Abstract

Pulo Gebang integrated terminal is the biggest terminal in South-East Asia which was opened and launched in December 2016.  As it was planned, all the inter city bus companies, operating in Pulo Gadung and Rawa Mangun terminals, would be moved to Pulo Gebang integrated terminal. The objective of this research is to find out the development of electronic ticket system at Pulo Gebang integrated terminal, Jakarta; the constraining factors in improving the electronic ticket system; and the basic problem of electronic ticket booking system. The method used in this research was Fishbone method.  Research data were gathered by taking random sampling from 20 respondents.  The result of the research shows the median of percentage limit is 65%, therefore, 4 problems are arisen from 10 questions which reveals that there are only a small number of activities in the electronic ticket booking system and its promotions.

Abstract

PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental is one of PT Pertamina subsidiary focused on chartered ships in short and long terms for shipping supply, anchor handling, tugs offshore oil company, and gas for industry. The purpose of the research is to analyse the ship material’s cost with the profit of MT Patra Tanker I PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental from 2010 to 2012. The researcher is using quantitative method, field and library research. The result shows that the ship material’s cost is still unstable from year to year which affects the profit of the ship and the company.

Abstract

The research objective is to find out and analyze the application of the Safe School Zone (Zoss) to the safety of road crossers. The method used referring to Regulation SK 3236 / AJ / 403 / DRJD / 2006 concerning Tests for the Implementation of Safe School Zones, with normal distribution statistics (Z Test), traffic volume refers to the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. The results show that the previous volume traffic and behavior of pedestrian crossing at the School Congratulations Zone (ZoSS) location is not yet safe for 270 Jakarta Junior High School students and the lack of safe School Zone (ZoSS) facilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of service quality topassengers’ satisfaction at Lombok Internasional Airport, Praya. The study applied quantitative method by distributing questionaires to 154 passengers of Citilink and Batik airlines from Lombok to Halim. The result of the study shows that there is a strong correlation betwen service quality and passengers’ satisfaction. The contribution value of service quality is 52,1% towards passengers’ satisfaction at Lombok International Airport, Praya.

Abstract

Train is an effective vehicle to transport large cargo in a long distance trip though it still needs other transport (multimode transport) to load and unload the cargo. PT. KALOG (Kereta Logistik) is a new comer in the industry but considered to be a good and viably counted in the cargo transport industry. Based on the company information, this achievement could be reached due to its qualified human resources though it does not have, yet, occupied equipment and facilities. This study is aimed at finding out the strategies of the company in gaining the popularity among other logistic transport companies. This study is using qualitative and SWOT analysis. Based on the result, PT. KALOG is in the first quadrant which shows that the best strategy to be applied is Growth Oriented Strategy or Strategi SO.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know how Management Information System related to EFFORT system at AirNav Indonesia JATSC Perum LPPNPI Branch Office, how the safety of flight, how the influence of Management Information System related EFFORT system to safety. This research uses field data (field research) and library (library research). Method of data analysis by using simple linear regression, correlation coefficient analysis, and hypothesis test. The result of analysis and discussion shows a strong relationship between management information system related to EFFORT system with flight safety aimed at correlation coefficient addressed with correlation coefficient r = 0.81 less than 1, and result of hypothesis test show that thitung> ttabel = 1, 85> 1.701 so Ho rejected Ha accepted. This means that there is a significant relationship between management information systems related to the EFFORT system on aviation safety.

Abstract

The Company is service transporting of  palm oil, cement and  fertilizer  is domiciled in Belawan, Medan. In this study, to determine the development of fleet size, ritase, and achieving distribution of goods in the region of Belawan.  Method is  use quantitative methods, while, to know the effect of fleet size and the number of ritase in achieving distribution of goods as indicated by multiple linear regression line, namely; Y = 156 400 - 7.726X1 + 25.033X2,    Meanwhile, determinant coefficient test showed 0.995, suggesting the contribution of fleet size and the number of ritase to the achievement of the distribution of goods amounted to 99.5% while the rest influenced by other factors. Furthermore, the test Simultaneous results F count equal to 2239.989 for the F table at 3:47 Then F count> F table (2239> 3.47) then H0 is rejected, it means that with the same significant difference between the fleet and the number of ritase towards achieving the delivery of goods.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the effectiveness of strap purchase between company system and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. A strap is used to bond a cargo. Each strap has different qualification that depends on the purpose and types of cargo. The problems that happened in ground handling company are strap availability, incompatibility procedure, irregularity strap used, and employees understanding in using strap that they mighthinder airline services. It makes cargo flit hampered and it reduces the strap lifetime since it is damaged due to the ineffective cargo.It happened because the amount of goods loaded into the plane is not appropriate to the kinds of strap used. This study investigated strap procurement in PT Jasa Angkasa Semesta. The method of this study was Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) by comparing the prevailing system. The result shows that the number of economical straps is 208 units each month with the amount of safety stock is 7 units, reorder point id 47 units, and the average of maximum inventory is 215 units each month. The total different of strap provision between company system and EOQ system is Rp. 2674938 (68.12%).

Abstract

PT. Pos Indonesia is a company focusing on the delivery of packages and documents worldwide. Now we know that many courier companies and forwarding serve delivery services. So that PT. Pos Indonesia can survive amid competition, the author will formulate a strategy. But earlier, the authors need to analyze internal and external factors. The author will use a SWOT analysis to complete this study. This method is quite flexible in various state companies. The results of this study PT. Pos Indonesia are advised to use its strength to deal with the threats and opportunities. The strategies implemented by utilizing the factors of internal forces that exist to grab opportunities PT. Pos Indonesia in order to increase business. Based on the author analysis, an IFE score of 2.35 and EFE score of 2.24 and be in quadrant V, stability.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the transport waiting line / vehicle queue at toll gate of Cibubur Utama. The analysis method used was Multiple Server Queue System - single stage. Based on the calculation and analysis obtained service time at the main cibubur toll gate is  9.064 seconds / vehicle. At the average level of business (r) reached 70 %. Peak Hours condition reached 170 % means that it is more than Over Utilized. Low Hours condition reached 39 %. The average number of vehicles queuing up (Lq) on average condition is 0.0241 vehicles. Peak Hours condition is 158 vehicles. Low Hours condition is 0.00003 vehicles. Average time vehicle queue (Wq) on average condition is for 0.028 seconds. Peak Hours condition is for 77 seconds. Low Hours condition is 0.00007 seconds. The average number of vehicles in the system (L) on the average condition is 7 vehicles. The condition of Peak Hours is 177 vehicles. Low Hours condition is as many as 4 vehicles. Average vehicle time is in system (W) at average condition for 9.092 seconds, Peak Hours condition for 86 seconds, and Low Hours condition for 9.064 seconds. In Peak Hours condition, the capacity of the main cibubur toll gate is not able to accommodate the number of vehicle arrival rates.
