Abstract

Abstract This study to describe the planning, implementation, and students responses to the use of google classroom in thematic learning with scientific approach in elementary schools. This study used qualitative approach with descriptive methods which was conducted at Public Elementary School 20 SKPI SP 5 Nobal. The subjects in this study were the principal, grade VI teachers, and grade VI students. Data collection was carried out using interview sheets, observation sheet, and documentation. Based on the results of research, it shows that grade VI teachers in making thematic lesson plans with a scientific approach using google classroom are in accordance with Permendikbud Annex IV Number 81 A of 2013. The implementation of learning activities have implemented the scientific approach activities. Student responses to thematic learning with a scientific approach using google classroom which is carried out in class VI Elementary School 20 SKPI SP 5 Nobal Sungai Tebelian Sintang are generally good enough. This can be seen from the results of the interview which showed that the average value of 4 indicators proposed was 96.52%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of storytelling methods using serial images on the expressive language skills of children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten. The form of research used is parametric statistics and quantitative approach with one group pretest-posttest design. The source of this research data is children aged 5-6 years, totaling 16 children. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation, documentation, and tests using data collection tools for observation sheets, documentation and test sheets. The data were analyzed using the shapiro wilk normality test and the paired sample test table t test. The results showed that the average value of expressive language ability of children in class B2 before and after treatment was 7.31 to 11.62 this was evidenced from the results of the significance test of 0.000 0.05 and the results of hypothesis testing where t count t table was 14,429 2.1314 then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the serial image media method and the expressive language skills of children aged 5-6 years in The Kindergarten.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the level of correlation between motivation andemotional intelligence with student learning outcomes in thematic learning in classV Elementary School 36 South Pontianak. The method used in this research isdescriptive method with the form of correlation studies. This research is apopulation study with 49 students. Data collection techniques used in this study areindirect communication techniques and documentary study techniques. The toolsused to collect data were questionnaires and document student learning outcomes.The result of the research is that student motivation is 89.41% in the very goodcategory and 85.25% of the emotional intelligence of students is in the goodcategory and student learning outcomes get an average score of 79.28. Based onstatistical analysis using a multiple correlation formula to calculate the correlationbetween motivation and emotional intelligence with student learning outcomes, ther count is 0.081, and r table is 0.281, this means rcount <rtabel or (0.081 <0.281).The conclusion is the correlation between motivation and emotional intelligencewith student learning outcomes in thematic learning in class V Elementary School36 South Pontianak is included in the very low category.Keywords:Emotional Intelligence, Motivation, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The study aims to identify factors that affect disagreeable learners, this method employs the deskritif method. The form of research used in this study is survey study. This research data gathering technique uses direct communication techniques. The data collection tool used was an interview or a face-to-face to an eighth-grade student. Based on the results that influence learners to lie is internal, such as for premature prevention efforts to avoid problems, and from extemporaneous factors are affected by a peer environment. Then fear of being scolded by parents and so forth the efforts made between the homeroom teachers, the subject teacher to change the behavior of future learners.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research is The Role of Teacher in Developing Students critical thinking through Microsoft PowerPoint in Learning Sociology(A descriptive research at Year-11 Students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak). The general problem in this research is how the role of teacher in developingthe critical thinking of the students in analysing, recognizing, and solving problems in learning sociology by using powerpoint as the multimedia. The researcher used qualitative approach in this study. There were seven participants in this research, a sociology teacher and six students at year-11 of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The research finding of this study indicates that teacher can develop students' critical thinking skills by showing them some examples such as pictures through powerpoint as the multimedia in teaching Sociology and making the examples related to the students daily life. The developing of students critical thinking skills is also evidenced by looking at the students skills in analysing, recognizing, and solving problem in learning sociology in classroom. The students were able to understanding the material that given by the teacher properly and they were good in concluding and giving feedbacks about the material. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine preventive social control and the implementation of preventive social control by the Regional Commission for Child Protection and Protection of West Kalimantan Province in Pontianak in dealing with sexual violence against adolescents. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative research form. The data sources of this research are the Commissioner for the Supervision and Protection of Regional Children, youth victims of sexual violence and youth perpetrators of violence. Data collection tools in this study used observation guides, interview guides, and documentation studies. The results of this study are (1). Social control through preventive actions carried out by the Regional Child Protection and Supervision Commission of West Kalimantan Province in the form of advice, guidance, and socialization so that adolescents have good behavior and carry out good social life processes in accordance with the norms and rules prevailing in society. (2). The implementation of preventive social control from the Regional Child Protection and Supervision Commission of West Kalimantan Province in overcoming sexual violence against adolescents is carried out in collaboration with other parties such as schools, universities, Islamic boarding schools and the general public in order to gain insight into adolescents and the community about sexual violence and the steps that must be taken. taken if you become a victim or know when an act of sexual violence has occurred.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to determined the characteristics of learners which has learning difficulties when online learning. This study was conducted using an qualitative research method with descriptive approach. Informants data sources used in this study were three students class X Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Pontianak who were determine by using purposive sampling technique. The resarch method used an intrinsic case study and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation studies. Analysis of data collection using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman which consists of three stages, namely reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results of this research showed that the students characteristics who experience study difficulties during the online learning process include feeling unmotivated in participating in online learning, not focusing on online learning and difficulties in understanding the subject matter. Thus, it was concluded that the characteristics of learners who have difficulty online learning are marked by changes in student learning motivation who become less enthusiastic in the learning process.Keywords: Characteristics, Online Learning Difficulties, Students

Abstract

Pancaragam is a local music that still exists and is developing inPadang City, West Sumatra Province. Pancaragam music is now a means of entertainment at various events in the city of Padang, such as maarak anak daro, babao, and anak banana. Using qualitative methods, this research aims to collect descriptive data consisting of literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The aim of this research is to determine the form and function of pancaragam music in bridal processions in Padang City, West Sumatra Province.The theory used is the theory of form from A.A Djaelantik and the theory of functions from Allan P Merriam. This paper consists of four chapters. Chapter I is an introductory chapter. Chapter II. It is the ethnography of the people of Jati Village, East Padang District, Padang City, West Sumatra. chapter III. In this chapter, the author describes the form and function of pancaragam music in Jati Village. Chapter IV. This chapter contains conclusions and suggestions. The results of this study indicate that pancaragam music already has a structured form and functions as a medium for community entertainment in the wedding procession, besides that pancaragam music is also used as a medium for hospitality in establishing kinship relationships between family, friends, relatives and fellow communities.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the classification of naming, the meaning of naming, and produce a text structure of thematic description of the Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura as a supplement for learning Indonesian Class VII based on the naming basis of the circle of the Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura, Benua Kayong District, Ketapang Regency. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study is the speech of informants who understand the naming of places in the vicinity of the Matan Tanjungpura royal palace, Benua Kayong District, Ketapang Regency. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, interview techniques, note-taking techniques, and recording techniques. Based on all the data that has been analyzed, there are naming bases that can be classified into seven, namely 2 place naming data based on geographical conditions, 6 place naming data based on plants, 2 place naming data based on function, 2 place naming data based on ethnicity, 5 place naming data based on names of people, 5 data for naming places based on stories, and 3 data for naming places based on buildings. The total number of data is 25 data. The meaning of naming consists of 4 types of meaning, namely lexical meaning there are 8 data, grammatical meaning is 9 data, referential meaning is 7 data, and associative meaning is 1 data. This research is related to the 2013 curriculum on Indonesian language subjects in SMP class VII odd semesters which are suggested to be reference material for learning activities at school.Keywords: Basis of naming, Meaning of naming, Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura

Abstract

ABSTRACTAn idiom is an expression which does not follow the grammar of the related language. An idiom is a language expression in the form of words combination (phrases) which the meaning is united and cannot be interpreted by the meaning of the elements that make up it.This study was conducted to preserve Dayak Banjur language, especially its idiom. This study belongs to the linguistic field and focuses on the scope of the type, meaning, and function of idiom in Dayak Banjur language. The method of this study was Dayak Banjur language and folklore which contained the idiom which was told by the informant in Dusun Temedak Merat. Data collecting of this study used uninvolved conversation observation technique, involved conversation observation technique, fishing descriptive method, qualitative research form. The data source of this research was technique, interview, and recording. Based on the results of the study and data analysis can be concluded that there are 45 Dayak Banjur idioms which are gotten from interview and folklore. The types of the idiom divide into groups, they are: 36 full idioms, and 9 partial idioms.Key words: Dayak Banjur language, type, meaning, and the function of idiom.
