Abstract

AbstrakStudents’ attention to learning activity is important because it can affect their learning achievement. Using audio-visual media is one solution and good strategy to increase their attention to the instruction because it can make the learning more varied and enjoyable. This study discusses increasing students' attention towards learning through classical guidance using audio-visual media in class X students of SMAN 4 Pontianak. Specifically, this research presents a discussion regarding how was students' attention to learning activity before using audio-visual media, how planning and implementing classical guidance was conducted, and how improvement was achieved after classical guidance using audiovisual media was implemented. 22 students participated as subjects in this study. The method used in this study was descriptive in the form of guidance and counseling action research. The research data was taken using observation and interviews. The findings showed an increase in student attention in learning by 78.2% with a high category after the selected media was applied. Keywords: Students' Attention,  Audio-Visual Media, Classical Guidance

Abstract

AbstractA This research aims to improve the reader's understanding of the value of character education in the novel entitled Kekal by Jalu Kancana. It is a qualitative research with descriptive method qualitative with descriptive method. The data source of this research is the novel Kekal by Jalu Kancana, in the form of words quotations, phrases and sentences that lead to the object of analysis. The results indicated that the obtained data were amounted to 77 data. The obtained religious values were firm establishment, confidence, cooperation between religious leaders and beliefs, friendship, sincerity, loving the environment and protecting the small and sidelined. The obtained nationalism values were being competent and excellent, maintaining the environment, obeying the law, and being disciplined. The obtained self-reliance values were work ethic, tough and resilient, fighting power, creative, courage and being a learner throughout life. The obtained communal work values were respect, cooperation, inclusiveness, commitment to mutual decisions, consensus deliberation, favors, solidarity, empathy, non-violence, and volunteerism. The obtained integrity values were honesty, love for truth, loyalty, anti-corruption, responsibility, honesty, and respect for the dignity of individuals. The implementation plan of learning from the research result was combined with Indonesian language learning in grade of XII high school/level in curriculum 2013 with KD 3.9 analyzing novel texts both oral and written and KD 4.9 producing novel texts that were coherent in accordance with the characteristics of the text both spoken and written.Keywords: Character education, The Novel Kekal, Value

Abstract

This research is to find out the Satisfaction of GoFood Services by Gojek to Economic Education Students of FKIP Tanjungpura University using a case study qualitative approach. The data sources obtained in this study consisted of 10 people with 3 groups, namely, 6 students, 2 Gojek drivers and 2 Gojek partners. The methods used in data collection are interviews and documentation. The results of research on Economics Education students show that satisfaction with Gojek services, the type of GoFood service in terms of reliability is that they often buy and use service products that are accurate and according to their needs, in terms of responsiveness there is a form of satisfaction that is in the form of a perceived fast response in the form of replies when gojek has direct contact questions via telephone or chat forums, in terms of empathy (empathy) there is a form of satisfaction in the form of caring, giving more personal attention to customers, in terms of physical evidence (tangible) there is satisfaction in the form of an assessment of physical appearance, equipment used, cleanliness and tidiness of communication media.

Abstract

AbstractReading comprehension ability is an ability that is mastered through the sense of vision to read letters and understand the contents of text. Because student’s attitudes toward reading are still passive, students during reading lessons are not focused make their reading comprehension ability is lacking. Therefore, author motivated to conduct research using learning model SQ4R to improve students reading comprehension ability. This research uses experimental research methods, true experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. This research sample were students of generation 2019 mandarin language education study program at FKIP Untan, there were 33 students. The data collection methods were observation, written tests (pretest and posttest), and student’s response questionnaires. This research results were analyzed using SPSS 2.0 program. This research results were average results of the learning process using learning model SQ4R was 74,22%, indicating that the learning process belongs to the good category; T-test pretest and posttest results of experimental group was the value sig 0,000>α (0,05), Ha accepted, showing that there was significant improvement in learning outcomes from pretest and posttest. The questionnaires results showed the average percentage of student responses to the learning model SQ4R was 72,84%, indicating that students reponses was good.Keywords: Improve, Reading Comprehension Ability, Learning Model SQ4R

Abstract

Pembelajaran sains merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang esensial pada satuan Pendidikan. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran sains, terutama pada pembelajaran fisika terdiri dari teori dan praktik dimana keduanya saling bergantung. Pada saat membahas tentang teori pada pembelajaran fisika bisa dilaksanakan di ruang kelas, ataupun di ruangan terbuka, tetapi untuk melaksanakan praktik, diperlukan ruangan khusus yaitu laboraturium untuk mengeksplor teori yang ada. Ketersediaan laboraturium disatuan Pendidikan yang masih sangat minim serta ketersediaan alat dan bahan praktik yang terbatas menjadi suatu hambatan dalam pelaksanaan praktik. Sehingga adanya media pembelajaran yang bisa menjadi laboraturium virtual seperti PhET membantu dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitias penggunaan media pembelajaran PhET dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran fisika. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen kuasi. Subyek penelitian adalah kelas XII IPS2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XII IPS1 sebagai kelas kontrol SMA Negeri 1 Beduai. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian yang telah dilakukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran PhET dengan hasil belajar siswa yang tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan penggunaan media pembelajaran PhET efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this article was to describe correlation between learning independenceand student learning outcomes in thematic learning of grade IV SDN 16 PontianakEast. Method used is a descriptive method with a form of correlation study research.Population in this study is all students of grade IV SDN 16 Pontianak East. Samplingusing purposive sampling technique with a sample number of 30 people of grade IVASDN 16 Pontianak East. Data collection techniques are indirect communicationtechniques and documentary study techniques. Communication techniques are notdirectly used to collect data on the independence of learning results with tools in theform of questionnaires while documentary study techniques are used to collect data onstudents' learning outcomes. Analysis of data conducted with statistical analysisshowed that student learning independence averaged 84,4, student learning outcomesaveraged 87,07, and correlation between student self-reliance and student learningoutcomes of rhitung=0,301 with rtabel=0,361 sign age 5%. Based on the data, it isconcluded that there is no correlation between learning independence and studentlearning results in thematic learning class IV SDN 16 pontianak East.Keywords: Correlation, Learning Independence, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Being a child who memorizes the Koran at Raudlatut Taklim, which does not only focus on tahfidz activities, is not an easy thing. Because with various formal and informal educational activities, children must be able to manage a lot of time to deposit their memorization. And in order to develop potential and equip themselves, Raudlatut Ta'lim has a program of extracurricular activities that aims to support the learning process to run well and to form a more mature child's personality. All extracurricular activities are considered to be able to influence the quality of memorizing juz amma of children at ra Raudlatut Ta'lim. This type of research is quantitative research. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of extracurricular activities on the quality of memorizing juz amma of children at Raudlatut Ta'lim. The population in this study were all Raudlatut Ta'lim children, while the sample in this study consisted of 15 children. More than that, data analysis techniques use product moment, reliability with the "r" hypothesis table. The results of the product moment correlation with the "r" table of 5% and 1% significance were obtained that r_xy = 919 was greater than r_table, both at the significance level of 5% and 1% with a comparison formulation. It can be concluded that there is a positive influence between the effects of extracurricular activities on the quality of memorizing juz amma of children in ra Raudlatut Ta'lim.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the eco-cultural lexicons in the ‘Turun Tanah’ Tradition in the Sambas Malay community at Semperiuk A village. The method used in this study was descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data source was from the informants from the Semperiuk A village who understand the tradition. The collected data was in the form of eco-cultural lexicons related to the classification of eco-cultural lexicons, word meaning, community understanding, wisdom values, and the function. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, observation, and interviews. Based on the results, there are five activities in the ‘Turun Tanah’ tradition. These activities are divided into two groups: tools and materials used, and the food served. From the two groups, there are 39 lexicons, each with 17 lexicons. The meaning of eco-cultural lexicons contains lexical meanings, and the community understanding of eco-cultural lexicons is categorized as still known. The wisdom value in the five activities in ‘Turun Tanah’ traditions is besaprah (eating together), bemasak (cooking), ziarah (pilgrimage), tahlel (dhikr), and ngaji (reciting the Quran). In terms of its function, the lexicons work as a complement to dishes, symbols or images, and tools for cooking purposes. Keywords: Eco-cultural, Sambas Malay, Turun Tanah

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of the Impact of the Existence of the Internet Network on the Village Community of Rasau Jaya Satu". The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, while collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The existence of an Internet Network Transmitter has become a daily necessity both in the fields of education, health and other fields, so that with an Internet network transmitter it can make it easier for the community to communicate, access social media, make it easier to get information, make it easier to complete work both in education and health, and others. The results of the study are: (1) The positive impact of the existence of an internet network transmitter on the people of Rasau Jaya Satu Village, namely, it makes it easier for people to communicate long distances, people's needs will be met, development and increase in the economic results of people who sell online, make it easier for people to get information , then many people open businesses by utilizing the internet network. (2) The negative impact of the existence of internet network transmitters on the people of Rasau Jaya Satu Village, namely, people easily get incorrect information from social media, many children and adolescents are affected by online games, internet addiction makes teenagers become lazy and lack of attention to the surrounding community, and many frauds that often occur in society through social media.

Abstract

AbstractThe research focus states that  the teacher strategy on implementing character of education empowerment based on the classroom, within Public Primary School 9 Sungai Raya Region? The purpose of this research, was to analysed the teacher strategy on implementing character of education empowerment based on the classroom within Public Primary School 9 Sungai Raya Region. The Informans of this research were the school head master, class teacher V/B, and class student of V/B. The research method used is the expost facto descriptive qualitative. The collecting data technic used is document analysis, and interviews. The data analysed used was descriptive qualitative analyses.. Data results showed, that the strategy of empowerment character of education based on the classroom have been conducted as the purposes of learning outcomes. implementation character of education empowerment based on the classroom have been well practices and realize, these fact can be indicated in terms of teacher competencies in integrating the character values through the class room instructional activities.
