Abstract

A smart environment is a necessity in many modern cities when information technology becomes the choice of communication and interaction. The purpose of this research is to formulate a proposed strategy that is measurable and easy to operate in implementing a smart environment in cities in developing countries. We use a competitive intelligence approach to build a smart environment strategy. The results of this study, we formulate a smart environment strategy in cities whose countries are developing based on the smart city model in one of its dimensions, namely the smart environment dimension. We formulate Strategic Alignment by making a mapping based on the mission and goals of city leaders to the dimensions of the smart environment. We also conducted a gap analysis using SWOT analysis and developed a smart city implementation strategy with 4 categories, namely strategic, key operational, high potential, and support

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to create an archive management information system. Most of the study programs within the University have not used a web-based archive management information system, even though this is a supporting factor in college and university accreditation. The research method used is the prototype development method. In this method there are 4 (four) stages, namely: (1) Communication, (2) Quick Plan and Modeling Quick Design, (3) Construction Of Prototype, (4) Deployment Delivery & Feedback. At the Deployment Delivery & Feedback stage, the researcher uses a testing method with a black-box testing approach. In this black box testing phase, there are three testing processes, namely (1) Incorrect functions, both input and output, (2) Interface errors, (3) Errors in data structure or database access. From the research conducted to obtain good results and from these results the researchers concluded that the web-based archive management information system is in accordance with the research objectives and is suitable for use in the data archiving process

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between student participation in the activities of the Department Student Association (MHJ) and Student Learning Achievement. The object of research was students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Education with a total sample of 65 students. The statistics used are non-parametric statistics with analysis using Chi Squared. The results of the analysis showed that there was no relationship between student participation in HMJ activities and the learning achievements achieved by students with the proven calculation results which showed that the chi squared count was smaller than the chi squared table (χ2calculate = 0.764 < χ2table = 9.94). The conclusion is that students can participate in all HMJ activities while running lectures to get good or excellent learning achievements. Abstract

The development of computer network technology is currently increasing rapidly along with the community's need for services that utilize computer networks. A computer network is a relationship between 2 or more computers connected by wired or wireless transmission media. This study aims to As for the purpose of this research is to analyze and design a computer network at SMK Negeri 1 Tabuk Utara. The research model uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) with six stages, namely analysis, design, simulation prototype, implementation, monitoring and management. However, only the first to third stages were carried out. After being developed through several stages, the results of this study show that by analyzing and designing network designs using Cisco packet tracer, SMK Negeri 1 Tabuk Utara already has 2 design models to be used directly in this design accompanied by material estimation and work on the computer network.
