Abstract

This study is to examine risk management techniques in broiler chicken production within West Aceh Regency. Broiler production is a rapidly yielding agricultural enterprise, although it is susceptible to production and financial hazards, such as disease outbreaks, fluctuations in feed prices, and mortality rates. Employing a case study methodology, primary data were gathered via field observations, structured interviews, and documentation from one of the largest independent broiler farms in the area. Data were examined with descriptive techniques, income assessment, and quantitative risk metrics including Coefficient of Variation (CV) and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). The analysis demonstrated that the average mortality rate (8,1%) beyond the industry tolerance threshold (3–5%), and the FCR value (2,3) suggested diminished feed efficiency, highlighting operational difficulties. The financial analysis indicated that the business is viable, evidenced by a coefficient of variation of 0,35 and a positive lower-bound income, implying modest risk yet sustained returns. The study highlights the significance of systematic risk management strategies—particularly in illness prevention, feed optimization, and DOC quality control—to guarantee farm resilience and profitability. These findings offer practical insights for smallholder farmers and policymakers aiming to enhance the broiler sector in rural Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the misuse of over-the-counter (OTC) drugs in the community based on national and international research published between 2020 and 2025. A qualitative literature review was conducted by thematically analyzing 15 relevant scientific articles. The findings indicate common misuse patterns, including consumption without medical indication, overdose, long-term use, and neglect of side effects or drug interactions. The contributing factors are multifactorial, such as low medication literacy, misleading advertisements, misconceptions about OTC safety, and inadequate pharmacist supervision. On the other hand, proposed solutions include community-based educational approaches, redesign of pharmacy systems, and the utilization of digital health technologies such as telepharmacy. These findings highlight the urgent need for integration of public education, regulation, and service innovation to reduce the risk of OTC misuse.

Abstract

This qualitative phenomenological study examines the implementation of the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) in eight multi-sector MSMEs in Serang City. Through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis during March-August 2024, it was found that cognitive barriers (misinterpretation of accounting terminology, perceived administrative burden) were the dominant factors hindering the adoption of SAK EMKM. Technical barriers were sector-specific: culinary businesses faced inaccurate recording of daily cash transactions, while photography services businesses experienced difficulties classifying retainer income. This study proposes a "Socio-Cognitive Implementation Barrier" model as an extension of the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework and recommends an "ESSENTIAL ACCOUNT" program based on the real needs of business actors. The findings contribute to the literature on behavioral accounting and the digital transformation of MSMEs in peri-urban areas of developing countries.

Quantitative techniques were used in this study through a survey. All staff members of the Dewantara Health Center UPTD were the population, and 69 people were randomly selected to participate in the survey. Multiple linear regression was used to examine the data received from the structured questionnaire. There was a statistically substantial relationship between job satisfaction and organizational justice, organizational culture, and career growth. Individually, each of these factors also had a significant and beneficial impact. The three independent factors explained 64.6% of the variation in job satisfaction, according to the coefficient of determination (R²). To improve organizational productivity and employee well-being, these results emphasize the importance of implementing a fair, culturally supportive, and future-oriented human resource strategy.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and competence on employee performance at PT. Lengga Hara Medan. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach through multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to 83 respondents out of a total population of 500 employees, who are employees of PT. Lengga Hara Medan. The results of the study indicate that collectively (simultaneously) the independent variables, namely emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and competence, have a significant influence on the dependent variable of employee performance. Partially, the independent variables of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and competence each have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable of employee performance. Thus, the higher the emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and competencies possessed by employees, the higher the performance produced by employees. The results of this study imply that companies must pay attention to the psychological and professional aspects of employees.
