Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of reward and punishment on teacher work discipline at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Falah Cibinong, Bogor. A quantitative approach with a correlational survey method was used to examine the relationship between variables, involving 33 active teachers as respondents. Data were collected through closed-ended Likert-scale questionnaires and structured interviews. Analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression tests, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that both reward and punishment have a positive and significant effect on teacher discipline, both partially and simultaneously. The significance values of reward (0.017) and punishment (0.000) indicate that both are statistically significant, with punishment being the dominant factor (β = 0.815). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.166, indicating that the two variables explain 16.6% of the variance in teacher discipline. Qualitative data reinforced the findings, showing that punishment has a more immediate and powerful impact, while rewards help maintain motivation. The study concludes that a balanced, fair, and consistent implementation of reward and punishment systems is essential in fostering disciplined and professional teacher behavior. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh reward dan punishment terhadap kedisiplinan kinerja guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Falah Cibinong Bogor. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei korelasional digunakan untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel, dengan 33 guru sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup skala Likert serta wawancara terstruktur. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda, uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa reward dan punishment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Nilai signifikansi reward sebesar 0,017 dan punishment sebesar 0,000 menunjukkan keduanya signifikan, dengan punishment sebagai faktor dominan (β = 0,815). Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,166 mengindikasikan bahwa variabel reward dan punishment menjelaskan 16,6% variasi dalam kedisiplinan guru. Data kualitatif mendukung temuan bahwa punishment memberikan dampak langsung dan kuat terhadap kedisiplinan, sementara reward berfungsi mempertahankan motivasi. Simpulan penelitian menekankan pentingnya manajemen sistem reward dan punishment yang adil dan konsisten untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja guru yang disiplin dan profesional.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual learning media on students’ learning interest in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject among grade X students at MAN 2 Bogor Regency. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with associative research type. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and documentation, with a sample size determined by the Slovin formula. The results showed that the t-count value (11.960) was greater than the t-table value (1.993), which indicates that the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. This proves that the use of audio-visual media significantly influences students’ interest in learning. The integration of visual and auditory stimuli can enhance attention, motivation, and engagement in classroom learning. Therefore, audio-visual media is a recommended instructional tool for teachers to foster active learning and improve students' academic enthusiasm, especially in history-based subjects. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) kelas X di MAN 2 Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi, dengan jumlah sampel ditentukan melalui rumus Slovin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar 11,960 lebih besar dari t tabel sebesar 1,993, sehingga hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Hₐ) diterima. Artinya, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap minat belajar siswa. Media ini efektif meningkatkan perhatian, motivasi, dan partisipasi siswa karena menggabungkan unsur visual dan auditori secara simultan. Dengan demikian, media audio visual sangat direkomendasikan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan semangat belajar siswa, terutama pada mata pelajaran yang bersifat naratif dan historis seperti SKI.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of learning Aqidah Akhlak on the rasa karsa (emotional and volitional aspects) of students at MAN 1 Bogor Regency. The background of this research is rooted in the importance of Aqidah Akhlak learning in shaping students' faith and noble character, as reflected in their rasa karsa—which encompasses inner sensitivity and the will to act according to Islamic values. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method with questionnaires distributed to 100 students as the sample. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, simple regression analysis, and t-tests. The results showed that both the learning of Aqidah Akhlak and the students’ rasa karsa levels were in the "good" category. Furthermore, the regression analysis revealed that learning Aqidah Akhlak has a positive and significant influence on students’ rasa karsa. This indicates that the better the Aqidah Akhlak learning process, the higher the development of rasa karsa in students. The study recommends that Aqidah Akhlak teachers continue to enhance meaningful and contextual teaching strategies to holistically cultivate students’ character. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Belajar Aqidah Akhlak terhadap rasa karsa peserta didik di MAN 1 Kabupaten Bogor. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya Belajar Aqidah Akhlak dalam membentuk nilai keimanan dan perilaku terpuji peserta didik, yang tercermin dalam rasa karsa yakni kepekaan batin dan dorongan kehendak untuk berperilaku sesuai ajaran Islam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui penyebaran angket kepada 100 peserta didik sebagai sampel. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji validitas, reliabilitas, regresi sederhana, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Belajar Aqidah Akhlak berada dalam kategori baik, demikian pula dengan tingkat rasa karsa peserta didik. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa belajar Aqidah Akhlak memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap rasa karsa peserta didik di MAN 1 Kabupaten Bogor. Dengan demikian, semakin baik proses Belajar Aqidah Akhlak, maka semakin tinggi pula rasa karsa yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru Aqidah Akhlak terus mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang bermakna dan kontekstual guna membentuk karakter mulia siswa secara utuh.

Abstract

This study attempts to examine the extent to which the Quizizz platform can arouse students' interest in learning Arabic at MTs Al Masykur. The low interest of students in learning Arabic is the main background of this study. Using a pre-experimental approach and a one-group pretest-posttest design, this study involved 22 ninth-grade students. The instrument used was a learning interest questionnaire whose validity and reliability were tested. Data were analyzed using normality tests and paired sample t-tests with the help of SPSS version 23. The results showed a significant increase in learning interest after using Quizizz. Therefore, Quizizz can be used as an alternative effective and interactive learning media in teaching Arabic in madrasah environments. Abstrak Studi ini mencoba menelaah sejauh mana platform Quizizz dapat membangkitkan minat siswa terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di MTs Al Masykur. Rendahnya minat belajar siswa terhadap pelajaran Bahasa Arab menjadi latar belakang utama studi ini . Dengan menggunakan pendekatan pre-eksperimental dan desain one-group pretest-posttest, studi ini melibatkan 22 siswa kelas IX. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket minat belajar yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji t (paired sample t-test) dengan bantuan SPSS versi 23. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam minat belajar setelah penggunaan Quizizz. Oleh karena itu, Quizizz dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif dan interaktif dalam pengajaran Bahasa Arab di lingkungan madrasah.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject at MAN 1 Kota Bogor, particularly on the topics of qurban and aqiqah, remain low due to the use of conventional teaching methods. This study aims to: (1) develop interactive animation media based on Canva for the Qurban and Aqiqah topics, (2) determine the feasibility of the developed media based on expert validation and limited testing, and (3) measure the effectiveness of the media in improving the learning outcomes of Grade X students. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Validation results indicate the categories “highly valid” and “valid,” with expert scores of 83% and 68% for the media, 97% and 95% for the subject matter, and 80% and 95% for the language. Individual, small group, and large group trials each obtained feasibility scores of 91%, 91%, and 90%. The Mann-Whitney test results showed an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.000 (< 0.05), with the mean rank of the experimental class (46.68) higher than that of the control class (26.32). This proves that animated media is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Abstrak Hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Fikih di MAN 1 Kota Bogor, khususnya materi qurban dan aqiqah, masih tergolong rendah akibat penggunaan metode konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan media animasi interaktif berbasis Canva pada materi qurban dan aqiqah, (2) mengetahui kelayakan media yang dikembangkan berdasarkan validasi ahli dan uji coba terbatas, serta (3) mengukur efektivitas media dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Hasil validasi menunjukkan kategori "sangat valid" dan "valid", dengan skor ahli media 83% dan 68%, ahli materi 97% dan 95%, serta ahli bahasa 80% dan 95%. Uji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan besar masing-masing memperoleh skor kelayakan 91%, 91%, dan 90%. Hasil uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan nilai Asymp. Sig. sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05) dengan mean rank kelas eksperimen 46,68 lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol 26,32. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa media animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Learning motivation is one of the important aspects in achieving educational goals, especially in religious learning such as tahsin Al-Qur'an at Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to analyze the influence of the mu’allam method on learning motivation for Qur’an recitation at the Al-Furqon II As-Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School in Bogor. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a survey type. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 50 students with 20 items. Data analysis was conducted using normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression, and significance tests using SPSS 27 for Windows. The results of the study indicate that the mu'allam method does not have a significant influence on the discipline of congregational prayer, with a regression coefficient value of 0.048. The significance test (t) showed a t-value of 0.426 with a significance level of 0.672 > 0.05, indicating no significant relationship between the Mu'allam method and motivation for learning Qur'anic recitation. Additionally, the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) test show that the mu'allam method contributes 0.4% to motivation for learning Qur'anic recitation, while 99.6% is influenced by other factors not studied. Thus, the mu'allam method has not shown a significant contribution to increasing motivation for learning Qur'an recitation at the Al-Furqon II As-Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School in Bogor. Abstrak Motivasi belajar merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pencapaian tujuan pendidikan, terutama dalam pembelajaran keagamaan seperti tahsin Al-Qur’an Pondok Pesantren. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode mu’allam terhadap motivasi belajar tahsin Al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon II As-Salafiyah Bogor. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 50 santri dengan jumlah pernyataan sebanyak 20 item. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, linearitas, regresi linear sederhana, serta uji signifikansi menggunakan SPSS 27 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode mu’allam tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan shalat berjamaah dengan nilai koefisien regresi sebesar 0,048. Uji signifikansi (t) menunjukkan nilai t-hitung sebesar 0,426 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,672 > 0,05, yang berarti tidak terdapat hubungan yang siginifikan antara metode mu’allam dan motivasi belajar tahsin Al-Qur’an. Selain itu, hasil uji koefisien determinasi (R2) menunjukkan bahwa metode mu’allam berkontribusi sebesar 0,4% terhadap motivasi belajar tahsin Al-Qur’an, sementara 99,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti. Dengan demikian, metode mu’allam belum menunjukkan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar tahsin Al-Qur’an di Pondok Pesantren Al-Furqon II As-Salafiyah Bogor.

Abstract

The ability to read the Qur'an among students at MTs Ulin Nuha Al-Islamic Center Bogor remains relatively low, particularly in terms of fluency, accurate pronunciation (makhraj), and the application of tajwid rules. This study aims to improve the Qur'an reading skills of Grade VIII students through the implementation of the sorogan method. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects consisted of 16 eighth-grade students. Instruments used in the research included observation sheets, interviews, and Qur'an reading tests. The results show a significant improvement in students’ reading ability following the implementation of the sorogan method. In the pre-cycle stage, only 12.5% of students reached the minimum competence criteria (MCC) in Qur'an reading. After implementing the sorogan method, student achievement increased to 50% in the first cycle and reached 87.5% in the second cycle. The average score also rose from 53.5 to 89. These findings indicate that the sorogan method is effective in improving students' ability to read the Qur’an through individualized, intensive, and targeted instruction. Abstrak Kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa MTs Ulin Nuha Al-Islamic Center Bogor masih tergolong rendah, terutama dalam aspek kefasihan, ketepatan makhraj, dan penerapan hukum tajwid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan baca Al-Qur’an siswa kelas VIII melalui penerapan metode sorogan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 16 siswa kelas VIII. Instrumen yang digunakan mencakup lembar observasi, wawancara, dan tes membaca Al-Qur’an. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca siswa setelah penerapan metode sorogan. Pada tahap pra-siklus hanya 12,5% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an, setelah penerapan metode sorogan ketuntasan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an siswa meningkat menjadi 50% pada siklus I dan mencapai 87,5% pada siklus II. Rata-rata nilai siswa juga meningkat dari 53,5 ke 89. Simpulan dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa metode sorogan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an secara individual, intensif, dan terarah.

Abstract

This article explores the significance of epistemology and ontology as philosophical foundations in formulating a holistic and contextually relevant Islamic learning methodology. The study employs a qualitative approach using library research, drawing from classical and contemporary literature, Qur’anic verses, and Prophetic traditions. The findings reveal that Islamic epistemology emphasizes the integration of reason (‘aql) and revelation (al-waḥy) as primary sources of knowledge, while Islamic ontology highlights the dual role of human beings as servant (‘abd Allāh) and vicegerent (khalīfat Allāh fī al-arḍ). The integration of these two frameworks produces an Islamic learning approach that is not only cognitive but also affective, spiritual, and practical. These findings have practical implications for developing modern Islamic learning strategies, particularly in the utilization of digital media and curricula grounded in Islamic values. Abstrak Artikel ini membahas pentingnya epistemologi dan ontologi sebagai fondasi filosofis dalam merumuskan metodologi pembelajaran Islam yang utuh dan relevan dengan konteks zaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) yang bersumber dari literatur klasik dan kontemporer, ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, serta hadis Nabi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa epistemologi Islam menegaskan integrasi antara akal (‘aql) dan wahyu (al-waḥy) sebagai sumber pengetahuan, sementara ontologi Islam menekankan fungsi manusia sebagai hamba (‘abd Allāh) dan khalifah (khalīfat Allāh fī al-arḍ). Integrasi keduanya menghasilkan pendekatan pembelajaran Islam yang tidak hanya bersifat kognitif, tetapi juga afektif, spiritual, dan aplikatif. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi praktis bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran Islam di era modern, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan media digital dan kurikulum yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Islamic learning methodology design through the integration of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) with Islamic Critical Pedagogy. The study employed a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach, analyzing the theories, characteristics, and application of both approaches in the context of Islamic education. The results indicate that PjBL increases student engagement in solving real-world problems, while Islamic Critical Pedagogy fosters critical awareness grounded in spiritual values and etiquette. The integration of the two creates participatory, transformative learning that is relevant to the needs of the 21st century. The case study of "Bumi Amanah Allah" demonstrates the effectiveness of this model in fostering environmental awareness based on Qur'anic values. This research contributes to offering a new methodological framework for the development of contemporary Islamic education. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan desain metodologi pembelajaran Islam melalui integrasi Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dengan Critical Pedagogy Islami. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, menganalisis teori, karakteristik, serta penerapan kedua pendekatan dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Studi kasus “Bumi Amanah Allah” membuktikan efektivitas model ini dalam menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan berbasis nilai Qur’ani. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam menawarkan kerangka metodologi baru bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam kontemporer.

Abstract

Etiquette education is an important aspect in the moral development of students at Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of teaching the Kitab Akhlaq Lilbanin in shaping the etiquette of 7th grade students at the Daarul Uluum Islamic Boarding School. The scope of the study covers the learning process, strategies, and their impact on the daily behavior of students. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data is analyzed using triangulation to ensure the validity and reliability of the results. The results show that around 60% of students have successfully demonstrated an increase in polite and civilized behavior, in accordance with the values taught. The application of methods including lectures, question and answer sessions, and exemplary examples from ustadz proved to be effective in shaping the character and manners of santri in a sustainable manner. In conclusion, the teaching of kitab Akhlaq Lilbanin is an important instrument in the moral development and good behavior of santri, supported by a consistent and disciplined approach. Abstrak Pendidikan tata krama merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan moral siswa di sekolah asrama Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pengajaran Kitab Akhlaq Lilbanin dalam membentuk etika siswa kelas 7 di pondok pesantren Daarul Uluum. Ruang lingkup penelitian mencakup proses pembelajaran, strategi, dan dampaknya terhadap perilaku sehari-hari siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas hasil. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 60% siswa berhasil menunjukkan peningkatan perilaku sopan dan beradab, sesuai dengan nilai-nilai yang diajarkan. Penerapan metode termasuk ceramah, sesi tanya jawab, dan contoh teladan dari ustadz terbukti efektif dalam membentuk karakter dan sopan santun santri secara berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, pengajaran kitab Akhlaq Lilbanin merupakan alat penting dalam pengembangan moral dan perilaku baik santri, didukung oleh pendekatan yang konsisten dan disiplin.
