Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of principals 'instructional leadership on the productivity of educators, the influence of discipline on the productivity of educators, and the influence of principals' instructional leadership on the discipline of educators. This research is a quantitative study with a survey method. Data analysis using path analysis. The population and sample in this study were all teaching staff in the Police Language School. Data was obtained by giving questionnaires on instructional leadership, discipline, and productivity to 50 educators in the Police Language School. From the processed data obtained three results of research, namely: there is a positive direct influence between principals 'instructional leadership on the productivity of educators, there is a positive direct influence between discipline on the productivity of educators, and the final results there is a positive direct influence of principals' instructional leadership on teacher discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how schools make a brand image strategy utilizing available facilities and infrastructure to improve competitiveness. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study approach at Raden Umar Said Kudus Vocational School. The informants of this study were principals, teachers, students and school committees in Raden Umar Said Kudus Vocational School. The technique of collecting data is through observation and interviews. Based on the data analysis it was found that Raden Umar Said Kudus Vocational School in improving school competitiveness utilized the facilities and infrastructure owned. The utilization is carried out through sector strategy keys (key sector strategies) to build the brand image of the school in the community. The supporting factors are collaboration between Raden Umar Said Kudus Vocational School, the government, and the private sector, management of facilities and infrastructure, and utilization of facilities and infrastructure by students to create works. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the lack of facilities and infrastructure technicians, the cost of maintaining facilities and infrastructure, and the lack of competency of teaching staff.

Abstract

Purpose of this study is to examine the intensity of internet media usage and learning motivation towards improving student learning outcomes and strengthen theories related to learning motivation, intensity of internet media usage to improve student learning outcomes. This study was conducted at SMK 57 Jakarta using a quantitative approach with survey method. The target population is students of 57 Jakarta Vocational School majoring in Catering, while the affordable population is students of class X (ten) SMK Negeri 57 Jakarta 2017-2018 academic year totaling 139 people and 103 students as research samples using Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques used in this research is with descriptive and inferential statistics which are Regression Linearity Tests. Based on the results of the analysis above it can be concluded that there is no significant influence between the intensity of Internet Media Usage on Basic Food Subject Learning Outcomes. Based on the results of the above analysis it can be concluded that there is no significant effect between Student learning Motivation on Basic Food Subject Learning Outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis above it can be concluded that there is no significant effect between the intensity of Internet Media Usage and Learning Motivation simultaneously on Basic Food Subject Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and teamwork on teacher job satisfaction. To achieve this goal, this study uses a quantitative approach and data collection techniques using questionnaires. The survey was conducted from October 2018 to January 2019 involving 459 people from the SD Negeri Kecamatan Pasar Minggu South Jakarta. The sample in this study was randomly determined using the Slovin formula with 214 instrument trials. The findings from the results of this study indicate: first, the influence of direct leadership is positive and significant to the job satisfaction of the teachers with a path coefficient of 0.225. Second, there is a direct positive effect of teamwork on job satisfaction with path coefficients0,244. Third, there is a direct positive influence of leadership on teamwork with path coefficients 0.212 Based on the results of this study, teacher job satisfaction can be increased by the high atmosphere of leadership that is able to turn on the school atmosphere and influence followers. Team collaboration is used to increase job satisfaction, namely coordination, interpersonal activity, responsibility, support between individuals and collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to contribute to the development of education management and enrich conceptual studies related to create quality education through increase for teacher loyalty and discover loyalty factor there is empowerment and trust This research is a quantitative research with survey method and uses path analysis. The population in this study were teachers in the state high school in Depok. The data obtained from the questionnaire given to 100 teachers is about impact of loyalty, empowerment and teacher trust with their school. From the data calculated and analyse there are three research result; empowerment of teacher has a positive effect on teacher loyalty, then the trust of teacher has a positive effect on teacher loyalty, and the last is empowering teachers to have a positive effect on teacher's trust.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) produce a learning video for the subject which is appropriate to be applied as learning media for Pascasarjana student teknologi pendidikan, and (2) investigate the approprioateness of the learning video at pascasarjana UNJ in order to be appropriate to be applied as learning media. The development of the learning video pascasarjana UNJ employed the Researcg & Development method by Allesi & Trollip, consisting of three development steps, i.e.: (1) planning: determining needs and objectives, colleting resources, and producing ideas; (2) design: making the flowchart and storyboard and preparing the script; and (3) development: producing the video and audio, programming the materials, preparing the supporting components, evaluating, and revising. The result of the development research was a learning video was assesses by a media expert, a materials expert, and students as users of the media. On the whole, the tryouts showed good results in the appropriate category with the following details. (1) from the materials expert the mean score was 5.55, which was in the appropriate category. (2) from the media expert the mean score was 3.5, which was in the appropriate category. (3) from the small-scale tryout involving students the mean score was 3.5, which was in the appropriate category. (4) from the large-scale tryout involving students the mean score was 3.19, which was in the appropriate cetagory. Based on the media appropriateness assessement, it can be conclude thet the learning video is sppropriate to be used as learning media at pascasarjana UNJ.

Abstract

A program planning with certain quality is needed to improve the provincial education district service to the community. This study aims to develop the district education office program in 2019 and guidelines for the provincial education service plan for the following year through strategic planning. This study uses a qualitative approach with SWOT analysis. Data collection is done through group interviews, plenary meetings and observations. Data obtained are grouped into components of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, then analyzed into four strategic formulations, namely: Strengths - Opportunities (SO), Weaknesess - Opportunities (WO), Strengths - Treaths (ST), and Weaknesess - Treaths (WT). The results of the study were organizational positioning on strategic planning (W-T). The conclusion is that program planning arranged by positioning of strategic planning. We hope that the result of this study can be beneficial for the policy maker, stake holder, and other researchers in related field.

Abstract

This research discussed about the role of teachers Civic Education competence toward development of students life skills at SMP Negeri I Pulau Morotai. There are many ways can be applyied to increase the quality of education, one of them is development of students life skills based on the students field. To enhance Human resourch takes a long time and it must be supported by toughtful thinking, working hard and must be support by adequate facilities and infrastructures. Based on the problems above, aims of this research includes: 1) To know the ability of teachers in guiding the students, 2. To know the role of teacher to increase the students life skill at SMP I Morotai. To collect the data in this research through observation, interview and documentation. Technique to analyze the data by using qualitative descriptive. The result of this research shown that the teachers of Civic education at SMP Negeri I Pulau Morotai did learning prosess based on the criteria. Whereas the teachers prepare lesson plan, delivered the materials sistematically, care the students activity in the classroom, evaluating the materials in the last meeting dan scoring by using oral tes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the understanding of TPACK candidates for FKIP UMT teachers. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey research methods. Instrument to collect data using questionnaires distributed online using google form to students of five study programs at FKIP UMT, namely PGPAUD, PGSD, Indonesian Language, English and Mathematics. Based on the results of the study, this is indicated by the highest level of understanding on 60% and 58.9% practical teaching indicators on subject content and tends to be lower on other indicators. The conclusion of this study is that prospective teachers of FKIP UMT have a tendency to understand the TPACK.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the influence of (1) learning organization, (2) organizational culture, (3) commitment of LPMP Banten Province employees. This research uses an associative quantitative approach with survey methods and correlational techniques. The survey was conducted from August to October 2018, involving 75 LPMP Banten Province employees with ASN status. Determination of the research sample is done by themethod Purposive Sampling. The findings of this research indicate first, a meaningful positive relationship between Learning Organizations and employee commitment. This means that the higher the Learning Organization, the higher the employee commitment. In other words, high employee commitment can be created by improving Learning Organization a better. Second, there is a significant positive relationship between organizational culture and employee commitment. This means that high employee commitment can be created by improving building a good organizational culture. Third, there is a significant positive relationship between learning organizationsorganizational andculture together with employee commitment. This means that the higher the learning organizationorganizational andculture, the higher the employee commitment.
