Abstract

Rapid physical growth is not accompanied by mental maturity or psychological development. This is closely related to the age at which a child experiences menarche, which nowadays tends to occur earlier due to various influencing factors. Early menarche before a child reaches mental maturity, coupled with a lack of knowledge, evokes various psychological responses in girls experiencing menarche. Early menarche in girls also increases the risk of breast cancer, the incidence of abortion due to premarital sexual relations, and the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of health education about menarche on the knowledge level of female adolescents at SD 66 in Bengkulu City. This research design uses a Pre-Experimental method with a One Group pre-post test design approach. The sample in this study consisted of 24 patients, using accidental sampling technique and the measurement tool used was a questionnaire sheet. Data analysis was conducted using the Paired t-test with a significance level of α 0.05. The univariate analysis results show that more than half of the respondents (54.2%) had sufficient knowledge before being given health education and more than half of the respondents (54.2%) had good knowledge after receiving health education. Bivariate analysis results indicate that health education on menarche has an effect on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls at SD 66 Bengkulu City with a p value of 0.000 ≤ 0.005. It is hoped that teachers at SD 66 in Bengkulu City can develop activity programs to support the improvement of reproductive health knowledge, particularly menarche, through health education, either by counselling or providing material outside lessons using engaging media such as audiovisual media like animated videos.

Abstract

Jangek cracker products are animal-derived foods, which have a high risk of contamination, so the implementation of GMP is absolutely necessary to ensure product safety and quality. Gap analysis was conducted by comparing practices in business units with the standards of the Indonesian Ministry of Industry Number 75 of 2010, while financial feasibility was measured using cost analysis, income, and Revenue/Cost Ratio (R/C Ratio). The production process of Jangek crackers in the Etek Jas home industry is still traditional and intensive, involving critical stages such as liming and open-air drying for 2–3 days. Significant gaps were found in the packaging stage, which was not equipped with informative labels (brand, composition, production date), as well as the vulnerability of post-process contamination during the drying stage. The overall implementation of GMP was categorized as Good with an average percentage of 84%. The Building Aspect had the highest score (93%). However, there are critical gaps (Major Non-Conformities) in the Sanitation Facilities (81%) and Employees (83%) aspects, which focus on a simple liquid waste disposal system and inconsistent use of complete work attributes (PPE) by employees. This business is stated to be very efficient, profitable, and feasible to be developed. This is evidenced by the R/C Ratio value of 1.29, which indicates that every Rp 1.00 of costs generates Rp 1.29 in revenue. The cost structure is dominated by Variable Costs (99.63% of TC), with cowhide as the largest cost component (79.55% of TVC).

Abstract

Research purposes This study aims to analyze the contribution of the agricultural sector to regional development in Bengkulu Province using the Location Quotient (LQ) and Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) methods. LQ is used to identify agricultural subsectors that serve as basic (leading) sectors, while DLQ examines the growth direction of these subsectors over time. The study uses secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for the period 2020–2024, covering the food crop, horticulture, plantation, and agricultural services subsectors. The findings indicate that most agricultural subsectors in Bengkulu Province—such as food crops, horticulture, and agricultural services—are classified as basic sectors (LQ > 1). However, their growth is not considered prospective because their DLQ values are below 1. This means that although these subsectors contribute significantly at the local level, their growth is slower compared to the national level. Meanwhile, the plantation subsector is categorized as non-basic and non-prospective, as it makes a small contribution and also shows slow growth. The researchers recommend strengthening the agricultural sector through subsector-specific approaches. For basic subsectors, interventions such as equipment modernization, technology adoption, farmer institutional strengthening, and market digitalization are needed. For non-basic subsectors such as plantations, revitalization efforts, partnerships with processing industries, and product diversification are recommended. The study emphasizes the importance of transforming the agricultural sector from relying on comparative advantages to developing competitive advantages in order to promote inclusive and sustainable regional development.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of cosplay events on the image of the Becosplay Anime Community among visitors of Bencoolen Indah Mall, Bengkulu. Cosplay is not only viewed as a hobby but also as a form of creativity, self-expression, and a medium for promoting Japanese popular culture. This research uses a quantitative method with a survey distributed to 96 respondents selected through accidental and purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The analysis employed validity and reliability tests, simple linear regression, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²) using SPSS 26. The results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant influence of cosplay events on community image. The Stimulus dimension in the event variable scored the highest, while the Response dimension scored the lowest. In the community image variable, Credibility emerged as the most dominant dimension, while Emotional scored the lowest. These findings suggest that visitors' perceptions are strongly shaped by event stimuli and community credibility, though improvements are needed in participant response and emotional engagement with the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of reward on employee performance at PT. Agri Andalas Bengkulu Tengah. Reward is understood as a form of appreciation, either financial or non-financial, provided by the company as recognition of employees’ contributions. Meanwhile, employee performance is measured through indicators of quantity, quality, reliability, attendance, and teamwork ability. This research employs a quantitative approach with a population of 71 employees, all of whom were used as the sample through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, Product Moment correlation, simple linear regression, and the coefficient of determination test. The results indicate that reward has a significant influence on employee performance, as evidenced by the correlation and t-test values that meet the significance criteria. This finding suggests that the better the reward system implemented by the company, the higher the performance demonstrated by employees. Therefore, the company is encouraged to improve the effectiveness of its reward policies—such as wages, salaries, bonuses, allowances, interpersonal recognition, and promotion opportunities—to support sustainable improvements in work productivity.

Abstract

This study analyzes how group communication within the Vespa Bengkulu Bersatu community contributes to shaping the members’ social identity. This research is grounded in Henri Tajfel’s Social Identity Theory, which consists of three main dimensions: social categorization, social identification, and social comparison. Using a qualitative approach, the study collected data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that group communication strengthens solidarity, forms a collective image, and differentiates the group from others. Symbols, touring activities, shared values, jargon, and both offline and digital interactions play significant roles in shaping strong social identity and fostering a sense of belonging within the community.

Abstract

A land ownership certificate is an authentic legal document with strong evidentiary value, as stipulated in the Basic Agrarian Law (UUPA) and Government Regulation No. 24 of 1997. However, disputes frequently arise in land administration due to legal defects or administrative errors in the issuance process. This study examines the cancellation of a land ownership certificate based on the Default Judgment (Verstek) of the Bengkulu District Court Decision No. 34/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Bgl, which declared that the issuance of Ownership Certificate No. 06986 over land belonging to Hi. Himin constituted an unlawful act. The research aims to analyze the judge’s legal considerations in issuing the verstek decision and to assess the legal status of the disputed certificate in relation to the authority of the National Land Agency (BPN). The study employs a normative juridical approach by reviewing statutory regulations, legal doctrines, and court decisions. The analysis reveals that the judge rendered the verstek decision based on stronger evidence of ownership presented by the plaintiff, the defendant's absence without legitimate reasons, and indications of administrative defects in the certificate issuance by BPN. Furthermore, a verstek judgment with permanent legal force provides an administrative basis for BPN to cancel the certificate pursuant to Article 29 of Ministerial Regulation ATR/BPN No. 21 of 2020. Thus, a certificate declared legally invalid by a court decision must undergo administrative cancellation through the authorized land office. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to land dispute resolution and strengthen legal certainty within Indonesia’s land administration system.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the role of market development in strengthening the regional economy and improving agricultural product distribution in Binjai City. Market development is considered a strategic instrument for enhancing economic growth, increasing farmers’ income, and ensuring efficient distribution channels between producers and consumers. This research employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires and interviews with traders, farmers, consumers, and local government stakeholders, complemented by secondary data from relevant institutions. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistics and regression analysis to examine the relationship between market development, regional economic performance, and agricultural distribution efficiency. The findings indicate that market development has a positive and significant impact on regional economic strengthening, reflected in increased trade activities, job creation, and local revenue. Furthermore, improved market infrastructure and management contribute to more effective agricultural distribution by reducing transaction costs, minimizing post-harvest losses, and enhancing market accessibility. These results suggest that sustainable market development policies play a crucial role in supporting regional economic resilience and optimizing agricultural distribution systems in Binjai City.
