Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA (Pengabdian Untuk Anak Negeri) Indonesia merupakan wadah untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil Pengabdian Masyarakat dari berbagai disiplin ilmu dalam bentuk Jurnal ilmiah dan Open Accessed System. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra se Kepulauan Riau (Idebahasa Kepri). Artikel-artikel yang dipublikasikan di Jurnal Puan Indonesia meliputi hasil-hasil penelitian ilmiah asli, artikel ulasan ilmiah yang bersifat baru, atau komentar atau kritik terhadap tulisan yang ada dimuat di OJS system Jurnal Puan Indonesia maupun dalam terbitan berkala ilmiah lainnya. Jurnal Puan Indonesia menerima manuskrip atau naskah artikel dalam bidang riset terapan dan pengabdian masyarakat yang mencakup bidang keilmuan yang relevan dengan: sosial, kependidikan, sains, keolahragaan, bahasa, bisnis dan ekonomi dari berbagai kalangan akademisi dan peneliti baik nasional maupun internasional. Jurnal PUAN INDONESIA akan menerbitkan jurnal secara bilingual pada bulan Juli dan Januari setiap tahunya. JPI menerapkan kebijakan blind review dimana setiap tulisan yang masuk akan dikirimkan kepada mitra bestari yang terdaftar di JPI. Proses review dapat berlangsung maksimum sampai 30 (tiga puluh) hari kerja dengan alokasi waktu yang diberikan kepada tiap mitra bestari dalam menyelesaikan proses review nya adalah maksimum 14 (empat belas) hari kerja. Jika mitra bestari yang ditunjuk sebelumnya tidak mampu menyelesaikan pekerjaan review-nya dalam tenggat waktu yang ditentukan maka ketua dewan redaksi akan menunjuk mitra bestari pengganti untuk melakukan review tulisan yang dimaksud.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is rapidly advancing and has been applied across various fields, including education. However, high school students' understanding of AI remains limited. To address this, a community service activity in the form of an Inspiration Class was held at SMA Islam De Green Camp Tanjungpinang on June 4, 2025. This activity aimed to introduce the basic concepts of AI and its application in solving everyday problems. The activity employed an educational and participatory method, including interactive presentations, discussions, Q&A sessions, and simple simulations. The session was delivered by lecturers from Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH) and attended by 51 students. The material covered the definition of AI, examples of its implementation, and its role in modern life particularly in education, healthcare, and the environment. The results showed that students were enthusiastic and actively engaged in discussions. They began to understand the basic concepts of AI and how the technology can be used as a tool for problem-solving. This activity successfully sparked interest, curiosity, and critical thinking among students regarding technological developments.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving landscape of information technology, equipping students with practical and industry-relevant skills is essential before they transition into the workforce. This community service program was designed to conduct training initiative to strengthen students’ competencies in information system design. The objective of the program was to enhance participants’ ability to analyze user requirements, model system architectures, and implement structured system design methodologies. Throughout the training, students were introduced to core concepts of system designing such as Data Flow Diagrams, user interface wireframing, and tools related to it. In addition, students gained hands-on experience in using professional tools like draw.io and Figma, which are commonly utilized in system analysis and design processes in real-world IT projects. This training emphasizes the application of structured analysis techniques, logical data modeling, and fundamental software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles. By the end of the program, students demonstrated improved abilities to translate business requirements into technical specifications and were better prepared to engage in entry-level roles or further studies related to software engineering, business informatics, or systems analysis. The initiative highlights the importance of early exposure to system thinking and technical documentation in secondary vocational education, particularly for those pursuing a future in information systems development. The program not only expanded students’ technical knowledge but also encouraged analytical thinking and collaborative problem-solving, which are critical in the field of computer science and information systems

Abstract

The development of technology has a very big impact on the world of education. Today's advanced technology is very helpful for humans in doing their work, so it must be applied to get its benefits. It is undeniable that there are still many educational worlds that are very reluctant to use technology. This reluctance can be caused by the lack of will to learn or inadequate facilities and the absence of motivation or training. Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is a logical grouping of users and equipment connected to a network that is connected to administratively designated ports on a switch without regard to the location of the switch. VLAN is a technology that allows a Local Area Network (LAN) to be divided into several different segments. VLAN also allows the merging of networks that are physically separated, but seem to be in the same segment. After the community service was carried out, it was seen that the students' knowledge had increased, marked by the results of the evaluation carried out at the end of each community service session in each topic of the material. The increase in students' understanding also increased in configuring VLANs, marked by the students' ability to do configuration exercises without any assistance from the community service. From this community service activity, it can be concluded that the community service went smoothly and the students' knowledge about Switches and VLANs increased.

Abstract

Kenduri Sko is one of the sacred traditional traditions of the people of Dua Luhah Pendung, Kerinci Regency, which is rich in cultural values and local knowledge, especially in the use of traditional plants. The ethnobotanical knowledge inherent in this ritual reflects local wisdom that has been passed down from generation to generation, but now faces challenges due to modernization and diminished interest of the younger generation. This community service activity aims to preserve ethnobotanical knowledge through participatory education and mapping of traditional plants used in Kenduri Sko. The methods used include interviews with indigenous and community leaders, documentation of plant types, and educational training for local youth and students. The results of the activity showed an increase in public awareness of the importance of local plant conservation as well as the formation of digital maps and simple catalogs of plants that play a role in traditional ceremonies. This program is expected to be the first step in maintaining the sustainability of local culture and biological resources as part of the ecological and social identity of the Kerinci people.

Abstract

Pengelolaan administrasi dilingkungan tempat tinggal merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam menciptakan keteraturan dan transparansi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Perumahan Bukit Indah Sukajadi Kota Batam, dengan focus pada pencatatan pembayaran iuran bulanan, pengelolaan petty cash, pembuatan invoice serta pelayanan administratif kepada warga. selama proses pelaksanaan, ditemukan berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan data warga, kesalahan input data, hingga minimnya sarana kerja digital. Kendala tersebut diatasi melalui peningkatan ketelitian kerja, komunikasi aktif dengan pengurus RW, dan pemanfaatan perangkat pribadi sebagai solusi teknis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkna bahwa sistem administrasi yang berbasir digital sederhana dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap efesiensi kerja dan kepercayaan warga terhadap pengelolaan lingkungan. Hal ini menjadi landasan penting dalam memperkuat tata kelola di tingkat wilayah RW Perumahan Bukit Indah Sukajadi.

Abstract

Pemilih pemula memiliki peranan penting dalam pembentukan demokrasi yang sehat. Namun, rendahnya tingkat literasi politik dan minimnya pengalaman berpartisipasi dalam pemilu menjadi tantangan utama. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pemilih pemula melalui edukasi komunikasi politik serta simulasi teknik pemungutan dan perhitungan suara. Dengan pendekatan partisipatif, kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Sagulung, Kota Batam, dengan peserta sebanyak 20 pemuda-pemudi berusia 17–21 tahun. Hasil pretest dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman prosedur pemilu dan kesadaran akan pentingnya komunikasi politik.

Abstract

Digital sales in Indonesia have become increasingly accessible with the presence of electronic payment systems such as digital wallets (e-wallets) and online bank transfers, which simplify transactions between buyers and sellers. Social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok have become effective marketing tools, enabling brands to reach a wider audience through targeted advertisements and influencer marketing. E-commerce in Indonesia has also seen significant growth, with platforms such as Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Shopee, and Lazada dominating the market. The training on marketplace development in E-Commerce for students of SMK Kolese Tiara Bangsa Batam aims to provide practical skills in designing and developing effective online buying and selling platforms. Students will learn the basic concepts of E-Commerce. This training also covers payment system management, product catalog organization, as well as key aspects related to data security and online transactions. Through this training, students are expected to acquire the necessary skills to build a professional marketplace for marketing handcrafted products and student entrepreneurship, as well as understand the fundamental principles of digital marketing and how to attract customers in the E-Commerce landscape.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan akademik yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa mengenai dunia kerja profesional sesuai dengan bidang studinya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi S1 Akuntansi, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Ibnu Sina, di PT. Swakarsa Berkah Abadi, Batam. PT. Swakarsa Berkah Abadi merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengadaan barang dan jasa, dengan cakupan usaha meliputi konstruksi, mekanikal, elektrikal, reparasi dan perawatan kapal, serta perdagangan barang teknik. Mahasiswa ditempatkan di Divisi Administrasi dan berperan dalam berbagai kegiatan administratif, seperti pengarsipan dokumen, input data dan penyusunan laporan, serta pengecekan stok barang di gudang.Melalui pelaksanaan KKL ini, mahasiswa memperoleh pemahaman praktis mengenai sistem kerja perusahaan jasa, meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dan non-teknis, serta memperluas wawasan terhadap dunia industri. Pengalaman ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal dalam menghadapi dunia kerja serta mendukung penyusunan tugas akhir.

Abstract

The presentation of community service on political education efforts to increase female voter participation in the 2024 election needs to be done. This is based on the number of female and male voters which is almost the same, with the assumption that female voters are more loyal, and there are few female regional head candidates. This activity was carried out in the form of a workshop. Attended by 100 participants from Solok Regency representing Yasinan groups, gymnastics clubs, Community leaders-Bundo Kandunga, and PAUD teachers. This activity was held on December 23, 2023 at the Premier Hotel, Solok City. This political education is important to be given to all voters, especially female voters. This is because it is necessary to pay attention to the principles of justice and gender equality which are aimed at increasing political participation and women's initiatives, as well as increasing independence and maturity in national and state life. There are several driving factors in efforts to increase female voter participation. These factors include affirmative policies, gender education and awareness, support from non-governmental organizations, social and cultural change, and networking and mentoring. Efforts to increase women's political participation require effective strategies that can be applied in various political situations. First, improving education and political awareness. Second, is building networks and alliances. Third, providing ongoing guidance and services.

Abstract

The digital outreach activity conducted by students of Universitas Ibnu Sina Batam at several secondary schools aimed to raise students' awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean learning environment, creating ergonomic classroom spaces, and understanding digital security threats that may disrupt learning. The main issue addressed was the low level of student literacy regarding healthy living practices and the risks of digital fraud. Through a technology-based educational approach, students delivered material interactively using visual presentations and conducted live simulations to demonstrate how to identify harmful messages and protect personal information. The methods used included face-to-face counseling, participatory discussions, and practical exercises to recognize suspicious messages resembling online scams. The results showed that students became more aware of personal and environmental hygiene, understood the need for classroom layouts that support comfort and safety, and demonstrated increased vigilance against the risk of data theft via digital platforms. The activity also encouraged students to actively participate in discussions and share experiences related to hygiene and cybersecurity in the school environment. It can be concluded that an integrated educational approach combining hygiene, ergonomics, and digital safety effectively provides new understanding for students and fosters critical thinking and responsibility in maintaining a healthy and secure learning atmosphere.
