Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to reveal the profile, the percentage and to find out the causes of students’ difficulties in solving about rotational dynamics and statistic equilibrium. This Research conducted at MAN 2 Pontianak which subjects are 5 out of 20 students who were given the test. Data collected by giving the HOTS essay questions and interviews. The analysis data technic was Miles and Huberman. The results show that students' difficulties are divided into 5 according to the Heller problem solving stages. (1) The difficulty of visualizing the problems by students was 63.75%. Because they do not know how to draw a sketch on each question. (2) The difficulty of physics description by students was 21.25 %. Because they do not understand the problems given to the questions. (3) The difficulty of making the plan solution was 58,75%. Because they do not understand the concepts used in the questions. (4) The difficulty of executing the plan was 71,25%. Because they do not know the concepts used in the questions and do not understand the arithmetic operations. (5) The difficulty of checking and evaluating was 78,75%. Abstract

AbstractThis research was to investigate the value of tourism potential and geographical factors that support tourism activities on Puteri Serayi beach. This research provides information used as a guideline for policy formulation and management of the Puteri Serayi beach tourism destinations. The design was descriptive research with quantitative methods which was conducted in Bukit Raya, Jawai Laut. research data were derived from observations, interviews, and documentation. Techniques for data analysis used were scoring and descriptive analysis. The tourism potential values were classified into three categories : high, moderate, and low. For the potential value of natural tourism objects, the value classification is appropriate, conditionally appropriate, and inappropriate. The finding showed that the potential value of natural tourism objects score 96% (appropriate), artificial tourist attractions, accessibility, amenities respectively moderate 120, 175, and 430. The scoring indicates that the influence of geographical factors in tourism activities, specifically natural and human factors, is unbalanced, with human aspect still having shortcomings. This is emphasized by the development and management of attractions, accessibility, and amenities in RT 01 and 02, which is insufficient to support the development of the Puteri Serayi beach tourism destination. Keywords: Tourist Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, Geographical Factor

Abstract

This research aims to develop a picture card engklek game media to train simple sentence composition in children aged 5- 6 years so that they can determine the level of attractiveness and suitability of use, as well as find out students' responses after using this picture card engklek game media. The research method adopts the development model developed by Borg and Gall. The research uses the following eight steps: (1) potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) media design creation, (4) media validation, (5) product revision, (6) product trial, (7) revision product, (8) final product. The data collection tools used are: material expert questionnaire and media expert questionnaire to determine the suitability of the product, student response questionnaires are used to determine the attractiveness of the product. The target of research and development of this media is ages 5-6 years. The results of the research that has been developed have obtained a design in the form of a picture card engklek game media for composing simple sentences for children aged 5-6 years, obtaining a feasibility percentage of 81.4% by media experts. The feasibility percentage from material experts is 92% and limited trials have been carried out with a percentage of 86.7%. Based on the results of the description above, the product developed by the researcher is suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to calculate the percentage of students’ misconceptions reduction based on the level of knowledge and the effectiveness of remediation using clinical interviews in the Madurese language about Archimedes’ law in teaching Physics at MTs Arrahman Sungai Raya. This research method was Case Study. The participants in this study were 9 students who were divided into three groups of students knowledge levels, high, medium, and low. The “paper pencil test” with three options was used as instrument of this study. Based on data analysis, there were obtained that the average percentage of students’ misconceptions reduction based on high, medium, and low knowledge levels were 87.5%; 64.6%; and 68.8%. The average of reduction in percentage in the number of misconceptions of all students after being remedied was 48.5%. Based on the calculation of effectiveness (∆S) shows that clinical interviews using the Madurese language are effective in remediating misconceptions about Archimedes law for the eighth grade students of MTs Arrahman Sungai Raya with an ∆S as 0.86 (high category: ∆S > 0.7).Keywords: Clinical Interview, Mother Language, Archimedes Law

Abstract

The issue addressed in this research is the condition of rock climbing athletes in the speed discipline world record who have not fully recovered, especially muscle fatigue due to previous intense training sessions. This muscle fatigue condition impacts subsequent training sessions, resulting in athletes being less optimal in executing the program provided by the coach. The objective of this research is to determine the effect of sports massage on the recovery of rock climbing athletes in the speed discipline world record. The population of this study consists of 5 individuals. The sample in this research was selected using total sampling. The research method employed is an experimental method with the One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. The analysis results indicate a significant influence of sports massage in accelerating the recovery of rock climbing athletes. From the t-test, it can be observed that the calculated t-value (7.38) is greater than the tabulated t-value (2.776), with an increase in percentage by 35%. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of sports massage in expediting the recovery of rock climbing athletes.
