Abstract

In Indonesia, there has been a lot of news reporting criminal acts carried out by teenagers, one of which is currently popular or becoming a trend is online gambling or slots. Online gambling has also been categorized as a cyber crime or criminal act via internet technology. Apart from online gambling, one of the trends that is currently widespread is pinjol (online loan) services. These two phenomena, which are currently a national problem, have raised concerns from the Government and all levels of society in Pulosari District, Pandeglang Regency, so serious efforts are needed from all parties, both the government, the community and parents. This service activity aims to provide education to the community in the form of legal counseling to increase the community's legal understanding and awareness about the negative impacts of online gambling and online loans in Pulosari District, Pandeglang Regency. The implementation method starts from literature review, field observations and legal counseling. The results of this activity increased knowledge, understanding and awareness of the people of Pulosari District about the negative impacts of online gambling and online loans.

Abstract

Training on Research Grant Proposal Writing and PKM at FKIP UNTAN aims to improve the ability of lecturers to design superior and quality research proposals. This activity was carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, evaluation and reporting. The implementation stage consists of two methods, namely lecture methods, interactive discussions and case studies of examples of proposals that pass funding. The discussion revealed strategies for writing competitive proposals, obstacles in data collection and proposal preparation. The active involvement of the participants showed high enthusiasm, with more than half of the participants planning to apply for Bima Grants next year, supported by the materials from this training. The event not only provided in-depth insights into quality proposal writing, but also emphasized the importance of concrete steps to achieve research goals and contributions to society. The training has helped improve participants' understanding and readiness to develop more competitive grant proposals.

Abstract

Students face various challenges related to international trade skills. These include a lack of practical understanding, cultural differences and communication skills, knowledge of export regulations and policies, adaptation to new technologies, negotiation skills, and foreign language proficiency. The Studi Independen is one of the Merdeka Belajar programs by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This project encourages students to collaborate with industries, ensuring that the curriculum learned by student is relevant to workforce needs. The community service activity in the form of the "Be A Digital Exporter" mentoring process is one of the Studi Independen activities that helps students improve their non-academic skills, such as communication, leadership, foreign languages, and teamwork. This community service activity was conducted over two months, from May to June 2024, using three methods, mentoring, consultation and evaluation, and reporting. The results of this mentoring activity showed an increase in understanding, as measured by initial and final assesment, covering eight competencies offered to students in the Studi Independen.

Abstract

Innovation in the use of technology media by MGMP teachers of vocational subjects in learning is still relatively low due to teachers' lack of training and experience to innovate in teaching. So, there needs to be a community service activity that aims to improve teacher competence through digitalization of learning by emphasizing the use of technology and digital learning platforms. In August, this activity was carried out at campus II of the Muhammadiyah University of Muara Bungo. The implementation of this community service activity uses the service learning method, which is divided into three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the community service to improve teacher professional competence through the digitalization of learning have been carried out by providing training in Canva media and e-learning media using Moodle. The training provided can improve teachers' understanding and skills in operating Canva and Moodle. Evaluation of the training shows that there are benefits obtained by teachers that can be applied in schools and can improve teacher professionalism in terms of mastery of technology and information.

Abstract

The 33 tons of cassava harvested in Rumpin Bogor needs to be distributed properly. Rumpin Bogor Farmers Group only sells its agricultural products to middlemen at low prices and only estimates in determining the selling price of cassava. The purpose of this community service program is to increase knowledge of Rumpin Bogor Farmers Group regarding the selection of the right product distribution and considerations in determining the price of cassava. This community service and empowerment program begins with the planning phase by arranging a schedule, preparing the materials, and constructing exercises for participants. Continued with the implementation phase and closed with the evaluation phase to assess the achievement of the program. The results obtained from this program are increased knowledge and understanding regarding the right product distribution and determining competitive product prices.

Abstract

The abundance of salak during the harvest period (January to March) causes the selling price of salak bali to drop to the lowest price of Rp. 1,000/kg and the unsold products will remain rotting in the garden. Making processed products from salak is one alternative way to increase the use value of salak. Seeing these problems in order to utilize the abundant harvest and help increase farmers' income, it is necessary to carry out community service focused on providing knowledge and skills in the processing of salak. This activity aims to provide training and assistance in processing salak into fermented salak drink (kombucha salak) to salak farmer groups. Community service activities begin with conducting a preliminary survey, which is then continued with training and assistance in making fermented salak beverage products. In the process, information and knowledge transfer was carried out followed by filling out a questionnaire. The results of this community service activity show that most of the participants have a good level of understanding of probiotic drink information, implementation of processing sanitation hygiene, the right way to make fermented salak drink. The results of the program sustainability questionnaire show that partners need further assistance regarding training in making more diverse salak processed products, counseling related to clinical information on nutrition and nutrition, effective product marketing strategies both online and offline.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Great Surabaya Cadres play a role in breaking the chain of Tuberculosis transmission. Putat Jaya Health Center has as many as 1500 Great Surabaya Cadres, and only half of the cadres have received knowledge about Tuberculosis, so that dedication was carried out to Great Surabaya Cadres at the Putat Jaya Community Health Center. The service was carried out for approximately 3 hours on March 23 2024 with a total of 48 Great Surabaya Cadres participating. The method of this service is education, providing explanations about Tuberculosis accompanied by discussions. There was a significant increase in knowledge before and after education. Abstract

Good digital literacy skills are essential in the digital era. One crucial element of digital literacy is digital culture. Digital culture needs to be instilled from en early age to prevent the negative impacts of digital transformation. This activity aimed to enhance digital literacy, particularly digital culture, among students at SMP PGRI 1 Ciputat. The activity involved 40 student representatives who are members of the Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS). The program was in the form of a training session that covered both theoretical and practical applications, including material on digital literacy, social media communication ethics, and data security. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding of the concept of digital culture. Through this activity, students are expected to become more conscious and responsible technology users and participate positively in the digital society.

Abstract

KUBE and BUMDes are the primary sources of income for the village residents; however, they often face challenges in developing their businesses. These challenges include a lack of access to information about technologies that can enhance their business performance. Technology can assist KUBE and BUMDes in strengthening their businesses and improving competitiveness by increasing sales and brand image. This Community Service Program aims to provide solutions for KUBE and BUMDes to overcome these challenges through collaborative utilization of technology. Through this program, training will be conducted in the use of digital technology for Social Media Management (SMM) and Advertising Technology (AdTech). Additionally, this program will optimize collaboration between KUBE, BUMDes, the community, and the village government in product development and marketing. The outcomes of this training and mentoring include increased knowledge of KUBE and BUMDes managers about marketing technology, a 271% increase in impressions and public awareness from the most recent advertising campaign, and a 52% increase in physical visits to Tirta Arum swimming pool and the KUBE canteen compared to similar days before the advertisement was run.

Abstract

The results of the 2018 Riskesdas stated that 93% of young children have dental caries. One of the reasons is provision of food and drinks that cause caries. A mother has a major role in caring of children, such as teach healthy habits because children often imitate the adults. This education can help reduce the risk of dental caries in the family and increase awareness about the important role of food in dental health. This activity was carried out at RPTRA Harapan Mulia, Central Jakarta, with the aim of increasing mothers' knowledge about foods with low caries risk. The methods used include counseling using educational books about foods and drinks that are good for teeth, toothbrushes, and oral dental examinations. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference P <0.05 regarding knowledge before and after being given education. Educational books make it easier for participants to catch information.
