Abstract

The competence of quality graduates cannot be separated from the relationship between each educational standard that is a reference for management, governance, and education. The purpose of this analysis is to examine the implementation of national education standard policies as guidelines for improving the quality of education governance based on the quality of graduates who are ready to compete in the world of work both nationally and at the global level. The approach used in this analysis is descriptive-qualitative, which involves processing data obtained through literature studies in the form of reference books, scientific journals, official documents, digital sites, and official information that can be accessed online. The results of the study on the topic above conclude that SWOT analysis can be used as an alternative management analysis tool to identify aspects of strengths, challenges, opportunities, and threats to improve the quality and competence of graduates in accordance with the policies of national education standards. The results of the SWOT analysis recommend alternative strategies that can be developed and followed up as a form of implementation for improving the quality of graduates.

Abstract

Cocoa (Theobroma cacao) pod rot fungi  have various types. In general, cause cocoa pod rot  are fungi of the species Fusarium sp, Rhizoctonia sp, Phytium sp, Colletotricum sp, Amerosporium sp, Phomopsis sp and Phytopthora sp. Various species of fungi that can rot cocoa pods have high similarity in morphology characters even though the treatment for each species of fungi is different. This problem occurs in the people's nucleus cocoa plantations in the Yapsi district, Jayapura, Papua province. Samples of cacao pods infected with the fungus were taken and the isolates obtained were reinoculated into uninfected cacao pods. Isolates showing dominant infectivity were taken and identified molecularly. Identification was carried out by creating DNA barcoding by sequencing the Internal Transcribed Spacer (ITS) region of the 18SrDNA marker gene from the fungal isolates SP4DYAPSI-1, SP4 DYAPSI-2, SP3DYAPSI-1 and SP6DAUN3. Sequencing data in the form of isolate fungi DNA barcodes were analyzed with the ClustalX program analyses. The resulting phylogenetic tree construction shows that the four isolates are related to the fungus species Fusarium solani with a nucleotide similarity index above 95%. This shows that the cause of damage to cocoa pods in the Yapsi area, Jayapura, Papua, Indonesia is the fungus Fusarium solani.

Abstract

It has been more than a year since Russia launched a military operation against Ukraine in February 2022. Russia’s military operation is still on-going as Ukraine fights vigorously. Russia is among the most powerful countries in the world by military and experts argue that Kremlin hugely underestimates Ukraine’s resistance. It is notable that Ukraine has been forging a partnership with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) since 1991 because they perceive Russia as their common enemy. The fact that Ukraine has managed to be undefeated by Russia so far opens the possibility that their partnership, which manifests for example in the form of long-term military training and education, has helped Ukraine to build its defense capacity the country required to deal with present security challenges. The research finds that NATO-Ukraine collaboration in enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities has positive impacts on building Ukraine’s readiness in dealing with its security issues, although geopolitical complexities, internal dynamics, and resource constraints exist as challenges Ukraine needs to overcome to continue enhance its defence capacity.

Abstract

Bio composite materials are a combination of two or more natural polymer materials or biofiber (natural fibers) which can be degraded as reinforcement and polymer or matrix. Natural fibers generally have the ability to absorb sound well and have basic properties as composite reinforcements. If a wave hits a material, the wave can be straightened, reflected and absorbed. The ability of composite structures to absorb sound can be used to reduce noise levels. This research models a combination of egg rack waste mixed with sago leaf stem (gaba-gaba) waste as a bio-composite material for room acoustic panels. This research uses a material modeling engineering method which is a pure experiment, with the stages of making test samples based on fixed variables and measurable variables and then testing to obtain the material absorption coefficient, then the test results are based on the specified variables, then applying the material to the meeting room. After that tested the acoustic level of the room, especially the meeting room.

Abstract

In dealing with conflict in a region consisting of several countries, defense diplomacy is an important aspect in strengthening the region in facing threats from other countries, especially if the threat comes from a superpower, as happened in the South China Sea after China used claims. nine dash line which gives rise to the potential for conflict between countries, so for Indonesia, the role of Indonesian defense diplomacy is needed in realizing an optimal code of conduct in order to reduce the spread of conflict in the South China Sea, so referring to this background, this research aims to analyze how cooperation is implemented bilateral or multilateral defense with external forces to increase stability and balance of power in the region and the implementation of Indonesia's current defense diplomacy strategy to respond to conflicts in the South China Sea region. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods supported by interviews, literature studies, and observation as a method for tracking data and facts, where based on research results it is known that the proposal of several concepts to support the diplomacy strategy played by Indonesia is enough to have a significant domino effect on the Indo-Pacific region by focusing on the value of ASEAN centrality. Indonesia implements their national defense policy strategy by means of diplomacy and international cooperation which continues to be developed, implementing bilateral or multilateral defense cooperation with external powers to increase stability and balance of power in the region, one of which is implemented through the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP ), After going through several diplomatic processes and also negotiations on organizational dynamics.

Abstract

The current development of the internet is not only a medium for information and communication, but the internet can fulfill people's desires for practical shopping, namely online shopping. One of the developments of the internet in shopping is the emergence of e-commerce. However, with the emergence of e-commerce, we still have to be wary of the emergence of impulse buying, which is a condition that occurs when individuals experience a sudden feeling of urgency that cannot be resisted. Several factors cause the emergence of impulse buying, including; (1) Hedonic Shopping Motivation; (2) Product Knowledge; and (3) Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WoM). So this research aims to find out how Hedonic Shopping Motivation, Product Knowledge, and (E-WoM) influence partial impulse buying of Eiger products in the Shopee marketplace. This research uses a quantitative research method, with a purposive sampling technique to produce 100 respondents. The data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, which then analyzed the hypothesis based on the t-test. The results obtained are that Hedonic Shopping Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Impulse Buying, Product Knowledge has a positive.
