Abstract

Humans are God's most perfect creatures compared to other creatures, because humans are given reason to think. However, not all humans have this level of intelligence or sensitivity in logical, critical, creative or innovative thinking. This is based on the development of human thought patterns that are not simultaneous. Human thought patterns are influenced by the surrounding circumstances and of course influenced by the human will itself. If you look back, in the Babylonian era, ancient humans (approximately 650 BC) only had the mindset of maintaining their survival by moving around (nomadic). This is because at that time human were still based on customs and still believed in myths. This is different from today where humans have developed more in terms of thought patterns. Human today tend to have a higher level of curiosity, especially with the current advances in science and technology. . Science and technology develop together with science, so that the two have a continuous relationship. So human thought patterns are greatly influenced by knowledge which is becoming increasingly widespread along with advances in science and technology

Abstract

The Concept of Fulfilling Life's Needs According to al Ghazali. This research was motivated by the author's anxiety about Islamic graduates in researching Islamic studies. The author sees a kind of loss of identity in Islamic scholarship due to the lack of studies and searches for previous Islamic scholarship. Western concepts are widely used to solve problems that arise in society, so the author chose this comparative study. The focus of the study is related to the issue of the necessities of life which are very crucial for human survival, so this comparative research aims to reveal the concept of fulfilling the necessities of life according to al Ghazali. The main approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This study cannot be separated from human and religious values, so the author also uses a phenomenological approach to acknowledge the existence of ethical and transcendental truths and accept certain subjectivities as truth, and cannot be separated from the psychological approach. The results of the research can be found that al Ghazali's concept of the necessities of life in his language starts from Hifz al Din, Hifz al Nafs, Hifz al Mal, Hifz al Aql to Hifz al Nasb, so that the concept looks spiritualistic-materialistic.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, society's needs are increasing day by day. Because of this, many people from the upper middle class invest their wealth in the hope of making a profit to meet their needs. Forex is included in the futures exchange which is a derivative investment from the type of stock investment. The forex market is a market that sells one country's currency against another country's currency. Forex transaction activities are also included in the commodity futures market which is a futures trading contract and is supervised by Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (BAPPEBTI). Brokers act as intermediaries who bring together sellers and buyers of certain currencies. Brokers have direct access to dealers and banks that carry out forex trading throughout the world in order to carry out their duties properly. Futures brokers are regulated in Law Number 32 of 1997 concerning Commodity Futures Trading, especially in Article 31 paragraph (1) and Government Regulation Number 9 of 1999 concerning the Implementation of Commodity Futures Trading Article 37. Currently, some people's confidence in investing is still low because the large number of people interested in investing has become a place for irresponsible people to commit fraud by posing as forex brokers. In forex margin trading transactions by broker companies, the implementation of legal protection has not been able to fully accommodate the interests of investors. Law Number 32 of 1997 only regulates the resolution of disputes and does not mention further about the forms of legal protection efforts that must be taken by Futures Brokers

Abstract

This research investigates the decline in visitation at Medan City's Maimun Palace by emphasizing the influence of declining service quality, particularly regarding noise and the lack of separation between the merchant area and historical relics. Involving qualitative and descriptive research methods, analysis of the findings highlighted the need for improved layout, implementation of strict regulations on merchants, and enhancement of tourist services as integral solutions. The results show that these improvements are expected to create a clearer flow of visits, maintain the quality of the destination, and provide a more satisfying visitor experience. The conclusions emphasize the urgency of integrated measures to support sustainability and restore visitor interest, while recognizing that the focus on service aspects is a limitation. These measures provide a basis for further efforts to develop and improve the management of this historic tourist destination.

Abstract

The rise in disciplinary issues among school students has become a cause for concern with challenges in managing and curbing negative activities. Employing counselling interventions, particularly the 'Brief Therapy' approach has proven effective in addressing student misbehaviour. This study proposes the development of a counselling intervention module to specifically tackle promiscuous behaviour among high school students. The module integrates Motivational Interviewing, based on the Trans theoretical Model and Stages of Change. Additionally, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy complements Motivational Interviewing to expedite the treatment process. The module construction follows a two-level, nine-step framework. The study aims to deepen understanding of behaviour change processes, ultimately reducing disruptive behaviour. Special attention and mastery of this new approach by counsellors and practitioners are crucial. Moreover, aligning with the Malaysian Education Development Plan 2013-2025 (PPPM), the study contributes to strategic planning in schools, emphasizing the development of students' potential.

Abstract

This material discusses the understanding that public speaking in the Islamic context has a rich historical heritage, practiced by the prophets, especially the Prophet Muhammad. As the art of public speaking, public speaking is not only about conveying information but also building connections, inspiring, and bringing about change. The focus of this research is the opening structure as a key element in Islamic public speaking, with an emphasis on topic selection, effective introduction, and public speaking competence. Through content analysis and literature references, this research reveals that public speaking plays an important role in Islamic da'wah, where choosing the target of da'wah becomes an important strategy. Public speaking competence, such as choosing useful topics and interesting introductions, has proven to be a key element in the effectiveness of da'wah. This research provides practical and in-depth solutions, highlighting changes that can be made, such as catchy titles and the use of more descriptive language, to increase the positive influence in spreading Islamic teachings. Mastery of public speaking competence in and understanding of good opening structures has the potential to increase the effectiveness of Islamic da'wah, providing communication between the speaker and the audience.
