenship Education for Class V Elementary Schools in the medium category. Keywords: Civics Education,Contextual Approach, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine "The Effect of E-commerce on Consumptive Behavior in Economics Education Students, FKIP Untan Pontianak". The method used is a quantitative method with the form of relationship studies. The population is active students of the Pontianak Untan FKIP Economic Education class 2019, 2018 and 2017 regular A and the accelerated gross enrollment rate program (PPAPK) who have spent shopping through E-commerce. While the sample in this study amounted to 56 respondents obtained through simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques using indirect communication techniques and documentary studies. The results of the study found that there was a significant positive effect of E-commerce on Consumptive Behavior in Economic Education Students of FKIP Untan Pontianak of 7.6% as evidenced by the Sig value of 0.040 <0.05 and in other words rejecting the null hypothesis (Ho) for variable testing , So the conclusion is that there is an effect of E-commerce on consumptive behavior in Economics Education Students FKIP Pontianak Untan amounting to 7.6%, while the remaining 92.4% is influenced by other factors not examined by researchersKeywords: E-commerce, Consumtive Behavior

Abstract

The background of the thesis is the low level of learning participation and student learning outcomes at SDIT Al-Mumtaz. The aims are: to describe the learning outcomes and to describe the increase in student participation in learning science in the material Organs of Movement of Animals and Humans by using a cooperative learning model for students. This thesis is a class action thesis. The subject of this thesis is all participants, totaling 32 students. The data collection method uses observation to observe student activities in science learning Material Organs and Movement of Animals and Humans through observation and pretest, observation to determine the level of student participation, while the pretest is used to obtain data on the ability of learning outcomes in cycles I and II. Data analysis researchers used descriptive statistics by looking for the average value and percentage of learning outcomes and student participation from cycle I and cycle II. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be explained that the average value of student learning outcomes has increased and has reached the competency standards of the KKM set by the school. The teacher's actions in carrying out the stages in learning with the cooperative learning model greatly affect the learning participation of students. At the end of the cycle, all participation indicators experienced a significant increase.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to examine how much the influence of applying STAD type cooperative model on learning outcomes in the thematic learning  of fifth grade  SDN  66 Pontianak Kota. The method used was a Non Equivalent Control Group Design experimental design. The technique of data collecting used was the measurement technique. The tool of data collecting used was a written test in the form of multiple choice. Based on the data analysis, obtained the average results of the experimental class post-test was 73.62 and the average post-test control class was 67.44. Hypothesis test results using t-test (Polled Variance) obtained tcount = 3.224 while (dk = 36 + 37-2 = 71) with a 5% significance level obtained ttable = 1.99, which means tcount >ttable, then Ha is accepted, this proved there are the effect by applying STAD type cooperative model on learning outcomes in the thematic learning of fifth grade. The calcullation results of of Es obtained = 0.52, including as medium criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD type cooperative model in Thematic learning has a moderate effect on student learning outcomes of fifth grade  SDN  66 Pontianak Kota.Keywords: Influence, Learning Outcomes, STAD Type Cooperative Model, Thematic Learning.

Abstract

The research aimed to describe how an EFL teacher used multiple applications namely WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Forms, and Quizizz in online learning during COVID-19 pandemic and what kind of activities the EFL teacher did on each application to enhance her students’ English skills. The subject of this research was an EFL teacher from SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak who had taught online since 2020. A case study design was employed in this research by using semi-structured interview, observation, and document analysis as the method of data collection. The results revealed that, the EFL teacher could teach and deliver courses during the online learning session without the use of video conferencing applications such as Zoom and Google Meet. The EFL teacher used WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Google Forms, and Quizizz for a variety of purposes, including verifying students' attendance and conducting assessments. The activities used to enhance the students’ English skills were reading comprehension tasks on Quizizz, listening comprehension tasks on Google Forms and Quizizz, paragraph or conversation writing activities on Google Classroom, as well as video recording activities on Google Classroom.
